301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 19, 2019, 09:20:26 AM
If at some point in time I come across death, how would I actually preserve my crypto for other family members to enjoy? I mean, this should be a concern to every crypto enthusiast since all the money they've earned over time could easily be lost without the ability to be recovered by someone else. The decentralized nature of crypto, leaves us responsible of protecting our own funds no matter what.

Which is why, I'm eager to know which are the best practices to preserve my cryptocurrency in case I die in the future? Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

If you trust your family enough to tell them your wallet address as well as your private keys, there will be no problem about you leaving your crypto behind. There is no company or procedure or law that I know of that offers this service yet. So, the only choice for me is to leave them a printed copy of my address that I hinted something that can help them when something unexpected happen to me. Not that I wish for it to happen soon. You could also do this but have a lawyer leave the paper like a last will or something.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: October 18, 2019, 11:48:35 PM
You know how this is going to end. You might be trying to lie to yourself, you might be secretly hoping that some token in your "portfolio" that you have 10 million of is going to moon to $50 and make you rich, but let's be real: that is not going to happen. Even the allegedly strong altcoins like LTC or ETH or whatever is cool these days (I've been out of this game for a while) are not doing well and BTC dominance is growing. Which makes sense if you think about it. BTC can do most of what any altcoin can do and the few really useful features that BTC is missing (private transactions for example) are implemented by multiple altcoins, fragmenting their market share.

And the elephant in the room: 99% of altcoins are total garbage. They're called shitcoins for a reason.

Sell your altcoins and tokens. Take the proceeds in BTC, stick it into a cold wallet, keep some online to play around with Lightning and other things that actually matter for real-life stuff, like being able to buy something. When was the last time you were able to use for example Ethereum for something tangible, not to buy some garbage tokens or to play a game?

Do it today. Your grandkids will thank you.

For some people, frustration is our motivation. Very few can manage to stand his ground and not sell off his coins. We should not make them feel that they already failed because they do not failed, yet. I get the part that we know the odds are decreasing and the risks are increasing but we are not absolutely sure of what's to happen tomorrow. Please avoid stepping on people's hope even though you are right in the end. There is nothing wrong in advising but don't discourage them.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: October 18, 2019, 11:13:21 PM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

Indeed, there are alot of projects out there but it is vey rare to find that "perfect". This is the main reason why bounty hunters still choose to do campaigns even though the project isn't that good nor the pay is even barely livable. Most of the times, we do it for money but does it really worth it? Only you could answer that to yourself.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: October 18, 2019, 10:35:45 PM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.

I really don't know what to feel with this. He just posted his pk just to prove that it is empty? So what if it's not in the next days? We need to tell them the importance of pks and it's not just any key, it is the only password that can access the wallet. I hope he will be last one to do that but if someone else do that, I wouldn't feel sorry if they'll be hacked.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: October 18, 2019, 10:03:38 PM
as we see now many project are using IEO system to collect funds from investors and I feel IEO is very popular at the moment, besides that I also see a lot of IEO that are currently successful, therefore I am sure that the price of ETH will definitely increase too if many project use blockchain from Ethereum (ERC-20). because as we know in 2017, where ETH prices increase very high due to ICO very popular and successful, so if this year IEO will experience the same thing as ICO in 2017 (popular and successful) then it will make ETH prices increase again (bull run).

As much as a I also like the ide of ETH's prices increase, it doesn't have a direct relationship with the IEOs. The sale of IEO will benefit the exchanger and the investor and not directly to ETH. Correlation is not causation and ICOs are different from IEOs so I don't think it will be correct to assume that what happened in ICOs will happen in IEOs. Nevertheless, I also hope that ETH's prices boom soon.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 05:05:48 PM
There is nothing more appealing to a crypto enthusiast than an environment suitable for holding or trading cryptocurrencies, In my opinion here are the 5 most crypto-friendly countries.

Malta
Topping the list is Malta. The country has become a haven for cryptocurrency companies and businesses due to its tax-friendly policy, even for foreigners. This country has a prime minister who fully supports all cryptocurrencies.

Bermuda
Bermuda is a small island with a population of about 65,000 people in the Caribbean. This country has attracted companies with a free tax policy. This also applies to cryptocurrencies as the country aims to become a haven for the cryptocurrency industry

Japan
Japan is a leading country in the cryptocurrency space. Japan is the first country in the world to accept Bitcoin as legal. The country was also the first to adopt extensive regulations for more than their cryptocurrency exchanges.

Germany
Cryptocurrencies are considered to be a separate unit of money and an accepted means of payment in the country by the German National Tourism Board 2018. Germany has a cryptocurrency-friendly financial system.

