Mga sir, ano po masasabi niyo sa ERC20 na airdrops? Maraming nagsisilabasan na ganito eh. Nakatanggap na ba kayo ng ganito?
322  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE Campaign Signature Included]Harlot's Signature Campaign Management Service on: October 25, 2017, 07:34:02 AM
I like how graphics are used such as the joystick and pac man. The design makes it look lively because of the chosen colors and graphics used. Also, the banner is simple and straightforward. No beating around the bush description and just direct to the point standards.
323  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Pagbenta ng mga token on: October 25, 2017, 03:25:35 AM

Salamat.

Check it on coinmarketcap.com tapos hanapin mo kung nakalista naba yung coins mo sa exchanger.

324  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: October 24, 2017, 11:41:17 PM

Do you think they are talking about bitcoin in your basic ECON class?
Bitcoin is of itself an abject lesson in economics. I would be pretty surprised if most up to date colleges don't cover it in their curriculum. I think in some way it is still more up to students to discover the deeper elements of cryto for themselves as the landscape is changing pretty quickly.

Since bitcoin is getting more and more injected into our economies, it might as well should be discussed in economics class. Anyway, its best for students to learn about bitcoin and crypto at an early age. It should be discussed in economics because bitcoin is a part of the community and it affects a country’s market and financial sector. It will continue to expand so knowledge about it should be given especially to the young ones. Classes like economics should keep up to date.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 11:36:41 PM
Instead of keeping your money in the bank and hoping for an interest of max 5%, you invest in btc in order to have the chance to multiply it.

This is a reason why people prefer to buy bitcoin and hold it instead of having their savings in the bank. The small interest given by banks only gives you meager profits, unlike with bitcoin wherein it has the potential to accrue and accumulate. As we can see by judging the price charts, bitcoin continues to experience a price increase throught the year and the trend continues to go upward.

I personally hold bitcoin in the hopes that its value will be very much higher in the future. For me, it is my key to financial freedom.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 23, 2017, 01:44:14 AM
I'm not quite familiar yet to crypto, but how does this airdrop works? or how would you know that there's an airdrop coin?

In an airdrop, new coins or tokens are given away for free. You just give your wallet address and wait for the token to be sent to you. Sometimes, a new or specific wallet is needed to be downloaded by the dev team of that particular token; most of the time you would need to provide an ether wallet like myetherwallet. There are various and different requirements for you to join airdrops but usually it's just easy and open to anyone. You may find airdrops in the altcoin announcement page of this forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do to earn btc and altcoins? on: October 23, 2017, 01:32:51 AM
I earn bitcoins from signature campaign and altcoins from bounty campaigns where we get paid in tokens so after the coin is listed on exchange I sell those tokens depending on the price and get converted to bitcoins as I think both this methods are the best ways to earn bitcoins.

I do the same. I've been earning through the same method. I have also joined bounty campaigns before wherein I am tasked to post and advertise through social media platforms such as twitter or facebook and be paid in tokens or bitcoins.

That's just one of the many efficient ways to earn bitcoin or altcoins. Another way is through freelance jobs or projects. If you have programming or graphic design skills, you may offer this as a service and be paid in bitcoin or altcoin in return.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ico scams on: October 23, 2017, 01:24:42 AM
A lot of people have been scammed by icos lately, and there is nothing new with it because a lot of them are only created to raise a lot of funds, and the make the founders run away from that, it is common nowadays, maybe the half of them are scam, and they all are making false promises to their investors, like saying that they are going to have 3000% return if they invest, it is so easy to find an ico like that in this forum.
That is why i never invest in this kind of programs, it is too risky for me.

Saying that there will be 3000% return of investment is a red flag; it's one of the many signs of a scam.

There has been numerous ICO scams these days and because of this it has discouraged investors to invest on ICOs however there are still some ICOs there that are worth investing on. This also the reason why there has been news that there will be ICO regulations and ICO bans in other countries. We just have to be cautious by researching thoroughly before making an investment.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2017, 11:45:26 AM
Nothing. I don't do anything at all with people who don't like bitcoin. People will always have something bad to say about something, especially when it is experiencing improvement. I don't do anything with people who don't like bitcoin because it is their loss. I wouldn't want to waste my time and effort on those who do not have the interest because people like those are mostly close minded. My words would fall on deaf ears if I were to persuade them any further.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 11:38:06 AM
Yes of course it’s risky. Because we don’t know what can happen tomorrow. The best option will be to invest part of your capital  Smiley

I agree. And of course, after investing a capital in bitcoin, there are other ways on how to earn some profit from it besides waiting for the price to surge up and exchange it.

