3121  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph to gambling sites or vice versa. on: October 27, 2020, 04:04:39 PM

2015 coins.ph registered account.

Ilang beses na ako nagsesend from coins.ph to gambling site, walang problema. Di ko nga kinoconsider na risky to in my part.

Di ko pinapayo to sa iba, just sharing my experience.
Ginagamit ko din ang coins.ph before for gambling sites before, Na lock/freeze nila ang account ko and questioned me kung saan ko ko sinsesend sinesend or ginagamit ang funds ko, At the end na bawasan ang limits ko and starting nun hindi ko na ulit ginamit ang coins.ph ko for gambling purposes. Pa swertehan nalang siguro if ma detect ng coins.ph if ginagamit mo ang platform nila for sending and recieving sa gambling sites.

Idk kung ano yang sinasabi mo na malulutasan or maibibigay mong reason to coins.ph pero di talaga advisable yun since nilalabag mo ang tos nila and sila parin may authority. I recommend using non-custodial wallet sa mga gambling sites para iwas aberya.
3122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: October 27, 2020, 03:17:50 PM
In the process of trying to be a future whales you could lost everything, trust me this got me no where and I realized that I've lost tons of money because I was never contented, be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say 'im gonna be rich in 3 years later' this is 1% out of 100% chance that it's ever going to happen, remember, been rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living a good life is.
One of the main problem been in crypto is greediness and once you are not okay with little profit, believe me, it will take you back to poor person. I have been there and I am typing from experience.
I have invested $1k Usdt to bnb for $17/bnb early this year, I made profit of $500 when binance made some announcement which peaked it price to $26/bnb. I refused to sell hoping the price will 2x but March market crash almost made me cry and depressed.

Been a whale isn't easy, they also make loss sometimes but i think most whales don't chase new projects. Anyone can be a whale in any projects because we view them with different specs and taste.
I'm pretty sure that every investor reaches this stage of being not satisfied with the profit they can possibly get and expecting more from it, I myself experienced it and it was a devastating experience, From that kind of situation we learn as an investor/trader that we shouldn't expect based on our ideas but we should expect logically depending on the situation. After that experience, I am very contented with every trade and investment I make as long as I can get a profit even if it is a small or big profit.
3123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Defi project like game pump and dump on: October 27, 2020, 02:23:33 PM
Hype is hype, it will only last for a few years. DeFi is like an ICO in 2017-2018. I agree, we have to be in the right moment, we have to be careful in choosing every hype project to get big profit.

The purpose of creating most DeFi tokens is to pump and dump. When the hype around the DeFi sector falls, they will be replaced by something new. And this is something new, just like ICO, IEO and DeFi will give us a new chance to get a profit.
This is how people in crypto takes advantage of new things, Imagine having DeFi projects that have no real value but has the hype to make people crazy to the point that it exceed the value of the true value of the coin. As long as traders and investors can earn profit whatever the platform it is, they will put some money in it. I'm pretty sure that after this hype is gone, A new way of cliche will be born and will attract investors and will make a new trend into the market. The pump and dump thing isn't a new thing in crypto market, It is done way back before.

3125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hardware Cryptowallet with Fingerprint Authorization on: October 19, 2020, 09:15:33 PM
This wallet appears to be incredible and worth to purchase reasonable cost and solid item. But this security isn't sufficient.
I heard from peoples and watch videos where people easily break the security, including Fingerprint Authorization.
Furthermore, what occurs in case you're sleeping, and somebody utilizes your finger to open it?. Figured your own companion could treachery you.
It is not right to say that this hardware wallet is extraordinary, there are still many hardware wallets that have good technology and security features. The hardware wallet launched by Oleg Gate.io only has fingerprint security, but fingerprint security is different from smartphone fingerprint security. Of course there will be more developments regarding the security they have. The most important security is also in its users. Don't just use it, users also need to keep the hardware wallet safe and can't be accessed by other people.
Technology keeps moving and this kind of product is for me not so incredible, Fingerprint sensors are used for ordinary locks for years now and no wonder that it would be implemented on a hard wallet too. The S1 hard wallet is not that revolutionary but it is good that they gave the option to the market if someone wants this kind of feature. It's a common thing to do that the user will take care of the wallet because it contains your assets, It's most likely the same as a luxurious object on how you should treat the wallet.
3126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: October 19, 2020, 08:14:56 PM
From the start of the lockdown, I tried not to touch my hodlings but it's hard with our current situation. I did sell some of my assets even I'm on the loss because life is getting hard at that time and I feel that I won't sustain last long without my real-life work, It's not part of the plan to give up some assets but the situation decide what to do. I lost almost 20% of my portfolio's value from the start of the pandemic in our country until now.

