How the fuck did you come up with the name Spondoolies?
A combination of sponge and doolies? A combination of spongedoo and lies ? A combination of spondo and oolies?

Yah exactly. I agree with that another 2 weeks, another 2 weeks is classic BS from BFL.
At this point in the game, buy two SP10s at 3,500 each and you get 1.6Th/s EACH in turbo mode right? And no expensive water cooling loop, no expensive 1500W power supplies ON TOP of the card.
So with them, lets say you bought two cards, overclock and its 1.6TH/s. Then water cooling for the future, and two massive power supplies to allow overclocking in the future. So 2200 X 2 = 4400 plus power supplies = 4800 plus water cooling loops another 125 each. $5300 for MAYBE 2 TH/s NOW all the fucking nightmare to get it all to fucking work is a week spent not hashing. When will they ship??? GOD KNOWS. But god are they full of themselves now with their oh wow look, it overclocks, its so efficient. But the compeition has been shipping for MONTHS now and you guys are already 6 months behind at this point with your SUPER technology. They are $500 cards at this point!!
With SP-Tech, you buy Two SP10s, get 1.6GH/s each IMMEDIATELY, self contained, already ready to rack and stack, and its $3500 for say a solid 1.6GH/s and thats as soon as it hits the door. No crazy power supply and water cooling needed to set them up. SO BFL, your shit SUCKS if you ask me and its not even out the door yet. I think its common sense at this point that their video card design is lacking and just going to be a PAIN ITFA.
I pray to god I can extort a refund out of these criminals and buy two more SP10s for June.
That's correct

Can we leave any kind of message in the blockchain when we send a transaction?

does this mean that with upgraded power supplies we will be given the option to go to ~6.3 THs ? Would this be something Spondoolies would offer as an upgrade option? I take it the power supplies in the SP30 are server supplies rated at 1200watts each and by the looks the just click and slide out, will you be supporting specific replacement PSU's and allowing software overclocking? I think that you will have 6.3 TH/s by with the default PSUs. And yes the PSUs are server rated and they are click and slide out. Thanks RoadStress, hey how many units are we at now BTW? I would love to have more money to order more :O but alas i'm just a poor boy We are at 373 units right now.

Did FC explicitly say there wouldn't be any dividends till the financial report, or is that just speculation?
The understanding is that dividends would be paid out after the first large batch of chips sold, which may be sooner than the previously mentioned date. How it can be sooner if the chips are delayed by one month?

Did someone really order 37 today? Yes. 35 full payment and 2 with the Neptune offer with down payment of $3k and the rest later when he gets his refund. (i hope he won't mind disclosing this) In the last 24 hours there were more than 20% units reserved when comparing to the whole Group Buy. Maybe i should've liaised for the SP10 limit to just 500 units... No harm in asking I wouldn't stretch it out any more though, ppl might get peeved. Well he is anonymous anyway so no harm done there. The blockchain is public after all

Knc miners office is hardly 15 km from my house and Id rather order a miner from another part of the world than knc as they dont have a good reputation when it comes to delivery and ROI. I still dont understand how you guys risk hundreds and thousands of dollars with pre order crap. A guy on there fb page ordered 90 neptunes and is waiting since months lol I guess thats enough proof to ahow knc is a circus.
Order your miner from Israel? Check my sig
That's why I said remotely close. Knowing Avenger, I don't believe he will knowingly say anything nice about KnC, but this one comes close.
So I still don't get why all the hates for KnC when they have essentially absorbing the 50+ % drop in bitcoin value. Yet I don't see as much hatred on the HashFast forum where most people who ordered there lost 75% of their bitcoin value (a gain of 4-5x for HashFast) and none of the B2- B4 pre-order customers have received any refund or any response from HashFast.
Did you totally miss about 300 posts in the hashfast thread where we expressed our dissatisfaction with hashfast and decided to lawyer up?? There is nothing more to say in that thread that hasn't been said before. Hashfast is scum and I expected much more from KNC, but alas, it seems they are following the same footsteps. Time to give Spondoolies a chance I guess. Haven't you learnt from your mistakes? Don't trust these money grabbing scumbags that fund r&d with customer's money, and deliver stuff late or overcharge for the miners... Go gpu mining instead, or just learn how to do trading with the BTC you have. No ASIC manufacturer is treating customers well, except for the green and red teams (yeah nvidia and amd, since they don't have a stake in mining, they don't need to make money off it and screw you over). You are wrong here. Spondoolies is treating all their customer very well.

Two weeks is actually a trademark owned by BFL. Unfortunately after ~5500BTC donated to thermos this forum doesn't have a proper search function so can't help you with any links. As for performance we've heard it before. Showing a picture where they draw random lines everyone can make. Where is the real actual hardware? If they have it in hand and actually performing they should show it instead of a random picture. But enough BFL.

Just because somebody doesnīt publically complain doesnīt mean he is satisfied with his situation. The statement in reference to his person was only meant as an example. The post you have linked to actually seems to be more on my side of the argument, stating that he finds it unusual for groupbuys (shipped by the manufacturer and with only one unit as the lowest order) to offer such massive discounts.
I took to the forums because I thought spondoolies would reply to my inquiries in a publically verifiable manner, and wanted to provide anyone in the similar situation food for thought.
Although I donīt see it as logical that you are content with paying twice the price for your slightly earlier sp30, maybe justifying a higher price of around 20%, I am glad for you.
I have now sent them an email to try and get a response on the topic.
It might have been wrong starting this on the forums. However, i wanted to point out the sort of problems that come with surprisingly big discounts, as it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for everyone who assumed to have gotten a good deal before. I therefore think this deserves an honest discussion.
Again, we are talking about a 50% price reduction here.
Well if someone doesn't publicly complain AND they also don't complain directly to the company then it means that they just accept their situation. The link that I gave actually states that he has an early bird bundle and he is ok with it and that he doesn't demand anything. Again I'm in the same position as him. As for "slighty" earlier it's a good 2-3 weeks earlier. Time in Bitcoin-Land is very very valuable.(it's 2 difficulty jumps apart) I think that we have clarified this so I don't see any reason to just keep discussing this here. Group buy has just 2 hours left. Let's end it as smooth as it went the whole time.

