Seems easier to just add a $25 wifi bridge (assuming you have wifi).  Look for a dd-wrt flashed one and search on YouTube for easy setup.  I have run 4 cubes and netflix off mine.
303  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Is Property Not Currency on: March 25, 2014, 10:08:55 PM
There is no reasonable way to track this.

Nonsense. All transactions ore visible on the blockchain. Just choose between LIFO and FIFO accounting models, then get to finding the dates of each of your transactions.

None of my 2000+ transactions with Cryptsy/BTC-e/Coinbase/Etc are on the blockchain. (Directly associated with me/internal trades)

Add another to the list that you can spend Bitcoins on!

Awsome.... also to add, you can use Zinc Save for Target, Walmart, Amazon as well.

You can also buy Amazon gift cards and then buy additional gift cards through Amazon that aren't available elsewhere.

309  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory Question on: March 23, 2014, 02:01:25 AM
Best to ask armory questions in the armory thread,  but no you do not need to create new addresses.  I assume you are asking if you send from the online computer after signing with offline computer.  Only reason to assign a new address is to keep people from snooping the block chain for transactions you have intiated.
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Great...Bitcoins for $30 on: March 23, 2014, 01:24:49 AM
Saw these on reddit.  This is really going to confuse people and give Bitcoins a bad name.

There is an on going thread on Peter in the economics section.  It has posts of all of his related bitcoin discussions.  Will be interesting to see if overtime he really does change.

315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox announce finding of 200,000 lost BTC! on: March 20, 2014, 08:17:02 PM
This is going to make things interesting.  How was it "discovered" and how will they distribute the coins back to the owners?  With their database hacked, how will they be able to allow legit people to login and retrieve their accounts and assure everyone that it's not just hackers logging into the database?  That's assuming the courts allow a percentage distribution to the depositors.  And legal fees will eat up a lot of these coins!  Mtgox just keeps on Goxxing......

With their database hacked
Gox stopped using plain-text passwords in the DB a very long time ago.
Anyone with a strong password will still be in control of their account, and the others deserve to learn a harsh lesson.

This is already known....  I am talking about what other holes and security exploits do the hackers have access to?  If they got in once, makes sense they can do it again.  And did they plant a back door somewhere else in the code?
