301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: August 02, 2017, 08:57:24 PM
Well in the last two days ago bitcoin cash market value have increase from $0 to $1050 on bittrex exchange while  that of the main the main market value of Bitcoin has not reduce rather but move to $2800 at the early hours of today, and that shows bitcoin will keep on increasing. There are speculations in some quarter that holders of bitcoin cash may likely dump bitcoin cash as many of them are on the hit and run mission.
Its impossible that you seen $1050 look at the coinmarketcap here https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/#charts
As you can seen in the  market the maximum price reach by bitcoin cash around $600
Well other people are said that much better to dump those bitcoin cash because its altcoin and not a bitcoin that i think we will see a fast dump  of the price of bitcoin cash because for those who first claimed their own bitcoin cash they already making a large amount of profit if all people will convert into bitcoin..
For me i'll stay using bitcoin and i think much safier to hold bitcoin that bitcoin cash i just heard there are still issue claiming bcc in electron cash wallet. .
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What BCC wallet are safe to import electrum private keys? on: August 02, 2017, 08:04:18 PM
I believe that the safer is the BitcoinABC node itself. But you would require to download the whole blockchain before making use of the software.

Or I would recommend you to do the following process posted by Electrum team:

Quote
Therefore, users who want to run the Electron Cash binaries should do
it on a separate same machine, that does not have their Bitcoin
wallet. We recommend to proceed as follows:

 1. Install Electrum Cash on a machine that does not have your
 Electrum wallets.

 2. Wait until the BCC hard fork has taken place, and a few BCC blocks
 have been mined.

 3. Move all your Electrum funds to a new Electrum wallet. This will
move only your BTC, and not your BCC, because the BCC blockchain has
replay protection. Wait until the transaction is confirmed.

 4. Enter the seed of your (now empty) old wallet or private keys in
Electron Cash. Since the BTC have been moved to a new wallet,
entering your old seed in Electron Cash will not put your BTC funds
 at risk.

Following these 4 easy steps you will be able to access your BCC
without compromising your BTC.
Source: https://electrum.org/bcc2.txt
Looks more safety than using electron cash wallet but i was confused about number 4 is t electron cash or electrum cash
Because there are some members here their bitcoin was gone after importing the private keys into electron cash.
Since they didn't transfer their bitcoin do you think they can be still recover it or we should  transfer first bitcoin to the other bitcoin wallet just to be safe like the method above and wait to confirm?
303  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Anyone used Electron Cash Successfully? on: August 02, 2017, 07:52:33 PM
I recommend to better to wait more time and wait for some bitcoin holders to clarify if they can successfully redeem their BCC.
For safety looks like there are still no bitcoin holders are already claimed their bcc and hope someone can give us tips if what wallet should be the best to choose or if this electron cash is much better to use..
For me for now i am still confused to claim my bcc but i'll still research and waiting for the answer if what wallet is the best to choose in their listed wallets for bcc..
304  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Claiming Bitcoin Cash with Electrum Wallet on: August 02, 2017, 07:08:56 PM
so anyone have an idea which BCC wallet should I use? I am not going to use electron cash.
Better to check this bitcoincash.org
You can see all wallet supported but i don't guaranteed if you can get your bcc right now since i heard that some wallet is scam and i think better to wait more days before you claim your bcc and if its clarified that the there is a safe wallet to use for bcc and to import private keys. .
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What BCC wallet are safe to import electrum private keys? on: August 02, 2017, 06:17:51 PM
What BCC wallet do you think are safe to import private keys from electrum wallet just to claim the bcc?
I was read some thread in speculation section and some other said electron wallet is not safe to import and they will get all of your bitcoins..
Can you suggest a trusted wallet thanks ..

I found the list of wallets here bitcoincash.org but i don't know if wallet much safety to use to save bcc?
306  Economy / Web Wallets / Is it possible to claim BCC in Coins.ph wallet? on: August 02, 2017, 05:57:34 PM
I just want to know if coins.ph wallet can give BCC for free if you are holding BTC?
I since in some exchange site are giving bcc if you are holding your bitcoins there..
I just confused is it free or do i need to exchange btc to bcc?
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: August 01, 2017, 12:00:31 AM
I'll vote to may weather because he can stay long in the inside the rich remember pacman vs mayweather he can stay long in the battle field
And i think he has long stamina that i think much stronger than mcgregor..