Singapore
Cryptocurrencies will be considered commodities, not currencies in Singapore. Any company dealing with cryptocurrencies is required to pay GST (Goods and Services Tax)

In your opinion, which countries are crypto friendly? Please list

I noticed that almost everyone is pointing out Switzerland. According to thee news, the  country's  central bank is exploring the use of cryptocurrencies for trading in partnership with SIX Group. It's quite remarkable how open minded for technological advancements these governments are. I just wish that other governments can also consider this side and not ban or legalized the use of crypto in their country.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular on: October 18, 2019, 03:52:02 PM
We're talking about jobs, livelihood and fulfilled dreams What opportunities Cryptocurrencies have created since it becomes very popular
in my case, it changes my life I made a job out of Cryptocurrency by just giving my opinion and doing stuff from other people, so how about you.

Cryptocurrency created different sort of jobs and because of doing bounties, I was able to practice and hone my communication skills. English is not my first language but because of talking in different sites and platform, I learned a lot of things. To be able to speak another is language is a treasure for me but to learn from other people about different topics, especially the modern technology, is a big bonus.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 17, 2019, 11:35:19 PM
Everytime there are coins that are being advertise we get excited
we make rumors and lots of noise without knowing it forst hand
we are just excited about the bounty , and sharing links to others
to make lots of refferal and bonus
but at the end of the campaign after we found out its a bust we then release are sentiments toward it, how it fails and the campaign
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

A new projects reignites the goal of every investor to be part of a successful project. Profit aside, some people wants to be a part of the story on how a coin would rise up and compete with current ones in the market. New projects, new possibilities but also new risks so, always be cautious in making decisions about investments and trades. We ought to see a dynamic and variety of cryptocurrency but it is still better to be safe than sorry.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover on: October 17, 2019, 10:57:28 PM
You can't judge projects by how they look, what matters is what they are here to fix in crypto space,i introduced a good privacy altcoin to my friends weeks ago and they neglect it because of its look, the name of the project is sero

How can someone judge a project because of its white&black inky look?the fact is sero is just more than its logo looks and its already trading at a very good price 0.33$ i think, while its ICO price was 0.01cent.

My advice to people like my friends is to always put aside how a project looks, either scam looking or not please take your time to investigate before you decide if its good or not. Some projects are more than how they look, remember that not all shinny things are good either, learn to do research on projects not how they look.

We all have our own preferences but nothing proves more than the success of the project we have invested in. I seldom judge on aesthetics but it still a factor for publicity and demand. Yet this project made it to its successful days (I hope there is more to come). Functionality and the overall quality might be the main factors why this project have been successful. Kudos to the dev team and to those investors that believe in the project.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: October 17, 2019, 10:30:51 PM
Why do you think that everyone is afraid that some of the new projects
some people without doing any research,    They despise a project, which makes other people agree.
is this lack of literacy in the study makes them fail ?
Does this lack of information bring down a project, that MAY have a bright future ?

Because of all those projects that have been created and released for the last two years, very few have been successful and when most of them failed, the scam projects have made their names to ruin the reputation of not just ICOs but the whole cryptocurrency industry. It made such impact that only the most risk-takers can have guts to invest in new projects. It will take time, a lot of it, before the doubts and bad PR of new projects before people trust them again
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 09:53:12 PM
1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?

I prefer a long term investment and in this case, finding a coin with lower rate of profit but is more reliable and established in the industry is a must. Indeed, you do not just invest in any coin if you value safety more like me. Investing on new projects must be done only after you research about it. Before you risk anything, you need to read it up first.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser to launch a fully decentralized vpn on: October 17, 2019, 09:22:47 PM
We all know that the blockchain itself guaranties anonymity on its own and now Brave browser want's to integrate it into a vpn service creating a fully decentralized virtual private network which means you don't have to be worried about your data being sold by the vpn providers.

However we all know that everything has a good and bad side and one of its disadvantages is that it gives people who perform illegal activities more freedom. What do you think about it? Do you think it's worth it or not?

Read full article here: https://decrypt.co/9937/brave-proposes-decentralized-crypto-enhanced-vpn

I know many people talks about brave and how it can be better than Chrome as a browser. But since the VPN will offer this kind of service, I was thinking on how will their company earn from this. So, I assume that the VPN will cost more than our regular VPN available in the market right now. Though, it will be a good innovation especially tht there are a lot concerns about data privacy and anonymity of our online selves.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning crypto on games - are you serious? on: October 17, 2019, 08:39:45 PM
I'm seeing a lot of posts and top-lists with the best crypto games lately. At the moment there’s a huge selection of crypto games online starting from simple casino slots and finishing by shooters, 3D action, and exploration games. I see a lot of promos, articles, etc, but I never heard of the efficiency of those games for their users. Take this top-5 for example. Does anyone even play it? Are you doing it for fun, or is it really a profitable way of earning crypto?

