3021  Economy / Services / Re: Need a "Tax Flag" Made for my Group Project on: June 10, 2014, 08:18:59 PM
Its part of a team building exercise at my company, none of us are really good with photoshop or very creative, so I thought this would be fun to see what people could come up with.  We are not a public tax accounting firm, rather we do the taxes for the engineering firm that we work for.

We are in the U.S.

3023  Economy / Services / Need a "Tax Flag" Made for my Group Project on: June 10, 2014, 05:34:02 PM
Hi Everyone,

Looking for someone who is good/decent with photoshop.  I need a team flag for a company project for my group called, "The Tax Evaders" (we are the tax group for my company).   Use your imagination, and make it fun!

I am willing to pay .02 btc to the person who I select as our winner.  I do not care what you make it in, as long as I can print it on a 11 x 17 piece of paper in color.

Please post entries below, and I will select the one I like the most and send money once i receive the file to my email.

Thanks!

Bobsag, what temperature is the X-1 running at now being over 12 hours into mining?
Exhaust is around 80F, about 5F above the surrounding area, 10F higher than the rest of the room.

Thank you, can you share which power cord came with the X-1 as the other person who has said they received one in the U.S. said they got a foreign power cord and had to run out and get one?

For about the 5th time, what power supply cord will be coming with my unit?  Will I need to find a new cord for every X-1, or will the units ship with a cord that can be plugged into an American outlet?

Yes please let us know the answer to the above question.  If you need extra funding I would be interested, cannot cover the full amount of the loan, but can help out some if needed.

I have 2- 10gh/s bfl miners. I would take .12 shipped and use escrow(i will pay for it) and ill throw in my 336Mh/s black block eruptor

Deal for the 3, do you have a escrow you prefer?
3029  Economy / Computer hardware / Buying Jalapeno's and some Block Eruptors on: June 09, 2014, 10:35:03 PM
Hey Everyone,

Looking to add to my collection of some older gear and to round off my collection of some other stuff.  Please note right off the bat, I will not send payment first.  I have very good rep here from being around for a long time and doing many of these type of deals.  If you do not trust me, we can use escrow at your expense.

Please also take shipping into consideration, you will be sending to 66221 KS.

1) I need certain colors of block eruptors as follows...
0 silver
3 red
1 black
1 shiny red
9 blue
9 gold
10 of whatever last color I am missing

They must be in excellent condition with no scratches anywhere and must come with the jeweled case (also in good condition).

For the bounties above, I am paying .005 btc per eruptor on the list and .0025 per eruptor that is not part of the colors I need.  If sending more than 5, I will add another .01 btc for shipping costs.

You can view the expected payout per eruptor https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/143ac3cc09

2) I am buying jalapeno's, they must get at least 5 GH/s and be in good condition with all original parts and must include power supply and USB cord.  They can be faster than 5 GH/s models, but the price is still the same.  I am paying .05 btc per Jalapeno.  If you sell more than 5, I will add .05 btc to help with shipping.
The expected payout on the Jalapeno is https://tradeblock.com/mining/a/7cbbc7a3b1
As you can see, given the very favorable conditions (ones that will not happen as 15% increase a month is unrealistic, and no electricity cost) you will still make more selling to me than mining with it.

I reserve the right to cancel the deal at any time for any reason.

Thank you for your interest in reading this thread and please let me know either through PM or posting here if there is any interest.  Have a great day!

The 3D games do not take quite that long for me to load, but I am wondering if the live games are ready yet?  I can't seem to find anything saying one way or another, but I cannot load the games no matter which computer/network I use so I was just wondering?

what happens when a wager is graded wrong and the guys that supposed to lose gets the btc and instacashouts?

We must do our best to not make mistakes in the grading process.  Fortunately most of our players are honest players, but we certainly take all the precautions that we can.

I understand things happen, and I am still waiting to get this resolved.  I received an email earlier today asking a few questions and was told they were looking into it.  Not sure how much longer it will take (should be fairly easy to just switch the "lose" to a "win", but then again IDK).

received an email from them in the process of writing this, looks like they are almost done figuring it out, just need to confirm something from me.

Thanks for the quick responses and getting this handled professionally, I appreciate it. Smiley

At current clock, 143w. Fan uses ~7.5W, Rpi uses ~7.5w, so ~128 for the actual miner, not bad. Power consumption will be significantly better on the controller models, as the pis are not configured to change voltage, as well as beta software.

I thought BA said they would be at 75 watts for 100 GH/s?  Was this not achieved?

EDIT:  That is what they are still offering on their website, will there really be that big of a difference with their own control board?

The controller board is needed to control the voltage, so yes. Also thats 75w @ 100 for the X3 not the X1. Fan + pi is a significant overhead for the X1, uses 16W while CGminer is not functioning

Well I suppose we can chalk this up as one more misleading BA statement as their website (right on the X-1 product page) says 100 GH/s and efficiency is 75 W/GH.  I suppose they are only referring to the chip. Kind of underhanded and crummy to advertise it that way if you ask me.  (still not the most surprising thing they have ever done though)

Have you gotten it working?  What power cord came with the unit?

NVM seems to be working

I thought it was confirmed that a mass shipment was en route to you guys?  Is this not happening now or was it ever happening?

So how many X-1's do you have on their way to you that have the Rpi in them?

Did they comment anything about compensation?

I just sent an email, and am posting here for reference, I had a messed up payout on the KC Royals/NY Yankees game.  I bet that the score would be tied at the end of the 1st inning, which it was at 0-0, but the status is Lost.  Can someone please look into my email and get back to me?

There is only one factor in ROI and that is Bitcoin price.

If it goes to 1500 by December and we will all ROI.

Relax.

That is probably the most uninformed, paid shill phrase ever mentioned.  I doubt David would even get on here and be able to agree to that statement.  Go troll elsewhere if you don't want to educate yourself.

Will we be getting power supply cords for our country?  I just got an S2 with a Chinese plug and wasted 3 mining days waiting for a replacement to get delivered.

Yea? can Bobsag get on here and let us know whatever happened to the very first X-1 that was supposedly in transit to him?  Did it every arrive?  Does it work?  Its been over a week, and David has no problem giving minute by minute updates on his X-1, and yet, no one seems to care about the very first one supposedly shipped.
Tracking shows delivery by end of day Monday.

WAIT, is that for the large shipment or the single first one that was sent out?  If it is the single unit (first X-1 shipped) slated for delivery on Monday and was supposedly shipped on the 26th, that is 2 weeks for delivery.  Has it really taken 2 weeks?  I find that very hard to believe.
