Quotes and citations needed. No selective editing, omissions, opinion pieces, Snopes, or paraphrasing please.

None of that would matter.  Any quotes or citations will be mislabeled, misconstrued, and misinterpreted, possibly on purpose.  Trump Derangement Syndrome is a single-minded rage that obscures rational evaluation of Trump's actions, and focuses on the negative.  It forces those who suffer from it to go above and beyond the exaggerations of his comments, so far as to fabricate meaning that bolsters their bias.  It is specifically a bias towards bias.

One would think that with a pandemic gripping the world, Americans could put aside partisan bickering and see that the President has done a good job.  He's certainly not perfect, but who among us is?

Maybe you're right.  I hope you are actually.  It really sucks hearing the president say these things during day after day during the WH Press Briefings during a time like this.  It's like a part of me is thinking 'wait, he's the president...this can't be real'...but then it just keeps going.  Sometimes I think I see him ramble on for hours of mostly nonsense.

Do you know of a cure for TDS?  I want to see our president act competent.

Can you help me sort the TDS from reality on something?

I remember seeing Trump say nice things about China and how they're handling the virus before it got bad, but now I seem him saying it's all Chinas fault for ruining the perfect economy he built and he's going to send them a bill.

Which one is the TDS?  Or is he even talking about China at all?

Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days. Nothing is easy, but he will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone. Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!

For the last two months, things have been changing almost daily. That includes our knowledge of the actions of countries, as well as our understanding of the facts regarding Covid-19. Of course you can find contradictory statements by the same person.

Trump's style of speaking extemporaneously certainly may have sometimes confused things at least in some peoples' minds.

My TDS makes me think Trump says whatever he thinks will make him look good (or his opponents look bad) with very little regard for the truth.  Even at White House Press briefings during a national crisis.

Jan 22: "we have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be just fine.”
Feb 19: “in April, supposedly, it dies with the hotter weather. And that’s a beautiful date to look forward to.” "We’re going very substantially down, not up."
Feb 27: “It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear”
Mar 7: “It’s got the world aflutter, but it’ll work out,”

Mar 11: WHO officially declares pandemic.

Mar 17: “I’ve always known this is a, this is a real, this is a pandemic. I’ve felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic. All you had to do is look at other countries. ... No, I’ve always viewed it as very serious.”

I understand your views on vaccines. I'm curious though, do you think Bill Gates is genuinely trying to do good and help the world?  Or do you think it's all an act and he has some master plan and doesn't really give a shit about the people he 'helps'.

Eh, he seems to be rage posting a lot lately.  Definitely not doing himself any favors.

In Jan Trump said the US had experts on the ground working very closely with China and everything was under control.

In Feb Trump said
-China was being transparent and doing a great job handling the virus.
-The virus was a democratic hoax.
-The fed gov was setting up testing centers in store parking lots all over the country
-The virus would weaken when April comes and would disappear like a miracle.
-There were only 14 cases in the county (There were 50 or 60), and soon it would be down to 0.

In March Trump said
- Anyone who wants a test can have a test.
- Private insurance companies agreed to wave all copays for coronavirus treatment. (they didn't)
- All trade with Europe would be suspended. (it wasn't)
- We're going to have a vaccine very soon. (we aren't)
- The FDA approved chloroquine to tread covid-19 (they didn't)

Is that enough or do you need more?

To be penniless after being essentially guaranteed to be rich the rest of your life is a tough pill to swallow. I legitimately feel for him.

I think you're perhaps being a bit too charitable. My sincere guess is that he's sitting on a considerable amount of bitcoin, and the im-so-broke is just a cover story to make recovery attempts sound unattractive. After all, that was his entire defence against investors considering (starting?) expensive legal action against him (along with threats that those would be the last to be "paid back").

We know he originally closed his site when he had secured enough money to basically comfortable retire. Then he only returned to the scene after seeing the ICO craze, and the opportunity to sell millions (!) of dollars of tokens to just reopen his site.

At one point even expressed interest in buying my site, I can't remember exactly but I think the number were were kicking around was ~10M dollars? And he was going to earmark funds for bankrolling it too. So I just don't see how the sudden leap from multi-millionaire with FU money, to penniless supposedly happened. I mean I wouldn't be terribly surprised if he developed a gambling problem or something, and blew everyone's money. But him trying to pretend he's penniless cause of "marketing" and "hacking" is ridiculous.

