301  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell me a reason why I should use online wallet. on: July 14, 2020, 03:34:14 PM
Argument is not the solution just say him these are the advantages and disadvantages of having online and offline wallet. If he can understand good for him else experience will teach him which may not be the easy way and you wanted to avoid this so told him about having offline wallet. To limited extent, you can keep it in web wallet just like you use frequently to make payments, for gambling or if you are a trader then require it in online wallet.
302  Other / Meta / Re: Am I the oldest member here? on: July 14, 2020, 02:41:30 PM
You just proved that age is just a number and there is no age bar when there is an involvement of crypto currency. We would have young people as well on this forum who may be 15 years or may be below as well but with you age and you still an active member and taken so much keen interest just reminds me that we all have a very long way to go in our personal life as well as in our crypto community. Wish you a belated birthday and hope you stay fit and fine.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 14, 2020, 02:28:21 PM
^ I don't think BCCI will be looking to host IPL in country like Sri Lanka because they have always security issues due to inside war causes so BCCI will choose UAE if possible. But I am not seeing any news regarding cricket in local media for too long, that's why I thought IPL 2020 has been completely cancelled.
I am sure you wake up after many years because now Sri Lanka is very safe country and no security issues they already done some very good improvements in many fields and BCCI is not going to face any issue regard this but right now no one is sure about this because all things going in limbo until we are not sure about twenty/20 world cup announcement.
Not really, you can see even in 2019 there was a bomb blast in Churches and Luxury hotels.Still there are riots between two communities in SL so I don't think many countries will never allow their players to play on that kind of place.

I think all the South Asian country (Pakistan , India , Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) have some safety issue. but if government  military takes responsibility for the security of everyone then I think it is not impossible Sri Lanka can host the IPL.  on the other hand UAE is safer than others. BCCI can host IPL on UAE. Actually, I don't know why they talk about hosting IPL on Sri-Lanka instead of UAE.
I don't remember any international team refused to play in India due to security issue in the past 10 years but this still exists in Pakistan and other countries so India has no security issues for conducting the cricket but the issue is pandemic which is getting more worsen everyday in major cities where the cricket stadiums are primarily located.

Never heard of any such issues with India, infact from IPL itself we can come to know that how much safety exists where all international players come for the event and participate in it. In some other countries there has being issues in the past and due to which there are few matches might be conducted or probably no matches might be held. Infact there are many cricket stadiums as well across many states.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis after the epidemic on: July 14, 2020, 06:15:27 AM
The hope for vaccine to be available soon has risen after Russia said that by mid-August they will launch the world's first vaccine. Though this may still take time before the things become normal and surely, I do anticipate this year will go by like this only. Also, with the lockdown people have lost their jobs, salary not received or there is a huge pay cut happening and all this will add only trouble in people life’s. So things may not look that bright in next year as well speaking in terms of finance.
305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 13, 2020, 05:17:00 PM
This is very interesting question. It seems that everything is simple. You just need to transfer files and private keys on USB flash drive and give it to your relatives and that’s all. But on the other hand, if a person passes away suddenly, then in this situation your accumulations will sink into oblivion and there is no way to access them.

Yes, just like after we die either we have created a will whereby we transfer the house or bank balance to others then in the same way we should be transferring this crypto as well. Only thing here we need to write down ask the details and provide them so that the crypto which we had bought it does not go waste and can be utilized by the person with whom you had shared it and make his/her life more better as hopefully it would be good value worth it. So rather than ignoring we should be handing them to the near and dear ones and ask them to use it after we leave the earth.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial Crisis Will Come on: July 13, 2020, 02:06:14 PM
This pandemic bring us all down and cancel all our plans. Here in our province, we find a way to relieved that crisis which is a good thing. We learn to barter things that are not so useful for so other may may need or useful to them. The most common exchange are the basic needs such as groceries. Even plants can be barter and itnis very helpful.

