Gold bugs here is your answer http://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2012/08/peter-schiff-opens-hard-money-bank/

Sad not available to US customer, but still this is the future, well bitcoin is the future.

and if bitcoins had a debt card option, OMG the price of bitcoins would be 10 folds, anyone interested in starting a bitcoin debt card?

I don't understand why more effort hasn't been made in making bitcoins more easily obtained. Bitinstant is great but I still have to haul my butt out of my chair and drive to the bank...
322  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the hell is going on with the price? on: August 14, 2012, 02:16:30 PM
www.btcbalance.net

If you have dozens of addresses with a balance this site kicks ass

I liked the "never ending bull run" adam better than bear adam...
324  Economy / Economics / Re: Does much of gold's market cap eventually go to Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2012, 10:34:29 AM
There are many competing cryptocurrencies now, but none of them offer anything more than what bitcoin offers, and arguably bitcoin has more support and developers.

Bitcoin will have real competition once a cryptocurrency emerges which offers a service bitcoin could not fulfill. Honestly I don't see that happening as bitcoin is able to evolve and improve.

You've got to remember that bitcoin is small-fry.

If it wasn't, it would be an absolutely trivial matter for a US governmental agency to use a 51% attack or something similar to bring down the network. They have some of the brightest minds in coding, and a eleven-figure budgets, we wouldn't stand a chance.

tell that to the piratebay

I think there is some truth to that. The joe-blow media will pay attention again once bitcoin reaches new all-time highs.

How did you avoid the dwolla 30 day "getting to know you before you can transfer to these sites" issue, and the $500 daily limit before KYC verification comes through?

I recently sent $5k to Mt.gox via bank wire. Took 3 days.

Although, it only makes sense for sending those sort of amounts, as it costs something like 60$ total in fees.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: how long did it take to go from $10 to $30 last time? on: August 03, 2012, 09:31:26 AM
day traders sell on down trends.

Long term investors just buy more BTC   Wink

Difference: 101% ADVANTAGE BITCOIN

Gold getting schooled? It's older and more experienced. There are still some tricks up its shiny sleeve. Then it'll have to pass the torch.

Gold is too old to rock, no more rocking for gold.

335  Economy / Speculation / Re: google trends says there is no fuss at all on: August 02, 2012, 04:48:26 PM
i always figured google trends represented NEW exposure. i cant remember the last time i googled bitcoin personally, so the fact that its trending as much as it is would tell me that the community is growing.
