322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa now wants the removal of cash from their system to create a digital dollar on: May 15, 2020, 07:16:59 PM
Coming from Visa a well known payment system, I take it that blockchain is gaining mainstream attention, even though they are creating their own coin it is appealing to know they recognize the importance of blockchain and the need to have a digital currency and slowly letting go of fiat. One step at a time.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing out tips & strategies on: May 15, 2020, 07:00:25 PM
Here are some links for OTC trade provided by one fellow WOer:

https://genesistrading.com
https://www.b2c2.com
https://cumberland.io
https://www.circle.com/en-gb/trade

Haven't tried myself I'm curious if somebody here tried one of these? Minimum amount could be something like 50-75k?

To me I think any time I feel like cashing out whatever I have, binance has made it very easy for us, meaning I can easily cash out straight into my local bank account, so the days of using third party services to cash out is behind me, although some people may not find it important because they are not interested in kyc but to me it is great and less stressful,  so cashing out process can be different for everyone because we are all from different locations.

Binance is a well-known crypto to crypto exchange. Do they also allow FIAT withdrawals? Btw, is there any link where it's possible to compare the withdrawal limits of all major exchanges?

Yes they do, recently Binance is supporting many African countries to be able to buy, sell and withdraw directly using fiat to the local banks of the supported countries, so yes Binance support fiat deposits and withdrawal to some countries bank accounts, I myself did a deposit transaction on Binance yesterday from my bank,

As for comparing withdrawal limit link,  It will be difficult to get such link, maybe you search to see what you can find.
Before I use luno, but now I don't use them anymore because Binance support fiat deposit and withdrawal in my country now.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: May 14, 2020, 04:52:13 PM
How can you compare bounty with airdrop earning! They are not comparable, bounty is the best to earn more than airdrop,  airdrop usually gives very little token/coin worth $10-20, while in bounty sometimes you can earn very good reward, it is very obvious that bounty give good reward than airdrop.
They are comparable because they are mostly scam so people are comparing
airdrop that pays a little and bounty that promise big but
never pays the participants so they still aren’t comparable?remember that most
of those airdrop and bounty are scammers and the only way
to stop them is to not joining so in time there will be no compliance and the scam
will never be spread.they are asking hunter to join so their
scam project will be advertised for free and after that what?if you are a long time
hunters then you know the answer.

No they are not comparable and before you go condemning bounty campaign, remember not all of them are scammers, there are good ones if you can spend some time to look, and i will repeat it again,  bounty and airdrop are not comparable,
Your current campaign is Called Bounty,  can you compare it with any airdrop? Is there any airdrop that will pay you this much? And please don't tell me different.

326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BNB after 5 years? on: May 14, 2020, 02:56:34 PM
Cz is a smart man and a business oriented type of person who is always looking for new ways to bring into the crypto space, bnb is no longer restricted to discount alone, remember without bnb you can't participate in the binance launchpad, that alone is a huge use case in my opinion, between cz will always create a utility for it to make the value increase.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: May 11, 2020, 08:23:49 AM
Bro it is the same thing with 90% of project that are being introduced into this space all the time, they are just on paper only or should u say on there website only, all the dreams and aspirations of the project are only on the website,  it doesn't get pass there,

They introduce this half baked project with the aim of raising funds to complete them, few of them actually use the money to develop the project and continue developing it, while the the rest of them will just take the money they generate and run away,

There is nothing anyone can do about it, actually this tells you and the rest of us the kind of project they are, such project have a low trust rating in my opinion, any few project today are already 90% completed and developed on their own, the rest are looking for investors money to complete or run away with it.

