321  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌌WEISS Crypto Casino| 8 BTC + 70 FS Welcome Pack ♠️ Unique February Token Sale on: February 02, 2024, 11:16:09 AM
Why do you offer 8BTC as a welcome bonus if the max withdrawal is 4000€/week? Let's say i depo the 8BTC, wager and make 1BTC profit, that would be in Euro in the amount of $356,521.80 so, i will need close to 75 weeks to withdraw, that's 17.26 months. or close to 1 and a half years.

Another important thing to mention is that any withdrawal will need KYC.

Nice ripoff to the users who don't read the ToS.

Nice observation and this is one of the biggest reason why its important for anyone especially if they always deal a lot of money on online casinos since if they immediately notice that information and immediately deposit some big amount since they find their promotion amazing for sure they would really get ripoff by the rules implemented by this casino. And this one discourage whales to deposit since imagine the timeline they need to go thru before they can get their whole balance to withdraw.

But for small bettor I guess this their fine since they can still fulfill the requirements but now they should be aware if there's sudden implementation like KYC so those people want to try this casino should prepare for that.

I knew some casino that offer this kind of withdrawal limit that is ridiculous as this. We all knew that those big bonus display is max and use for advertisement purposes only. In fact it’s very to complete the wagering requirements for that amount that might take more than a weeks to complete.

It’s nice that this issue is brought up before some whale users here deposit and play in the casino especially that there’s already some user that try this casino and made a positive remark for this casino. I hope that they will adjust this ridiculous withdrawal limit per week.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting rugpulled on: February 02, 2024, 11:08:19 AM

I know most people's challenges lie in how much time is dedicated to research new coins regularly. Often, we focus on well-known projects for quick profits, but what about the long-term utility these newer projects might offer? If we do a consistent 3-4 hour research on new coins daily or on coins which get listed (which I do on the above cex I mentioned) you did see that we can bypass some problems of getting scammed or rug pulled.

The best way to dodge being rug pulled is to avoid investing on shitcoin. It’s very hard to determine rugpull unless the devs already committed because not all scam project is very careless to show the sign that they will abandon the project later.

There’s a lot of instances that a good project turn into scam after the CEO decided to run while other member doesn’t know about it. So the best way to avoid being rugpull is to completely stop engaging on it. Purchase only tokens that listed on high reputation CEX with good amount of volume for a long time.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: February 01, 2024, 03:33:30 PM
Those who get completely addicted to gambling will not accept any obstacles to gamble. They will overcome all obstacles to gamble. Winning is an addiction that once addicted to gambling can never stay away from gambling.  .Those who are addicted to such gambling have a lot of trouble in their future.I am trying to correct myself a little by seeing many people lose all their money to gambling.

FYI winning is not the source of addiction becoming you will obviously not get addicted to play more if you already have a lot of money from profit. The desire of people to win is the root of addiction because if you didn’t desire to have what is out of reach for your right means you will not pursue playing more.

Human greediness to get more is what keeps gambler addicted on playing. Winning is part of the game and you can actually win on different aspect of your life yet you are not addicted. Gambling is a shortcut to earn or lose money that’s why human desire is always turns to addiction when it comes to this activity.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What strategies do you adopt that can help to make millions in sport betting on: January 29, 2024, 05:29:42 PM
After going through the thread below titled "Who says you can't be a millionaire in sports betting?"
I think it's possible using some sporting strategies. I wish to know which strategy have you been using to win big as a gambler.

If only possibility we are talking then the answer is simply yes. The easiest path to get that possibility or chance is to bet on a lottery regularly and pray to god to win the jackpot prize.