Always remember that there's always a risk when it comes to money investment. It's either you earn some profit or you loss your capital.
Yes, risk always gets associated with each and every form of money making or money related activities. Importantly with bitcoin what's happening is much risker than the common form of money related activities. Even at this situation, there are people who have turned everything they have into bitcoin and had benefited out of the same.

As there is risk in almost any form of investment or money related activity - then it is best to diversify your investments or portfolio. Invest a little on bitcoin, save some money in the bank, buy some stocks etc. There is risk in each of these so just to maximize your investment, put it in different places. Don't put it in one place because you would lose everything the moment there is a market crashes or collapses in value. Again, a rule of thumb for investors is to never invest what you can't afford to lose.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 22, 2017, 11:12:15 AM
I don't think it would. Bitcoin may have provided opportunities to earn for those who are unemployed or earn insufficiently but to eradicate poverty is a whole different thing. In the first place, bitcoin could not reach those who are poor because you would need internet and a mobile device or computer -- two things that may not be accessed by the poor.

Bitcoin has allowed others to earn or be given some financial freedom but poverty is still present. Even with bitcoin, there will still be poverty because of the structure of our society. Even with new rich men made by bitcoin, there are still others who are poor.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: After 6,000$ When will have 6,500 on: October 22, 2017, 11:00:01 AM
There will definitely be a correction before price touches $6500. When only 4 days left to BTG fork, I don't expect any more drastic surge. Sell walls are increasing. Price is sure to experience a dip after 25h Oct and altcoins will recover. This BTG fork is going opposite to BCH, price is surging before fork and is expected to tank after fork. There definitely be a correction and also Segwit2x fork will be next determinant of price which is highly unpredictable. Bitcoin market tend to be bearish when something unpredictable approaches.

I initially thought that the BTG fork would be the same as the BCH fork but it is turning out to be the opposite as you have said. The price has been increasing before the fork and I did not expect it to break $6000 right before the fork. Prices of alts has been falling. I also agree that it will be hard to tell and predict the price for the november hard fork. I'm just positive that by the end of the year, prices will surpass $6500 or even more.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 10:47:22 AM
Its great idea. We dont know the power of social network, its more than we expect.
Actually, there are many people have done this way for any reason. Now we just continue doing it.

It actually proven and known that social media network is powerful.  It can reach out the entire globe in a matter of minute that is why most company are tapping Social Media to endorse or promote their products.  And I think bitcoin is actually making the best out of social media marketing.

A lot of marketing strategies has utilized the use of social media because it is a very effective communication medium. Instagram is just one of the many platform which can be used and its reach is very wide. I think bitcoin can be found elsewhere and in other social media platforms and sites such as facebook and twitter - a very much used medium in bounty campaigns. ICOs has utilized social media through bounty campaigns where participants have to share and post about the ICO using their social media accounts. This contributes to the publicity of crypto and bitcoin as well.
334  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do ICO's need licenses? on: October 21, 2017, 11:43:28 PM
I'm convinced ICOs will be regulated everywhere very soon, the same way IPOs are. It's only logic since both offerings pursue the same goal (raise capital for a new business), from the same kind of investors (you and me).

I guess it would depend on the country and their legal view of bitcoin. Some may legalize bitcoin but would not require licenses for ICOs because they have not recognized or legalized it. In the future, jurisdictions will stipulate or make some regulations for ICOs because of the numerous scams and frauds. It is the duty of the state to protect its citizens so actions such as this will be done. I agree that it will most probably be regulated just like how IPOs are.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: How much money do you have left from your job? on: October 21, 2017, 11:39:44 PM
The salary in my country is much worse; the minimum is about $10 a day. You could hardly fit all your expenses, and almost little to nothing is left once you spend on your necessities. This is why a lot from my country has taken advantage of earning bitcoins as a sideline income. Bitcoin has provided opportunities for my fellow countrymen to earn more and have some savings because the meager wages could not completely cover up the daily necessities and expenses.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you play the bitcoin game? on: October 21, 2017, 11:34:15 PM
First of all don't be greedy, if you are a greedy person you will have much difficult to achieve your goals on long term with Bitcoins. We as individuals can't compete with empires who have much more power on this world. Try to get maximum as you can buying and keep holding. In some years you will see the results and it will be enough for people who want to develop their lifes, but don't want to be the richest and the most powerful ones...

