301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Integrating cryptocurrency in business on: April 05, 2020, 01:10:01 PM
Globalization is the biggest milestone modern society has achieved in the 21st century. Along with it businesses have grown and set themselves up in every corner of the world. This requires the introduction of new techniques in the growing demand for goods and services, like different methods of payments available that are secure and versatile. This also calls for integration of cryptocurrency in the businesses. The market for cryptocurrency investment, integration and development is new and small, it is still in its early stages of growth. The application of cryptocurrency in businesses will open new doors.
The setting up of cryptocurrency payment medium is the first and foremost step in the integration process, as it requires ample amount of time compared to other methods of payments. Businesses have developed their own crypto wallets to carry transactions in a safe and easy way. There are cryptocurrency exchange markets that work as an intermediary in the process and will charge for the utilization of crypto wallets. Various methods of payments will give customers options to choose from on their own comfort.
Cryptocurrencies and its many payment options will attract international customers. Cryptocurrencies approachable payment will enhance the adjustment and appointment for the businesses. The digital currency’s fluctuation might become a minor hindrance as the consequence of the integration, but it will minimize fraud risks.
Cryptocurrency is for sure a very attractive and interesting advancement in the new century. Businesses need to closely look at the pros and cons of integrating once and for all in their plan, also planning the outcome of such a step. Positive results will be a sign to go for it without thinking much. Various payment methods and the fiat currency’s exchange will make it all worthwhile.

From the time immemorial, businesses have transcend from one form of trading (buying and selling) to another form in response to the technological advancement.  Several surveys have revealed that there are more businesses online than offline in the 21st century.  Integrating more cryptocurrencies as  means of exchange will go a long way in giving businesses across the world facelift, I so much look forward to this in more reality.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: We launched a new airdrop (~1$ every 3 hours) on: April 04, 2020, 12:56:31 PM
This must be a serious joke.  After several topics on these kind of coin have been created here and were seriously frowned at, warning people to steer clear of scam projects like this.  Every other coins created with the name of this virus, where are they today?  Haven't you heard that their developers have taken to their heels.  Stopping creating coins or tokens in the name of corona virus again, I beg.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will this have any impact or not? on: April 04, 2020, 09:26:22 AM
What's going to happen if CZ and binance start getting rid of some projects on Coinmarketcap? Especially those with bad volume and Liquidity and also dead projects, because many are on coinmarketcap, what do you think this will do for crypto space? Will it have any impact or not?

I believe getting rid of bad and dead projects will definitely be a good decision to take.  This will have a positive impact on the crypto market as well.  Leaving thrse these dead and bad projects on the exchanges and coinmarketcap is creating a lot of confusions in the crypto spheres.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoronaCoin More drama, third exit scam and discord deleted on: April 03, 2020, 11:26:16 AM
Maybe those guys now affected by the COVID-19 because of mocking about Coronavirus! The sad thing is yobit helps these scammers because I saw Yobit listed the shitty Corona coin and people were buying too! These coins have no value, they had no website and the tech was proof of death! Big shame for those dishonest people!

It has been said time without number that the project is nothing but a big scam,  the exist of a scam project developer or deletion of discord account should not be a news anymore. Leave the issue of corona coin and let's discuss something better.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received coins or tokens that you forgot that you promoted on: April 03, 2020, 05:32:40 AM
Just checked all my wallets which I do from time to time, and found out I received 67,000 XPl exclusive platform token I did not remember promoting such a project but after doing a research I found that I did participate in their bounty campaign but that was january 2019 that's over a year, how about have you received coins that you forgot that you promoted in the past.

The developer last post was over a year and the project is inactive I don't know if I will be happy receiving it since the project is not active anymore just one of the project I  wasted my time.

this is the project that I've promoted
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089010

I have had this kind of experience more than three times. At time I will just check my imtoken and see notification of coin/token I didn't even remember at all.  One of such examples is GUAR token which the developer eventually ran away.  However, most of these unknown tokens or coins came through airdrop.  I just receive some airdrop that I cannot even remember when I participated.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the market stand this trial on: April 02, 2020, 06:04:22 PM
The market have withstood a lot in the past but what is happening right now is something unexpected, because of this the market crashed by over 50% do you think the market can recover if this scenario worsen and last for several months, what could be the possible solution here in the market.

From your point that market has survived a lot of situations in the time past.  The happening right now is what market is capable of surviving.  God forbid it didn't last long, but market has it's own way of normalising in such period like this.  Let's just stay at home and stay safe while the market recovers.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn and learn and keep learning will safe you from lots of foul play on: April 02, 2020, 11:35:12 AM
Honestly If anyone just come into crypto space through a link or online ads it's easier to get lost and fall victim to scams, i never get hacked for once or lost money to scam projects simply because I favoured learning things I don't know anything about, why can't people be like this either? This will easily safe you from money doubling schemes and Ponzi schemes, please newcomers and members, be more willing to learn.

