301  Other / Meta / Re: Why is the best forum for BTC discussion impossible to use!? on: October 23, 2013, 03:06:59 PM
Why has the best forum for BTC discussion not deleted this useless thread of rant and DJSKLFJDSLKJDSKFJL yet?
Please use proper English, and calm yourself. Tongue
302  Other / Meta / Re: Have an issue with the forum? Can't post? Registrations disabled? READ THIS! on: October 23, 2013, 03:03:21 PM
It won't.
Well, at least it will for a day or so if people don't mindlessly create new topics Angry
303  Other / Meta / Have an issue with the forum? Can't post? Avatars disabled? READ THIS! on: October 23, 2013, 03:01:18 PM
"You must wait 360 seconds between posts"
This is a newbie restriction that will go away after you've made a few posts. Note that 'posting' includes logging in, searching, and other resource-intensive tasks.
Avatars can't be changed?!
Forum was hacked, still recovering.
"Can I change my username?"
Yes PM theymos.

Hope this will stop the endless spam threads Smiley
304  Other / Meta / Re: ADS on FORUM SHOULD BE PPC on: October 23, 2013, 02:58:19 PM
So we should move to PPC so that you can do click fraud?

if you pre-order bfl products... you'll get/feel it...

Seems very self-centered - the forum (with thousands of members) is not going to change so that you can do click fraud.
305  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Bitcoin Market on: October 18, 2013, 05:14:23 AM
Tor is perfectly safe if downloaded from trusted sources.
I can't say the same about this site - have caution, use escrow and all that.
306  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You are so biased... on: October 18, 2013, 05:11:38 AM
Oh, the alt accounts.
The TradeFortress battle vs. the alt accounts.
The drama (CoinChat/WhiskChat) brought here for no reason.
The spambots.
The hacking.

The giveaways.
The altcoins (better now, though)
Will it all ever stop and just let us talk about Bitcoin?
307  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: freebitcoins.pw - The free Bitcoin site index! on: October 18, 2013, 05:07:49 AM
I feel as if you are a bit biased towards CoinChat Tongue
But otherwise, great site!
308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is about to explode. on: October 18, 2013, 05:06:18 AM
Aw come on - I'm about to sell them...
..and buy back bitcoins.
more bitcoins.
309  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] [0.001 BTC free] [BT++ recomended] DiscussBitcoin - A new Bitcoin forum. on: October 13, 2013, 06:17:48 PM
Can't post (claims the message box is empty),
Can't change signature ('over 250char limit, remove 336 chars'),
Pretty much sucks IMO. Tongue
310  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.13 on: October 13, 2013, 05:34:21 PM
Yay, discussbitcoin integration!

Oh, idea: have a tab at the side of the page which pops open an iframe linking to whiskchat.com Wink so we can chat and read the forums at the same time!

EDIT: Posting, signatures, avatars etc on DiscussBitcoin are broken, so I'll post this here: jackjack should make the CSS include this: http://whiskers75.com/db.css
311  Other / Meta / Re: Someone lowered my trust, I don't know why. What recourse? on: September 28, 2013, 06:09:20 PM
Welcome to the story of whiskers75. We share the same story (well kinda, I didn't spam, just ban evaded)
Note that TF has a thing for ban evading - he REALLY REALLY HATES IT.
I hope you settle in at whiskchat.com better than you did coinchat. :S

hey man, am i invited to??
I see you invited yourself. xD
312  Other / Meta / Re: [REQ] Change vip and donator to realistic prices on: September 28, 2013, 04:00:01 PM
Again?
Apparently the OP did not read the previous threads on this topic.
Saw this topic: AGAIN?!?!?!?!?!?!

*end of thread*

UPDATE: The owner contacted me and fixed it! Props to TradeFortress. (Side note: if you have the same problem with the API, PM me.)
317  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inputs.io screwed up; any good alternatives? on: September 27, 2013, 06:13:18 PM
Let me quote the email which I sent to the owner, TradeFortress, a few minutes ago about how whiskchat.com is not working with it:

First, you nearly lose me all my money [through a bug in the API]. Then, you change your IP. Now, you're not letting API requests get through, because WhiskChat uses a very dynamic IP and "whitelisting" doesn't cut it.
I've had enough: I simply want to stop using your service.
...(snip)... replacing Inputs with something better (bitcoind?), unless you can fix your service.

Anyone have any good alternatives to Inputs.io that are reliable? Coinbase seems nice. (warning, that link is a shameless referral link)

Interesting, I usually have all the odd stuff happen to me but I am having no issues logging in.
You misunderstand my rant - I am ranting about their API.

What exactly are you looking for? Blockchain.info has a nice API too: http://blockchain.info/api
I've had good experiences with that API Wink
I'm looking for a service that lets me send micropayments (mBTC) with minimal fees/limits.