But if you are talking about a strategy to realistically hit that goal of becoming a millionaire on gambling then I doubt someone will manage to share areal working strategy here or else many gambler already a millionaire and casino industry will not gonna be booming these days. Even the guy on the example thread is probably already a millionaire before he won that bet since he is betting too high for a high odds bet slip which only people with high bankroll do.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone Calls My Child's Name Bitcoin. on: January 29, 2024, 04:34:34 PM
Actually that's not the purpose of this thread, but more aimed at my son who most people call my son Bitcoin.
And at first I felt uncomfortable because my child had a beautiful name, but over time I got used to it and if my child was called Bitcoin he would definitely respond more because he was used to it. And I'm worried that my child will be called Bitcoin when he grows up, and I also feel uncomfortable if there are questions about Bitcoin because I'm afraid of answering it wrong.

I have worst nickname in my neighborhood even at my school related to my physical appearance. Bitcoin is a really cool nickname especially that it’s background of its origin is a very moving story. I will take Bitcoin all day as my nickname rather than some name which given to you due to your deformity or appearance.

Having a unique makes people always wonder about the origin that gives you a lot pf time to preach about Bitcoin to anyone that is interested. Your story is already enough to convince someone to invest on Bitcoin so you really don’t need to try hard to convince them. Just be proud to your son. He will grow an excellent lad with his unique nickname.
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: January 29, 2024, 04:27:45 PM
There is something that anyone who deliberately registers an account at MetaWin needs to know but is under 18 years old. I hope they actually read this one: Underage Gaming Policy

This is a common rule in any gambling platform regardless of online/offline casino since it’s gambling and only allowed legal to play it. Playing while you are underage on licensed casino will surely caught you later on because of the potential KYC which they can apply later on of the game.

There’s no need to read the terms just to learn if you can play or not if you are underage since all casino only accepts legal age players or else they are breaking the law of the country which the players reside that will cost them to lose their license.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [A POLL] Without Chances of Making Money, Will you still be gambling? on: January 29, 2024, 03:47:10 PM

So, one question I want to ask is, if games were built to be played with money on casinos like we do now, with absolutely no chances of making money even when you win a game, would you still be spending money playing this games or betting on sports games?

This is not gambling if there’s no chance on making of money. We are gambling because of the “chance” even if small to win a profit on a short period of time. It’s a complete waste of money and time to still try on playing a gambling games that will surely make you lose.

We are not gambling to lose and most importantly we will not be entertained if we are losing because there’s no fun on doing it. It’s hypocrisy to its finest to say that they will still play on games that they have a chance to win at all. Same idea with playing skill based game like poker against pro while you literally have zero skills at all to play that game. There’s no fun on losing.
328  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: January 29, 2024, 03:33:43 PM

Last month your website had two scam accusations, but there was no representative from your website responding to these 2 scam accusations, these are the 2 scam accusations I'm talking about:

To be fair, Both accusations is merely sounds a scam accusation but rather a butthurt review from gambler that can’t accept loses. They are both accusing that game or the competition is rigged without any evidence supporting. Probably they are just using their lose experience to create this negative review.

Also this review is on trust pilot which we all know that is popular place to put a fake review. They should file an official complaint on website like AG and CG if they are really serious with their testimony. Most of the reputable casino have those kind of butthurt comments that doesn’t need to be addressed.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking Hidden Gems! on: January 28, 2024, 05:14:23 PM
Could anyone point me in the right direction or share some insights on where to find promising projects or assets worth considering for a market buy?

Seeking hidden gem will just make you frustrated because they will not be hidden gem if they are easy to discover. It’s like finding a dust of gold in a sand.

Much better to just ride the wave on the proven successful investment such as Bitcoin investment rather than those “hidden gem” which you didn’t know if really gem. But if you really want to venture out on alts then focus on L1 and L2 projects because those project typically have a lot of interest and demand that will guarantee your profit. Avoid meme coins and other DeFi shit.

Much better if you will focus on Bitcoin and its ecosystem because it’s the most popular whenever Bitcoin is making a move. Try Stacks(STX).
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 28, 2024, 04:35:45 PM
Women by nature are more conservative than men. They are better manager of resources and know how to prioritise things. This is what is needed for successful gambling because with it, the chances of using funds meant for basic needs in gambling will be minimised.

So do you think women will make better gamblers than men?