I could muster some empathy for him if he could be genuine for 30 seconds and try make amends. Until then, I think he's just an unrepentant scammer who is only here to add confusion and try clean up his name.

He's recently started the affiliate hustle, betking.io is now affiliate links and he's been spamming sign up offers to a bunch of other sites to betking emails.

I think he's probably broke, most likely gambled it all away and his database is pretty much the only thing of value he's got left.

I wonder if Bitsler is letting him keep affiliate earnings from the players that sign up through his link and take a refund.  Pretty sweet deal for Dean if he's able claim a bunch of the $200 refunds himself + get a cut of anyone that signs up and blows the $200 or becomes a bitsler regular and maybe even repair his reputation a bit.

What do you think his motivation is?

It seems like you think he's pretending to want to make the world better, but really he's only trying to make it better for himself.  Or am I missing something?

I read your whole post, and I think you've been misguided - will address later.  But really curious about what you think his end game is.

What sites TwattySqueal? You mean the primary sources from the organizations and individuals responsible themselves that I clearly referenced? Should I not believe their own public statements now?
The conspiracy sites that love to bait anti-vaxers any chance they get.  Show me your most legit source that confirms your "embedded chip in the flesh, not a wearable device" theory.

Microsoft files for a patent involving 'body body activity data'. => Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates => Bill Gates is throwing fuck tons of money at developing a covid-19 vaccine for the world => Bill Gates wants to insert his vaccine and microchip into everyone so he can take over the world.

What a great story to get clicks.  Every tin foil hat wackjob will spread the story like wild fire.

Lets look deeper into the patent shall we?

"2. The system of claim 1, wherein the body activity sensed by the sensor comprises at least one of body radiation emitted from the user, body fluid flow, a brain wave, pulse rate or body heat radiation."

https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2020060606&tab=PCTCLAIMS

Now lets look at the function of the quantum dot digital certificate technology.

"Here, we present an approach to encode medical history on a patient using the spatial distribution of biocompatible, near-infrared quantum dots (NIR QDs) in the dermis. QDs are invisible to the naked eye yet detectable when exposed to NIR light."

https://stm.sciencemag.org/content/11/523/eaay7162

Infrared radiation is also defined as "heat radiation" is it not?

"Infrared radiation is popularly known as "heat radiation",[21] but light and electromagnetic waves of any frequency will heat surfaces that absorb them."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infrared#Heat

So in summary, a light or EM wave is technically within the definition of "body heat radiation" and falls well within the parameter of this quantum dot technology once implanted into the body. Perhaps more Snopes will help you?

The cool things about infrared thermometers is that you don't need to stick it in someones mouth or ass or even have any physical contact to get a temperature.

Those near-infrared quantum dots are cool, but they are more of an invisible tattoo than anything. That would be a cool way to store a private key now that I think about it.

Conspiracy sites! Conspiracy sites! Conspiracy sites! That is the only fucking argument you have. I didn't link you conspiracy sites, I linked you MANY primary sources directly from the organizations behind these technologies. All you have are lame ass strawmen like a chump. You have no argument, all you can do now is repeat yourself and demand information I already provided and you have nothing logical to refute with but "CONSPIRACY SITES!" none of which I used for my sources. You are a disingenuous twat that cares more about feeling right than being correct.

You linked to a bunch of interesting stuff, and they were credible sources.  But I'm just not seeing the connection between them and the patent we're discussing.

For example, the quantum dots.  They're just a way of leaving a little tiny message on someone that says 'i got x vaccine on x date'.  Seems like a great idea, especially in places like africa with poor record keeping...but the only connections I see with our discussion is they involve putting things into your skin and vaccines, and Bill Gates is involved in Vaccines and the Patent...

Ahahahah, I've literally heard some conspiracy theories like this. The ones I've heard didn't go as far though, some people were saying that hospitals were way overreporting the amount of deaths from COVID-19 to get more money. I don't think people understand that you can't just report someone dead and move on, you're going to be filling out a lot more paperwork and you're going to get caught very quickly if you're lying.

People folks. People.

Overall I think most hospitals are suffering financially since elective surgeries have all been postponed.  Elective surgeries are expensive, and the bills usually get paid.  Now they gotta pay out a ton of overtime to deal with mostly old people on medicaid or poor uninsured people.

One can only hope....

It's amazing how Trump thought that making everything about himself was an appropriate response in a national crisis. Now he seems to have cancelled the daily briefings and gone back to Twitter. That won't help him outside of his base.

