@LIMX
From an investor point of view, a few questions:
- Is there a roadmap or something that displays the goals of LIMX?
- What differentiates LIMX from DASH or other DASH based coins?

What's happened to all the conversation here? Seems to have dried up.
What's the latest bitcreditscc? hack_? thelonecrouton?
Was about to ask the same.. Any link to the git?Nevermind, found it: https://github.com/bitcreditscc/bicreditsnewif github is any indicator, then the dev is bringing something big.
Might be big, but the last edit was done 3 days ago on the 0.30.16.8 branch.

It sounds like maybe LIMX changed something in the code
I'd put DASH on it that whatever the hell that is - most likely no biggy for us
edit: I'm actually trying to sell dump my LIMX - but not trying to hard I guess - So I can yet be done with another item called a coin nasty little buggers
Heh, then remove LIMX from your signature! Made any decent profit out of LIMX?

I came across this post in another thread. I'm not a coder and don't know anything about security, so don't shoot me for overreacting. But could someone please explain what it is he's talking about? And if it's dangerous for DASH? So that filcher thinks he is the smartest guy around... So probably what you have to do now is to implement the second part of my suggestion - check if the address, which received 10 LIMX, is one of the masternodes (and make sure no address could be included in that list, if it is not a masternode). ...or whatever you think is right I am sure you are smarter than this cheater Thats an interesting game. Looks like LIMX have some unbidden fan . I suppose that is either a teenager or thirdworlder . Or he just wants to play with you a little He sells his LIMX immediately always bittrex. He manipulated the coinbase and vout. "vin": [ { "coinbase": "03d17601062f503253482f0429db6e55084101522c8506020000", "sequence": 0 } It's very interesting what you learn everything. Dash seems to have some major weaknesses.

What's the minimum amount of SPR needed to start a MN?
Nothing 100% agreed yet. Proposals are around 100 SPR, at the moment, but that just gets you started. Alright thank you. How does it work exactly? The more SPR I have in my MN, the higher the reward or?bump

+1 if I just had an address!

Hey, thanks guys. i'm sorry that i disappeared a bit, but i see things went to hell in my absence. I need to clear my mind, then i'll go into coding and resolve this.
Take it easy there, your health is just as important so don't forget that. I'm having issues with getting the wallet fully synced, it's taking ages.

Holy shit...I just setup my first masternode using Tao's guide. One week ago I had about 2 BTC to play with. Today I have a Dash masternode thanks to a certain coin's 1000% rally this week (and some luck/skill with selling right at the top - myfarm can vouch for that because I urged him to do the same ) . This has been my goal for months now and I'm finally ready to be all-in with Evan and dev team and Dash. I've left myself a small bit of coinage to trade around with (in hope of someday trading up to perhaps a second masternode)...we'll see on that. JL Finally, good to have you onboard! Took you long enough! Since you're in now, does that mean analysis on a more frequent basis?

Hm... Not ubuntu guru but don't think the reboot delete files.. In AIX it delete file in /tmp that's all.
May be send us your complete history... ( take care if there is some things you don't want to share)
Command : history (each user have his history).
Guess it didn't record any history for my user: Ok maybe you have history for the active session. Check the file .bash_history in you home directory. Should see it with. ls -al Then cat .bash_history But your server look more like a freshly new install.. I'm afraid not haha, I think I'm better off re-installing the whole MN.. Looks like your only option as you don't have your config file anyway. Could always download bootstrap or copy and push the datadir from your other nodes to save downloading the blockchain. Kinda ironic given you have a masternode setup guide created. Sorry. Yes you are good for a new install.
Really no idea what happen to you...
Haha, yeah I'm done re-installing already. Don't know, must have been a corrupted Virtual Machine.. Shit happens! Thanks for the tips/help/advice though, appreciated!

As root the find Ok you can downloading it again. And re make your conf file. It disapear.. With care the use of rm and more care the use of rm -R For the conf file (who know) you can try find / -name dash.conf I never used any other command then those I copied from this file: Using find dash.conf results in the same, nothing:

************ Dash Release Update : 11.2.17 ************************ - Fixed the "locking up" issue that would cause masternodes to go offline and general instability - Masternode list changes - Udjin - Better icon images - Crowning - Improved Chinese Translation https://www.dashpay.io/downloads/Thanks, updated! Working flawlessly on all of my MN! EDIT:One MN is having issues, anyone knows what's wrong? Had a couple of these, follow this: su - [password for your root] reboot relogin as user ./dashd I did as you said, but after rebooting and logging in as user this is the first that came up:

I'm more convinced than ever that BTC is basically dead...
...
4) Centralization problems haven't been solved. In the last two years, two major 51% scares have happened, both involving ghash.io. Each time the alarm bells ring, new ideas are offered, and absolutely nothing changes.
You are right on all counts, but on any given day DRK's hash is usually even more centralised than BTC's. Evan and team need to a) Admit the fucking problem and b) Fix it by shifting blockchain security to Masternodes. Most of the code and all of the infrastructure already exists. Blockchain security can and should be practically unbreakable, the same as Darksend and InstantX, not left in the hands of two or three pool ops. Go talk to anyone with serious money about trusting big chunks of it to a mightily 'decentralised' 3 shitty pool servers, all run as cheaply as possible by some noddy from the interwebs, see what reaction you get. Then have the same conversation again but with 3000 servers, n-of-m subsetting, 1/(10^20) attack success probability... your charts might suddenly start to look a bit more exiting than less than a fiftieth of the price of crappy old Bitcoin. Couldn't agree more--and didn't mean to imply that DASH has solved all these problems, either. But at least our devs/community is willing to innovate/tolerate innovation in an effort to solve them. I agree that mining pools create a very frightening problems in any currency, and strongly hope that DASH will adopt a 100% Proof of Service model or a 100% P2Pool model. Bump, any feedback from Evan or the team about this?

I'm not active in this thread, but what exactly are we waiting for? Any announcement I have missed? No worries, still bagholding..

Agreed. Like Evan said, "Nice try though". We should welcome these challenges, Aswan on DCT found a big one with Zombie change, and we are now stronger because of it. Darkcoin has weaknesses, like anything else, the more we find and patch the better it is for all of us.
Like Kelly Clarkson says, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
I've seen other coins (e.g. Navajocoin) do security challenges where the reward was several BTC. This could be put to good use for DRK as well, Google used to do the same for their Chrome browser. Just my 2 cents.
