No será usando cadenas públicas. DLT no es necesariamente Blockchain.

Claro, eso pone, pero igualmente muestran intere, eso para mi es buena señal.

A Covesting le acaban de dar una licencia DLT

The closest mainstream adoption that's about to come is the Bakkt.

Lot of rumors came out and speculations that this will trigger the bull run. Not yet confident unless we see it face to face on how would the adoption be.

Adoption as already started, 10 years ago very soon.
But the process was and is progressive. I think we still need a couple of years to see mainstream adoption.

You have to distinquish the real positive news from the clickbait-fake-news-paid-ad-propaganda.
The only positive thing about crypto speculations,is that it looks kinda like daydreaming. You leave the real world and you stay in a comfortable fantasy, where the bitcoin price 100K USD and you are rich. Grin

perfect description! I love it.

I also noticed that a lot of positive comments are being made now on this forum, Twitter and Facebook these days than for the past few months ago. The fud that bring bitcoin down is fading away and new patterns of comments is coming up. This real another ways of telling us that bitcoin will soon resume uptrend very soon. The best thing to do now is to invest as the future is very bright.

Thx for sharing your study about comments.
I agree on your idea about the future. But still, we can get surprises!

Steve Wozniak has been known to be bullish and investor of bitcoin so if he joined a blockchain company that isn't new anymore. Well, its still Steve Wozniak of Apple that brings more credibility to the market.

Those aren't the good and positive news that came out but the market hasn't be so reactive after those news. I think I'm believing what they are saying that bull run is imminent.

+1, like hearing the caffe coming up.

Right now, anything that is not bad news is good news. We should be grateful that there hasn't been a major hack on a big exchange. There has been a few hacks like spankchain but not like before, it was one after the other during the start of the bear market.

Depend on the viewpoint. A lot of people just see bad news. (If you hate Crypto)

So you think adding loads of shitcoins to the pot is a good sign? Most of CMC is filled with worthless, pointless tokens/coins, which will have no future, just a way to drain money out of stupid people. 99% of them will die out.

So much negatives. Can be true, But you are too negative, I see a lot of speculative potentials!

Yeah, I think that is a good sign! at least we see some action.

here is talk of blockchain something that all the countries of the world praise, including the communist government of china praises, that is to say that is a point for blockchain and not for bitcoin

Still positive!

here is just one more prediction, we have already seen many predictions and all of them were wrong, so this prediction is more likely to be wrong

I bet, at east 1 prediction was true! Tongue

I like this site
Just in Beta,  full version must be amazing. But probably it will be a pay for use tool.

Hence, if you think there has been couple good news recently you are wrong, there has been A TON of good news recently. It will take time but it is going green again, I can see it.

good point. the positive news never stopped, in fact this year the number of positive news have been increasing but there has not been any rise because of two things. first is obviously due to the fact that bubble was popping and then the manipulation, bear market, panic sell,... led to this huge unrealistic drop. and second is the fact that news has never been the reason for rise or fall. news is always like the catalyst that can speed up the already ongoing process.

+1, I feel a push in hype. Soon FOMO?

It's been a long time since the price movement of bitcoin was affected by any news surfacing on the internet and mainstream media, so I doubt this too will make a dent on bitcoin's current footing. Traders nowadays are much interested in stats and facts on the market, not around it. A massive change in volume and demand would surely permit the next volume, but any news about regulation, services and whatnot in the meantime would remain as news and nothing more.

Since January we haven't seen any action really. But after some stabilization in the prices and some pumps, I believe the news is again a factor to have in mind.

There has been a lot of good news and not just recently but as far as couple months now.

All the talks about ETF getting "rejected" is actually a plus for us. Nobody realizes this but the news stations made news about how bitcoin was a drug money and the dangerous type of people and hackers and people who hire killers used bitcoin and all that bad news, right now even with a "rejection" the ETF proves that bitcoin is becoming more of a common thing than those people thought it would.

It is a legit investment option. There has been more and more real financial institutes getting into bitcoin, back in the day only "financial institute" we had was winklevoss twins, right now there are trillions of dollars worth of hedge funds getting into bitcoin.

Hence, if you think there has been couple good news recently you are wrong, there has been A TON of good news recently. It will take time but it is going green again, I can see it.

Agree totally! very good points.
These hedge trillions are true! My optimistic bet is for November- December, till then I see a nice accumulation moment. This recently[ pumps are also a good sign for me!

Este articulo (en Ingles) no comenta que el banco central de España esta pensado en como utilizar la Blockchain.

Spain’s central bank specifically singled out distributed ledger technology (DLT) as having great potential for the Spanish financial system.

Pero lo llama DLT. Por lo menos el interes en un primer paso.

Backed by a non-limit printed dollar ?? makes 0 sense for me.

inflation welcome in crypto!

Well the general idea is that these stablecoins are far easier to trade than actual USD. Dealing with fiat balance can be tricky for some exchanges, so they would prefer to keep your fiat and track your balance with altcoins instead. This way, they're also technically not keeping your money for you. These are basically strictly for trading purposes and have little use otherwise, meaning inflation isn't an issue.

The issue has always been that they can simply be printed out of thin air without repercussions (if they're pegged to the USD, their supply and demand won't dictate their value), unlike actual fiat, if operated without transparency. If Tether had been transparent and open to audits, their reputation would be far better.

Yeah, the use case is there. But, Sorry, my intention with "inflation" was, in some way, referred to how, now we have a door open into the crypto sphere, more control, a cane of power. Indirectly the "money printer" now have an easy access to trading. Do you trust them?

Why do we HAVE TO trust them! (?)

316  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: October 17, 2018, 08:25:29 AM
Hi there,

Yesterday I had another experience, another reaction to crypto.

A Friend from another country has moved to my town. A friend of him has come to help and will stay a few weeks.

So this Friend, He just finished Univerity, he is now Teacher. (for 21+)

when I told him about crypto, he was happy about my proposition, together make a course structure (for a course afterwards).
Also, he told me about some students asking about Bitcoin in some practice classrooms.

So now I will try to teach him all I know about crypto.

If everything goes well, count with a course link here in the future!

What is with this double and triple posts mate? Couldn't you just sum up your comments in a single post?
Stablecoins are dangerous only if there is a condition like "bank rush" (or coin rush?) because I'm pretty sure they also implement the "fractional reserve" system.
For every USDT, USDC, etc., they won't back it 1:1 otherwise they won't get any profit.

Go it, Will try to resume comments. Sorry if this was annoying for you.

For me, it does not really make a difference if they back the stablecoins or not.

Backed by a non-limit printed dollar ?? makes 0 sense for me.

inflation welcome in crypto!

Since Trump's presidency, the US economy has improved tremendously and has made China very miserable in finding jobs and unemployment. I think it will not affect too much on the price of the cryptos, it only affects the forex market.

it seems to me that the dollar and cryptocurrency can develop in parallel and not interfere with each other

What?

Don't you see the truth behind the scenes?

The dollar is going nowhere, just inflation.

What can be developed is our conscience.

And definitely, they are interferences.

Manipulation - obligations - conformism- capitalism - use like no tomorrow -
Things what seems to be normal - arent normal!!!
Mad world!