What an epic twitter meltdown today.
He even misspelled 'Hamberger' again.  TBF that is how it sounds.

On friday they tried to make a CNN reporter move to the back row of the briefing, and threatened to get secret service involved but something something free press means he doesn't get to assign seats or pick who gets a press pass.  Then they convinced him he might be hurting himself by acting like an idiot all the time and maybe he shouldn't spend so much time on live TV - his favorite thing in life -  (sir, the press is out to get you, if all they are going to do is lie about the amazing job you're doing...why not just stop talking to them so much?) I feel like he probably thought more about how much he hates the press than anything else this weekend.  Good thing nothing major was happening.
3194  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: April 27, 2020, 04:23:29 AM
The prediction models for deaths and needed capacity for hospitals have proven themselves to be unreliable. There appears to be a bias towards making flashy predictions that make headlines. New York state asked for something like 30,000 ventilators based on these models, was given a small fraction of their request, and ended up having more than needed. Cities and States shut down their economies based on these models, but demand for healthcare has not come close to what the models predicted, even after predictions were revised downward by 90%.
When you're trying to figure out when something that's growing exponentially is going to end, being off by a factor of 10 isn't as big of a miss as it sounds.  From March 15 till the first week of April the number of Cases and Deaths increased by ~100x, they were about to run out of hospital rooms , doctors, nurses and PPE, shutting down public transportation is not an option and nobody knewhow many of the 9 million residents were still in the city.  There were a shitload of unknowns.
Preparing for the worst case scenario isn't wrong just because it didn't happen - the whole narrative of making him out to be 'wrong' is purely political.

Dr. Brix did say in one of the Coronavirus press briefings that anyone who dies *with* coronavirus is counted as dying *from* coronavirus. This is driving up the reported number of deaths.
I'm sure there are some people that tested positive and then got hit by a bus or ODed or something, but in NY (and I think NJ), they stopped testing dead bodies found in their home.  They were estimating 150-200 a day likely Covid deaths were not reported when NY was on that stretch of 700-800 deaths every day for a while.

As time goes on, more people are ignoring the recommendations from health officials and are congregating in public. So the lockdowns are not even going to slow the spread anymore, they will only keep people out of work.
I don't think people congregating in public negate effects of keeping non essential businesses closed.

Most will hang out with the same people, close to their home.

If you just open everything up there will be tons more interactions among strangers coming from far and wide.  Best case is everything just kind of works out - and that's possible.  Worst case is the economy takes even more damage and takes many times longer to recover than if we just did things slowly and methodically.

Please quote the "literal reference" to "wearable tech" you claim this patent is referring to. Once again, you keep making the claim that this is not anything new and is just like devices we already have. I have already explained your claim to this effect is exclusive to what is able to be patented as already referenced.

Seriously?  You need me to hand feed you the text of the actual document we're discussing?

You spent too much time reading the click bait articles about the patent, and not enough reading the actual patent.  Stop letting those site explain stuff like this to you.  If you see a click bait article based on some other article or report (or patent), just read the actual article or report instead and make up your own mind.

3199  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Patent number 060606 - Humans As Cryptocurrency Miners on: April 26, 2020, 11:52:42 PM
The entire concept of the patent relies on using the human body as part of the sensor. If it was not, all you would have here is a Fitbit with crypto taped to it, which would not qualify for a patent. You will also note in the image, there are no arrows going back and forth from the body to the censor, indicating that they are one device.

The patent literally refers to wearable tech like phones or watches, which are already capable of monitoring your body in tons of ways from heart rate and temp to EKGs and blood oxygen levels.

I do wonder if their justification for this is for the mining to offset the costs of maintaining said medical device.

They may not even be planning anything right now.  As soon as a tech giant comes up with an idea that might be valuable, they patent it.  It's like a lottery ticket.  All you need is 1 good one to make up for thousands of duds.

If they already have plans, I bet it's just some variation of the tons of fitness apps already on the market.  Don't see why the consumer would care if their steps were counted on a block chain or not though.

HAHAHAHA! Now I know you are desperate. Nice appeal to "authority", as if Snopes qualifies. Snopes is shit, and so are your pathetic attempts at an argument.

So, you've read the patent, and your conclusion is that they were intending to use it with some sort of device embedded in peoples flesh, instead of something like a smartphone, fitbit, watch...etc.

Pretty nuts how much influence these conspiracy sites have over people.
