301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XBS] Bitstake | For everyday digital currency tasks mandatory update on: July 02, 2015, 11:41:44 AM

302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [*] 8BIT [Dark Masternodes][Anon][Roadmap Stage 4] on: July 02, 2015, 11:40:58 AM
Ideas for 8bit:

1.  Follow through on torrent/game hosting.
2.  Add Gui functionality for darksend.
3.  Distributed twitch tv like service.
4.  8bit casino hosted on masternodes.
5.  8bit marketplace for cartridges/systems
6.  One click masternodes set up
7.  8bit apparel store on masternodes.
8.  In wallet emulator for 8 bit games
9.  Multiplayer port for 8bit games where users can bet against each other and play for high scores.  Tournaments hosted on masternodes.
10.  Gaming enthusiast chat room in wallet.
11.  Create your own 8bit game hosted on your masternode.  People can play your game for a certain window of time by paying 1 8bit.

Just brainstorming here

Edit:  Establish a Board of Directors.  Require 1000 8bit balance for a seat / access to special slack channel.  Call these Directors something nerdy/related to gaming.  Also require each director to add .1 btc buy support at a certain price point on bittrex.

I like all of these...

Very nice suggestions. Hope to see some of these happen.

305  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank holiday in Greece on: June 30, 2015, 12:48:59 PM
Yes, the banks are closed in greek till 7 july now. Greece is due to make a €1.6bn (£1.1bn) payment to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday - the same day that its current bailout expires. I think greece is close to a risky default and an exit from the euro party.

Holy crap in till the 7th of july how could people operate like that, business could get easily robbed holding cash for a week, and given the current situation if the country turns into economic chaos god riots and all that drama could burst out all over.

309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain this address? on: June 29, 2015, 02:58:49 AM

That true experiment to make slow confirmation bitcoin
this is part of blockchain stress  Roll Eyes

Is so cool to see this happening, we find that the bitcoin ecosystem can be subject to test and studies is mind blowing what we have here, from a single person asking about the activity of the wallet to the test being done with it.
310  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 29, 2015, 02:45:24 AM
It seems the porn industry is warming up to Bitcoin. GadgetCoin actually started to work with the porn industry  http://bit.ly/1LDeFdL

Using Bitcoin, the blockchain and smart contracts GadgetCoin offers 95% cash out for the web-cam models  http://bit.ly/1GUAH7v

i don't think any altcoin would be able to provide any liquidity to a web cam business or a business model is they are not backup by btc revenue in order to keep the price stable.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pita Bread Munchers Could Steal Bitcoins from Public Laptops on: June 29, 2015, 02:32:54 AM
I'll just keep my hot wallet coins on my trezor or a carry around amount on my phone, I am not worried about it at all. People who keep all of their coins in a hot wallet on a laptop are crazy anyways.

pita breads hackers could take over your trezor no problem, beware of the pita group taking over bitcoin, lol jking but for real i have seen a few people with their bitcoin wallets open on coffee shops like is all good, is like putting your wallet open in a table just waiting to see whos gonna take a shot at it.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is this guy showing bitcoin logo to the world ? on: June 29, 2015, 12:32:40 AM
pretty cool to have someone make an statement to a wide viewers online, well hes not alone in RT max is also there always with the keiser report.
it could be a troll attend but also a little bit of free PR for bitcoin.
313  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ok boys i think i have a simple idea nobodys doing yet on: June 29, 2015, 12:21:30 AM
Why make a long post about a thing you basically can not say anything about, even knowing it's a odd thing...?

Yea is pretty odd, but at lease he could have posted the main idea with out any technical details in order to secure the path of building the idea, but is fine i guess someone will send him a pm if the choose to talk about it more in detail and become a 50/50 partner.
314  Economy / Exchanges / Re: where buy bitcoin without verification ? on: June 29, 2015, 12:13:18 AM
Check out btc-e, they have a few methods that do not require verification, I believe.

Also Localbitcoins.com, you can meet a seller in person, use it at your own risk.

There is a few money exchanges where you could buy btc-e codes and bitcoin at the same time no verification needed https://www.xmlgold.eu/ i have used it a few times to buy btc with perfect money balance.
315  Economy / Collectibles / Re: PaperSafe ..Secure Paper wallet with unique security anti tamper design on: June 28, 2015, 10:28:49 PM
I was messing with my invisible ink printer.... and this popped out..... I call it  Satoshi's "GHOST" note.... It looks like a blank sheet of security paper ..but when its exposed to Black light ....The details become clear.....

That is one badass note!

Regards,
Christopher

I was fascinated when i first saw this paper note, really classy work on it, would you do it in other languages like spanish or italian, it would be pretty cool to offer an international look to it.
316  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Minecraft Hosting on: June 28, 2015, 10:22:55 PM

Come in and have fun!

Great thanks, anyone down to play a little minecraft, maybe we could setup a twitch tv stream and get more people to join, i would tip some bits to the viewers and players.

cheers.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any other way to earn Bitcoins on: June 28, 2015, 10:16:54 PM
I have been doing a few garage sales using old stuff i dont use and free items i find or i get for free and i have been able to earn a good amount, i became buddies with a local bitcoin seller and i just trade the cash for btc no problem, he has actually bought a few of the items on each garage sell.

so dont just throw away your old stuff clean it and put it up for sale.
318  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloudways Now Accepts Bitcoin on: June 28, 2015, 10:13:17 PM
First time i heard about cloudways i would give it a try, well more acceptance is better then just waiting for bigger companies to accept bitcoin has we know we ratter support good small companies to take bitcoin for their services then the big corp giants in the industry.

will be checking out the service now and see hows the bitcoin experience with cloudways.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 28, 2015, 09:58:23 PM
well i did not see anything written about farming the bitcointalk accounts, i know some people do it and earn money from that, i think its the best way to earn after sig campaigns

i had a garage sale today and made 6.8 btc selling stuff i found in others people garbage or where given to me for free, trash into treasure pretty much, i did receive most of the income in cash so i had my local bitcoin guy exchange it into bitcoin after.
320  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A contractless credit system on: June 28, 2015, 09:20:30 PM
I think BTCJam has already a similar loaning system, you only give out loans based on reputation and requirements, perhaps collateral.

is very difficult for get loan in btcjam, I've done the paypal verification, verification of documents, etc. but I still can not be trusted

the p2p lending system has to make a few changes, maybe by creating a assets backup system where a user can send a neutral party an item or something of value to say this person is backed up by this and this.
