321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 millions people to become millionaires are being created in public on: April 27, 2017, 09:48:48 AM
i think 60 years later when the bitcoin supply has capped to almost the 21 million, if there are at least 21 million people holding a minimum of .95 btc each, they are millionaire. lol it is true if the bitcoin is good for development.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 26, 2017, 10:14:24 AM
if those transactions are insubstantial and affecting the core, then the fee resulting the slow confirmation which forced us to pay more fee is unfair, if those are regular transaction, it is fair by its weight. i don't really understand why we would have to pay such a high amount of transaction fee nowadays.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yep.. BU absolutely definitely possibly maybe ready for prime time.. on: April 25, 2017, 10:03:18 AM
that's why the bitcoin core is the only valid client/node in the bitcoin network.
let's get the things straight: bitcoin's protocol is not to be destroyed by any method, else the itself wouldn't be called 'bitcoin'.
324  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: April 23, 2017, 01:30:56 AM
So, I was browsing back the thread to see if any participants still use the avatar I made so I can give a bonus of 0.03 BTC, when I reached this:

hey namworld, please do not abandon this thread, which makes this signature campaign suspicious. wouldn't that be?

what is he next payment? should be done today. Huh btw why is this thread like abandoned?

wow man, this signature campaign is just like a spectacular thing since i was moved from YoBit. unlike others, you are paying off-topic posts (as long as it is constructive). this could be a method to widen your advertisement coverage. btw this thread is not to be dead to ensure people will be able to voice or report issues.

How is this called???

Why he/she has the impression this thread is dead or abandoned???

Also please don't replay here! you should better do it in a PM to yahooo as he is the one that will handle this situation!

P.S. I will not check again to see if anyone has the avatars I made sorry!

a major apology for probably spamming about the whine, because i was really concerned about the payment per week, leading the hurry of me. the last time i did it again, was sent to the yahoo's mailbox rather than here. thanks for the reminder.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: April 22, 2017, 12:04:50 AM
i mainly use the blockchain wallet due to its free to use matter. it is far less problem than the bitcoin core such as synchronising (like multibit, you don't need to sync either). if those funds are vital for the future, better use physical wallet (but i don't often use it).
326  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Large scale mining operations discussion on: April 21, 2017, 11:50:38 PM
how would you control for instance 20+ gpu's? on several different setups or?
he might be using multiple PC to do it, because the multiple GPU is depending on how many PCIe slot the motherboard has.
simply buy more computer then send it to the same pool's account.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex turning into Mt. Gox? on: April 20, 2017, 06:52:01 AM
i think bitfinex has failed to do something about AML in case. in the homepage, when you are not logged in, you can barely see the stuff inside. the design of the bitfinex website is not detailed and suspicious. Huh hopefully you still can withdraw.

329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which one to buy? Stocks Houses Gold or Bitcoin or Bonds? on: April 18, 2017, 01:50:31 AM
stocks: i would prefer some of the companies like AMD which will be soon going up and/or having a stable return. for houses, it is not a great deal when other people need houses (better not to invest, subject to the lawful problem). for gold, i will be buying some, but the gold outside the earth is unlimited. for bitcoin, it has nothing backed but can only be a great investment for up to 20~30 years until it is saturated. for bonds, buy some 30 years.
330  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex or Bittrex on: April 17, 2017, 01:41:30 AM
i have been using Poloniex for a pretty long time a few months ago, and i found that polo is better on pure altcoin trading. IIRC comparing to bittrex polo has a chatbox (trollbox), not bittrex. however, i haven't seen bittrex so i cannot provide any opinion other than some of the abandoned altcoin available for trading in bittrex.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PCI-e to 16x for litecoin mining on laptop on: April 17, 2017, 12:21:22 AM
yes, if your miners/ ASICs are based on Scrypt. by the way, you need to have a certain web speed in order to work in litecoin network. make sure your PC is not gonna overload in the case, so i would also wish to ask the series of your PC.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 16, 2017, 03:52:14 AM
Yesterday I was transact some money and I have no problem :/ I have no idea there were so many unconfirmed transaction until now. And yes, of course we need bigger blocks because more and more people are using btc and that will be more and more difficult to make a transaction, I hope this problem will be solved soon, especial now, Easter.