That is the problem. Floyd Mayweather also has a plan until he himself is also hit in the face. They are both human but Conor is stronger, bigger and in his peak while Floyd is older and he is risking himself to lose for the first time against a nonboxer of all people.

Does this mean MMA is better than boxing?
In a real fighting situation MMA is always better,it is always good to learn some sort of martial arts to survive and if a boxer faces a MMA fighter in the streets it is guaranteed that MMA will win as boxing is just a stand up limited fight and MMA fighter will take you down and ground and pound and designs your face.
Boxing is definitely for entertainment purpose only but it does improve your strength and skills to defend yourself as well, you will get physically fit when as it requires you to be strong while you are learning boxing. But going back to the main topic, it's pretty obvious that Mayweather is the king of boxing now and since this game is played on his forte, he should win this game.
I agree that MMA would be better if you need to fight in the streets because it utilizes and takes advantage of all your body parts. In boxing, you are only allowed to use your hands to punch and in a street fight, there are no rules. We will see when the fight is happening already to see if the people are right or wrong with their predictions, I just hope whoever you put your money into, you could win.
I think we are talking about boxing..  not a street fighting..
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: To sell all?? on: July 31, 2017, 11:48:00 PM
Selling all your coins may be regretful.
I thought about it lot many times when I lost my patience. But it doesn't worth to sell all. I'm sure. Just sell part that you can't accept to lose.
There is a moral which is known as "Don't give up". So I will say that don't give up. Sell your bitcoin when it is reached trice above then your invested income because it would be great for you if you have invested yesterday a now selling so I would say that you are the foolish one.

There are certain fees on bitcoin which will bring to less than your income so kindly wait for a month if you can. If you are losing the patience then you are losing yourself. So I would say that go ahead and invest into bitcoin that you will get a good fruit from bitcoin. Because selling can cause you but holding can give you a huge difference even it can change your life.

Yes ofcouse. Don't sell your holding bitcoin every week. Why because it will give you only less Profit. If you keep your bitcoin for long means. For example a month, then you will get very huge. It will give you a thrice profit as compared to weekly profit. You have give some money for trading also. Also think about that.

You are in right path man.Selling all the holding bitcoin is like madness. If you have a doubt or fear means sell half of your bitcoin with today price and get some Profit. Then sell the remaining after August 1,at that time the may double or triple of today's rate.Sell that remaining on that time. You also get some additional profit .
Not a good idea better to hold them both no half and much better whole of your bitcoin better to hold and wait we will see the burst increase of the price soon since they already tested segwit before now we will see the good segwit feature after august 1 that i think you can see almost all can get the benefits fast transaction less fee for every transaction.. that it will be different from the past few months ..
That can i think it can increase the value of bitcoin and more people will stay or will use bitcoin back because of this new feature and lighting transaction speed..
So if you sell right now regret soon..
309  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Easier way to buy BTC directly (avoiding the middle men)? on: July 31, 2017, 11:44:15 PM
If you are in the same country as mine here you can buy bitcoin instantly without asking too much about your information.. it will be easily to buy bitcoins if there is a local company are offering to buy bitcoins in your country.. like in india they had zebpay to buy bitcoins easily or like in philippines you can buy bitcoins here just to set your account and deposit without asking any information its instant and for coinbase is for us or any supported country but its asking for your identity first and bank account or debit card before you can buy..
Other than that  i never heard other site that actually giving you instant if you are not living in the same country.. better to share with us where you live..
310  Economy / Securities / Re: How do you decide which ICO to invest in? on: July 31, 2017, 11:33:40 PM
Well for me when choosing an ICO i still just checking first the promotion roadmap background how owners trusted.
And 2/10 only are legit ICO that i think can stay long in the market and gives you profit that is why other recommend to invest already in the top 20 rankings in coinmarketcap.. Because its really hard to know if what are ICO are giving you a good profit most of scam coin can be look like a legit coin..
So for me better to invest in the top 20 altcoin instead of ICO but you can be still invest it will be still depends in your own way how to know the legit one ..
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) price tomorrow gon' be like..... on: July 31, 2017, 11:16:41 PM
BCC is useless they people are still stay use bitcoin instead of bitcoin cash.. since bitcoin is already been successful many years so  i think other people and investors you can't move those people to the other new made coin that actually will experience new bugs that already experience of bitcoin..
So expect that many people will dump BCC good luck for those who holding BCC i'll stay safe in bitcoin .
312  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: July 28, 2017, 11:57:24 PM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
If I would be ask, I will surely and gladly hold into my bitcoin since I do not see any threats or reasons yet to cash out my bitcoin and also I still believe that in no time everything will come back to normal even the price value of bitcoin will pump to its highest value that we can think. Still hoping and expecting for an increase in its value. But the decision will be still depending on the situation but I will still hold some and cash out some for assurance.
Since developers are just doing to improve bitcoin i think what will happen in august 1 is just a feature that they are surely believe that bitcoin will improve the use of bitcoin. Such as speed of transaction and less fee.. and other improvement that can help by segwit activation. .
So holding bitcoin is always the best choice if you really want to have an investment and make a good profit because anytime soon the price can be sky rocket and increase its value.. if you sell you lose the opportunity to make profit..
313  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get activity points on posting in the Off-Topic Thread? on: July 28, 2017, 11:45:41 PM
I think you can be still get activity there you can try since you are still had 3 activity post there even just 1 and we will see if your activity will increase or not..
And i think it will be increase even you are posting in different threads. but the activity update is happen every 2 weeks or 14 days..
If you actively posting here in forum you can only get 14 activity every 2 weeks. .

