401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: August 03, 2018, 10:17:00 PM
NEO beats Ethereum on several fronts. But Ethereum already is an established platform. And Ethereum will close the gap with its scaling plans in the future.  However, I do think that NEO has a lot more room to grow, even if it can’t fully compete with Ethereum.

I have a great faith in NEO. I believe that it is great project and fave a bright future ahead, but I don't like this comparing to Ethereum all the time, because it is not in NEOs favor. Ethereum has been around for a while and it is already popular and strong. It is not fair fight.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you find a good bounty campaign? on: August 03, 2018, 10:14:05 PM
My initial step to doing this is to find as much information as possible about the project, from bitcointalk forums, rating sites (ico bench or icodrops), and telegram groups. This is all just to minimize scam projects, because some projects that I take for granted, are very promising in the future.

I am also looking for information wherever I can find it, but I don't have much faith in rating sites. I believe that the bounty manager is more important and I care a lot more for it than the ratings that sometimes are sold for fee.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you tell people? on: August 02, 2018, 10:37:05 PM
People do not believe in crypto currency.  They say that crypto is not fixed.  As fiat - gold.  Where does the value of crypts come from?  What do you tell people?

I am usually explaining that crypto market is pure market. The prices are formed by demand and supply only. When a project is doing well and develop and so on the demand is growing and the supply is the same. This is pushing the price up. When a lop of people are unloading their coins the price go down. There are no laws and central banks to control the process.
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All my money in 1 altcoin - Too risky? on: August 01, 2018, 10:12:13 PM
Never put all your eggs in one basket. It's risky. Better split your investment in several altcoins. For example buy bitcoin, ethereum and after some altcoins what you want

You are right, this is the wise move, but they never listen. They find a coin read some srticle that says this is the new Bitcoin, out all the money in something that is $0.01 and expect to see it $1000 in a year. After 6 months the thing just died and everybody is wondering how did this happen and where are my money?
Diversifying reduce the profit, but protect the whole investment.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Green market on: August 01, 2018, 10:08:32 PM
Apparently, we will not see a green market this year since a stable decline in the crypto-currency market has begun.
it is true because in this year the market is like a hard-hit curse once the market becomes green for a long time, and in this year that often happens instead the market becomes red continues

I think that the situation on the market is as  a result of the big run we had in the end of 2017. No one is complaining when we have a big grow, but everybody is crying now. Check the price of Bitcoin a year ago.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: July 31, 2018, 10:18:01 PM
There is absolutely no doubt that Ethereum is part if the future of crypto. But I don't agree that Bitcoin is it not. So far this two coins have been leading the crypto and I see no reason for change.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: July 31, 2018, 10:12:09 PM
KYC should only be required for transactions over a certain limit not for airdrops that are generally worth a very small amount

You're taking a big risk providing your identity documents to unknown parties especially if the project turns out to be a scam so always be cautious you investigate the project thoroughly before doing so

You are right, KYC should be used for transactions over certain amount only, because no one need to wash $100 for example.
KYC for Airdrops screams scam from miles away. Stay away from projects like that.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: July 29, 2018, 09:42:03 PM
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.
Now, I want to ask about what potential ADA has? you are saying that the ADA has the potential to be worth for 1/10 ETH, I think it's interesting to discuss, because I just follow some news and ADA is quite the current hype. I recently heard that cardano community (ADA) spread in China and San Francisco.

I have invested in Cardano a while ago and have really big hopes for it long term. I don't see it so expensive any time soon if ever get to 10% of Ethereums price.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: July 29, 2018, 09:40:08 PM
As far as I know the EOS project today really exceeds the ETH project on the speed of transactions, this is a very important argument that has a serious role in crypto-currencies. I think that EOS will be the first in the near future.

I doubt that EOS will ever be better than Ethereum in any way. Ethereums network is a lot busier, but I don't think that the speed will be the the most important factor.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just RELAX, it will be OK! on: July 28, 2018, 10:16:36 PM
Why are people panic selling right now? Scared of a little regulation? That is bull! G20? All they might do is AML prevention. If you are not laundering money, nothing will happen to you!! And we don't want money launders in our midst anyway! Chillax, it will be OK!
Relaxing is a good advice for sure. I don’t think that it is necessary to be too worried and find the way how to sell coins of yours. Don’t be afraid to hold coins as much as it possible until the growth will started.

