I'm not sure though if we can use XEL ticker. X is used for currencies, as far as I know. Like XBT = bitcoin, XEM = NEM currency, but still there is no X for ETH, because Ethereum is not a currency, but more a token. Elastic is a token either in my eyes. And besides XEL ticker is already used by some Xcel Energy Inc. You can google it. But maybe I'm just wrong.

It is not suitable to discussing the ico cost. As we know, the NXT was built on 21 BTC, XEM also built on very little donated BTC, they all realize almost 10000 times profit if calculated with fiat.
Not every project is NXT, not every project is XEM, not every project is XEL.
I dont see any usage for XEL, 2000k is a good price, how someone else mentioned its 8x regarding to your Fiat Donation. XEL has no Cooperations, no product, no usecase area, nothing and you think 2000k is low? Dont know what you re dreaming of, but ive seen lot of projects like this one in the past. Dreaming all around and than realizing that you cant do anything with your coin. Iam honest, i would invest, but everything over 3000k would be ridiculous at this stage of development. Actually, 2000k is a very good price. I would sell at that. But maybe it is a bit too much don't you think? After all, 2000k sat is 0.02 btc  Haha, sure. Originally someone was proposing 2k sat but then I just mistyped... or not? |

Anyone looking to sell his/her coin at a reasonable price (1500sat - 2000sat max) should PM me, I'm interested in buying some since I missed the ICO.
this is not reasonable. look at the market (e.g. golem) then make a discount for not beeing ETH token (-50%) then add percentage for better product (+50%) and you are at >300 million. THis would be market value and reasonable. Unreasonable would be anything higher than 1 billion Spot on. 2000 sat is insanely low. 50.000 Sat would be reasonable. Donation price was 625 sat (min) and 1250 sat (max) so 2k is really low. However, in dollar terms it's still not bad as BTC is up x5. It often happens when a project goes live its price goes up x3-x4 times. But considering we have something very special here with a great potential to show our competitors with MC over $400m who's the Daddy and considering market cap upon donation ending was very low, the price shall go up much much higher. With 2000k sat Elastic won't even appear in top 100 coins by market capitalization - you got to be kidding I said in my post that 2k is really low. My point is: considering BTC is up x5 AND 2k sat is above max donation price, the profit would be x8, which is not bad in real life, but obviously not in crypto :-) Sorry, my indignation really refers to the post of @thepo1m, not yours. Anyway, too much talk about potential price, which our devs don't really like. But I couldn't let this post get unanswered because it hurts so much... |

I will be speaking in terms of Elastic price. As someone said "people are more willing to pay for expectations", than for a ready product, because it gives an opportunity for future profits.
If we release a fully ready product, the initial price will be very high, which is, of course, very good for early donators, but is it good for newcomers?
So cons releasing just a Lite client at the moment:
- low price at the beginning (but constantly rising when new features are coming); //"Waves" is a good example. They had only a LiteClient for a ~year, so the price fell almost x2 times below ICO once. Now, when they released token creation, decentralized exchange, Leased PoS, - features expected as an MVP - the price rose x2,5 times the ICO.
Pros:
- good chance to come in for new investors, developers, exchanges; //This is important. If a big exchange like Poloniex will have a chance to buy a stake early for a low price, Elastic will be listed on it for sure
- great trade volume // This will also attract big exchanges
- ability to create a foundation and attract more devs, bug hunters (like HunterMinerCrafter).
Releasing an MVP will give a higher price and won't be so attractive for newcomers as releasing a LiteClient, IMO.

1 Are only supernodes allowed to "mine"? Can usual nodes "mine" too?
2 You told once that SNs collect about 10% of all fees. Is this still correct?
3 What is the fee in Elastic - 1 XEL by default like in NXT?
4 How do supernodes become guardnodes?
5 Can you please explain how the bounty system works in common words?
We have "Amount", "Bounties wanted", "XEL per bounty", "XEL per PoW" textboxes in "Compose a Job" window. What does it mean?
6 What extension is used by Elastic job files?

Сегодня на почту получил вот такое интересное письмо. С переводчиком я понял что в письме рассказывается о мобильном приложении и о краудсейле 25 апреля.  Об этом было и раньше известно, а именно, что MobileGo будет принимать наряду с Game и Incent, только толку не будет, даже если будут бонусы при инвесте морковкой, как и геймами. Только что избавиться от них. Бонус в битках в любом случае лучше в % соотношении. Здесь о другом: каждый инвестор, вложившийся в MobileGo получит бонусные Incent, которые будут выкупаться разработчиками с бирж, повышая тем самым уровень спроса на морковку. Также в своём магазине MobileGo планируют разместить тысячи игр, возможность делать ставки в них, встроенный рынок цифрового контента и расчёты там будут проводиться.. в том числе с помощью Инсента. Потенциально это большая аудитория и новые деньги. Так что ждём роста. |

Я тоже долго держал морковь на кошельке а потом психанул и слил все, а монета гиблая, попей никаких новостей ни каких разработок, ико собрали и хорошо, хотя пропампить могут.... Но будут ли  И когда?? Ответов нет Поспешили Вы однаков, ведь цена рано или поздно вернется к ИКОшной. Или же Вы слили баунти, тогда другое дело. Но на самом деле по такой цене можно даже прикупить немного для разнообразия своего инвестиционного портфеля. Нечего всяких троллей слушать. Каким именно образом цена токена могла в принципе вырасти, если ни DEXа, ни первых предпринимателей, реально использующих систему лояльностей Incent пока нет? Насчёт новостей автор тоже не прав - новостей в англоветке полно. Будут ли пампить? Будут, но это будет не "памп" (не люблю это слово), а логичный рост цены. Если не верить в проект, зачем тогда вообще вкладываться? Рассчитывать именно на памп? С таким же успехом тогда можно идти в казино. На самом деле сейчас момент чуть упущен, но покупать как Waves, так и Incent ещё не поздно. Всё самое интересное впереди. |

Аккумуляция нормальных монет происходит годами, а всякого говна вроде XBC за мгновение по договоренности между разработчиком и биржей. В результате весь объем находится у пампера, а остальным приходится выкупать у него по рынку. То, что волны наконец-то появились хоть на одной крупной бирже это круто. Скоро подтянутся остальные. Уж больно крутая платформа.
Livecoin с натяжкой можно назвать крупной: на 7 месте по паре ETH/BTC и на 14 месте по паре BTC/USD. Общий дневной оборот BTC4К, тогда как у Bittrex BTC7,7K Нееет. You really demand too much from a person who's doing everything all alone. You guys just don't know how to wait. Have you heard anything about eMunie project (now called Radix)? That's where investors have really steel nerves... There is only 1 developer as well and it was going to launch back in... 2014... in 2014!!! But the work is still in progress and day after day it becomes better and better! eMunie had milestones long ago, but later the developer and founders decided to use "it's ready when it's ready" formula and now after such a long time investors agree with them. Because they believe everything must be perfect before it goes live. Same thing should happen to Elastic. It will be better for all of us. |