This is really a good idea and I think many countries or some places atleast could follow this method. Many people during this time may not have income because of lockdown or loss of jobs so there would be something in house which is not useful to us but may be required to other and we can do it barter type. Though we used to have this concepts decades ago but still in today time is an effective method for some people. I will circulate this idea too all my friends and relatives and will try to work around on this concept.

Do you do it on any website or there is a market where people come and buy/sell it in barter way?
307  Economy / Economics / Re: China economy and how they handle Covid-19. on: July 13, 2020, 10:07:03 AM
How China stopped the spread of virus so easily when every country is struggling, they simply stopped saying it to the world, nothing more.No one can find what is the actual situation inside China, what their communist media report is the only thing we know. And also now there are more doubts occurs related to where this virus originated, Taiwan reported there is some kind of spread in Spetember itself but China denies it along with WHO.

Though one thing is sure that China was able to control the virus very quickly as compared to all other nations. Now what strategy did they use it to curb is interesting to know. When all countries are struggling and each day the cases are rising, China doing so well. Either they have found the vaccine, so they are able to control it or else they are maintaining proper protocol and still people are very cautious and flowing all the government rules and thus it is not spreading.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest trading strategy on: July 13, 2020, 07:40:13 AM
I also used that strategy when the price of bitcoin went down I just buy back bitcoin and hold until the price increase back again. Patience is the key to earn profit in trading so don't panic apply this strategy.

Patience stop loss and avoiding the panic selling are the some of the very good trading strategies that if you use it will help you to make money in the trading. Though there would be some bad days as well in the market due to volatility but overall if one continues with these three things, I guess on the right coins one would be able to make good profits.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: July 13, 2020, 07:21:41 AM
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it?
in current market conditions, it is indeed awry in holding coins for a long time, but if you hold ETH you better be patient for a while until the crypto market returns to normal.

Just divide the coins in long- and short-term horizon view. And for short terms once it meets my goal, I sell it off and book profits and for the longer-term perspective if there is a dip in the prices this is where the buying opportunity comes, and I start accumulating the coins back again. So, for ETH long term is bullish on this coin and should continue holding it.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 12, 2020, 03:57:14 PM
Bitcoin has a very developed ecosystem and a big community. It has the bigest capitalization and a lot of users. That is why people invest in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has evolved a lot in past decade and continues to do so. It has being one of the major revolution in the digital payment ecosystem and people who had bought at very early stage had become millionaire today because of the bitcoin. Because of volatility it continues to be an exciting stuff for me on daily basis and not boring for sure.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin prices crash if TikTok continues to get banned? on: July 12, 2020, 12:02:34 PM
DOGE would have dumped hard either way IMO because that's what usually happens with dogecoin first it pumps hard then it gets dumps hard. That's the reason DOGE is always in my long term hold coins.

After the couple of days fall today it seems to be flat on slightly up, but yes, the way it has risen seems nothing more than the price fall which was inevitable and had fallen in last couple of days as expected. Though good thing for those who had made money in this coin and got out are the lucky ones and also some booster for those who had held this coin form long time and were awaiting some spike in the coin.
312  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Crypto Exchange Platform on: July 12, 2020, 10:10:52 AM
If in India, your exchange will be the only one exchange, then yes, your exchange will be the best exchange platform in India. If there is another exchange in India, then I don't think that your exchange will be the best crypto exchange platform because you need to compete with the other exchange before you can say that your exchange is the best exchange. Well, you should prove if your exchange is the best.

There are several exchanges in India other than this and current situation what I read and understood is that still the position is uncertain if the country is about to bring back the ban on crypto currency. If that happens then all this exchange have to be closed down else there is a very big market if made it legal. Though there is now even Binance who had acquired the Wazirx and people may prefer that over any other exchanges.

313  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys use to record your trades? on: July 12, 2020, 06:38:28 AM
Not sure if I would need any third party software or even a web app for my trades, but if I am really committed to it, I think I'll consider using Excel or Google Spreadsheet and calculate my profits weekly.