You are absolutely right, but the problem comes of the greedy players who invested everything they have with the hope to become rich quickly. Very few people follow one of the most important rules. Invest only what you are prepared to lose,
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto will be mainstream in a few years on: July 28, 2018, 10:14:05 PM
If crypto will be in great demand in the future, then we will have many types of coins. These coins will change our lives. Cryptocurrency will become popular in a few years, then cryptocurrency will be used extensively or in daily transactions

I am afraid that you are a little too optimistic, but I hope that you are right. Crypto have to become more popular among the average people and need more people to get involved, this is the way to become mainstream in few years.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should buy and hold NEO? on: July 26, 2018, 11:40:10 PM
In my opinion NEO is very much undervalued at the moment. This may be, because if the low market situation, but I know that NEO should be worth three times the price now. NEO is excellent choose to buy now and hold for a long time, so don't hesitate any more and do it.
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: July 25, 2018, 10:42:21 PM
It is primarily dangerous for those who are too risky and can put all the money in trading..

What you are talking is the personal weakness. Crypto will just give the opportunity and week people can do stupid things. Crypto is not more dangerous as any car or a tool which are very helpful in everyday activities, but can do harm in the wrong persons hands.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: July 24, 2018, 11:07:45 PM
It seems that Ethereum is loosing the battle with EOS. There is a big attack on Ethereum because everybody wants to replace the leader of smart-contracts and dApps.

This is not only not true, this is also sad. EOS has a lot of problems and we don't know yet does it really have a potential or is just a speculations. Ethereum is one of the best coins and industry leaders. EOS is not even close to Ethereum.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2000 Ripple or 5000 Сardano? on: July 24, 2018, 11:04:23 PM
Absolutely pointless to compare this two. Cardano is good project that will show a good profit and Ripple is just a tool for the banks to rip people off.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: July 22, 2018, 10:47:32 PM
With the latest events and with such a frequency of data leakage, I think that it is not the best offer to trust your data to outsiders, but on the other hand, it is necessary.

In my opinion, usually is not  data leakage, but intentional sell. I am very sceptical about KYC on first place, but when I see KYC for a bounty hunters or Airdrops it screens Problem! in my head. They don't need your data, they want it, and this is huge difference.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is burning of unsold tokens is good for ICO???? on: July 22, 2018, 10:36:51 PM
Burning unsold tokens is very good and I think that is necessary, because the number of unsold tokens can harmful for the prices from one side and can be used to manimupale the price from other side. The unsold tokens are pulling the price back and hurt the investors.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: July 21, 2018, 10:39:40 PM
To some extent the ratings provided can be taken into consideration, because based on several factors they make the rating such as the real time usage and so on. In the mean time ico's going as a scam even the project getting high ratings were the failure from the developer end for which we cannot blame the ICO rating people.

The ratings could be taken into consideration, but lightly. Unfortunately lately I see a lot more ratings that are not spot on and honestly not very clever. I still read them, but they are not what they use to be.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: July 21, 2018, 10:33:35 PM
Bill Gates says CryptoCurrency is bad. but I think Bill Gates is thinking wrong. because CryptoCurrency offers a chance to earn income for unemployed people. Microsoft is a global company and monopoly in the world. Microsoft does not allow other companies to grow.

Well, when Bill Gates started Microsoft they were not the biggest in the world and he build it. He is rich and famous. He pays taxes and is afraid of everything that it is not under the same regulations. I understand him, he says nothing bad about crypto.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you think younger generation is more open to technology? on: July 18, 2018, 10:47:22 PM
Yes, I believe younger generation is open minded and it is easier to learn something new for them compared to elder generation.
My father can't understand what bitcoin is and he is affected by social media. He keeps thinking that BTC is just ponzi scheme

This is absolutely normal. Back then your grandfather did not understand a lot of stuff that was very clear for your father. Every generation is more technological than the one before.