@spondoolies
Will there be some kind of bonus for the guys who bought the first sp10/sp30 bundle? They payed around 9000$ per sp30 and those are now only 4500$.
These are your most loyal customers, who trusted you from the start and put their money where their mouth was.
Essentially they payed double the amount for only 2 weeks earlier delivery....
By the way is this a theoretical question or you are really in this position? Speaking in 3rd person is a bit confusing. I am really in this position but i also (think I) speak for everyone who is in the similar one. I also know of a community member who bought more than 10 early bird bundles and he essentially just gifted them in excess of 45000$ if they dont provide any bonus/ coupon etc. Edit: as far as i know "anarchy" ordered 22 bundles at list price. You can probably see that for us customers, this doesnīt amount to any small sum. I hope you donīt see me as some troll who asks hypothetical questions like what would happen if the world were flat... This is a serious sum and hence a very valid concern and question for many of us. You are the only one that has complained so far. I have a bundle just like you and i'm fine with it, and it seems that there is someone else in my position too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=521520.msg6478207#msg6478207I don't see you as a troll. I asked for clarification because of the way you expressed your problem. If "anarchy" ordered 22 bundles and doesn't complain then it means that he is satisfied with his choice. As far as i see it you are the only one that has an issue with this so there is no need to point it to other customers. I am not arguing with you, but why don't you send them an e-mail to sales@ to try to work this out?

I'm satisfied. Paid ~14BTC and i got 28.09BTC.
Nice Wow, had the world gone mad? Did the sun rise from the West today? Of your 1000+ Posts, I think this is the first time you said something remotely close to being "Nice" about KnC I think the "Nice" reply is for the fact that i doubled my bitcoins without doing anything, not for the fact that KnC held up to their agreement. So i guess we will have to wait more until Avenger will post anything "nice" about KnC

Remember, this isnīt the good old days where one month of mining makes up for 40% of equipment cost.
The sp30 in the bundle offer simply costs double that what you can preorder now. People who placed trust in a company early should be rewarded more than the average joe, rather than be punished.
Early bird bundles typically have some advantage to them.
Again, i donīt blame spondoolies for steep discounts but i hope specifically in the outlined case, that there will be some kind of bonus. Prices shouldnīt be designed to punish those who payed earlier, with less reviews etc., having a higher risk in their orders. Wouldnīt you feel like you are being treated badly when you just realized you spent double the amount of money for an order which is only worth a little more?
I can understand paying 20% more for an earlier unit, but double the price?
Also this might make people think twice about ordering, if they feel like they will get the unit for half the price the next month.
These are the good days imo. The difficulty is really slowing down maybe faster and more than everyone thought. AM will need at least one month for their new chips and i'm not aware of anyone else besides KnC who might deploy large amounts of hashrate until we get our units. Just look at this graph http://bitcoin.sipa.be/growth.png Also even if we just had a change in difficulty bitcoinwisdom difficulty chart is looking very good. No more grey Everests and the next difficulty is for the moment projected to be ~10%. Instead of having days where one month of mining makes up for 40% of equipment cost and then 15% and then 0% i would prefer that we have first month 30%, next month 25%, next month 20%.(numbers are a bit random just as an example). You have the advantage of hashing before everyone else. People always pay more for the in-stock miners just to be able to hash faster and sooner than the others. This is your early bird advantage imo. The price was available because of the large number of units (250+) and for this Group Buy. After that we are back to regular prices and at the end of the shipping queue. I don't feel bad for paying $7k for a Jupiter knowing that it's worth around $2k. I mined a lot of bitcoins while everyone was waiting for their end of the queue orders

Today i got my BTC refund from KnC. I advise everyone to go that route! Farewell KnC!
Did you at least get a reasonable rate of exchange? I may tell my friend to go that route. Well they said that they will refund at Bitstamp's exchange rate on the day they make the refund. By the amount of BTC that i received it seems that they did at at ~450$. I'm satisfied. Paid ~14BTC and i got 28.09BTC.

I am talking about the very first bundle batch, who payed 14000$ for an sp10 and sp30, that values the sp30 at 9000$. (Back then there wasnīt any 10%off for ppl having other orders etc.)
I was only wondering wether there would be some kind of bonus for these, most loyal customers who now see themselves in the situation of having overpayed by the factor of 2 on the sp30.
I like steep discounts like the next guy, but these existing customers might feel mistreated.
I got one bundle like that too, but remember that we should be getting our SP30 before everyone else so we should be able to mine some bitcoins before the big increase in difficulty. I/miners always paid a premium for getting in the first batches. (paid 7k$ for a batch 1 Jup and 5k$ for batch 2 Jup and even if the second batch was faster, i got my first one earlier so i mined at lower diff)

THAT IS GREAT THAT YOU GOT YOUR REFUNDI will still provide 100 beers to the one that gets an arrest warrant to any KnC team member. +1 @ Roadstress getting refund, did they send it fiat or BTC? Gives me hope!!
Read my above post. It was BTC! For fiat you will have to wait 1-2 months. Good luck!
