$3 a day is what that miner currently makes. I hope they're paying you more than 1x X1.

@david I think everyone in this forum would appreciate it if Blackarrow and company come in here and take into consideration customers' input in regards to the final compensation for batch 1 before making a final decision by themselves.
David, please acknowledge this. Awaiting your response..

Exhaust is around 80F, about 5F above the surrounding area, 10F higher than the rest of the room. Thank you, can you share which power cord came with the X-1 as the other person who has said they received one in the U.S. said they got a foreign power cord and had to run out and get one?

X3 progression ?!
Still able to mine $50 in BTC a day, it's going to be a few more months before they're unprofitable and ready for the customers.

X3 progression ?!
They need to come up with the next stall tactic on the X3. They did a stellar job on the X1, where magically the original controller started working the moment people started asking about the rpi version shipping. I'm sure they'll be able to milk this backplane "problem" for many weeks worth of delay.

Why do you feel your entitled to compensation be glad that your getting your btc back and hope the value goes up.
I understand his though process, BA said that all bitcoins would be converted to USD to pay for production costs, and by not doing so, they were effectively gambling, risk free, with customers money. I understand their position as well, you paid in bitcoin, you get the same amount back. Its just a shitty situation that could all be solved if they would do the job of a halfway decent company and provide some kind of information, ANYTHING would be helpful at this point.

.....and my faith in thinking we would receive X-1's this month is starting to dip low again. Quite frustrating, but on the bright side i just ordered a GAW miner that GUARENTEED to be shipped on the 16th or they will pay the amount it would mine for everyday it is late.
Too bad we had to be the canaries in the coal mine for a company to learn how to do correct compensation eh? *gasp,..choke,..tweet*

After being flamed at on the ecointalk forums for asking this very question, I contacted MinerSource and they stated that they will not know what cords will come with your unit until it arrives at their facility. They will then notify people on whether they need to buy cords or not.
Per ecointalk forums, David said they would do their best to ensure everyone has the correct cord, this was also stated previously in updates. But, the first actual miner, received by MinerSource, did not come with a power cord per Thomas_s, and the first miner, not to a BA employee or reseller, came with the wrong cord (per ecointalk forums). Obviously we know what BA's best is given our current situation, but I think given proper notice from MinerSource I can still order cables and have them arrive in time with my units so I cam holding out for that. (although I would be very unhappy to have to lay down another 10 or so dollars per X-1 along with shipping costs)

We may go ahead and purchase sufficient cables for our US customers. /cheer, once again MinerSource showing why they get the gold amongst all this fail.

I'm not seeing any circuit diagrams for the X3 backplane.
I guess this means they fixed the problem, mass production is underway and we can expect our miners early next week.

Short update:
X1 arrived earlier today, broken cable included, but luckily I had a spare. A wire inside the case blocked the fan from spinning. Have yet to get the unit hashing, but after lots of trial and error, I am at least able to login to the web front-end.
Does it have a pi or a custom controller in it?

1. We control the horizontal and the vertical.
2. The X3 hash boards are going to be taken from the made into an X2 raspberry pie hash farm.
3. No LCD for you lucky X1 customer.
4. Punch and pie for rent a minion customers.
5. X3 customers have 6 teams of engineers working 24 hours a day on the problem.

And if the X3 ever does ship, I really can't see how they can afford to give proper compensation; they'll 100% go bankrupt.
