launch should be delayed till amd miner is release, if it dont once the count down finish.

I doubt that'll happen - and it probably shouldn't, really. And believe me, I want an AMD miner out, too.

u got the amd miner dont tell shit to these people

this is amd and cuda race for private miners, u are winning i see

wished old cpu(only) race..

Talking about scam? Some private members got gpu miner and all other public miner only cpu?
u can call it that, wolf0 calls me stupid..
i just see that start is not anymore so fair as i expected
we will see if some guys hit the hash into the moon

I'm having the same issue with solo-mining using the external miner. Any blocks found get error "AcceptBlock FAILED".

I would post my debug.log if you need it but it looks the same as the guy above.

0.9.3 versions solomines and connects just fine with any miner.
but what has changed with 10.++ versions, those wont get miners connected anymore??
649  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Building headless Bitcoin and Bitcoin-qt on Windows on: February 12, 2015, 09:37:47 AM
i had pkg installed earlier as i did it with gpuminer. (copy paste bin/share folders)
now installed pkg again as you told above and now there is one error line less..
 but still this:

./configure: line 21247: syntax error near unexpected token `QTPLATFORM,'
./configure: line 21247: `        PKG_CHECK_MODULES(QTPLATFORM, Qt5PlatformSuppo
rt, QT_LIBS="$QTPLATFORM_LIBS $QT_LIBS")'

edit, solved
to mingw32 folder:
************************
** Install pkg-config **
************************
1. Visit http://www.gtk.org/download/win32.php
2. Search for a version of pkg-config that includes both the Tool and Dev downloads
3. Click and download both the Tool link and the Dev link
4. Open the pkg-config zip file and extract the bin folder to C:\mingw32
5. Open the pkg-config-dev zip file and extract the share folder to C:\mingw32

pkg-config-lite worked fine for me, did you re-run autogen.sh after installing?

no i did not, but copy paste directly to mingw32 folder solved my problem
it works so i let it be now
650  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Building headless Bitcoin and Bitcoin-qt on Windows on: February 11, 2015, 09:17:31 PM
getting some errors with 10.99 master(windows), last time it was fine to compile(2 weeks ago..)

./configure: line 16350: PKG_PROG_PKG_CONFIG: command not found

./configure: line 21247: syntax error near unexpected token `QTPLATFORM,'
./configure: line 21247: `        PKG_CHECK_MODULES(QTPLATFORM, Qt5PlatformSuppo
rt, QT_LIBS="$QTPLATFORM_LIBS $QT_LIBS")'

solution, roll back:
Remove custom pkg.m4 script.

It seems it would probably be a better option to install pkg-config:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pkgconfiglite/files/0.28-1/pkg-config-lite-0.28-1.tar.gz/download
Code:
configure --prefix=/usr && make && make install
I was unable to make autoreconf include m4 files from folders other than /usr/share/aclocal, so I configured it to be installed to /usr.

654  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 24 blocks solved! on: February 01, 2015, 09:33:53 AM
That is why i said that we heave nothing to worry about Wink
Con and Kano are most reputable people here. Even though i can check it i am not wasting my time because as you said it is about the trust in a first place.  ckpool code is public and all is inside. You can take a look so you will know what to check if you want
Yes I trust the operators of this pool and solomining.com. I spread my hash between the 2 pools to try and spread my luck Smiley.

+1
he even added the bestshare option to stats.
it makes some more value to this pools trust.
no one ever reported unpaid blocks.
(and some lucky ones getting tons of paid blocks..)

Captain, is she ok?
She bounces automatically when there's a problem first mate. It appears she bounced yet again.
I only notice because my Tube is running through that other mining software's proxy.
Hi was it an asicminer tube you found the blocks with?
The first block, I am 99% sure it was one of my old Bitfury rigs. The second block was either my Tube or 1 of 2 dragon miners. They all run on the same proxy.
Ok thanks Smiley, reason I asked is that I'm only running 1 tube now solo and didn't know if it was good enough to find a block.
Any miner can find a block. I think somebody found a block with an S1 not too long ago.
Thank you. I've always wondered if all miners have the same ability to find a block. Are some chips better quality than others and better at finding blocks or are all chips basically the same?

im wondering the same thing.
odds should be the same but is there more lucky/better chips..
one of my gpus was the lucky one that allways found all the big shares alone.

ozcoin used to have a  POT  (pay on target) which would pay for specific diff shares at a specific difficulty.. it was fun
their system is oudated for these days.. my idea is to look some values between pot and solopool
and keep the rewards so big that it will be still interesting to gamble and make some more change to hit some btc

tried to write my example easy to read, not to use any formulas that most of people would not get
657  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 24 blocks solved! on: January 23, 2015, 09:31:51 PM
"bestshare": 1036283437.547254

at these high diff days  it makes me think if there is a room for another modified pay on target system.
regular mining is boring..
like X numbers of top shares will be paid( i use 5 top shares here, maybe 5 maybe 50..)
only shares higher than Y will be registered to eliminate problems wtih vardiff ( no reason to register share smaller than 1G?)
highest share cap to register never higher than current diff, shared between lower values on top list(= equals current diff, not possible to bankruptcy pool)

like:
1 topminer share  = 100% (block finder. never higher than 100% of diff value)
2 topminer share  = 70% (true amount of desired share value)
3 topminer share  = 40%
4 topminer share  = 20%
5 topminer share  = 10%
equals 100+50+40+30=240%

they would be paid:
1 topminer share  = 25btc/240x100=10,4 BTC
2 topminer share  = 25btc/240x70=7,29 BTC
3 topminer share  = 25btc/240x40=4,16 BTC
4 topminer share  = 25btc/240x20=2,08 BTC
5 topminer share  = 25btc/240x10=1,04 BTC
equals 24.97BTC (using rounded values here without fees)

worst case scenario:
1 topminer share  = 100% (block finder. never higher than 100% of diff value)
2 topminer share  = 99% (true amount of desired share value)
3 topminer share  = 99%
4 topminer share  = 99%
5 topminer share  = 99%
equals 496%

they would be paid:
1 topminer share  = 25btc/496x100=4,96 BTC
2 topminer share  = 25btc/496x99=4,91 BTC
3 topminer share  = 25btc/496x99=4,91 BTC
4 topminer share  = 25btc/496x99=4,91BTC
5 topminer share  = 25btc/496x99=4,91 BTC
equals 24.6BTC (using rounded values here without fees)

but this leaves me a question:
if pool would only register one best share/user to this top list:
it leaves a change of exploiting payment list with different addresses by one big miner.
or has big miner just earned to take more places  in this top list if got those big shares..

just an idea in my mind..

12G share, thats quite good at this point..
659  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Rental options on: January 23, 2015, 08:20:09 PM
Does anyone use NiceHash for rental at this pool or just MRR?  Just looking for some feedback on the different rental options out there.  NiceHash seems less expensive then MRR.

Eh, I'd trust MRR more.

isnt that cloud service u cant point your miner?
