In two weeks, everything will be forgotten.

Prepare for the BLITZ!

Buy the dip is a fools errand. I'm not even sure buy the crash is wise at this point.

The "bitcoin can only go up, buy every dip!" crowd has been getting rewarded for an abnormally long amount of time, so it's inevitable a bear market rape correction sweeps in at some point to dislodge a fool and his money.

Yes, it's called gamblers fallacy. Smiley

not to be confused with the gamblers' fellatio, that usually involves a cock, a roach and some pinacoladas...

Panic now or wait till 1945 is breached and the flood gates open to $16xx?

Lots of resistance inbetween.:

1945 - 1933 - 1929 - 1918 - 1914 - 1870 - 1848 - 1815 - 1789 ...

If 1789 does not hold, we will sure as hell fall back into the early middle-ages ... could aswell be the end of civilization...

It's not clear to me, is what just happened even possible on main net?

No, because there's no way anybody would risk real money with SegWit2X clown code.

The '6000 blocks mined in day' talking point distraction is obfuscating the real problem that the code then got stuck when the (accelerated) HF happened ... you know like the piece of the code that whole client is in existence because ... it's raison d'etre is broken.

They should be thanking whoever accelerated the '6000 blocks in one day' for showing them their fundamental brokenness bugs (how fucked they are) ... instead we get BS talking points about ASICs on testnet, wah-wah, who knew?

It wouldn't be that hard to know WHO did the accelerated mining. The past couple of days the segwit signaling dropped significantly... Maybe Bitfury directed some of its hashing power to testnet?

Anyways.... isn't what has just hapened in testnet the exact intended behaviour for mainnet? I mean, bigblockers win and smallblockers get frozen IF they don't have enough hashpower.

As I understand it, the "bigblockers' Segwit2X" just managed to get frozen on a block, that is even smaller than 1MB. And now they can neither mine a block that is bigger nor smaller than 1MB.

So bad luck for them...

quite likely, that Proudhon is still among us - but probably no longer as Proudhon.

Someone please confirm.

There never was too much blood in the water anyways, and it seems most people like me already expected sideways or down until Aug 1. Nothing concerning as of yet, whales are likely sleeping right now as well. Just be happy we are still above 2000, this may not hold true during August Smiley

No worries here. I'm just fine with any direction.

Anyone got an idea, why namecoin is holding relatively well today? - I'm just a bit surprised, because it's the most similar coin to bitcoin. If bitcoin would be falling because of hardforking concerns, namecoin should even fall more, no?

So,...:

...just in case ...

It looks like the crocodile's jaws snapped shut.

Everybody still got all of his limbs? Does not seem like there is much blood in the water yet?

https://news.bitcoin.com/polish-authorities-issue-sweeping-condemnation-of-bitcoin-and-other-digital-currencies/

Quote
Polish authorities, regulators, and banks issued a sweeping statement warning of the risk of bitcoin, ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies. They said these currencies are not national or legal tender and cannot be used to pay taxes. They do not fall within the guidelines provided by Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Businesses, especially, should be wary about adopting or trying to use “virtual currencies.”

 oh vey! really? no taxes?

Bitcoin has never continued rallying after a down week but if this was anything else I would say it was on its way to $5000

My favorite chart indicator is clearly showing green.

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: July 02, 2017, 10:24:30 PM
So you still active in crypto?

You are now in alts or you are out, fully?

Fully out.

Sold a big bunch of Alts in order to buy a big load of Mescaline b4 my fav darknet vendor (gammagoblin) stopped peddling Mescaline for good.....it was a bad time to sell but I felt compelled to do it for this reason.

Got that used to watching Bitcoin though, it has become a habit that I have gotten into and will likely always do.....not a bad thing.....good to keep abreast of what is happening in various markets.

Two things Mat:

EDIT: because of unfunnyness ...

1. hope you are doing fine.

2. Cheers