Ps. I have emergency money within me before the pandemic starts in our country, but it isn't enough to last me for a few months.
3127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: October 19, 2020, 07:48:52 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum is the most potential and good coin. You can invest your money in Bitcoin and Ethereum for making good profit. But don't invest in ripple and bch. In 2018 i buy some ripple and i fully loss my money.
I have the same idea about the potential coin, I am trading Bitcoin and Ethereum for years now and the potential I am seeing before I start trading it is still there after many years of trading it. There are many people who lose money on investing in bitcoin and Ethereum, It is the same in other cryptos like ripple and BCH. It is how you manage your investment for you to keep your profit, You can't just throw money at it and wait for it to grow profits. In Investing there are winners and losers, Just be wise in investing in other cryptos, There are many coins now that is just derived by hyped and can't sustain its value for long term.
3128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 19, 2020, 06:51:28 PM
They are all the same well almost 100% similarity, so there is no need to waste time if you sign up to ten gambling sites you will go bored yourself reading all those TOS, I stopped doing that after reading the last two gambling sites I sign up I figure that I need not bore myself reading all those stuffs almost identical.
There might be a gambling site that has the same TOS but it's not always 100%, There is a casino that needs to submit KYC first before playing or before withdrawing and there is a casino that has a different license that has restricted countries and the restricted countries are different in each casino. It's important nowadays to read TOS because it might give you stress whenever they freeze your account for not abiding by their TOS. There are issues in this forum that the problem is the country that the player is living is banned in accessing the casino but the player bypass it by using VPN which sometimes is also prohibited in the TOS of some casino.

2-3  minutes of reading doesn't hurt that much.
3129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges are guilty of preventing Bitcoin mass adoption on: October 19, 2020, 05:44:45 PM
Without exchanges such as Binance and Huobi, how many of us would have taken cryptocurrency seriously? There are Dex sites, but they have liquidity issues. Peer to peer platforms such as Localbitcoins are plagued with fraud and cheating. So where the users will go, if they want to exchange some of their fiats for cryptocurrency? It will be ungraceful to say that the cryptocurrency exchanges are having a negative impact.
It's true, Exchanges put up a big role in the cryptocurrency world. I'm pretty sure that we won't have so many users continuing to use crypto if there arent a user-friendly exchange. Of course, business is business for those exchange and we can't blame them if they have taken advantage of it. We are the ones who took advantage of the service and it is up to us to stop using their service or make our life hard in having crypto on our wallets.
3130  Other / Archival / Re: Potential shortage of bitcoins? on: October 19, 2020, 04:54:44 PM
Traders and panic sellers will have a big part in this shortage that will happen.
I think they are forgetting to consider that.
When supply is lower means a higher price.
A higher price means a selling point to those who want their cash back. Also, let us not forget the $20k buyers of 2017.
If it hits that mark again then I am sure they won't hesitate to sell.

Ofcourse when the supply is low the price would likely go up because of the demand that it gives to the market, Theoretically, it would happen but there are many things that might happen. For me it
s hard to speculate now about the shortage of bitcoin on what is its effect on the market demand and the price range that bitcoin will show into the market.

I'm pretty sure that most of the 2017 buyers sold their bitcoins unless they believe in bitcoin so much and using it for a long time now, Being new to the crypto market and having a dump like that would be devastating to you, Lossing big in just a short period would take away the confidence of some investors on the ATH of bitcoin.
3131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling License on: October 19, 2020, 04:29:06 PM

Would it make any difference to you if they're registered in Malta or UK where regulations are said to be of the highest standards?