ETH probably spamming to promote their awesome blockchain  mean time in BTC idiots are fighting Segwit/notSegwit.
1MB block no limit. ***
When BTC spammed ETH blockchain they forked 2x in 3weeks... Problem solved.
And this is main difference between those coins BTC can be played like children in kindergarden.

is that the reason bitcoin having so many unconfirmed transactions, to force people to use ETH? which means bitcoin unlimited and/or SegWit have nothing to do so? Huh wow ETH is a troll towards bitcoin for this.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 15, 2017, 07:36:05 AM
I thinks with $238,789,000 volume per day, this is Still normal
Thanks

yup because the price of bitcoin affecting the volume in US dollar. if the bitcoin transacting volume in Us dollar is the same but 1/5 of the current bitcoin price, then it will be another situation (your transaction is gonna last forever to confirm Tongue).
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60,000 Unconfirmed transaction and counting on: April 15, 2017, 12:42:28 AM
IIRC the another contributing factor of leading to 60.000+ unconfirmed transactions is because the problem of the bitcoin mixing, you know bitcoin laundering requires a lot of addresses and transactions each other.
335  Economy / Lending / Re: ★ ★ ★ LENDING ► CONDORAS SERVICE ◄ ESCROW ★ ★ ★ on: April 13, 2017, 12:04:25 AM
first of all, bad news: i have been forgetting your repayment. good news: Letyouearn has confirmed that the repayment to me is most likely in this month, so that the fund i am still owing you can be repaid as soon as he paid me (i will give him the repayment address to pay <the amount i am still owing> and my address to pay <.071 - owed fund>).

1 Letyouearn has been defaulting me .07 since early December 2016, and i have not been charging anything of late due.
expect at least .01 repayment from me the following Monday / Tuesday.
336  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones are vital to bitcoin growth on: April 12, 2017, 11:59:16 PM
but in fact the majority is not able to afford the blockchain itself, so the alternate client will help growing the bitcoin growth without the problem of loading the blockchain. the original bitcoin wallet is almost a nightmare to me as i will have to download all the blockchain data IIRC.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coindesk: If hardfork with BTU, major exchanges will list it as an Alt Coin on: April 12, 2017, 02:57:48 AM
i would as well believe that BTU will be considered as an altcoin, unless there are at least half of the users use the BTU instead of core or anything else.
That's true for majority bitcoiner, but if BU community really solid, then BU will stay alive and i think majority bitcoiner will dump their BU for extra BTC, fiat or other cryptocurrency.
Did you see what is the proof if the BU community is a solid community? If they're a solid community and they were not spreading a lie to gain more new supporter for the BU itself.

That's exactly why i use word IF Roll Eyes

In short, it's win-win solution since everyone could earn extra BTC or BU unless the price dropped Roll Eyes
Doing a hardfork for the bitcoin chain just for a worthless coin like BTU? With the buggy code by the BU dev and Do you think if that is a good solution? according to your win-win solution.
Rather than BU and Extension block is much better.

In my opinion, let them hard fork, so BU will die faster (or become minority chain) and the community/miners will activate UASF which can solve current bitcoin problem.
Also, if BU managed to stay alive, we can sell BU coins for extra money and i think it's win-win solution for me.
as long as the core is not being affected.
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: What keeps Bitcoin price stable? on: April 11, 2017, 05:58:47 AM
the price of bitcoin is mainly depended on the popularity, since bitcoin is not really popular all over the world as of the moment, yet its use is growing fast. the volatile pricing is the result of lacking knowledge towards bitcoin to majority who use bitcoin as investment. moreover, the regulation will matter the price.

The things that keep bitcoin price to be stable is its users. The value in the market depends on the law of supply and demand wherein, if the demand is high, the supply is low and if the supply is high, the demand will be low. Its market is very volatile and fluctuating.

it still depends on how rich they are to buy bitcoin.
339  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Large scale mining operations discussion on: April 11, 2017, 01:59:10 AM
ok then, most of you would go the GPU route i guess

what GPU's would you use?

if i could use the GPU mining, if the price were lower, i would recommend use the AMD pro duo, it has more FLOPS per watt. other than that, i would depend how fast of floating point they are. like GTX1080Ti are mainly for gaming, not mining. i would decrease the clock and have more cores if it could majorly decrease the electricity per core.

yeah i concur, the bitcoin network is as secured as it get, no place for casual mining all is in big farm now
The only reason big farms are profitable because they have profitable conditions.  You could equally have a small amount of miners, or just one, in good conditions and it would still be profitable.

For example, you live in a place with low electricity costs, you buy an Antminer or Avalon miner and put it in your basement/garage, then boom you're mining and it's profitable.  Often it'll still be more profitable than most investments which we forget tend to actually only get ~10-20% per year for people, and this is riskier but it's not so risky that it makes it unreasonable.  Cooling systems etc don't necessarily need to be very good or even in place at all unless you're already doing a big operation.

+1 such as the people who use their heating (if any) as a source of electricity. mining farms would often lead you to be far more busy upon maintaining and/or upgrading the software/hardware; despite it could be more profitable than operating a trading company.
