301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: March 10, 2018, 03:41:34 PM
Currently 1 Bitcoin is around $9300+ and I still think it is worth to pay that amount for a newbie. Bitcoin is still progressing and some say it is still young so if that’s the case, then Bitcoin would still be cheap to buy if it is still young and still growing. But always put in mind that it constantly fluctuates so it’s not increasing all the time; so there is that risky part when investing in Bitcoin.
302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying BTC below 10,000 USD? on: March 10, 2018, 12:02:28 PM
Yes it can be profitable within 1 year of holding your coin however my piece of advice to you is to not expect that much profit when it comes to Bitcoin trading, aside from its fluctuations; I think you already know Bitcoin is very unpredictable.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC new trend on: March 09, 2018, 12:40:03 PM
Bitcoin still can’t go over the $11k mark yet because of the negative news its thrown at, it just dropped down back again to the $8k+ mark thus correcting again its price before it reaches back the $11k again. It will be a difficult year for Bitcoin but I’m sure it will soon recover.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 09, 2018, 10:38:26 AM
Too much is bad and just like in gambling when you had too much its bad for someone's health, mentally and physically. And when it affects bad things in one's life it can be considered as a disease. Most of the post here are saying that gambling addiction is a disease which is right.
https://www.helpguide.org/articles/addictions/gambling-addiction-and-problem-gambling.htm

Gambling is basically not a disease but a kind of problem that needs a serious solution. If a person is addicted to gambling he usually disregard and put aside something important over it. To help a person who is addicted to gambling is not an easy task because it is a personal decision of the person if he really want to get out from it.

Why you need a serious solution if you keep invest on betting and choose the right games which you know more about the player or team. There is no problem at all.
If you are serious gambler and take investment as serious fund for your personal purpose and etc.
You need not to keep those of gambling activities. So guys like this should from gambling investments.

I agree and I don’t think gambling is a disease but a psychological problem. That’s why some people who are addicted to gambling who thinks it is already a serious problem would sometimes go see a shrink to help them woth their addiction. But for some though, people thinks gambling is a form of investment.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: March 09, 2018, 09:16:03 AM
Yes it is important because at least the developers know that it is working. It will be an advantage to them if it is a product who has some outcome already and they will just take it from there to better the project and work its way og progressing so investors would be more drawn.
306  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: March 09, 2018, 06:39:33 AM
Yes I think there is a chance it would be known worldwide, in fact it is already starting to be known slowly around the world. The only thing I could contribute to the community is to spread the knowledge I learned with bitcoin and with trading. That’s the best thing I could offer especially to those who wants to earn and learn about digital currencies.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: March 08, 2018, 04:03:04 PM
That's what came into my mind too and that's a real issue some people are scared of because if ever the governments win over Bitcoin and starts to legalize them then I'm pretty sure it would be the start of Bitcoins downfall. But we'll never know what could happen if it will be legalized and regulated, it could even be a good thing in the future.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we repeating the 2014 BTC crash??? on: March 08, 2018, 01:49:36 PM
I hope it won’t crash, I have hold a few of my bitcoins for long term and I am not expecting it to crash down below $6k. It would be like going from the start when I started out trading. The reason why it is decreasing is because of the FUD about a certain exchange site, but hopefully it’ll recover again and tries to slowly go back up.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to make money on the Internet on: March 08, 2018, 10:39:36 AM
For me the best way to earn or make money on the internet is to do trading but if you are not that familiar in trading, there are other ways to earn like posting blogs, selling something online and start your own youtube channel which is the “trend” nowadays.
310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you still looking for best gambling site that suits your luck on: March 07, 2018, 05:43:24 PM
Whether your intention is true or not, but the thought of asking for referrals to help raise money for kids in the streetwalk is actually a lame excuse for me. Why won't you just trade then and the profits you earn or the capital you invested in trading, that's what you'll spend to help kids on the streets? At least there is somewhat a 20% sure fact that the money you invested does profit, while in gambling you can't be too sure the referral amount can help you out with the transaction fee.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction: Bitcoin will hit 100K on: March 07, 2018, 04:31:17 PM
Well it is highly possible that Bitcoin will hit the $100k mark within the next few years based on some speculators stating that it might reach $50k by end of this year. Most probably they thought of that because of last years huge difference from the start of January till December of 2017. Their target was just $10k-$12k but it hit the $20k mark; that's over what they expected. So let's just wait and see in the next coming months and let the market do the talking.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INVESTMENT IDEAS on: March 07, 2018, 03:23:19 PM
Investing your money into cryptocurrencies is not that easy and is very risky, do have any idea about trading? Because that's what you should ask yourself first, take time to read about trading and the coins you want to invest in. Don't just ask people what's a good coin to invest because you would not learn anything from just asking. This is one of the reason why moderators placed merits for newcomers to be able to understand what they are getting themselves into and not just hyped over what they read or heard on the internet.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 02:07:35 PM
I don’t think it is going to happen anytime soon yet because there was some news about Facebook banning ICO’s, so does that mean they are not allowing cryptocurrencies taking over the Social Media? We’ll just have to wait for more news in the coming months or years if they will be implementing that.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: March 06, 2018, 03:47:47 PM
Ethereum is actually one of the best coin there is although its progression is slow compared to Bitcoin. If you are able to observe, ICO projects now are almost Ethereum based than Bitcoin and Waves blockchain are used because it has a much faster transaction compared to both and transaction fees are not that high. And there have been numerous ICO's that are successful too.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: March 06, 2018, 02:08:54 PM
In my opinion I think you can generate a monthly income through BTC trading buy you have to put a huge capital at first or it depends on how much you are willing to profit within a month. And you have to do short term or day trading in that case to earn a huge amount of profit also. Always remember since Bitcoins price constantly fluctuates, you don't get to earn a steady income; there will be times it is low and there are times it is high.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: March 06, 2018, 10:39:02 AM

