It can be easily be profitable. The problem is that the bigger the hashrate is the lower the block reward is. A lot of people don't understand this or simply don't care so they mine with a few thousand kh/s. They could earn more by diminishing their hashrate but they're not really clever so they don't  ! This needs a change of mindset. With Bitcoin it was the higher the hashrate the better the reward. With the coins launched after BTC it was almost always the same. This mindset change will take time! yes, dont mine only buy? let else people waste time for mining? |

this makes my old lap top cpu usage to 100%+++
 I have and 8350 + 8GB ram running 40 instances of the wallet, no problems. so could i do at same setup.. no problems 512mb ram slow celeron, 100 orpahans and client is stuck. if there is a problems debug will name multiple orphans as 101, different hash. <--loop is ready. we had same issue with hexx, had to fix it because of some service running on low end servers. not sure about your coin but check this, blackcoin had this problem already. i did not believe it until i tried it my self. |

you are complaining and offering nothing. i numbered your lines to reply to them. 1 glad you got the code 2 work was done and not needed in reference to what code specifically, banking?voting?mining?all?something else? 3 its nice you see an easier solution, care to elaborate? 4 since this will have problems according to you, feel free to write up some suggestions or use github to push down some changes to review? 5 which goals are you uncomfortable with? and how will their implementation cause trouble for the chain? 6 you say its minor and no worries but you are hinting at SERIOUS ISSUES with the current code and the coins future development that seem for you to be obvious, and quick fixes. meanwhile no one else has noticed.   I like the logo. I think we need a vector graphic though so we aren't loosing resolution in larger sizes. i forgot we have that one with better resolution.. this helps |

Yes you can but what kind of profit are we talking about? It depends on your Hard Drive space and you can also use an external drive. I make about 0.0027250 BTC a day with a 3TB external drive. Never had any HD problems. is it worth it? 3tb is not cheap one.. |