How relevant are blockchain games and is it possible to make any profit on them? By 'making any profit' I mean an alternative to trading, mining, etc.
Share your experience.

After reading the article, it is the first time I heard of the game EOS Knight and I noticed immediately the influence of IEOs. The cryptocurrency industry really do have different branches in the world but gaming industry is still one of favorite in terms of entertainment rather than profit. I don't usually want to mix those two because I often get distracted but I might check that game and the others. Though, I really don't expect to earn a lot in playing because gambling or not, games are different from work for me.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin? on: October 17, 2019, 03:28:20 PM
It's hard to invest in a new coin with the so many scam reports about new coins, they are promising a lot giving a new concept and making huge promotion about their coin, so you'll just invest in their coin
How Sure Are You That You Invested In A Right New Coin?

If the project team promises a too good to be true deal, it will be common sense to doubt unless you are a really greedy and dumb person in this industry. I need to see a realistic amount of expected profit as well as a good management. If the project team can easily be engaged and is not confusing nor too pushy when explaining stuffs about the project. It will be difficult to certify that the project is a scam nor it will definitely succeed but we won't know unless we put our faith and try it after it meets our conditions.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 17, 2019, 06:13:33 AM
But why don't you find those beautiful airdrops once, whose only request was to communicate an address to receive the gift?  Cry

It is both sad and beautiful to reminisce the good old days of airdrops. That is why we should work harder to fix the problems caused by the scams and bad reputation of 2018. It really did a number in the industry and if we want to bring it back, we should be more careful and choose wisely which projects we should really promote.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 17, 2019, 03:53:50 AM
This industry is dynamic so, do not expect that it will always be good times nor the prices will continuously increment with time. There will lows like this where the reputation of cryptos will be challenged. Yet, it doesn't mean that we will just have to wait for it pump up again. Promoting projects that has great potential and worth of our time is a good way to clear the doubts in investing in the market. Finding that particular project will be difficult but not impossible.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: October 17, 2019, 02:14:00 AM
Good evening everyone, I want to share a little bit of saturation but also want to share the spirit in the current market conditions (Altcoin Prices). When you decide to trade, you must set aside a lot of time to monitor price movements. Actually not only choose the time to buy or sell, but there must be a growing spirit of self. Don't focus too much on conditions, but we need refreshment of mind to make a new strategy. I am optimistic that the altcoin price will grow well, maybe later this year. Do you think so now? Thank you,

Complaining won't do any good for us and you are right that instead of complaining, we just need a positive mindset espcially right now that the market in altcoins is not as good as it was before. We need to hope for the best because there isn't much else we can do more. We need to stop whining around and try to work on new strategies in this industry.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: October 16, 2019, 04:03:31 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!

There us nothing wrong in investing for a longer time as long you are willing to wait patiently and you have already fully understand and accept the risks of doing long term investment. Short term investments are also a good way to earn money but aside from profit, you can also earn some important lessons from the experience. Experiencing trades in this dynamic market can make you wiser and make better decisions in the future.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 16, 2019, 03:51:34 AM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

Some of the old coins will most likely to remain in the future. Just like bitcoin, they have already established their foundation and legacy in the market. So, the state of the market would almost look the same years from now. But it doesn't mean that there won't be new strong compeptitors in the market. I forsee new projects that will emerge and these new players can change the flow of the market.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: October 14, 2019, 07:27:16 PM
The biggest mistakes developers make that leads to bad ending for many projects are

1. Huge Discounts
Many new projects are still making this mistake over and over again, huge discounts like 50% is insane and it always bother me how the hell the early buyers won't end up dumping since they have already see big profits.

2. Lack Of Solid Products and Ideas
Lack of working products and real use cases is why many investors are not taking new projects very seriously, no one would want to hold such tokens or coins for long, developers need to start working on how their project's token or coin will be very demanding throughout the globe

3. Bad Exchanges
Imagine new projects that make over millions of dollars in ico or ieo and end up listing on bad exchanges with no enough volume, what do they expect to happen?

Indeed, many developers are repeating the same mistakes and some of them do that in purpose just to earn money. There are devs that create projects that are meant to fail thus, also failing the goal of cryptocurrency. This has been observed too many times in 2018 that caused the downfall of the reputation of the altcoins.