Nova is up already and you are able to register again, however I think you are very right. If Deep Onion would to be added to a new exchange they would probably gain a lot of momemtum.

This is exactly what I've been saying. We need more exchanges because being listed only on Nova simply won't give us enough volume to help push the price up where it should be.

as i know being listed in big exchange need very high effort.
project need to have big supporter behind it and also they should pay big amount to get listed. its not that easy to get listed but if its listed then no doubt the price will to the moon.
[/quote]

I agree, being listed to one of the biggest exchanges has a huge impact on the volume of Onion. But of course they also need huge support from whales because they are the ones responsible of the demand then volume would skyrocket once they are listed on a certain exchange. But that's one step too if they are listed on Nova.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler's mindset! on: March 05, 2018, 02:21:56 PM
I am not thinking I would win every time I gamble because it only confuses my mind and makes me feel frustrated when I lose a game. But for those who always win, I think it's not all the time they do win but if ever they do they'll make sure to cash out the profits they won. For the owners of the gambling sites, I don't there was ever a time wherein all players on that certain site won the game. There are more losers than winners so to answer your question, they do make a lot of profits.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you guys think?? on: March 04, 2018, 06:59:46 PM
I think it's neither both Bitcoin and Altcoins, you really can not predict which coins are going to be in season for a certain month. It depends on the market if it is in favor with Bitcoin or some Altcoins. But for me I think Bitcoin will always be in season because it's value is still young, so you can still invest in Bitcoin and earn profits for long term and same goes with Altcoins as well.
319  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: March 04, 2018, 04:47:17 PM
True but what I did since I am not able to decide at what price I need to sell my coins, I set them at a certain price dividing them to 4-5 set of orders in just one coin. I know it really sounds absurd and ridiculous but at least it won't be a huge pain in my arse to think I sold them too early or too late. But it always works on my end though, so I still stick to that strategy until now.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: March 04, 2018, 03:46:36 PM
We've all heard and read about this topic a thousand times, but here's my suggestion:

1. Don't depend on what people say here in this forum; instead be resourceful. There are a lot of topics here asking what to invest and most do give out great tips for longer term.

2. Research a lot! Trust me, it will be of your benefit and not ours.

3. Since you are asking ideas of what to buy now and keep longer, check this website coinmarketcap.com and you'll find things you need when trading (ideas of coins to buy that is).

4. And I surmise you barely know anything about Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies that much yet, then just stick to what you know first and go for long term with what you are familiar with like for example Bitcoin; if that's what you are accustomed to.

And goodluck to you though and happy trading!
