Any idea when the digibytegroup wil start a new project ? have been checking in a few times over the last month but all i see are those monthly contests and previous projects.

What about a 1 million DGB giveaway contest. It's the stuff people will refer to in the future as totally crazy. A bit like the bitcoin pizza stunt. Doable now while the price is still low. Maybe it's raised within the community and given to a charity. We could use the tip bot to distribute. ;-) Newsworthy perhaps. |

You are welcome here, as far as I’m concerned and so are your comments if that’s your opinion. It’s not as if you do not have a vested personal interest and I also hope you might find other ways to get involved. I’d love to spend some DigiByte in Wales.  "DigiByte in Wales", that's just given me an idea, I will create a web store for traditional Welsh items and sell them only using DGB, maybe this mini project could be mirrored in other countries to sell their unique traditional nicknacks. and all linked together somehow. What's the best PHP/MySQL store script that's compatible with DGB ? I've previously used Opencart and used the Coinpayments Integrations as it works seamlessly. My advice is for people to get their stores up and running with BTC first then when we have critical mass we lobby a payment processor like coinpayments to add us to the list. Payment Processors want to know we aren't wasting their time and have some transactional volume. The biggest hurdle will be getting people to part with their DGB. Start with BTC and then you know you have a real business. |

Many of us will be stuffing ourselves over the holidays, so I thought I’d offer some food for thought for consumption by the general DigiByte community and I came up with pie! The DigiByte pie in the sky club to be precise! We are approaching the New Year and DigiByte’s second birthday. There are over 5.5 billion Digibyte in circulation already and another 19 years of coin production to go before all 21 billion coins will have been minted. Price or low price is often in discussion in this forum and as much as many of us believe it is not the most important aspect of DigiByte right now, it would be dishonest to say it is not of concern at all. So as a community what could we do to increase it? Could we target price at one dollar per Digibyte and actively do something about achieving that? I think this is possible, if we worked as a community, and this is my idea of how we might go about doing just that! A community acts together but it is extremely difficult to ensure that we do act together and not as individuals, people will always be tempted to move first because they know others will if they don’t. Imagine we set up a club (the pie in the sky club) and we limited it to 1 million shares or members of this club. If we set the share value to 10,000 DGB, the total fund would have a potential target value of 10 billion DGB, nearly half of all the DigiByte that will ever be produced. These funds would then be controlled by the trusted club trustees, contractually and legally bound to carry out their activities in accordance within the predetermined rules set out by the community members in a transparent manner so that everyone could see them and be reassured that this DigiByte at least, was off the market and was unable to be dumped onto it. The mandate of the club could be as simple as this. All shares would be paid back to their respective owner, when DigiByte reached a fiat US dollar value of one dollar and remained above that value for 30 consecutive days or 30 days after all 1 million shares were allocated and total fund value was achieved, whichever came first! A $1 share at today’s prices could be worth $10,000 possibly when redeemed, hence ‘pie in the sky’ and if that wasn’t quite achieved, the club would have gone a long way to improving the value of DigiByte anyway. Of course it would take time and cost money to set up a trust like this, so maybe the first hurdle would be to cost and fund that itself but this is the sort of thing that DigiByte Group was set up for, so that the community can do things like this. Maybe each share would come with a management fee, I don’t know because I have not taken this idea any further than it is presented here in front of you the DigiByte community for your consideration. I’m not going to do anything more about it unless the support for it is overwhelming, so tell me what you think! Please discuss and happy holidays everyone! Sounds like a good idea! I am in! I think that digibyte gaming needs to add the ability to generate a referral link.
Right now I can only refer by putting in someone's email. However, if I could get a referral link that would take the person to digibyte gaming and give me credit for their referral, then I could post the link in every LoL game and probably get some referrals, and so could everyone else. It needs to be made easier to refer lots of people, so that we can take this viral.
I don't really think there is an unlimited supply of DGB available for Digibyte Gaming but I sure hope they are restocking their DGB at these low prices. A referral link would certainly help propagate DGB a lot faster, but timing is everything. Right now I'm hoping someone is lining up the ducks, and getting ready to blow this shit out of the water. Because you'll lose the first mover advantage if another crypto moves into this space. |

I basically do not understand why the bagholders do not throw more support on buy side? Do you understand what will happen when lucky losers get their buy orders in 20 sat range filled? I do not think so. This would kill the coin finally, and it is done. This lucky losers could then easily paste large sell pressure and driving price more down until I, you and everyone sells. Chill Bro It's just the market cycle. People buy into Alt's when BTC is falling and sell out of them when it's rising. When the BTC rally is over people will jump back into ALt's and try to find the underpriced bargains. They treat Alt's like USD without the headaches of cashing out. They'll be back. This coin ain't dead even if it goes to 20 sats. The problem you have when you try to support a falling coin is you end up losing out. Let it find it's base and then buy like crazy. |

I had a 64-bit client get stuck there but I restarted wallet and it was ok after that but there is still something not right. If you simply mean closing the wallet and then starting it up, then I've tried that may times. :-( |

There's a nice arbitrage opportunity between Cryptsy and Poloniex now 10% spread There is always cheese in the mouse-trap. I don't see that as an opportunity, the risk factor is far too high. I stopped trading there months ago as the writing was on the wall. Look at the spreads between cryptsy and other exchanges, it signifies people cannot withdraw btc and are having to buy alts and withdraw. Who knows when the alt wallets will run out? Not me, but I'll not be there to experience it and I suggest anyone trading there significantly reduce their exposure to Cryptsy. Fair point, it wasn't that long ago I was able to withdraw BTC and now they're having serious withdraw problems. It kinda reminds me of the time that COINEX.pw disappeared off the radar. Let's see how this plays out. |

My Windows 64bit v4.0 wallet has been synchronising with the network forever and it just stays on 43 weeks behind. I have 9 active connections. Is there something else I need to do?
Please shut down and restart the wallet. Sadly this didn't work either ;-( Was I supposed to install the v4.o wallet in the same place as the previous wallet? Should I revert to the updating the bootstrap file as previously mentioned? I know you are busy so no rush on the answer |

If you don't buy low and sell high, you better give up trading. Obviously I was referring to the people that hold and don't sell despite opportunities to make money and then increase their holdings when the price drops. Staying out of the market during a pump and dump just makes it easier for the P&Ders. |