You are very correct,  most unfinished project are only here to take investors money to complete the project (I.e those that are genuine) and they will develop with the money they raise, but the majority are here to take and run away,  how many project we have seen after raising funds they do nothing with it, and when you ask on there telegram group what is latest development, they give a generic reply like 'soon'
It is because of this attitude that investors stop investing in all this fake project who have nothing except a website.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coindeal token CDL - Should I invest ? on: May 10, 2020, 02:24:00 PM
If you would look at exchange coins like bnb, okb, kcs, ht, that are doing great as an exchange native coin/token, then the idea is not such a bad one, I think you should not just look at the volume alone but the supply, utility of the token and the exchange team, how credible  is the exchange, how committed the team are to the development of the exchange, then make your decision,
You can always invest just a little amount if you think it is worth it.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: May 10, 2020, 09:15:18 AM
It is not helping because are living in the state of fear, not knowing what will happen next, your daily activities has been put to a stop, the entire world is in a standstill, businesses have been shot down, everything is going at a very slow pace,  even btc halving is also not left out, price is not spiking as was expected because of the situation, covid-19 has done a lot of damage.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: May 10, 2020, 09:08:54 AM
Becareful of fake promises from new projects, some use cases can never be possible on blockchain and many don't know this, I've neglected some projects because of this, why are investors fooling themselves? The warning that says ' stay away from offers that are too good to be true' is not entirely talking about profits only, sometimes it's more than that, how can we be promised that a city will use A.I technology when no single A.I project is successful in crypto space? Be wise fellas, some things will never work on blockchain, at least not this time
That's why I never invest in technology. Here, I only care about profit. Projects with realistic vision, good MVP products and community, I will evaluate and can invest. And for AI technology projects and a lot of promise of huge profits, that wouldn't be my goal. At least they got it wrong about how this market works, we just need the money, we dont need your technology!

Yes, for now this are the kind of project that are succeeding in blockchain at present,  too much elaborate project sounds unrealistic as of now, maybe later in future we can see such project able to survive,  for now, we should stick to project with realistic and achievable ideas that can be useful or provide services in blockchain, something that can sell.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you view an ICO project if it was launched by an accredited lawyer? on: May 09, 2020, 07:21:16 AM
Lol! I really don't get why many posters acting like ico is the problem here, the problem is not ico but the people behind it, any good accredited project that have pass through security checks can lunch an ico and be successful even in this hard times, provided they follow  strict  laws and regulations, but since crypto is open for all and no control is why ico has turned shit,
Don't get it twisted, initial coin offering is not the problem because it is a tool or a process of raising fund, but the people who use this process without any form of control or guidelines are the problem,
This is what you get when people are given the freedom to do as they please.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CZ, and Charles Hoskinson takedown Peter Schiff with brilliant responses!!! on: May 09, 2020, 07:02:40 AM
Crypto is full of criticism, irrelevant ones for that matter, now the response of cz and Hoskinson are seen as self advertisement, I don't think this guys really need to tweet to be known anymore, back in 2013/14, this would have been the case, but now they are big players, they saw an inappropriate post about btc, they respond as crypto pioneers, I don't get why some people have problem with that, everyone is entitled to their opinion and the way they run their business, who don't like it can always look elsewhere for a better alternative.

333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which investment is a safe haven Gold or Bitcoin? on: May 09, 2020, 06:47:41 AM
Gold is lot more safer, less risk and less profitable, Gold has been in existence for so long, from where I come from, women buy gold to preserve their money, it is a safe heaven for most of them, when things are rough, they sell their gold to get ahead,
Btc on the other hand is full of risk and also can be very profitable, this is limited to those who understand crypto, if you can take the risk, then btc will be your best choice, if not, Gold is much safer and can do long term without any worry.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will More Countries Introduce Crypto-friendly Legislation? on: May 08, 2020, 08:59:21 AM
In the past two months,, some countries have been attracting attention in strengthening cryptocurrency adoption. Financial regulators and legislators in India, South Korea, Germany, and France have all passed crypto-friendly laws, which has eased their attitudes towards cryptocurrencies.

These new legislations are seen as bullish signals by the crypto community. In other words, these four countries are seen as leaders in other countries, and they may lead more countries to warm up for cryptocurrencies in the future.