Greed will destroy you. It has led many others to make bad decisions and experience a lot of loss. Because of the price volatility, a lot has engaged in trading. This is profitable however the others that were driven by greed hasincurred some losses because of desperation. Same has happened to those who gamble.

I also just try to maximize by earning some bitcoin and holding it. Patience and discipline will be needed to play this game.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin trading is very bad now. on: October 21, 2017, 11:27:39 PM
I'm trying to study the best alts to get into until the fork. It's the perfect time to buy these dips. Sys, neo, eth, ltc and a bunch others that are looking very appealing.

This is the best thing to do OP. Research and study first the alts before making a purchase. It is expected for the price of alts to go down before the fork therefore it is also a good time to buy. Maximize your investment by researching and dtermining which one has the most potential. Some alts out there are still worth trading because they may experience a price increase after the fork or in the future.

Instead of purchasing BCG, why not buying some bitcoin instead? I still think that it is a better investment.
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the BTC price go up or down after the 25th Oct fork? on: October 21, 2017, 11:21:19 PM
As of now the price of BTC seems to be picking up, thanks to the upcoming fork and the complimentary BTG it assures to provide. But what after that? Would it be wise to hold BTC even after fork or sell it as soon as BTG is handed to us?

Look at how did Bitcoin Cash fork go. My guess is this will be similar. BCG will probably have some huge swings up and down before finally stabilizing at some value. BTC will maybe jump a bit but real increase in value will probably happen after SegWit2x fork ends in November.

I’ve been having the same thoughts. It’s possible that this fotk will have the same results as the BitcoinCash fork had. Just as what happened in that fork, most of the solid Bitcoin supporters has decided to sell theirBitcoinCash the moment they got it. This may also happen with BitcoinGold because most still highly support BTC and just want to get free money from the alt. As for the price, I’m sure it will experience a steady increase after the fork.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has Arrived in Thailand..... on: October 21, 2017, 11:14:08 PM
Bitcoin is welcome in Thailand...

Thailand has had Bitcoin in place for some time and I see the government is preparing for the future and how to en brass Bitcoin. It is not unusual to see a " We accept Bitcoin " In all type of stores.

This is really great for Thai People and the Tourists that visit......
Good news for the Bitcoin enthusiasts in Thailand and to the whole crypto community. It might give people the financial freedom in that country. Asian countries are looking forward to see potential in Bitcoin investments. I hope that one day adoption and usage of Bitcoin would be like that of Japan whereas they use it locally in department stores and any services. And you are right about the great opportunity and advantage of Bitcoin in tourism because I think it is more convenient in doing transactions with Bitcoins than fiat money when we are on a tour. The only downside of Bitcoin usage is the high transaction fee and the sudden change of price especially when it drops. That is why Bitcoin is perfect for investments purposes only.

I agree that the butcoin adoption in Japan is ideal and I hope that the other countries will have the same kind of bitcoin usage and adoption.

I remember reading an article before saying that in Thailand, they were not allowed to conduct business with the use of bitcoin so I was happy to hear this news. I also agree that this would contribute to the tourism. Its good that despite being a conservative country, Thailand has recognized and adopted this technology.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Bumps on the road to BTC general adaptation, preventing increase in its price on: October 20, 2017, 09:06:37 AM
I agree that there are lot of negative news out there, especially when you search in google. I even had the same experience as you had with faucets. That's where I started and I lost interest because of the numerous ads and meager earnings. I would have been able to invest in bitcoin at an earlier time but because of that, I gave up on it for about a year or two. The price has risen a lot since then.

We can't avoid the negative news. Just with anything, there will always be bad things and negative comments to be said. People throw rocks at things that shine. As bitcoin users, we can only but continue support through the continuous usage and advertisements.