Hi, I'm a Newbie too but I read the rules and they say not to post anything on the Off-Topic's thread. A friend of mine also told me to try not to post anything there, so don't do it  (or try not to) Wink
I think its not a problem posting in off topic maybe they are just talking about if you are join in signature campaign you should not posting in off topic because the post you made there are not counted all signature campaign are not paying in that section..
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The meaning of BTC+BCC=$3000 on: July 28, 2017, 11:11:03 PM
Is it a coincidence current bitcoin price ($2573) plus the speculated price of the upcoming bitcoin cash ($453) is just above bitcoin all time high (Combined $3026 compared to all time high approx $3000)?

Is the valuation of bitcoin cash already included in current bitcoin price? If that's the case, then it might not change much on aug 1. My experience is that known upcoming events often are included in price long before it actually happen.

you are computing it before the fork event.
no one shall know what will do after the fork...
you could have BTC+BCC=6000$ or BTC+BCC=60$
no one can know it

Yes, we do not know for sure about the price, but it's likely that bitcoin price will increase and BCC may has huge dump or stuck somewhere until people realize if it is a good coin, maybe yes or maybe no at all.
During this week after BCC news has been spread widely but it has no significant impact for bitcoin price, even though it had dropped slightly around $2500 but bitcoin price already recover again over $2700, it may reach $3000 on August.
It should be increase more than we expected and i think they should relay what is the present price if they included the BCC
Since they are just hard fork and use as solution for bitcoin i think they don't let the price affected about bitcoin cash..
So this coming august 1 expect that the price of bitcoin will increase more above $3k value..
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbook and bonus : i have question on: July 28, 2017, 11:04:59 PM
Hello sorry for my english ( im french ) i have a lot of question about  the bonus sportsbook,  when we unlock the bonus,  can it be withdraw   instantly ?  , does it easy to get the bonus ?

