I have been in touch with Magnus Daar and can confirm he is looking to put a case together against KnC. He is also looking at having many clients, so splitting costs among the group will save a LOT on lawyer fees (although you'd get these back if you win). I'd urge anyone looking for a refund to get in touch with Magnus Daar.

2A Boolberry
It's memorable and the branding/logo's already in place for it are strong. If some folks want to complain or laugh at the name, that's only a good thing (especially in this early stage) as it's more advertising for the coin.

How long before coins mature and begin staking in the wallet?

Anyways, there hasn't been much interest on this thread here, so not sure I'll be updating it as frequently.
Please update if/when you have news or info. I'm sure there are many interested parties, given the number of people who have signed the petition

JBS is now 100% Proof of Stake. It looks like the market was temporarily suspended on Bittrex for a brief moment during the switchover. It probably triggered an automatic alarm because many coins have issues switching to 100% Proof of Stake. All up and running fine now on Bittrex. I have also started up a couple more Nodes for people with sync'ing issues. Syncing fast now. Cheers jyap.

any node? can't sync Any luck? No sync here either. Nodes please someone?

I downloaded the Windows x64 blockchain yesterday and have synced up to 202656. Stuck there for hours now so I must be on the wrong chain.
I downloaded it again this evening, but the file size suggests to me it's the same as yesterdays and I don't want to end up in the same position again.
Could the OP be updated with the correct Windows blockchain ASAP please! Ta

Monero price is way too higher than Bytecoin; even if it is a clone. I wonder why. Is it in the name of fair distribution BS?
In spite of being the first cryptonote coin, you know what's hurting Bytecoin? Those 80% of coins. Time to destroy them.
You want to know why? Bytecoin = premined crap Monero = no premine. just because you didn't know about it doesn't mean it was premined. how many times do we have to revisit this same thing? Wake up! If me and 10 (or however many) pals mined a coin for two years, then announced it on bitcointalk, I'm afraid it'd be classed as pre-mined by the community. Simple really. This is what happened. There is no doubt about it.

I hope they haven't abandoned this coin...I really hope bholzer is right, and they are just way behind schedule.
Talking to a friend who is also heavily invested in 888, there isn't much we can do but wait and see. You can't dump 888 even if you wanted to since there isn't any buy support. IIRC the original estimates were to have 2 if not 3 apps released by the end of Q3, which is August for the dev team. Hopefully we'll see something from them soon. If end of Q3 was specified, then the devs still have 5 weeks. Plenty time.

Hi Minergate. Could anyone point me in the direction of step by step guide to installing the console (non-gui) version of Minergate's miner on Ubuntu Server 14.04 please? I can't seem to find one.
Thanks

BBR has lots of support. It's early in development, but big things are coming and it'd be a mistake to remove it.
Please keep BBR

I just stumbled across a few 888's and thought I'd see what's going on over here. It's looking good. Lot's a work going on under the radar. I'm glad I held onto those 888's

Need more action here. Updates, news, giveaways. Whatever...
I think the dev said a team was being put together for promotion and other stuff. Is that correct?