Women by nature is also weak on pressure. Strong independent women will not be an advocacy if all woman is like them by nature. Yeah it’s true that all the points that you mention is really crucial characteristics that will help in gambling but the problem is woman will have the courage to enter gambling? Do you see a lot of woman gamble?

Having some good characteristics of a gambler is useless if you don’t have the courage to risk on any bet because you will just be scared to make a move that will affect your decision making.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Having a regular/steady income is important as a gambler. on: January 28, 2024, 04:10:01 PM

Having a steady and regular income is very important as a gambler because it would enable you to scrap out money you should use for gambling, feeding, taking care of yourself and family and other miscellaneous.

This is correct, being financially stable is required on gambling not because you can have good source of bankroll but rather your life will not be badly affected of the gambling result since losing is guaranteed on gambling which means poor people will surely become more in disadvantage since they don’t have good source of income.

Quote
A gambler who has a steady and regular income can have the possibility of winning because his gambling habit can not affect his personal obligations as a man even if he's an addict because being addicted to gambling doesn't actually implies that one will eventually stake all his money on bets but rather someone who plays gambling frequently. By having a steady income, he can take care of other life responsibilities without being affected by his gambling activities and moreover, someone who have a stable income can be aiming to win higher amount in his bets and might be lucky of winning one day and use the money to establish an investment.

Having a regular income doesn’t increase your chance of winning but rather the opposite since you will continue to play more because you still have money until you are just keep repeating the cycle. Unless you are good on skill based gambling there’s no way to increase you winning chance rate on luck based games.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the definition of a Gambler? Do you consider yourself as a Gambler? on: January 28, 2024, 03:44:30 PM
It is unethical to be called a gambler if we only try or test the game,

The moment you play, you are already considered as gambler no matter what is your real intention even if you are trying it because you are already involved. I believe addiction is what bad in the eyes and not the gambling itself because it’s just a game that provides entertainment.

Quote
but the views of other people if we gamble then they are not wrong to call us gamblers, only we personally know only trials, but people's views are very different from what we think. think, just let them say what they say about us, at least we won't harm other people and ourselves

It’s either you will gamble in secret or just ignore others opinion about you because everything that you do makes people judge you when you have a neighbor that is interested to your life.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How fast can one achieve Crypto millionaire status with meme coin? on: January 28, 2024, 03:02:47 PM
Can we truly become Millionaires with meme coins?

Yes you can but the problem is finding the right meme coin that will give astronomical profit. Attaining this achievement requires extremely luck if you are just a normal trader because there’s bunch of meme coin exist and most of them are scam. So it’s like gambling on a x1000xxxx winning chance rate since investing on scam is already equivalent to immediate loss.

I believe meme coin investment is only profitable if you have an insider info about certain project that will give you advance call and can guarantee legitimacy of the meme coin. Without this, you are just gambling with meme coin.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 27, 2024, 04:20:11 PM

I read somewhere there is a study here in our country where 90% of addiction leads to domestic violence, in a country where there is a poor economy every cent and peso counts, so if money is allocated to gambling instead of buying bills and food on the table, there will be an argument that will lead to domestic violence, the wife cannot just take it and it will lead to separation.
This is why addiction is a big concern of our government because the family is the one that will suffer first if the head or any members of the family are addicted, if you're an average-income earner and you're betting, check and moderate yourself or it will lead to domestic violence that ruin your home.

Agree to this and even worst if the family member resorted to loaning which he/she use their property as collateral for money that spend on gambling. This kind of incident usually resulted to violence due to the losses involved.

People reaction as violence on dire situations is pretty common not only in poor country but also in 1st world country because we are talking about ruining the family finances over gambling addiction. But most of this incident happened on poor country because people here always resort to gambling as shortcut to earn quick rich instead of finding job that have a decent salary.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where may we likely see BTC post halving? on: January 27, 2024, 03:14:08 PM
The BTC ETF approval couldn't spur a major price action as expected by many and the only expected important event that could define the the long awaited bull run would be halving

Are you blind? Bitcoin price starts to rally hard above 20K right after the filing of Blackrock Spot Bitcoin ETF which gives confidence that for this approval which really comes true. The effect happened before the approval and not on the day during the approval. It’s common on trading to buy the rumor and sell the news to play smart.

