303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / HODLing Ethereum Classic on: January 15, 2018, 01:19:13 AM
I was patronizing ETC after I went out of Bitcoins. Unfortunately, I could not find any news about it recently, and I was wondering what was the reason for the pump. Can you help me out with your ETC news please? Thanks!

305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 09:29:02 AM
Reading a lot of New Year Resolutions, and I can understand many of you here have some resolutions that involve crypto and bitcoin. Maybe you want to earn a bitcoin, multiply your  bitcoins or become a crypto millionaire.

So here is one similar question that does not necessarily has to be achieved in this year.

What are the things you want to buy with bitcoin?
Whether its a House, your favorite car, a yacht, a jet or a ticket to Mars. Whatever you dream, list the things you want to buy with your bitcoins (crypto).

I will definitely buy a new set of computers and establish an Internet Cafe in my hood. While operating my cafe, I will dedicate a couple of machines for mining bitcoin cash. ha ha! Haters gonna hate, but hell yeah I said bitcoin cash.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why even holding your bitcoins? on: December 25, 2017, 11:07:50 PM
Why would I want to keep BTC in my investment portfolio? That's most hyped and quite overvalued coin I'd say.
There are other more technologically advanced coins. Is it because of "digital gold" and store of value properties?

Man, you gotta do what you gotta do. Bitcoin is the GIANT and you have to embrace that. In the mainstream world, you have to position yourself somewhere before that somewhere gets hyped... and that somewhere is BITCOIN. Think about this, would you prefer having a share of a stock that could give you 20% returns in 5 years over BITCOINS that have given many of us a fat 700% profit in less than a year?

Anyway, I am in BCASH now... let's see where can it take me.

I told you I will provide proof that I LOST  the Bitcoin I had to a trojan on my PC.
geeez man... I don't want to be rude, but honestly this excuse is so lame... If you had failed to secure your computer from bugs then how am I going to trust your team of devs?

Hello and greetings dear no0dlepunk,

Thank you for your observation. Please let us know what this has to do with devs? Devs do their job and we as admin do ours. Although a team, do you think a trojan will inform them before coming onto my PC or yours? Or maybe you think we did not take adequate precautions. We ssure you that we have since changed our computers, not just harddisks, because torjans are known to stay long after harddisks are formatted.

Following is just one example of the "proof" for your kind reference and for the reference of Decoded and everyone else who thinks this is a lame excuse.

Kindly find out the accuracy of our statements before casting a shadow of doubt on a project trying to protect sensitive digital data for the larger good of humanity. We have faced challenges and we are overcoming them. All that we ask is for you to not judge us negatively and put us in the electric chair for some unanticipated delays being encountered. Is that asking for or expecting too much?

Thanking you again,
Best regards.

I get it, man... but in my opinion huh, people who doesn't understand TROJANs and other bugs very well will lose faith in your project because of that "lame excuse". We can say that I am speaking as a fraction of noobs who wants to invest in some ICOs that could bring some fortune, and then here comes YOU saying that your BTCs were "trojaned" and weren't able to pay your advertisers.

But anyway, I also understood your point. You and Decoded could have spoken privately for the project's sake. I am kind of upset because I am an ICO enthusiast. If I could get free tokens from this campaign then that is very awesome... unfortunately, I wasn't able to get an opportunity because this shit happened. I wasn't listed in your spreadsheet though. I am keeping some tokens at the moment (Angel, 808, etcetera etcetera...) You are my next prospect.

I hope your campaign would proceed. I will be interested to join.

310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BTC Halal ? on: December 17, 2017, 12:09:12 PM
If it is prohibited in their belief then they are the once who should answer this, they are the ones who should raise this question too, not you Pablo... you are Jewish. Halal should be none of your business because it doesn't affect you in anyway.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some stable altcoins ? on: December 17, 2017, 06:15:56 AM
There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?
I suggest you signup for poloniex and then see the altcoins for yourself. Stable means that the devs are not going to abandon the project so soon... put ETH, ETC, and LTC on your watchlist. You can never go wrong with these coins... though, I will go with bitcoin cash moving forward.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: December 16, 2017, 02:12:05 AM
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
How long should I hold it?

Is there a risk that I might lose it all?

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea?
Take my advice... the half of it, buy bitcoincash... and then Litecoin for the other half.