The fact is that knowledge can never be too much.  You get to know more about what you seek knowledge on.  This is not also different in term of crypto.  Adequate studying of anything you want to dabble into would definitely save you a lot of stress and regrets.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this still possible today? on: April 02, 2020, 11:20:11 AM
Definitely, the idea or wisdom behind a project will actually make it found worthy by the investors.  If a coin is good, people will like to invest in it.  A good project starting with a low volume will definitely improve and reach a surprising high volume, it's just a matter of time.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: April 01, 2020, 06:30:42 PM
Things why a person can easily get scammed in crypto-world

1. Greed
2. No knowledge about the project
3. Trust

This are the three main reason why they get easily scam
Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

I think greed and ignorance are two major factors that make people fall victim of scam.  Some people want to get rich quickly even if they get to the crypto last month, such people will jump easily at any offer that looks buoyant but with traces of scams.  Secondly, some do not even bother to seek for knowledge about what they want to do, they just accept anything hook line and sinker.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? on: March 31, 2020, 11:02:14 AM
I have a few friends on Facebook which have never heard about crypto or even used it in their lives. I'd like to contribute towards the adoption of crypto by sending them small fractions of Bitcoin and Ethereum through Facebook. But I'd need to be very careful in order to prevent disclosure of private keys from prying eyes.

I'm wondering how will I be able to achieve this in the safest and secure way possible? This will be done through instant messaging of course (Facebook Messenger) with the intention of sending crypto in the most private way possible. My friends are not tech-savvy like me, so I'd need to figure out a method that's easy enough for them to get access to their crypto.

Which is why, I'm very intrigued to know how to send crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? Any help, suggestions, or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks Smiley

My candid opinion is just that, teaching them how to fish would be better than giving them fish. I think they need to create interest first in crypto, if not if you're trying to convince them by giving them BTC or ETH, at the end of the day they may not appreciate it.  I could remember when my friend approached me and told me about crypto, he explain some basics to me and what I stand to gain, then I personally developed interest in it.  Today I can endure the ups and down of crypto biz because I personally developed interest in it.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening? on: March 31, 2020, 06:02:03 AM
I am surprised that bounty campaign called SPYCE is already down in value after IEO ended on Probit exchange, Bounty campaign is still ongoing, what could make the price drop from 0.065 IEO price down to 0.03$ ? This is so scary lol, the bounty campaign is fixed with limited participants, I don't think this will count

There are some reasons that could be responsible for this:
1.  If the token or coin has been given to the early investors, definitely when those discover that the project is not really worth it again, they will just dump it on the exchange, now imagine investors having a large amount of such coins.  At times, it could even be some months after listing before hunters could be rewarded, investors would have dumped a lot on the exchange.

2.  Another reason is the current state of the market.  There are lots of panic now, people want to sell than investing.  The situation is even affecting the existing projects let alone the new ones.

If it is a good project, definitely the price is going to bounce back.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone trading Stellar coin? on: March 30, 2020, 08:37:31 PM
Well!! Did you know? Stellar is performing really well in the crypto space, several crypto experts assume the stellar price will rise high in the coming next months, and gives good returns on investments.

Here: https://coinpedia.org/information/stellar-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?

Stellar is a very good project that have stood the test of time in crypto market.  Not long ago I got some stellar through keybase application.  I wanted to reserve it in my wallet for holding because I knew the price is going to increase. Suddenly, I have a financial urgency and I sold all my XLM at 0.5$/one.  About 4 weeks later, the price rose to $8/one.  I was almost crying because it was painful.  Stellar is a good coin to hold.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Coin Head Developer Just Exit Scammed on: March 30, 2020, 10:54:35 AM
You can read it here https://www.publish0x.com/boyka/coronacoin-breaking-news-lead-developer-exit-scammed-xkqmjr?a=l9avrPVaG1&tid=scam

The lead developer just dumped 50eths worth of coronacoins at market price, and the rest of the team is also exiting the project. If you have any coronacoins just sell them.

I am not surprised at all. It was even hard for me to believe that such coin would be listed on one stupid exchange.  There had been several warnings on this platform concerning this, so whosoever that fall victim of this should have his or herself to blame for it.  To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 30, 2020, 06:11:46 AM
all I see is projects going for crap exchanges like ChainX and another one called leadwallet that wants to raise fund using ChainX and all team members are Nigerians, really? And many members are promoting such project?

I don't think part of this statement make any sense at all.  What do you mean by saying "all team members are Nigerians"? Are you saying Nigerians cannot executive good or trustworthy crypto project?  Statement like this can cause a lot of prejudice and you should desist from it.  Or may be I didn't get your statement very well.  Whichever way it may be, try and clarify or better still steer clear of statement like this some other time.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to new projects? on: March 30, 2020, 05:59:39 AM
Since I've ranked up to junior member I decide to start my bounty hunting journey and after spending hours on bounty section on this forum I was shocked that no single bounty is of high quality and worth my time, all I see is projects going for crap exchanges like ChainX and another one called leadwallet that wants to raise fund using ChainX and all team members are Nigerians, really? And many members are promoting such project? The good projects are over or I'm missing something?

