301  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fury vs Joshua --- who will win? on: December 14, 2020, 08:18:11 AM
It's very interesting to see how Fury dominate the poll even though he beat Pulev in a quite brutal way maybe because we voters that Fury is better because he beat Wilder in his prime, while Pulev is an aged fighter who is just a shadow of himself, I don't know if this will be the case before the fight where Fury is the huge favorite.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 14, 2020, 02:55:07 AM
I've recently created a discussion about the odds of various outcomes and the gaps between the likely winner and other options, but some replies raised another questions that I believe is worthy of being discussed. When placing bets on sports, I rely heavily on the odds, especially if someone has a very high probability of winning, like here:

But of course when the odds are close to one another (2.5, 3.1 and similar), I try to rely on the history of matches between the teams and recent wins/losses of the teams.
What do you follow when you are betting on sports: is it the odds or your knowledge and experience? Or maybe you're one of those people who bet on the favorite team or perhaps follows a gut? Do odds even matter to you? If yes, how important are they for your final decision?

Odds are an indication of the chances but every depends on you if you know the sports that you are betting your decision is all that matters, odds are good for comparison, not all odds are perfect it's like a speculation in the market, so always do due diligence first, it's your money anyway.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: Cause of Covid Vaccine and it's Value on: December 13, 2020, 02:49:29 PM
To reduce the spread of the covid 19 virus, we need a vaccine, and now there are some vaccines ready to be released on the market this coming year 2021.

In my country there are some barangays/places to be vaccinated first. The question is, is it safe? What will be the effect on the person being injected?

You can trace the fear of people to its possible effect. There are people interviewed who really do not want to get vaccinated out of fear. Even me, I have doubt on this vaccine after what happened to the Dengvaxia vaccine which caused the deaths of some children's here in our country.

People have no choice but to get vaccinated or they are always on risk of getting infected, get hospitalized and get intubated, they have to take what option they want to take, if they have the money and they can get hospitalized for CoVid  because they want to vaccinated then go for that option.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Screenshot of Satoshi's last post on this forum on: December 13, 2020, 12:26:19 PM
Yesterday 10 years ago, Satoshi made his last post and today was his last visit to this site 10 years ago. So many rumors go that Satoshi still visits this community and other cryptocurrency communities. A user on Twitter also commented that the best thing Satoshi did wasn't to invent bitcoin but moving away afterwards.

If he is alive today I don't know if he is tempted to log in or create another another account and tell us his thoughts about Bitcoin achievement what he thinks of the achievement and what his works has gone through and if he additional input in his works, that will generate interest, but I guess we are better than if he is around, I don't know the scenario if he is still around.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev - JOSHUA WINS IN ROUND 9 on: December 13, 2020, 08:37:22 AM

Again, still boils down to the arbitration, if the mediator see that and mandated a Fury vs Wilder first, then Joshua vs Fury might wait for a bit. (Fury needs to win against Wilder though).
Promoters should understand that there is huge money and interest that will generate if the Joshua - Fury happens than the Fury Wilder 3, fans especially the British people wants to see who is the greatest British heavyweight boxer and probably the greatest boxer of this generation, so much is at stake on this fight, then the Fury Wilder trilogy.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 12, 2020, 11:58:45 PM

I don't see blockchain games to be that attractive.

I don't see it either, people are gambling on two things they want to be entertained and they want to win depends on the priority the players, will opted to play in casino with many games like dice slot baccarat poker, something that your site is not offering to their clients, you can get some players who's main goal is just to win money.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price increasing slowly. on: December 12, 2020, 03:53:37 PM
After a slippery week once again BTC is slowly gearing up is this the last resistance level of the year? Right now the market capitalization is healthy and that's why we are seeing some positive trends also i' ve been watching the price of BTC pumps most of the times only In the weekends, Is this means there is a surprise for crypto industry? Guys share your thoughts Cool

I like to believe there's a big surprise coming investors and hodlers should keep their hopes alive it's still 19 days to go and so many things are still going to happen just like what happen in the last day of November, where we experienced a big pump as long as Bitcoin is the $18000 level there's still hope for another all time high.
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 12, 2020, 02:15:51 PM

Yes the government are now looking at the online gambling to have some extra revenue I think this is not the first time I read about this kind of topic I think I've read already two or three same topic already from different countries.

They have seen what online gaming can do at the times of pandemic, they are the only profitable industry and they contributed a lot to the government because of their taxes, so countries has seen these opportunity and they are enacting laws that will support these industries because they also can make profit from online gambling revenues in the form of taxes.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: Sweden Explores Moving to a Digital Currency on: December 12, 2020, 10:57:13 AM
Sweden is not the only one and this will be the trend that is going to happen countries are going to use their digital cash, a digital cash that they can control, they are not likely to use Bitcoin because they cannot control it and just prefer to use their own and although you are right that t will be Bitcoin's competitor in some way but it will always validate that Cryptocurrency is here to stay and Bitcoin is it's main product.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Surpass ETHEREUM SOON?! $589 per XRP💥🚀 on: December 12, 2020, 03:33:13 AM
I did not bother to check the video and the article you just have to check the price history and the volume and you'll get the answer, XRP price is not moving at all in the last three years there was pump but not a big pump the only time it get pump big time was the announcement of the flare token but not enough to get the price to $1.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 11, 2020, 10:32:33 PM
I think America is the country with the most gambling activities, because Las Vegas is the best place in the world to play gambling.
Even though I have never played gambling in Las Vegas, I can find out about it from articles on the internet, videos on YouTube and
several Hollywood movies with many themes of gambling in Las Vegas. Maybe from the list of countries mentioned in the opening post,
I am quite surprised that Australia is one of the countries with  the highest gambling activities, I didn't expect many Australians to like
gambling.