Sooner or later, people will seek for a cryptocurrency that can be transferred faster and cheaper, and my two bets are LTC and BCH.
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the $100 bitcoin fee on: December 16, 2017, 02:08:11 AM
if price and excitement carries on i can really see this becoming a reality next year. what effect would it have? would it drive out everyone but whales? would it drive out whales too if the minnows walked? would big boys take over and keep it for themselves? if that was the case would miners be making so much freaking money they'd no longer care about block size?

right now for its own health possibly the best thing bitcoin could do is crash and scare everyone away for a year or two. that should give enough time and space for businesses to integrate segwit and maybe those second layers will happen as well. by the time people come back it might be ready to accommodate them.

and no core moaning or alt pumping here. let's hear what you think could happen to bitcoin itself and nothing but if this takes place soon.
Here are my thoughts... Bitcoin price is soaring and the big boys (Ver, Wu, McAfee) are enjoying it... Bitcoin attracts people to learn cryptocurrency in a form of an investment. Here in Asia, coins.ph announced that they will soon offer bitcoincash in their wallets, that gave me an impression that the bigboys will soon support bitcoincash because of it's faster and cheaper transactions. I know this sounds awkward, but I have a strong feeling that bitcoincash will be the mainstream-head's choice over bitcoin core.

Another is Litecoin.  Grin
314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: December 16, 2017, 02:01:59 AM
Now when BC is sky high and ETH also pretty high. DO people even give their real money for those currencies. I mean give 300$ for 1ETH or 6000$ for 1BC is too much for most people.
I mean how often do people buy crypto currency like ETH and BC
Of course you have to buy with real money. Think about it, if you feel that an asset worth $300 now will be $700 in the next few months, will you not buy? Experienced traders know how to estimate a good entry price and how much amount to put in. It is not surprising, anyway.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Know when Price is Low Enough to Buy? on: December 16, 2017, 01:59:02 AM
I want to Buy some litecoin but price seems inflated.
How can I Know when the price is low enough to buy? I think it's called the dip.
I am such a noob lol
Please point me to resources to learn about this
Thanks  Smiley
Look at the charts, man... look back to 24 hours, 1 day, and probably 1 month - then you decide for yourself if the price is high or low.
On youtube, you may want to watch videos about trading analysis, EMAs, Candlesticks, etcetera... Sign up with twitter and follow Charlie Lee. I guess he is the best source of LTC news.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: December 16, 2017, 01:49:28 AM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

Thanks!
If you admit that you are noob in trading bizkneez, then I will suggest you start at $100. Buy some ETC and then flip it into other altcoins as soon as it reaches 400% gains. Just a piece of advice, don't be too greedy... if you feel that you already gained some good cash, then sell it right away and wait for another bearish run. Don't expect too much profit during your first weeks.
317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: December 16, 2017, 01:44:24 AM
I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?
You might be referring to Charlie... Charlie Lee tweeted this line a while ago.

Anyway, experienced traders wait for a bearish market before they buy. Bullish may look attractive to noobs, but it is very risky to panic buy at bull runs. Now, if people are waiting for a price drop then they might be basing it from their long years of experience. In the first place, you will never lose if you wait for a price drop compared to buying it now and then it will fall in the next few months. Let them do what they have to do... every trader has different strategies based on their goals.

Panic buying will cause you anxiety attacks  Grin
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ☃☃☃ The Bitcoin Dream ☃☃☃ on: December 16, 2017, 01:38:26 AM
Once the demand does not rise anymore, and then people sell very very low just to make cash out of it, that is called bubble. Bitcoin will never bubble because it is the exit of all assets. People are migrating to the digital realm, an IT age from the farm age... People will develop every industry into an automated one, therefore, few years from now everything in this world will turn digital. Digital currency is the CURRENCY FOR THE DIGITAL WORLD.

Now, it is more appropriate to say that FIAT will bubble... including your stoooopid brain.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Secure Storage on: December 15, 2017, 07:01:19 AM
Good evening, I would like to know what is the safest way to store altcoins.
Use a hardware wallet to keep your coins safe against hackers. The vulnerability of offline wallets are still high percentage so better safe than lose bags of altcoins. Just make sure that your altcoins are worthy than your hardware  Grin
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚔⚔⚔ Is Bitcoin The Beginning Of Anarchy? ⚔⚔⚔ on: December 15, 2017, 06:56:28 AM
Nope, there will be no anarchy... bitcoin existed over a decade already underground, and there is no anarchy at all. Now since it has reached the mainstream, expect the government to make a move very soon. The government is always one step ahead, that's why we always need a new form of revolution.