Its impossible to withdraw it just to get the bonus you need to wagered something depends if what they give a rule..
Just in other site that actually they are giving 0.01 btc as bonus but you need to wagered 0.5 before you can get all of your bonuses..
Except if the owner of the site is giving bonus for free but it will never be happen because many gamblers are abusing this and let they use the advantages to make more bonus with different accounts..
So its impossible to get or withdraw it instantly.
316  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice: Should I sell all my altcoins due to BCC and BTC issue? on: July 28, 2017, 12:00:08 AM
Honestly we don't know what will happen in the future if you want to be safe and don't want to lose a lot better to sell it right now just to prevent of losing a lot more.. Or you can hold it and wait for sometime to recover or make a profit before you sell ..
It will be still depends in your own decision and speculation.. but for me for now better to watch and hold them for more time..
Just to be clarify the situation what will be happen.. And its impossible that bitcoin will be back to zero just my opinion.
317  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Coins not appearing in wallet after confirmation on: July 27, 2017, 11:56:42 PM

If its a watching only wallet then you need to import the private key of that address to another wallet which operates normally. Now clarify me things as you are confusing me a bit.

1. This 1.4 Btc you bought two days ago to which wallet did you transfer them and I need to see the transaction ID of such transfer.

If you want to send from the watch only wallet, then here is the guide on how to do it and transfer your amount of bitcoins from your watch only wallet to Ledger Nano S.
http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/coldstorage.html#create-a-watching-only-version-of-your-wallet

And I don't understand why you need a watch only wallet when you have a hardware one ?

Ok thanks, i'll try that and hopefully they'll come through. Is it common that they may go missing then?

The 1.4 BTC i transferred from my coinbase wallet to my Nano S Ledger using the ios app and scanning the receiving QR code on the Nano S Ledger. The transaction shows as confirmed but there aren't any coins in my wallet. I tried doing exactly the same thing again yesterday but with a much smaller amount and they appeared almost immediately, so i have no idea where my 1.4 BTC went.

The transaction ID is: https://blockchain.info/tx/6bbc388dcd1dcf5324fe661034cdc38a424c34bc374d0cf146f7d8599bf9ff46
I think much better for now to backup the private key of the address where you should receive the 1.4 btc and import it in electrum instead use desktop to see also the history of the transaction..
If you are still not seeing your bitcoin in your wallet maybe you have slow internet connection try to connect to a good  better internet connection and maybe its not syncing that is why you can't seen your bitcoin in your bitcoin wallet.
according to the blockchain its already been confirmed and i think your bitcoin should be there..
318  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase -> Nano S Ledger: Coins not appearing? on: July 27, 2017, 11:16:46 PM
You can't lose your coins but I think you might need to post your problem at the Ledger sub-reddit for help from a developer https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/

Others seem to be having the problem also see https://www.reddit.com/r/ledgerwallet/comments/6puo5m/ledger_is_having_errors_and_not_showing_latest/

Hope this helps!

Thanks, that does seem to be very similar to the issue I'm also having - hopefully there's something wrong with their system temporarily then. Will have a look!
Looks like the transaction is already been confirm and according to the address almost 1 btc plus is in this https://blockchain.info/address/12koSJgNGSVWbPfN8G4ZViy3iKpGxPJ1hL
It means its should be inside of your ledger nano you can also export the private keys and import it in electrum. .
Just to see if your bitcoin is there this is much easier
Backup the private keys of this 12koSJgNGSVWbPfN8G4ZViy3iKpGxPJ1hL
And much better to contact the support you can use the contact email from this site https://www.ledgerwallet.com/contact
319  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Situation with btc-e on: July 27, 2017, 11:08:41 PM
what?... wait.. what?!

If I got it right, you want to pay for losses users might have from btc-e?
Why?
And where do you get the money from?

At the moment this looks like scam/phishing.

indeed it's really suspicious,
while Btc-e made a statement that 'they will comeback in a 5-10 days' after finishing everything (which is we should know that will not happen),
this guy made a statement want to pay for losses users?
i just want to remind you guys,
remember about Mt.Gox and after that i found out a lot of people trying to make something like this and they took all of your data.
i prefer to not trust this guy until we can find out what will happen in the future and what should we do.

Hoping that it will not be the same as MT.gox if it will be the same just like other exchange site was hack and crash.. there are possibility that the price of bitcoin can be crash a large amount just like other exchange site every year its happening that there are exchange site are gone and down that affected the bitcoin market a lot..
Hope that it will not happen this time because we are in new level.. expect that it will be big panic for other traders and investors if it will be the same as other exchange site..
320  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I mine btc in easiest way?:) on: July 27, 2017, 11:05:22 PM
