yeah I am ready for the swap to end too but we need to hear from yobit or people that have a problem with the swap ending need to speak out.  There is no guarantee yobit will help with this current problem and we need to at least consider an alternative to move forward I think this is a fact.

I think right now that having the deadline still be when the 10 week cool-down period would have ended seems reasonable.  If the issue isn't resolved by then it probably wont be.

Remember to vote for MOIN once a day on Cryptopia.  We got over 100 votes last round!

Just wondering how the network could be at a standstill with all the stakeing going on. There is like 29 active connections right now. That is higher than most coins I am staking

it is the moinv1 network that is messed up, the MOIN network is doing great. Smiley

The current useable MOIN supply is ~ 5488809

Total coin supply 9265070 - Remaining swap fund 3394610 - Already burned 381651 = current useable MOIN 5488809

The coin was great for ICO investors and still could be great in the longrun.  This whole drama thing could have been avoided but shit happens, tempers flare.  There are a lot of interconnected parts when it comes to community, development and trading.  On a personal level I wish you would have just responded to some of the messages you got shapetwist and said anything like "I closed it permanently", anything would have been nice, but it is forgiven, you don't owe every individual attention and as it grows I suppose it is impossible to answer everything.

So is there new development news shapetwist?  I think that is what everyone is most curious about, the slack channel provided a very nice way to stay up to date with things.

I thought the slack was a fun way to stay in contact with warp people but maybe it was causing some sort of issues I didn't understand.  I really doubt the presence of a slack channel will make or break the project but I already miss hanging out in there.  Undecided
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ―――――――――――――――― ▲ M O I N ―――――――――――――――̵ on: March 02, 2016, 07:46:57 PM
how many total coins ?

i dont see any informations about it

It still depends on how the end of the swap goes.  Currently over 4.3 million MOIN remain unclaimed http://explorer.discovermoin.com/address/MbuPpxiv2U2avZLKgodN3wcS9HQL7QuR5P .  So right now there are 4321280 MOIN and that could go up to 8714802.  The chain runs on proof of stake so that adds some coins too.  See the OP for details on that.

At which stage are we know?

Why is the wallet design a rip-off of Shadowcash?

Where is (are) the whitepaper(s)?

Who's behind the coin? What is the coin team?

You'll need to give some reassurance before you get investments...

In my opinion, the rest of the Moin should be burned.

Right now we are in week one of the 10 week swap phase out.  The swap coins are burned in chunks at the end of each week and the end result is all the remaining swap coins burned.

The wallet is a fork of shadowcash https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1237881.msg12888357#msg12888357

I don't think I have seen any whitepapers.

KingCaper is the dev.

We have a nice community going if you want to swing by the irc room you can probably get any other questions you have answered.  #moin-crypto http://www.moinmovement.org/chatroom.html

Hey I just received 89 XCT so maybe it was just really long blocks or something.  Wanted to let you know though.  Smiley

Hey Jookly, ever end up receiving more coins after this post?

yup all good  Cool

and you have been mining 24 hours now or ? the blocks move at an average of 6 per hour (same as bitcoin).. and with 100 confirms needed on the network (same as bitcoin) then you can expect at least a 16 hour wait to receive the payout. has it really been that long?

that is correct I have mined for ~26 hours at this point

It looks as though we have pulled the London
pool off the grid. Go over to the Frankfurt pool
and start mining. If you start receiving XCT
with no problem, then we know absolutely
that there was a problem with the London
pool and we are sorry for the inconvenience.
We obviously didn't plan it that way.

William Martens
C-bit Founder

Ok I will try that now.

Edit:  actually on second thought I am just going to pull the miner for now and see if maybe some payouts show up from the bravo pool.  I am still kind of optimistic that it is just a confirms issue like C-bit Bitcoin described, who knows, maybe they will start coming in a few hours.