How do you think about this?

From my own personal point of view, I think crypto friendly regulations are good for the better sanitization of the crypto space,  I mean look around, things are not in order nor are they mostly done properly, it is because of regulations we are able to co-exist as people in our homes, countries, if you want to have a smooth and healthy crypto environment, and a mass adoption of both government and individual's all around the world,  friendly regulations is important.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to my Bitcoins from 2012? BitMe & VirWox on: May 08, 2020, 08:43:32 AM
So I had Bitme and VirWox accounts back in 2012 when I had to make some purchases using Bitcoins.

I believe I used Bitme for depositing funds from my bank account and buying bitcoins. And used VirWox for doing transactions online. Or at least this is what I think how it went. It's been such a long time and things were way more confusing back then.

Now, I see that those two don't operate anymore.
Any clues or recommendations as to how I can access my funds I had in these accounts?

Thank you all in advance.

What happen to you for the past 8-9 years that you have to come out now to ask for a clue on how to retrieve your coins, that's a long time ago and you can see those platform don't operate anymore, even if you have their mail and write to them I doubt you will get a response, I don't think you will get your coin back,
since you already forgotten them for such a long time, you should just forget the idea of getting them back.
Sorry to say but that thread above wont do much either, last post was in 2013.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did hex already do 100x in 2020? on: May 05, 2020, 09:00:09 AM
With such supply I would think the price will not go up that much, this is a coin many people tag as scam but some how is doing well, even x10 is huge compared to today's market condition, I think hex has done a great job, both investors and hunters have gain from the project, sometimes some project surprise you.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day dreamer! on: May 05, 2020, 05:17:14 AM
Incase you haven't noticed, it is not just bounty that is down and people can not make good money anymore, even investment is not as profitable as 2017, everything have changed, both doing bounty and investing are not that profitable anymore, back in 2017, most investment brought good returns to investors but now instead of profiting you lose money,
Only very few project can bring profit nowadays, many ieo have failed and investors lose money,  the problem is not just with bounty.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacken ai IEO failed on: May 05, 2020, 05:07:21 AM
What will happen to hacken ai now? The project planned for IEO on oceanX exchange, damn I did warned them about such exchanges, they only sold 18% of 100% tokens for the IEO in 24hrs, that's a big failure, any solution to this?

The team should be the ones looking for solutions not the forum members, as you already said that you did warn them but they never listen, obviously they are in charge and decide what they want for the project,  any solution provided by forum members won't be taken serious, this is their problem they should find a way to sought it out, they didn't solicit for solution so don't worry your head over it.
They can always conduct another ieo in a more decent exchange if they can afford, they took the cheap way and the end result is poor.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GEOMA Dao ICO Discussion on: May 05, 2020, 04:11:11 AM
I saw in the Geoma dao telegram group, they have sent bounty tokens for Twitter, Telegram and Signature campaigns, but for Articles and Youtube they have not sent them for Gas reasons but in my opinion it is not true, maybe the main reason is bounty participants who have got their tokens sell it on forkdelta and it is unfortunate when the project still needs investor funds to register on a large exchange

Ones you distribute bounty tokens before concluding your sale, this is always the result, some hunters are so desperate they sell their token reward for any amount, am not surprise, anyone can sell on those exchange,
the best idea would have been not to distribute at all until exchange listing is finalized and token already trading before they can distribute,
between the pool was not that much so I don't think it should have any significant impact on the project.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM on: May 05, 2020, 04:03:13 AM
You really have to be careful with ico, lately nobody invest on ico project anymore and because of this, it is very difficult for them to raise funds to develop their project (the genuine ones),
Hence many project result to conducting ieo through exchange, ieo's also have their flaws as not many of them have been able to deliver, if you are interested in participating in any ieo, better to join that of a reputable exchange, in this case you have to do your own research and know exchange is best suit your ieo need, as their are different exchange requirements to join ieo.