Aren't there bounty projects that list on gate.io, binance, okex, huobi ? ChainX, p2pb2b, exmarket and others like these exchanges will only drag the project down, are bounty hunters blind or just too stupid to do research?

The issue is that, many investors have experienced a lot of disappointments from scam projects. No matter how good your project idea is now, hardly would you see someone to invest in it.  This coupled with the condition of the market are some factors affecting new projects even if such project is good.

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Virus coin on: March 29, 2020, 07:05:28 PM
Is this some kind of joke that someone has created coronavirus coin? I have been surprise. The more surprising was hearing that Yobit has listed this coin in their exchange. That's shame once again for Yobit. They have been listing scam shitcoin for long time.

I'm not too much surprised anyway, I know some people take advantage of any situation whether positively or negatively.  Topics about coronavirus crypto projects have been flying around for a couple of weeks ago and such have been seriously condemned on this forum because it is more of a scam than real. We just have to be very careful of all these scammers.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrency during this pandemic on: March 29, 2020, 11:07:42 AM
The world is not just moving towards a health crisis but it is also moving towards a major financial crisis. The entire fiat market is resetting itself. If you look at any major stock market around the world, you will see only red everywhere. Cryptos should have provided a safe heaven during this time, but it also seems to follow the same trend more or less. So at this moment, nothing is really safe. Crypto can't really print on its own to support the crypto families during this testing times. Stay safe and stay at home! Our first priority is to save our own life. Money can come later!

Absolutely true. Had it been that world governments have envisaged time like this, probably many of them would have supported cryptocurrency.  Some even fear to hold fiat currencies now or even go to Automated Teller Machine for withdrawal because they believe they could also be a carrier of the viral droplet.  There is little to which crypto community can do now. Even those clamoring for donations are scammers.  May be after this pandemic is over, more governments could probably give more thoughts to the adoption of crypto.  For now let's stay home and stay safe!
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 29, 2020, 08:41:38 AM
How do you survive in the current market situation?
If the bounty project is no longer profitable, what do you do now?

Definitely, it's not only crypto biz that is in this world, there are whole lots of other ways of making money online.  There is online tutorial that fetch someone some amount based on your skills.
In the other hand, people that have one physical work or the other to do where they get their daily income are not even allowed to go out in many countries because of this pandemic.  Personally, I'm just planning of adding one value/skill or the other to my self online while I sit at home. We just pray this shit get out of way soonest, because things are getting tougher almost everyday in many part of the world especially developing countries under lockdown.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: March 28, 2020, 12:04:18 PM
My brothers, anything crypto currency is highly volatile, don't hope on a hopeless hope, whenever you see profit, take it.

I will keep saying it,
in crypto currency profit is the game, you can always take your profit no matter how small and you will be happier at d end

Like I always say, small money in ur bank account is far better than $3k in ur online crypto wallet/exchange,

it can only be better the moment it's converted to your local currency.

Invest in crypto, safeguard your profit.

NB: Just my believes and mindset, I would love to learn even further from everyone here.
Ignore my English too

Happy new year.

Definitely, the ultimate goal of a rational investor is to maximise profit. Crypto investment takes a lot of wisdom to choose and project ahead.  If you invest and get huge profit, fine and if it is in other way round, it's part of investment. We should just have it at the back of our mind that, every investment is associated with one risk or the other.  Some prefer short term profit and some also prefer the long term one.  Whichever way, both of them have both advantages as well as disadvantages.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KYC bad for crypto? on: March 28, 2020, 09:01:27 AM
In some cases regulations are necessary to put an end to fraud and corruption in the crypto/Blockchain industry. By requiring KYC compliance on centralized exchanges, the crypto world could become a better place. However, the mere fact that you'd need to provide some sort of ID verification would completely destroy the purpose of crypto. I've seen situations where centralized exchanges became hacked, putting customers' identities at risk. Last time I've heard, someone hacked Binance and threatened to expose customer's identities across the web.

This makes me to believe that KYC does more harm than good for crypto. Of course, regulation is necessary in order to legitimize the industry in its entirety. Institutional investors, conglomerates, and other entities will find crypto regulatory-compliant for their own needs. But knowing that KYC goes against crypto's principles, could make the entire industry similar to traditional banking.

What are your thoughts? Huh

In the actual fact, personally I'm not totally in support of KYC. But it this become necessary at times to claim reward or invest.  I have always been somehow afraid of releasing my international passport for KYC.  Imagine an exchange like Vindax that is probed to hacking almost every time.  Exchanges need to do more in term of safeguarding the identities of their clients.
