i was really sad when i read the news of the death of John Mcafee. As far as i know john is a very active crypto influencer in the year 2017 to 2019 when bitcoin hits its first all time high. From that year john was involved in many ICO project and shilling different coins in the market.
back then I was excited each time I read something about him inspiring projects, he always vocal with every coin that he's going to hype, till the point that people realized that he's no longer helping the investors but instead, he's helping those scammers to runaway with investors money. Sad to say that he ended up like this, taking his own life instead of having a quite life away, he can't handle his situation and he find this solution to escape from this problem. |

I don't think all altcoins depend on BTC, the proof is that there is altcoins that can still survived if BTC goes down, but most altcoins follow the btc trend, maybe because BTC is so dominant in the crypto that many altcoin holders sell all their assets to buy BTC,
but few altcoins do that. mostly if there is a decrease in bitcoin, there will be a lot of altcoins that go down, especially if the altcoin is just a momentary fomo action, of course it will come back down also following bitcoin. Simply because bitcoin dominance still high, if there's some coins who can move against bitcoin trend is some because of the update and most are being used for pump and dump. honestly, in terms of innovation, I like Elon but in crypto, I hate him because he sometimes promotes shitcoin... For me, the best top coin to hold and invest even for a long time is the king of all altcoins, the ethereum coin. Ever since ethereum coin has shown up a great market value and made several investors make much profit out of it or holding for a long time. Now it shows it's peak prices such that it has never reached for years. There are also good coins to buy and hold for a long time but not as good as ethereum coin i think.
No doubt about ETH and if you still have more spare money to invest you can also add BNB and some top coins inside the market, there are many available coins both new and old timers are capable of bringing decent profits, just take time analyzing and studying your prospects before placing your money. |

Me too, almost made me a fortune if I had hold on to it. Like in December 2020, Bitcoin was around $12,000 to $16,000 and I've decided to convert them to USDT. Until the big pump happened to $20k, then $30k and up to $60k. However, it would be smart for me to buy it early and sell as the price peaked to $60k. Now BTC is over $30k, and I believe that this will be the new bottom (or maybe not due to the death cross). Risk management is still important, as we should learn about diversifying our investments.
Timing is very important, if you have good knowledge and your assessment leads you to anticipate what the market may bring you, the chance that you can sell it within the peak is very possible, though for now it's all regret for missing that opportunities, you need to try working again and see if the same movement will return back and give you the same chance. |

Since i joined the crypto world i didnt face any problem regrading wallets but i see that many people lose funds...somtimes the situation is normal like when somone share his private key or back up phrase in a scam website...but lets imagine that somone open a nwe wallet on trust and start using it without even keeping the phrase...is there a way to enter his wallet and make transactions without even having the back up phrase?
I think its possible, if the hacker have access to the phone then he can do whatever he want. I dont think theres another possible way to have access on the wallet. there is a possibility might happened when loosing off the gadgets which the person or hackers can make anything accessing the wallets and get all coins on a trust wallet . Other than that if it didn't shared the private keys and 12 phrases word possibly it won't hacked. That's another thing, if the device was stolen or loss and the one who holds it knows about crypto. expect that those assets inside your wallet will travel to another destination, they'll suck it out from your device. Other than that, your seed will always a protection to your investment. |

I am angry rn I knew I should execute all my crypto yesterday when China anounced ban.
Now all my crypto 30% down. and it will take 3 years to recover.
I don't think it will need 3 years but don't worry holding is a good thing to do. Well, at least it is better than panic and cut lose your assets. Back to basic, people should use money that really free to anticipate something like this. So when we holding, we still have our main income to fulfill our daily needs. It is doubtful we are going to even need a year, to me this is simply another aspect of the bull market, I think that by the end of the year we are bound to see another strong increase in the price of bitcoin that will take it to levels that we could have only imagined a few years ago. This means we need to be patient as the recovery is coming and we need our coins to take advantage of it, also I do not see why people still get scared when we see news that China is banning bitcoin, this happens almost every year and yet people keep falling into this FUD. If you choose that way, you need to have a long patience keep everything in order while waiting for the bounce back to take place, this situation shows how this market have a high risk investment, without good knowledge you'll lose your money. But with good anticipation you'll see this moment as opportunities to bag more while waiting for the market to rise back. |
