We should not forget, that when talking about bitmarket.eu and m4v3r in person, we are still also talking about the following acts, which can be considered criminal:

-misuse of user`s funds
-theft
-running a business without registering
-delaying bankruptcy/insolvency

Two days ago eurid.eu disclosed the requested address to me. So someone may prepare to answer some questions at his local police station quite soon.

@m4v3r: Constantly refering to how hard you work, does not bring you back any credibility, because millions of people also work hard (and even harder than you), without defrauding anybody.

Seems to me, like reopening the site this week is just another broken promise in the chain of broken promises.
I would not be surprised, if it remains closed forever, following an announcement, that reads something like this:

"Dear users, I have again very bad news for you. Somehow (by an unknown virus, another hack, or a stupid mistake) the user-database was destroyed completely and all user-data from bitmarket.eu is now lost. I am very sorry, but from now on you will have to provide us with explicit evidence, what exact amount of bitcoins you were holding at our site, in order for us to proceed with the repayment plan. So please do not post angry comments, because I am sooo sorry..."

But of course you are free to prove me wrong.
BTW I submitted my application to eurid.eu.

Regarding the address of our bitmarket-admin, there is also the possibility to submit a request to the domain-register (eurid.eu). One has to submit an application form, that could be written in any of the european languages.

First when I visited the eurid-website I could not find the application form. So I wrote an e-mail to info@eurid.eu and told them what happend with bitmarket.eu and why I would like them to disclose the address of the registrant (i.e. our beloved bitmarket-admin).
Although I still have to submit the application, their answer was quite promising and they also sent me the german version of the application form (because the form in the link above is in english).

Should I get the address of the registrant it is very likely, that I am not allowed to share it with the public, so if anyone is also interested in the address of our bitmarket-admin, you may give it a chance and submit a request to eurid.

@m4v3r: You have got my bankaccount-data, you have got my ebayaccount-data and not only mine, but from hundreds of users - you could easily get everybodies address with that, but you do not want to disclose your relevant postal address, although for legal reasons you should?

So anybody still interested in "investing"? For those who honestly want to travel to Helsinki: you should assess the risks carefully, take a lawyer of your own choice, take him with you and if you do not have the resources to pay for a lawyer, leave this hole shady buisness-plan. If not, take at least two or three of your best buddies with you, so you can not be forced to sign anything in Helsinki.
I do not want to stop anyone to feel ashamed for a third time though - it is your choice.

To my third question: I checked the whois-protocol at eurid.eu, but they seem not to disclose the address of the registrant (there is only an email-address). One address is disclosed, but that seems to be the address of the hosting service.

I am honestly not willing to discuss any plans/ideas regarding the relaunch of bitmarket.eu, as I will not be involved in this.
At the moment I have only three questions, which I want to be answered within a reasonable time-frame (i.e. 2-3 days).:

-Can bitmarket-admin confirm, that he owes me 47,6258 bitcoins? (My username at bitmarket.eu is fluppisippi.)

-To which bitcoinaddress(es) were the latest 620 stolen bitcoins sent? (Maybe bitmarket-admin already told us, but I could not find it)

-What is the postal address of the person that is legally responsible for bitmarket.eu in Poland? In case bitmarket.eu beeing a legal entity, what is its address?

I will also write an email with the same questions to bitmarket-admin, so you do not need to make your address public (although for legal reasons it should be).

I already posted in the newbies section (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=129803.msg1574937#msg1574937) but since I am now allowed to post here, I have some additional points to make..

-relaunching the site can and will not be successful unless you recover at least the losses of the latest theft, because those coins belonged to people that wanted to give bitmarket.eu a second chance - others stayed away from the site and did so rightfully.

-your ideas about new services are illusionary and will not bring users back because everybody knows who is involved with the site. So in fact you try to create a complete new exchange, what you could do any time with any personal you would like to choose. mralbi mentioned a "debt-situation" and that bitmarket-admin could therefore be forced to cooperate in developing the new site. I consider such a debtsituation and force the worst situation to start a new buisness/site. Also look what bitcoin-central did; they registered as a PSP in cooperation with a bank, that is also unprecedented in the bitcoinworld - nowhere are your bitcoins more secure than there, but does anyone care? The point is: Just because there is an idea does not mean that people will follow as you would like them to.

-what mralbi also does (although it is maybe not his intention) is trying to bring people into doubling down on there their lost bitcoins, which can and will only lead to further losses, because of what I said before.

-your questionaire is null and void, because of the second incident, which changed many peoples mind.

So that is it for now, I see only one way to go forward and that is official bancruptcy in courts. bitmarket-admin will have his chance to come clean there (I do not expect him to get a prison term) and the users will get what is left of bitmarket.eu. Also remember, if bitmarket-admin has to sell everything he owns, do not forget the website and its code, so there will be maybe more to get in courts, than what is offered to you right now.

Hi there everybody,

I lost around 50 btc in the second theft/"hack" at bitmarket.eu. The questionaire ended before this incident. I already wrote an email to the administrator of bitmarket.eu, that i do neither intent to donate these coins nor am I interested in cooperating with any kind of solution that will be brought up by any person affiliated with bitmarket.eu or the group of new investors.

I will insist on the payout of my stolen bitcoins and I am considering legal action, if I do not get my bitcoins back until the end of march.

As far as I am concerned, I do not believe in the "official information".
To me the second incident smells like screwing the users all over again - steeling their bitcoins and gamble with them.
M4v3r said, there is the chance, that the latest 620 bitcoins could be paid back very soon. He considers himself a security guy and despite this he had his server and the wallet open to the world. No no no, there is something wrong in the state of denmark and I am not gonna take it.
If I have to go the judicial path, so be it. What I will get then I do not know, but at least I tried.

I would like to post there, because I also lost bitcoins at bitmarket.eu. - and to be honest: right now i am trying to find some users, that are also considering legal action, if they do not get there bitcoins back.

I could open a thread in the newbies section, but most of the people, that suffered a loss at bitmarket.eu will probably not read it there.

I noticed their announcement, but as said, i cannot believe it. What happened this time happened before, when they alleged it was a hack. I mean, it happens because of the same reason. I just wonder, what they will tell us next time - for sure these things will happen again and again.

By the way, what ensures us, the users, whether a trade was erroneous or not. Right after the crash prices went up over 1.50$, this is very unlikely to happen, isn't it?

i am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself.
Yesterday at mtgox strange things happened again - prices went up to over 1 million/btc and then crashed to a fraction of a dollar-cent.
I do not believe it has been the last time, that we experience such things and by now i do not even believe, that there was a real hack at mtgox.
At bitcoincharts.com i watched this huge buy order of >2million btc - guess how all the bots will go crazy, if someone puts such an order.



mtgox explained, that there have been erroneous trades and something on their testing-site caused these trades.

Sorry but i can't believe this - it is the third time, that i watched such weird things going on at mtgox. So what is the real reason for this? Hacking?
Or could it be,  that in fact there is no free market making the price, but mtgox themselves are making the price and their bots are going wild from time to time?

I know that any answer would not convince me entirely of what really is going on at mtgox, but for sure nobody can convince me, that prices are not manipulated - mtgox needs to provide further proof and in fact only an independent investigation could provide this.

What do you think? Please don't get me wrong, i am still enthused about bitcoin and i would not like to see prices crashing.
