https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1626185.0

- During the first four years, 80% goes to miners and 20% to Founders' Reward (so miners get 10 ZEC per block for first four years, then 6.25 ZEC, and then halving after)

Quindi gli sviluppatori prendono il 20% del mining?

si esatto!

non l'avevano abbassato al 10%?

@eXtremal

miner is not working with NVIDIA on Linux. When I launch it, I get a segfault:

Code:
madPrimeMiner-v1.1
ClientName = '***'  ClientID = ***  InstanceID = ***
Address = 't***'
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'config4cpp::ConfigurationException'
Aborted (core dumped)

Any help would be highly appreciated

bump

'config4cpp::ConfigurationException'

double check your config.txt file. it is not nvidia issue

my config.txt is ok, I double checked it. There's another point in the source file zcashgpuclient.cpp where an exception is not handled correctly:

Code:
    try {
      cfg->lookupList("", "worksizes", cworksizes);
      cfg->lookupList("", "threads", cthreads);
      cfg->lookupList("", "devices", cdevices);
      cfg->lookupList("", "corefreq", ccorespeed);
      cfg->lookupList("", "memfreq", cmemspeed);
      cfg->lookupList("", "powertune", cpowertune);
      cfg->lookupList("", "fanspeed", cfanspeed);
    } catch(const ConfigurationException& ex) {}

come cazz è possibile??
3030  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [SPECULAZIONE] BITCOIN PUMP! on: October 29, 2016, 10:31:55 AM

Sols/s?

1. Install Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
2. Install latest AMDGPU-PRO driver (check if your card supported by driver)
3. Download bins zcashclient-0.2.2.zip
4. Edit config.txt, put your wallet and try to change instances 1 or 2
5. Launch silentarmy bin
6. That's all!

RTFM!

P.S. Got on my 2x RX 470 - 70 sol/s

that's nothing if you have a NVIDIA card! Furthermore, I don't want to download any bin, I want to compile it from source

@eXtremal

could you please clarify how to compile on Ubuntu with NVIDIA cards?

Quote
-DOPENCL_INCLUDE_DIRECTORY=/opt/AMDAPPSDK-3.0/include

What dependancy must be installed? Where is it located?
For me valid /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libOpenCL.so.1

sorry, that's not an include dir:

Quote
cmake ../xpmclient -DOPENCL_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libOpenCL.so -DOPENCL_INCLUDE_DIRECTORY=/opt/AMDAPPSDK-3.0/include

the first env variable is ok to me, but the second is not found

ok, but what gpu miner for Linux with NVIDIA?

How is it built for NVIDIA?

Code:
Ubuntu building commands:

sudo apt-get install libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libzmq5-dev libczmq-dev libgmp-dev libssl-dev libsodium-dev

cmake ../xpmclient -DOPENCL_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libOpenCL.so -DOPENCL_INCLUDE_DIRECTORY=/opt/AMDAPPSDK-3.0/include

This is for AMD!

So still no GPU miner which supports CUDA on Linux?
3039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZCash Mining Guide on: October 28, 2016, 05:43:40 PM
What is supposed to be the best GPU miner for NVIDIA CUDA on Linux, so far?

How is it installed with a NVIDIA card on Ubuntu? Does it require CUDA proprietary drivers? Should we get them from some extra repository?
