301  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain Adoption Is Pushing Up Salaries for Related Jobs on: January 15, 2019, 03:58:23 PM
2018 saw a sharp adoption by many major corporations to build new systems around the distributed ledger technologies. A new report indicates that because of the increased interest in these technologies, pays are rising for blockchain developers and other blockchain related roles.

https://all-stocks.net/industry-wide-blockchain-adoption-is-pushing-up-salaries-for-related-jobs/

It is, like every other new technology. But you must keep in mind that the field is too narrow.
It's like the AI specialists - the demand is huge and they are taking almost all of them directly from the Uni, still how many do you think are they? And because everybody wants a good paycheck, in few years there will be a huge competition even there. It's a goldmine only for early adopter specialists.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can DeepOnion hit ATH again? on: January 10, 2019, 02:36:45 PM
I was an early investor and made a quite good amount from DeepOnion last year. But unfortunately, I have invested again in July possibly and now I am in loss although, overall, I am in profit. Recently, in the dip I had bought more.
Its ATH was $17+. Is it possible to reach at ATH again from the current situation? The only reason I like this coin because of its active DEV team. They are very hard working.

DeepOnion died at the moment they stopped the so called airdrop in form of staking and signature campaign. The staking was giving great dividends, but after that it was pointless to own DO.

So, no, DO will never hit ATH again. I would be genuine surprised if it ever pass the $1 mark again.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: World’s 23rd Richest Man Invests in Cryptocurrency Exchange Bakkt’s First Fundin on: January 10, 2019, 12:24:02 PM
I read that Bakkt already collected more than 90M in the first round only from serious players and names. Still, the project is not open for small fishes like us and we could only watch will they manage to start.

If Bakkt launch their trading platform for real in next few months, it could easily lead to huge bull run.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019? on: January 10, 2019, 10:14:26 AM
Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019?

I converted most of my altcoin into BNB and I plan to wait 2-3 month and see where will the cryptomarket be.
At this point, I don't like any particular current alt. Maybe one or two new projects, but that's all. Alts are at current BTC peak and the best options is to wait.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Basic attention token Speculations !!!!!! on: January 09, 2019, 10:52:05 PM
Guy, what do you think BAT will be ever 10$ or possibly in next 2-3 years Huh? Smiley Smiley

Nope and I'm trying to avoid BAT in my trading habits.
Every week or two, there is a giant selling wall in EtherDelta by BAT. By giant, I mean millions of tokens for thousands of ETH. I don't know who is selling so badly, but this is a sure trouble sign for me.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto still be in 2050? on: January 09, 2019, 10:10:58 PM
I hope I will be alive to see it with my own eyes Smiley

It would be a pure speculation and nothing else to predict a tech stuff for 30 years in the future. Just look 30 years back and their predictions... I'm sure in one thing - the crypto-currencies, if they even exist, will be in a completely different manner than now and will use some quantum resistant algorithm. Current BTC, ETH, etc algorithms will be obsolete from a long time.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: You were warned on: January 09, 2019, 08:56:37 PM
Lately everyone is talking about new finance crisis. But I think it's still early.
World finances are going into wrong direction and there is a huge need of 'clearance', but not now. My prediction is that there will be a new crisis in 2-3 years.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tycoon69 - Scam? on: January 04, 2019, 09:42:45 PM
Hi, I see a lot of hype about Tycoon69. Have you already hear about it?
It is some blockchain based bank, that stores gold or what.. For me it looks fishy, but many people are talking about it.
It is a scam or legit project?
Thanks!

It's sounds like a scam for me, like a MLM ICO.

When you see stuff like "OUR COACHING & TRAINING PROGRAM" and add MLM, it's almost always a scam.
I'm staying away from this and I suggest you to do the same.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will we see IOTA back in top 10? on: January 04, 2019, 09:19:24 PM
As much as I love IOTA , I don't think we will see it again in Top 10.

They just lost the innertion with this slow development and new projects are gaining power. For example, I'm trying now to focus my attention only on new projects.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla Stock on a Blockchain allows investors to trade in USA stock market shares on: January 04, 2019, 08:50:31 PM

SEC won't be happy
It's very easy to shut down the blockchain company. Or at least to cut their access to stocks.

They are trying to swim with a big fishes:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cede_and_Company

"Cede technically owns substantially all of the publicly issued stock in the United States.[2] Thus, investors do not themselves hold direct property rights in stock, but rather have contractual rights that are part of a chain of contractual rights involving Cede."

311  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3k range the new $6k range? on: January 04, 2019, 07:59:55 PM
For two months the price stayed in an uncharacteristicaly stable range in the mid $6ks, before the price was very quickly crashed into half, down into the $3ks. Do you think this same stability has begun to form over the next couple months in the mid $3ks? if so, will price break upwards to end this stable range or downwards, as it did last November?

It's look that. 3-4 is the new stable range for now. I just hope to not see another plunge to the 'new stable' range of 1.5-2K.