License is important but reputation is everything, I will never play on an online gambling site with a lot of issues even if they have 5 license credited or displayed on their homepage, it will not help you when you encounter issues but for a gambling site that takes care of their reputation and sensitive on their reputation, they see to it that they always render fair decision on every issue.
I think no one will put their money in a gambling site that has a lot of issues, The reliability of a casino is important for the customers because that is a factor of customer that is looking for. I believe that the license just makes the casino get the standards and make the casinos avoid legal issues. I think being a reputable casino is more helpful than having a license in terms of the customer giving trust to the casino. The more reputable the casino is the more the people give a good feedback about the casino, Customers doesn't give a good feedback about the license which is more sensable that the reputation is more important.
3132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All most 75 exchanges and tradings have been dead in 2020 on: October 18, 2020, 06:32:50 PM
Anyone know Bgogo, an exchange that used to be invested in by a lot of large VCs but it didn't seem to be active for a year, only a few markets were traded by bots, and there was no news for the past 1 last year. I used to buy some of their BGGs and joined the IEO last year. But now it seems dead.
I didn't know about this project.

But most of the IEO projects that we have seen and launched from last year to this year, only a few of them remained strong.

And the others, as you have said, almost not active anymore.
This is the cycle of projects, no matter what kind of method they are using on their crowdsale. The dedicated and serious project will stay and the weak project will  be get rid off.

Keeping out on the least trusted exchange can make you feel better about the asset you are hodling, Of course the token is also an important factor. Always remember that never trade a token that is only listed of a single exchange and on top of that is the exchange quality. Always keep  that.
3133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mobile Legends Gambling [Part II] on: October 17, 2020, 10:21:26 PM
lol wildrift isnt out yet , i searched it on the android store  but i heard some are invited for the early access  .

LOL is already out technically but not available yet to anyone. If you were able to pre-register before, you will have access. Lots of users are now playing the game including me but I don't know when will be the official release for everyone.
League of legends wildrift is better than Mobile Legends I can pretty say it. What sucks is that I wasn't able to pre-register, I must have forgot it, I should have been playing by now, grind til become a challenger lol. I read they are going to open the beta in late October, I hope it's true!

I am a mobile legends player and I got a pass as a beta tester in wildrift, I also play league in PC. I think it's too early for us to judge now that wildrift is better than mobile legend in mobile gaming platform. I am a league of legend biased but the controls in wildrift is pretty hard for me compared to mobile legends and bugs keep showing up everytime. I'm sure Wildrift devs will improve control features so it makes it easy for us league players to make our skills all out.

or its his smurf account because its strange to see a low level account that has a guts to run a mini tournament Wink  . ifs fine if they do want to donate money to much stronger players  or it can be thier strat so that thier enemy will get confident and wont play seriously  .