Quote
but question is how long does it take for halving to impact price and are we in that period called "last buying chance before bull run?"

Same with Bitcoin ETF approval. Don’t expect that price fluctuations will happened during the day of the event or on a single day because it’s effect will be distributed for a period of time because confidence on buying is not built on a short period of time. Accumulation happens in long time frame either months or years. Bitcoin mining difficulty will be doubled so Bitcoin price will surely grow in the long run after halving.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 27, 2024, 03:00:35 PM
Yes, it can really depend on the amount of money the gambler has. If you have a lot of money as a gambler, you can really gamble every day, but the risk is really high. And that is not advisable for gamblers who do not have the ability to gamble every day.

So what I read is that in order to win big in gambling, we should gamble every day. Obviously,  the only people who do that are addicted gamblers; they really don't want to gamble.

I think the more you exposed playing gambling will posed you to a lot of risk on losing even with high bankroll just like what you mention. There’s always a tendency that you will become extremely greedy at some point of your game when you encounter a situation that will make you adrenaline rush such as losing terribly on unexpected bets.

So I think gambling in control way and lesser days is the most efficient way to gamble because gambling is a source of entertainment and we shouldn’t rely on it in daily basis but rather on other social activities that doesn’t cost us money.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: January 27, 2024, 12:32:42 PM
I think someone might have been saying you have to be "loaded" to play slots. That term could refer to being super rich or it could mean be super drunk. I say super drunk cause slots are what pays the casinos bills. Noone ever wins long term and you are correct, it's 100% luck not skill. No method can guarantee anything on a slot. Not live, not online.

Precisely, Even more that we are considering here physical slots which has a worst RTP compared to online slot games. I have a terrible experience playing on this kind of slot games.

I watch some of influencers playing this physical slot games and trying to hype it but I don’t understand why they keep playing while they are losing huge amount of money and the only max win they can get is just x2 of their bankroll. Another laughable thing is you will need to call a customer assistance once you win an amount greater than 1Grand.  Cheesy
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gamblers do retired betting gambles on: January 27, 2024, 12:18:17 PM
The safest thing is to not dream of anything with gambling, just have some fun like you use to do when you visit a cinema with your man or woman or friends, if you are the next gambling millionaire it will happen, it's probably part of your fate, but don't bet on it, risk only what you can and be a realistic.

Being optimistic or dreaming is what makes gambling unique and entertaining on its own way. It’s not gambling if you are just playing without thinking about your potential max win.

Gambling is not a job or something that needs to be retired when you already win big. It’s a form of entertainment so I guess considering it as form of entertainment always is the best way to play safe in gambling. People considering gambling as serious source of income are always the one being a victim of severe losses because they can’t think straight in the presence of money. Just play normally and dream high. Just don’t mixed your dream to reality to avoid greediness.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins.ph is expanding on: January 26, 2024, 03:48:59 PM
Coins.ph is to expand it's services into Europe, Latin America, Australia and Africa and any users in these countries either Filipinos or not they can now send crypto in the Philippines. Though US was not on the list but they said securing licenses to this country is way too expensive just like Japan, South Korea and Hongkong but they are aiming to get one in the near future.

For me this is good news to Filipino crypto enthusiasts living and working abroad as they can now send remittances through this cryptocurrency related  innovation without any hassle.

Source: https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/25/24/coinsph-expanding-globally-eyes-slice-of-remittances

Electrum and other crypto wallet already covered global remittances online since CEX offers P2P and OTC transactions to convert crypto to Fiat. I stop using coins.ph long time ago because of their pesky KYC that needs to renew yearly in regular basis just to maintain your limits plus their video KYC that will ask you about all your transaction.

This wallet provider is hassle for those who have a high volume transaction. I still preferred the use of CEX compared to this custodial wallet that has an annoying KYC than CEX.