Using excel is quite simple and easy as well. Unless its a very big business or have many clients then only software may be required or if is free then it may be worth it, but on individual levels I would just prefer to use excel and make bookings whenever the trade happens of buy/sell and accordingly can record it.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 12, 2020, 06:28:59 AM
The first week has passed in the third quarter and the fact is that the market is still difficult to bullish despite a series of predictions saying that a pump might occur but in reality it still isn't really happening and what happens is only a temporary recovery and the uptrend is still unpredictable and difficult for the market to get a bullish trend in the near future.

11 days of the July has been passed and still the btc is quite stable as such and hovering around 9200$ levels. Though it has being in 9-10k levels from long time now and for a major breakout and crossing 10k from here we will require a big support or some very positive news so that it can get stable above 10k levels. Hopefully in coming time we will see this as well.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: July 11, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
From lats couple of months this has being in the range bound as it has gone twice above 10k but had fallen from those levels and also had fallen below 9k during this period but had managed to bounce back form that and now at around 9250$ range. So for now it seems that it is being the 9-10k one. Some positive move will result towards the much awaited 10k price.

316  Economy / Economics / Re: South Korea quarantines and burn their cash due to Coronavirus on: July 11, 2020, 12:39:56 PM
My suggestion is to start using digital currency to make payments, so you can prevent
the spread of the corona virus.

Covid-19 has made the world see one of the many advantages using digital currency but I think the time is not really ready for now in the use of bitcoin because of many issues from volatile to internet use and many country don't have good internet system.

The problem at this time is that not everyone is equipped to handle the digital currency in all countries as many countries are undecided and made completely legal. But after this pandemic we are clear that digital payment will eb the key in future and for this crypto will be playing a vital role to resolve this issue of paper money. Now how does government take this opportunity and ensure the smooth transition happens it will depend on it.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: July 11, 2020, 10:56:10 AM
I just wake up in the morning and try to visited Yolodice after 2-3 days of not visiting the site and this is what I saw:

2 words when I saw this. "Ohhhhhhh SHIT". My 2 months profit has been gone in just a couple of weeks Cheesy. Fucking lucky gamblers. Now I regret not pulling my investment but will wait for it to rise again I think. Share your experiences Smiley.

The fall continues, as ystd their was a lucky person who made 2+btc in the winning amount and after that seeing the gamblers are turning a bit lucky now. Do not worry may be it is only matter of time and patience that you would be back again to your profits zone in coming time. Some days are just bad and you would like to forget and go back to your days when you use to be happy seeing profits on your account. Things will bounce back.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 11, 2020, 08:18:28 AM
Patience is key for getting maximum profits and to recover loss from the market but many investors losing their due to hurry or fear of more loss. And some even not get handsome profit.

For those who had being waiting for the dips and during that time if had bought it and continue doing it then they would surely be making money from it. Also, sometimes luck also helps when on dips you buy and in few days,  there is a boom and you make good money in short time as well. But overall in long run if you have good time frame and do not require immediate money than one will make good returns.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Snipie's gambling investment test on: July 11, 2020, 06:43:23 AM
This week as well it seems your loses would increase because there was a 2+ btc won ystd by someone and thus for the people with the open position their profits if any would be reduced or turned in losses and for those who are continuing with their investment will just add up more losses to it. This is how the gambling investment works. Hope the site make some profits which will happen eventually and will be big relief for the investors.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: July 10, 2020, 05:03:54 PM
???I 'm starting to think he never exists, he is just a meme

I dont think so. Satoshi Nakamoto really do exists. It's just that no one really knows who he is or who they are. Satoshi Nakamoto maybe a person only or it could also be a group of developers that worked hard to make Bitcoin.

The suspense continues regarding Satoshi if he is a person or a company is still unknown. Also is the nae really Satoshi or just a pseudo name being used still uncertain and I doubt this would get solved anytime. For sure the person or whoever it may be will not come in front and tell that I am the creator of the bitcoin else would have done by now.