I actually have it on my mind that it might be a smurf account to lure some teams for a match.
Smurfing in a low elo accounts is a sin for some players, it's like not letting those people who play their capabilities with the game.
Smurfing is hard to avoid especially on tournaments, It's a strategy that makes the enemy so comfortable with them and might drop their defense and can also can make an illusions that their main heroes are the one in their profile.  It's too unfair especially in the low elo but smurfing is a thing way back the time. It's just the matter of luck if you are a newbie and you are also fighting real newbies.
3134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Message to Bounty Managers and Participants on: October 17, 2020, 09:30:04 PM
I've experienced this kind of problem before when I'm still managing a certain project. This is a headache for the bounty managers that bounty hunters are obviously cheating. #Proof of Authentication is very important in bounty projects nowadays cause there are too many hunters trying to impersonate somebody. It's really hard for a bounty manager to keep things still especially on the first day of the campaign when cheaters are spamming the spreadsheets with applications. Imagine I got almost 5000 applications before on the first day of the campaign and I'm sure that just 10% of them are real ones who are participating. Thankfully Proof of Authentication on every report makes the filtering easy and resolves the issue. Implementing the rules strictly is needed in the bounty campaigns so you can see the ones who are serious about it or not.
3135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will UNISWAP become a centralized exchange? on: October 17, 2020, 09:18:33 PM
I don't think the developer would be so stupid and rock his own boat, the demand for DeX is on the rise and they are eating deep into CEX volume for now. I personally don't think Uniswap will succeed as a CEX because the space is already saturated and also they are a lot of things that goes into running a CEX
We dont have any say about it and they can decide to do whatever they wanted cause alot of exchange site have changed to CEX. However, If Uniswap decide to become a centralized exchange it not something stupid since they can maximize their platform by creating two exchange platform (one as DEX and others as CEX).
I agree, They should not abandon the original kind of platform they introduced into the market, Adding other features or platforms in their project is more logical just like what Binance do before, They are a centralized exchange and they gave other options for their customers that's why they added Binance DEX as their own decentralized exchange. Sooner or later I am expecting that Uniswap will launch more features or another platform in their exchange so they won't miss any trends in the market and don't lose the community they have gathered.
3136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: October 17, 2020, 08:05:27 PM
Bans are really bad way of answering on criticism, but some projects like Elrond have really good tg groups and there you can talk everything, what are you thinking about project and cryptocurrency future (ofc not in rude form). All projects want to have perfect telegram channel with many positive messages, because it`s face of the project like website. Developers never write on their websites about their weak sides, the same situation you can see in tg channels and groups. I think, there is no way to avoid it
It's true, Banning people or ignoring them can bring such an issue that the project team can't even defend or justify their side, Banning them could make their investors possibly lose trust, Knowing that if someone raises up an issue and not solving it can affect the whole integrity of the project.

That's true, Many project telegram channel I saw before have many hired people to spread the positivity on their channels, I'm not against it but sometimes having too many positivities on the channel wipes out the real issue that needs to be resolve and it gives an illusion to the investors/clients that everything is fine.
3137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 17, 2020, 07:37:27 PM
No I don't use VPN. Because my country doesn't have any specific laws regarding crypto to be honest. But yeah, if they are going to create some laws regarding crypto trading, I will never use VPN because if the government is going to find out that I use proxy to bypass then they might even confiscate my coins and I'll be left with nothing lmao. Best is to play fair.
I think it's not possible for the government to confiscate assets/coins from you even if your government is banning your country citizens to use crypto. The worst thing that might happen to you knowing that you are trading on a centralized exchange is to get your account locked/freeze and give you the hassle to get your assets back by the exchange.

There aren't many good reasons for people to use VPN on an exchange, It can just bring complications like having you detected by the exchange that you are logging in on multiple IP addresses that can make you broke their TOS.
3138  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Pitibet.io ⭐ SPORTS BETTING | WEEKLY PROMOTIONS ⚽🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: October 17, 2020, 04:28:38 AM
I see that your TOS is not available for now or still modifying, It seems you did change your TOS because of the request in this forum, If you really pursue removing the KYC in your casino please see your privacy policy, It is stated there that you will require some KYC to Pitibet clients.

Some members of this forum contact me in private for a sign campaign and we will do it for sure but not right now.

It's a good thing that you plan to launch a campaign. It is one of the most effective way to promote something here. There are many good campaign managers here, Goodluck finding one  Wink
3139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 17, 2020, 03:59:44 AM
Honestly, In the past I don't care about what the casino TOS is, I know it's too risky for me, but it is in the past and it is a good thing that I didn't experience any problem regarding the TOS of the casinos I am playing. But today, If I am playing on a new casino I would read their TOS even I found it a waste of time. There are many issues now about country bans and about using VPN, It's logical for me to see the country restriction of that casino.
3140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is new occupation on: October 16, 2020, 11:58:57 PM
I can consider trading as an occupation, Knowing that many of my mutuals are doing it on a day to day basis. We do have different standards if we are talking about jobs and how we define it. There are jobs that are not ethically classified as a job but it is a job in the real world. I consider trading as a job because a trader is active in it, can possibly make money depending on the activity that the trader is doing, and can make a living in it.
