IndiaMikeZulu running a wallet. And just poking around on Exmarkets.
EDIT: my interest is BlockDX. Does anyone have any idea what sort of volume DMD has there?

Is sad to see clam with this low price... The community needs to give more applications to the coin because right now we can only use it to trade on Exchange and to play on Just-Dice... But without a real competence and more applications is hard to see this coin going up again.
It would be nice to see a mixer service with clam, or a loans service... and some other random applications.
Very few cryptos have escaped the drubbing that began when Bitcoin dominance spiked in early 2019. So, yes to all development. But price is less important than volume. Clam has good volume. We can build on that. IndiaMikeZulu

1 question will Clams leave yobit.net? if n when will the wallet return?
You mean they have already frozen the wallet? I was planning to put some up on yobit because of the better exchange rate, however, i cant seem to register there for some reason. I am not sure how genuine they are, do they allow withdrawals of btc without any issues? As far as I can ascertain, the vast majority of Yobit's altcoin wallets are "In Maintenance" (so, yes "frozen" if you like) and typically you can’t directly deposit/withdraw the altcoin of your choice (e.g. CLAMS) but need to exchange them either for BTC or for one of the altcoin wallets that they do actively support. (I have an account there but haven't had cause to do any trading). Cheers Graham Thanks Graham, i see a lot of yobit sites, each one calls the other a fraud! Its so funny! Don't know if i can trust them at this point, but the alternative exchange at freebitcoins is paying a very low exchange rate. A bit of a dilemma, i will try with a dummy account and check how that pans out! Sadly, trading-data on Yobit is not worth a pinch of cockie poop. Meanwhile, Clam is trading with fair volume on Xchange. Disclaimer: I trade Clam (and 42-coin) on Xchange. IndiaMikeZulu

Aaaaaah! My laptop is still in the post. Can start trading in a few days.
EDIT: Aaaaaaah! I'm surprised how much I miss trading.

If there was a KYC-free open source wallet that allows debit card purchases, it would be amazing. I'm just kinda afraid to use debit cards now, considering the fact that we're in the middle of an economical recession. Debit card purchases are big chargeback risks. I don't think that any open-source wallet will intergrate this option. This account is stolen

Okay, I am reading reading reading.
So is Diamond unarguably one of the most energy-efficient cryptos?
And didn't realise the annual inflation rate is so very low.

Whooo! If I am on holiday, how come I'm here?
Because 42 is worth 182k. Can't wait to get back to trading.

IndiaMikeZulu and The Apprentice -- and maybe now another guy -- are all happily trading Clam.
We noted that it was one coin that did not drop in price the other day, when Bitcoin spiked.

'The U.S. could return to full employment in 2022 if President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus rescue package is passed, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said on Sunday.' https://www.oilandgas360.com/yellen-says-u-s-could-return-to-full-employment-next-year-if-congress-passes-1-9-trillion-stimulus/This is, IMHO, bizarre twaddle. A friend of mine is a medical research scientist. He predicts that we could easily be stuck on the vaccine-go-round for a year or more yet. And people will soon figure out that Biden isn't much of a solution to anything. But do some research, campers. Bernanke and Yellen spent years pumping money into the US economy after the GFC. To make it all better. And now she has a noo job. Pumping money into the US economy. To make it all better. Stimulus = inflationary = bad = good for 42

Someone just knocked the Xchange 42-Btc pair all the way to the floor.
And Bitcoin just topped $48k. So one 42 is worth $170k

Hey, sirslayer. Please keep the details coming.
Meanwhile, 'W W' and I are working hard to increase volume on XBTS and Xchange. I got 45,000 sats of 42 on XBTS at 2.5.

Do tell how the process goes

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all Novacoin-ers. This will be a great year for cryptos

Disclaimer: I am quite new to Freebitcoins
One: the withdrawal fee? I see 0.0002 at this moment. The Litecoin withdrawal fee is 12 cents.
Two: the exchange is run by long-time libertarians, which counts strongly with me and my outfit.
Three: it was explained frankly to me, when 42-coin was listed, that the exchange is in development. It is up to us to increase volume.
Four: having a faucet is a fine thing. They are now rare. And for a community committed to helping folks learn to trade, being able to direct them to a bit of free coin really does ease the way.
Five: the 'triple barrel' of exchange/faucet/swap is niiiiice! Yes, no argument, it needs massively larger volume to make it work. But the infrastructure awaits.
Six: a personal thing: my poor ol' eyes really appreciate the 'sparse' layout of the exchange.
Seven: Clams itself:
I'm a long-time community dev, so I feel confident to comment. It is so very often the case that those-who-contribute-the-least have the harshest criticisms of inadequate development. For example, if Your Fave Coin is listed on Xchange but it's prices are crazy high/low, then the thing to do is get on there every day, and close that gap! Make Your Fave Coin available to the world at good prices.
Finally: I'd drool on my bib with enthusiasm if I were community-devving on a coin whose dev team can set up and run an exchange!

A little group of us is now trading a little Clam. We mostly trade 42-coin. But we see Clam as sort of the in-house coin. So it's nice to push it along

Several of us are quietly trading and watching on the Xchange 42-Btc pair.
EDIT Yeh, trying to shake things up a little, to see if we can get enough volume to get a clear buy-sell spread.
Edit Edit The Apprentice and I have successfully awakened the Xchange market. (Price knocked down to 1.8!). Let's see what happens.
We will, if necessary, narrow the buy-sell spread to 1%, to get volume.

We doing well on Xchange. Not a lot of trading. But there are ten or a dozen buys for every sell.
