THis shouldn't be an avenue to introduce or advise newbies to enter into Bitcoin becasue you want them to earn equally, but remember that, many of these newbies are fond of greediness and with the increase in Bitcoin price, we are expecting more scammers into the community, so, i will not advise any Newbie to enter now.
Yes the greeediness is the biggest barrier with newbies as when i was the newbie has done lots of mistake with greediness and also another thing is Fearness . If market fall bit because of loosinf investent fear took wrong decision . I surely welcome newbie if they ask to enter crytpo currency . But always suggest them to stay away from quick money scams. |

Wechat implemented crypto payment initially but they are cancelling because of fear of getting ban from china . We chat is one of the major platform in China even most of the payment goes through wechat in china . They are afraid about their government. |

I dint lost Bitcoin from scammers but lost some ethereum in cryptopia hack that is still in the form of CLM ( Cryptopia Loss Marker) . Apart form that i dint loose much . Long back i received fund from campaign which was more . I returned it back .

The topic is not bitcoin related and focuses on ICO. But, just to answer it is really difficult to stop developers/people from .aking scam projects. What we can do is to educate our selves and not be lazy and greedy when investing. A lot of investors are blinded by the potential money they could earn from ICO. Of people will just give time doing their research before investing, scam projects will get less support from the crypto community it self, thus giving a higher chance to legitimate project to gain more funds. Maybe this way, if people will just deligently review projects and stop investing and supporting scam ICOs the chance of people getting scammed thru this will lessen.

We reached $8000 in the past few days leading to the conference. I remember last year everyone was hopeful about it, but the bear market spared no one. Ugh.. I thought that Bitcoin price has significantly increased its price with no reason, now this news came out and you think this is the reason behind the increasing price of Bitcoin. Don't you know that this positive trend has started from end of march? It means that this news is not the only reason. Perhaps some parties already knew that Bitcoin will have a good news this month so they start to buy since a month ago. Its really good news even i was finding the real reason for this bull run . But i dont think investor are taking BAKKT seriously because its postponed several time . May be insight says it will happen for sure . If it true then its time to grab some not all investment at this time. |

Which exchange hack your talking about Cryptopia or Binance . As far my understanding nobody caught till now . We have seen several hacks including Ehterdelta was the major crypto currency exchange then Myetherwallet was the major web ethereum wallet . Nobody caught till now based on my research . |

We already seen in this bull run even the major exchange Hack doesnt effect crypto bull run . Bitcoin already passed 8000$ + form its lowest below 3800$ . If binance hack only doesnt effect then no others word also effects for sure.

I've been away from the forum for the past few months because of some projects that needs full attention. I've never even opened or read any news about bitcoin's performance for the past few months until I bumped a very good friend of mine and told me that bitcoins on the bull. So I checked online and seen some good greens and was very much excited to get back into trading. I've already lost track of the current events regarding crypto so I need to catch up and get back to the forum again to gain some vital information. I just found out that the only trading platform I used to trade got hacked. (Binance) I really wanted to play part of the bull runs and wanted to earn profit so I'd like to ask for your help and suggestions on what trading platforms I may use as of the moment Thanks in advance! I you can wait for 5-10 years?Then for sure you will see that ethereum can reach that value but not in this moment as this coin cannot hardly grow to $500 ,the old days has passed when this hit the $1,500 level and even this bullish market isn’t not enough to move ethreum grows so in future maybe
No need to 5 to 10 years there is some roadmap event completed ethereum price will increase eventually like pos implementation and also Vitalik vision to limit maximum supply if it is done we can expect two times of price you mentioned. |

Let's throw away our worries, I'm sure this year will be better than in 2018 because this year the price of bitcoin and altcoin will continue to move even though it won't be as sweet as 2017 but at least a good sign has been seen and it's time for us to make the most of this moment.
Yes market already in a momentum of going positive . Bitcoin almost gained more than twice value from the bearish low end . Even Ethereum also reaching three times of its lowest value . This is litecoin's first halving but bitcoin already has gone through two halving so bitcoin's price action before and after the halving can be used as a rough guide for litecoin. Going by those, litecoin should stay strong going into the halving event and a big bull run in litecoin should start after it.

After lots of frustration , lots of loss , almost loosing hope now market is recovering . As a crypto community well wisher I am requesting Bitcointalk community as well as other crypto community to fight against Scam projects . So that people should not loose belief on Crypto .
Why i am saying this because ?? . We have seen lots of Scam projects ICO's in past in that lots of investors hard earned money gone . It was became exactly like .COM bubble lots of investors lost their money . These scammers took away this money from crypto space .
1) Now as a community we should not encourage ICO'S for time being . As if now there is enough projects funded in crypto space for next 100 years
2) We need investors who believe in new era of currency . Also needs to attract NEW investors . For that we have to keep Crypto Space Clean .
3) Crypto projects are necessary but we are having enough project for a time being . Community has to understand this . Find a good project already in a place . Support that kind of projects . Which is giving real value to crypto space . Instead of investing in Scam project and getting into trap .
Finally we should keep away our Greedy mentality for sometime we should work together for long term vision of crypto currency .
Note : I know already some of community members really working hard to fight against Scam projects . I have huge respect for them . Now we should also give contribution .

I have seen i medium community article they made some peoples joining other details they never bother about investors money . Never tried add the token into big exchanges they raise more than 45 million fund through community . they took community for granted has to teach lesson of these people .
We can’t do anything with this people it was the quite expensive lesson I learned in 2018 ico . Hero , centra , Kepler I never forget these projects huge loss for investors. |

Not only for newbie even for the members like us more than two years some even more than 5 years also fell in this trap . Last year most of the ICO happened just intention of raise money and disappear there is lots of ICO made it some are like hero token or pawn hero it was the major disappointment for investors.

I remember that Eth reached more than $1,000 back then before dropping dramatically. Now that Bitcoin is excitedly showing its bull run, many Eth holders like me are wishing that it can do its dance upwards as well. Yes, it is showing some good movements but not with the same intensity as Bitcoin. Will Eth get benefited by the current strong showing of Bitcoin or will do its own slow like snail move? As the time I was posting ethereum crosses 225$ it is clear sign of ethereum preparing for next big bull run I am expecting ethereum price to reach 800$+ in this bull run period . Hope it will happen and give huge profit for us like ethereum long time hodlers. |
