What do you like best about Ethereum?
Good smartcontract? Have good future in ico industry? easier to move?
I use ethereum mostly for small transactions because it is way faster and cheaper than bitcoin. You can transfer like 0.001 ETH and you will not worry that the tx fee will be higher than the amount. I also just set the gas to 1 but still quite fast transaction. It have a good price to so it is good to keep or hold as an investment. |

You don't necessarily need a portfolio, most bounty managers will simply accept the first candidate that makes their application. Just ensure that your English, and your other language have good spelling, grammar and language, so that when they check through your post history they will see that you're capable of doing the job.
But it is very rare nowadays, those bounty managers that are choosing the no experienced one to the experienced one. I think that will be my problem in finding the bounty to be translated. P.S. What links or sites should I look to for if I will start my first translation so that I will master the art of translating? Just put your application in any translation bounty you can find. You will get your break someday. There are lots of translation out there, not all can be filled with experienced translator. Do not mind the pay, gather experience and build up your portfolio. Do it just like when you are applying a job in a traditional office. You'll get higher pay as your portfolio improves. |

Now all the markets are crashing down and I don't know what to do with my altcoins. My briefcase fell 30% in a couple of days. I'm afraid I might lose more. Selling or hodl?
I believe your altcoins are down because bitcoin price is down. If that is the case, then you should not panic. Bitcoin will recover and so will your altcoins. But if your altcoin is down in terms of its exchange value in bitcoin, then you should worry. That means, your altcoin is really losing value. |

It shows that there are emerging cryptocurrency out there that can rival with bitcoin someday. And we have to admit that bitcoin still have lots of problems that needs to be solved. I think it is good because it shows that cryptocurrency is alive and competition is good for better service. It drives the crypto world to keep on innovating.
I would not worry if bitcoin dominance drops or increases. If bitcoin drops dominance, I will just trade one crypto to another.

In its whitepaper, it said that its purpose is to move away from third party, which is the bank, when doing transactions. But, I think bitcoin is slowly moving away from that purpose. It is becoming or became a store of value for other crypto. But I still believe that can still be achieved, and if achieved in the future, bitcoin will replace the banking system we have now.

Bitcoin has suffered worse than this slip. It can be worse. And it is too early to tell if 2018 is the worst year for bitcoin. You are comparing it to the best year of bitcoin yet, that is why it looks bad. Wait til the best months is over then say if it is the worst or not.
And if you are a trader, I would not say it is a bad year. I am making good money out of those large swings, so I can say bitcoin has been good to me so far this year.

Its been 2-3 months, and the market size is not increasing, I am worried the fact if I shall continue to look at this market.
You see consolidation and you do not want to look at this market? It is the perfect time to watch and buy the market. You make profits when you buy. Your position in the market makes or breaks profit. And now is the best time to be in. When will you buy? When there is hype again and the price increased a few folds over? That is just like giving away your money. |

Hi I was wondering if selling when you think a dip is coming and buying back in at a lower price? I know it seems obvious to do such a thing if it increases your position in a coin but I've been told this is a risky strategy that requires timing the top and the bottom
It does not have to be selling on top of the price because you cannot perfectly predict the price before it drops. But you can predict if the coin will go down or on a bear trend. Sell if you really are sure of it and buy it again when you know it will be going up again. It will make you profit if it goes down, and profit if it pumps. I do that, but the key here is patience and not to be too greedy. Small profit is good as long as it is constantly coming. |

If you have nothing to hide, then you will not be afraid of KYC. It is a requirement imposed by the government, so exchanges have to abide and so are we. And there is always options if you do not want to do KYC. Choose a good dex and trade there. Or if you just want to turn you crypto into fiat, deal directly to your peers or people in your community. Some of my facebook friends are doing that to avoid large fees from exchanges.

I think bitcoin is the king, so holding altcoins (even ethereum) is high-risk method right now, if bitcoin hits 25-30K many altcoins will drop 100% at latest, so trading is the safest way for me!
Are you saying if bitcoin reach that price, altcoins will be useless? I do not think so. in your opinion what is the safest way to gain 1% daily profit from trading?
There is no safe and sure way to make profit in trading, it is always risky especially if you are targeting daily profit. But for me, what works is scalping the market for small profits. You can do this on large volume coins but needs large capital so that small increase or decrease in price is significant enough to make profit. |

Those are just pump and dump coins, mostly selling ideas that you it can be an easy ride to become milionaire. Very few have real technological ideas that can be helpful in the future. And many are still being fooled by those ideas because of what happened to bitcoin. Bitcoin started as pennies, now look at the value. So many more will be created because it will sell even if it is a shit coin and will be dumped later.

As you say, it is the future of money. Maybe someday we can spend it as we please but that will have to take a long time before it happens. Lots of things needs to be fixed first. Like, government regulations about bitcoin, tx time and fees. These things are not impossible to achieve but takes time. I am positive this will happen someday.

There are lots of cryptos around. I suggest you learn about them here in the forum. 5K is a lot of money and you should be the one deciding where to put it. Do not listen to anyone here suggesting any coin. Do your own research and decide where you want to put it so you won't be blaming anyone if your investments don't make any profit.

Or you could be investing on a dead coin and will never ever gonna be pumped forever. Research the coin you want to invest very well. Even if the coin is expensive, if it have good development, you can easily double your money as well. |

Decentralized currency in a centralized government? I do not think so. I think governments will not let control go out of their hands and that is cryptocurrency is all about. NO controls, no boundaries. It should be universal and can be used anywhere internet can reach. Governments cannot allow that unless they go bankrupt.

Most of the bounty hunters dump immediately upon receiving their tokens. We cannot blame them if they have mouths to feed or bills to pay but most of the time that will cause the price of the token to drop significantly.
If it have a decent value upon release, I'll choose to sell immediately. Otherwise, I will hold the coin til it gets on a decent exchange and have a decent price or it rots on my wallet.