My hopes are to see some upward movements in Q2-Q3 this year with ICO market recovery.
312  Economy / Economics / Re: The Denationalization of Money by Hayek on: January 03, 2019, 06:49:38 PM
What do you think about Hayeks The Denationalization of Money ideas -  do you find them too utopian?
Anyway, i was quoting his work in my Master thesis and one professor at my uni was very skeptical if Hayek would consider Cryptocurrencies as money and therfore i shouldn't apply it to my work. One of his main also arguments was that in Hayek's theory he considers money to be issued by some institution which has to keep the quality of currency because of free market forces.

This kind of argument doesn't work imo because in crypto we have the whole network of miners who also have an incentive for issuing quality improvements. What is your opinion on this and what arguments would you use in disscusion with old-school professor?

It was an utopia in 1976. But now... We are going there slowly but for sure. Every coin is kind of 'private issued moneys'.
And I like it. It's much better than FR to print me dollars day after day.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be a battle for Ethereum and Ripple all throughout 2019 for second spot on: January 03, 2019, 04:51:04 PM
Ethereum just regained its second spot after Ripple wrestled the second spot but the gap is to close, do you think we will have a battle royale for the two coins for the whole 2019 and who will remain the victor, or a new one will emerge to surpass this two coins?

For me it's completely irreverent which coin is on 2nd and which on 3rd place.
Ethereum is  a great projects with thousands of ICO project behind and Ripple is not even a real crypto currency.
If you are looking to support one of those, ETH is the only choice.
314  Economy / Gambling / Re: e͏t͏h͏e͏r͏c͏r͏a͏s͏h.ισ | 0-1% house edge | ETH & BTC Accepted 🏅 on: January 03, 2019, 04:29:39 PM
Hi, I would like to ask how are the investments going? Maybe showing the stats will attract more users. Thank you in advance.
We have a stats page showing the total profit (house 0.175% fee + investors profit) at: https://www.ethercrash.io/stats

Hello,

According to your stats, e͏t͏h͏e͏r͏c͏r͏a͏s͏h won ~ 1431 Ethers for 3 months and thats HUGE! More over when the max bet was under 2 ETH.
Is there a way to check that  the cited turnover is real and not made of fake bets to attract investors?

Congrats! You've hit a pretty impressive parlay!

Do you use some tipster services or you are picking the games? Because it's very hard to find 10 winners alone.

With you luck in 2019!
316  Economy / Economics / Re: When traditional markets fall, alternative markets fall harder on: January 02, 2019, 03:18:49 PM
This is not always true and solely depends on region.

Take for example Venezuela or other problematic regions. When their economics are collapsing, the Bitcoin price is bulling and the 'local' Bitcoin price is skyrocketing. I think if we see another 2008 like crisis, the Bitcoin will hit new AHT very very quickly.
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC is equal to 10347 dollars on: January 02, 2019, 02:12:39 PM
Calculate the real value of Bitcoin is not so difficult.
Take the actual data for open countries. The volume of money supply M1, M2, M3. The number of outlets that serve this currency. And we enter the capitalization of the currency as a whole.
Statistical data and calculation algorithm with links to sources, described in a separate article https://medium.com/@igormoseich/cost-of-the-bitcoin-a2d5d360a8bf
Today I am getting economically - the reasonable price of one Bitcoin is 10347 dollars.
Everything else is from speculators.
And definitely, the rate of Bitcoin will grow over time.
The only thing that I did not take into account in my calculations is the correction coefficient for restricting the circulation of Bitcoin, which unfortunately operates in many countries.

Complete non-sense. Statistical data and calculation algorithm... bla bla bla

The real value of Bitcoin (and any other product/service) is what client/buyer is ready to pay. Everything else is just speculation. Opinion at best. Too many people nowadays are taking finance decision on opinions, but facts.
318  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker studying (Hand reviews) on: December 30, 2018, 09:06:33 PM
Since I'm new here, I thought of something to give to the community.

I'm a winning mid-high stakes reg, (up over $120k in lifetime earnings).

Over the past years I've developed a good sense of the game, and I'd say I'm now at the point where I can teach others a thing or two.

So, if you're interested in bringing your poker game to the next level, send me hands that you've played where you questioned your decisions, or if you have any questions feel free to ask them, either via private messages, or via a reply on this thread!

Edit : Free of charge!

Online poker is in close to dead state. You cant find any crypto poker room with mid-stakes action and more than 1 open table. I've checked it all.

I suggest you to try twoplustwo for HH discussion. There you will get a lot more action on your posts.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia altcoins on: December 28, 2018, 05:31:30 PM
Interesting.

I think that the Russian Government is going to recognise it because it's going after taxes.  And this is Good! China may follow them and then we will easily see Bitcoin at $10000 again! Let's hope that they will not introduce very high taxes on crypto-currencies and completely kill the national market.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tomocoin ICO - my review on: December 28, 2018, 03:10:29 PM