It should be on the top list because it is the mecca of entertainment but it's nowhere in the top 3 and Australia is a such a big surprise they are on the top of the list, this is the first time I heard that Australian people are very much into gambling i just thought they are only good in drinking beer but they do spend a lot of ingambling.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How do you distribute your portfolio? BTC vs Altcoins on: December 11, 2020, 12:06:05 PM
How many percent do you keep in BTC versus altcoins?

Atm I have 35% BTC then a big chunk of ETH and a handfull of other altcoins (see distribution below)

https://altpocket.io/profile/Octular

BTC feels much safer at the same time as I see a big upside in the altcoins compared to historical levels.

Since I am part of Bitvest I have 50% of my portfolio on Bitcoin it should be higher because this is the best time to increase your Bitcoin portfolio
it's also good to have altcoins in your wallet because some altcoins has a good chance in times of bull run I have at least 10 altcoins in my portfolio.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 11, 2020, 05:09:11 AM
Before I comment here I checked the price and here it is $17,990.07 this is the lowest this week and and could even go lower, this is unexpected we are hoping for at least $19500 but we are now below $18000 but I am very optimistic that before the year ends we'll still cross the $19000 level, there's still a lot to happen this 20 days, let's see how things will play out.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 11, 2020, 03:21:48 AM
Of course, this is more on money exhibition fight here.  Tongue Did they disclose where the proceeds will go? At least make this exhibition fight a worthwhile one for others.
This is going to be the trend because of the success of the Tyson - Jones match, but I doubt this is going to match the success of the Tyson Jones match, Mayweather just want to make money here, he do not want to get hurt here and he will just use his hit and run tactics extensively, this is easy money for both because there is no at stakes on this fight.
315  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is why btc will die as a crypto on: December 10, 2020, 02:03:18 PM
You've just send it at the wrong time when Bitcoin transactions is at it's highest, I just made a transaction 3 times today with a small fee and it all went in just ten minutes, Bitcoin will not die because of this issue alone, it's the first peer to peer in anonymity and the one coin that started a  no third party transaction.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it December a good time to invest in new ICOS? on: December 10, 2020, 12:03:57 PM
Smiley Smiley Until now,  ICOs market is unstable because the scams, also I readed in many fórums that December is a good month to invest in ICOs, because people are saving money to invest in crypto, actually i dont have so much money to invest, do you think December is a good time to invest in new ICOs projects?   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Nope and I don't recommend that you invest in ICO unless that ICO looks highly potential in all aspect, December is rather a good time to invest on the top coin in the market, especially now that we are in a bull run and we've just had a halving, it's not preferable to invest in ICO anymore concentrate on coins that are already in the market and have proven their worth.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: I did some research Biden will make crypto and Usdc coin great on: December 10, 2020, 11:17:16 AM
Biden is Going to make crypto to shine in usa.
And will make the USDC to great.
I did some research USA Economy will in full ethereum and USDC , so USA dollar will be on ethereum platform and vitalic bute will be the most important person about USA dollar.

You've done your research, every research should have a resource or information to support your research if you cannot show that you are just shilling both USDC and Ethereum I don't see any discussion and a link coming from reputable article sites that Biden is fully supporting stable coin and Ethereum, and besides Vitalik is already a very important no need to praise him.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 10, 2020, 09:47:10 AM

My company made a huge investment in adopting systems such as remote meeting places, cloud systems that help organizing documents and a way of eliminating paperwork... I believe that this is going to increase the productivity of the employees especially if those go back to work.

Have you seen any changes in your working environment like these?
Not only companies but the government as well in fact here in our country our government is the first one that implement cashless transaction and and Zoom online  teleconference, and they encourage companies and private individuals to do the same, after the pandemic the new contact less system will still implemented, because we never know if another pandemic is looming.
319  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 10, 2020, 03:10:29 AM
In this pandemic situation, many people have lost their jobs. For our better future, we should maintain plan B and C so that we can depend on it. Only our main job is not sufficient to lead our life.

I have a lot of friends who have a plan a, b and c but unfortunately they are dependent on the economy of my country, they lose everything because of the pandemic, nobody thought that in times of pandemic only those working online and those who are working in the government that delivers basic needs can survive, their business are catering, party hosting and transportation but all are shutout because of the pandemic.
320  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 02:27:11 AM
I wont make it be scam accusation for website Primedice, since I'm believe Primedice wont scam for such amount my money.
I believe they will not, they will not build a reputation for issues about scamming their players even if it's a big amount they are not the only one who've asked about KYC this is the industry practice, this applies to all their gamblers

Quote
Deposit into Primedice just like put your money into prison. Smiley

Now they have my money even my personal ID Smiley
It's to early to tell that, let them give their side first they are compliant so they expect their players to be compliant also