No, the London pool is still online and operating just fine. Users should expect anywhere from 14-18 hours before receiving a payout after confirmation, as the 100 confirmations are needed on newly generated blocks before coins are released.

Isn't there anyway you can check to see if my address should have been sent or is queued to be sent a payout?  I am just looking for a little reassurance here.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XCT] C-Bit - Elegantly Solving Bitcoin's Blockchain Problem [SHA256][POW] on: March 02, 2016, 02:00:00 AM

As for the pool payouts.. if you don't mind me asking are you mining with a sizable amount of power? The block spacing has decreased a lot but if you have enough hash power you should probably be seeing some payments, unless the blocks are just waiting to be confirmed. Since the blocks are actually being solved slightly slower than the target right now, if the pool has 120 confirms or whatever # they chose, you could just be waiting for a while to see those first payments. There's just not much of an interface to look at there so it's difficult to tell.

There is a contact form on the site you can try.

That is no problem to ask at all.  I am mining with about 5-7TH for ~ 26hrs now.  My address is the 1LmyakHYJnaK99jD9pd72RgASpCpZuhPJY you an see it on http://bravo.btc-bit.com/workers . I have still received no payout as of now.

1 ) Working on finding the information regarding the
BRAVO pool. Will have something as soon I have it,
and will post it.

Any word on this Martens?  It really seems like I should have recieved some XCT by now.  Either I am doing something wrong or misunderstanding something or its not working correctly.

Thanks!

Pending Blocks   27    Confirmed Blocks    2044

id imagine when you see pending blocks go down, and confirmed go up, you'd get paid

ok but i know already know this.  The confirmed blocks has gone up plenty since I started mining.  My friend who is mining on the NYC server has received many payouts during the same time period.  I will let it go for another hour or so and then I'm just going to pull my miner.

Guys its ok.  Bank_sy isn't even being that critical but he could stop repeating himself at this point because I don't think a satisfactory explanation as to why he should change his mind is going to pop up, nor is it necessary for you guys to come up with one.  You should realize though that from outside perspective he really just wants to find a reason to get involved with your coin and to see it degrade into a sort of argument is probably just because of the forum format, anonymity, etc.  So chill on that.  Maybe a better explanation of some of the whitepaper things will come in the future.

Now someone answer my question above about the bravo pool please  Grin

Has anyone been getting payouts from the http://bravo.btc-bit.com/ pool?  It seems like I have been on there through quite a few confirmed blocks and shares but haven't received anything at my address.  It is probably going to show up right after I type this but I thought I would ask on the off chance that I am either missing something or there is a problem.

maybe there is a minimum i haven't reached yet or something?

Thanks for the good updates on coingecko and on the reminder about the swap.

I made a post on www.moinmovement.org with both of those bits of info and also added the coingecko widget to the footer of the webpage.

I also made a Twitter account for Moin Movement and the is over at www.twitter.com/moinmovement

I still haven't gotten around to making the landing page for the stickers but I have not forgotten about it.

Did anyone requested this Moin at poloniex?

I am not sure.  Poloniex is a great exchange though that would be awesome.

Hi I am Jookly, one half of the Blockchain Dynamics radio show.  The other half is my friend brandondoge on freenode irc.

Basically we are just looking to have some fun and share and discuss altcoin news we collect over the week.  We are sometimes cynical but also cautiously optimistic about crypto projects.

We would like to collaborate with the community to make this show something that people enjoy.  If anyone has any crypto information they would like us to share, or if you would like to share it yourself on our show via skype, get in contact.  It would be great to hear peoples stories, opinions and perspectives about this amazing altcoin world!  Cool

Didn't think it was a valid code but goes to the Moin welcome page. Cool

Ya that is a "for now".  I am going to get a page ready that will explain a few things.  First it will talk about the basics of bitcoin/cryptocurrency and then go on to tell a little bit about proof of stake.  It will then describe MOIN specifically and provide links to get involved and get more questions answered.  Should get to it sometime this weekend I'm thinking.
