3201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Yearly Lows on: September 27, 2020, 05:41:51 PM
Even year 2020 still not yet over, do you think we will still experience a new yearly low? Lower than $3,850 which we experienced that around March 2020.
Which yearly lows you already experienced? Mine was 2017 - 2018.
I don't really look forward to every year lows but I'ved experienced many lows in each year since when I actively use and hodl bitcoin. The year 2017 is the most memorable low before, I remembered that I earned and bought as much as bitcoin as I could on the start of that year and really didn't expect to have a monstrous grow in its value at the end of the year. For now, I don't really target the lowest bitcoin value on each year, It's just better to stack them up on whether of its value.
3202  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🎲Tower.bet 🎲🔥 New Platform arrived 🎲Crash 🎲 HiLo 🎲 Wheel 🎲Contests 🎲 on: September 27, 2020, 01:58:29 PM
It is nice to have an on site exchange, however the minimum to exchange is 10$, which is quite high...
Is there an update when we would be able to exchange TWG against real coin?

Bear in mind that the exchange feature is not the main service of tower.bet. If it has too low min exchange, I'm worrying that tower.bet will be used by many people for the exchange purpose only. $10 is still reasonable amount, if you think that it is too high then simply dont use it or keep increasing your balance till you meet the minimum amount if you still want to use the exchange. I do believe that other sites with similar feature also has minimum amount for it.

That's aggregable as the main business is for gambling and if that statement is right, instead of using it for that sole purpose, chances that it will be use as exchange, users can send out coins then use the exchange it serves as venue to mixed their assets.
Not good for the reason that gamblers can launder assets in a small forms of exchange.
This will only happen if the exchange rate is for you low compared to other exchange site, This could be easily the main thing for people if they know that's the case. But seeing the exchange rate in this casino, It's a bit close to other exchange and I think there's no reason to here just to exchange some tokens. In mixing assets, There are different services that offers that, Why would people bother going here just to mixed up some tokens.

3203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: September 26, 2020, 07:15:24 PM
Do you think you the first one to ask these things? They were asked before bitcoin was created by the creator themselves.

Firstly your share all your personal info with your bank so how can you call that secure? If someone else has your crypto details that doesn't mean it is not secure. I trust a family member with my private key much more than some bank with my money.

How will someone steal your crypto? Btw just because your money was stolen does not mean the bank will get it back.
In our current generation where technology is booming, There's nothing unhackable now. Banks can be breached if an excellent hacker/group of hacker want to breach a bank. Bank security is considered high and hard to penetrate but it is possible to get past through it. The bank is known to have high security that's why people are trusting it with their money and people should agree with their terms and agreement. Surrendering your personal data is one of them. This is why cryptocurrency enters, If you don't want to get controlled by the banks, Cryptocurrency is the answer. You have your own freedom to keep your asset and be responsible for what you are doing with your own money.
3204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: September 26, 2020, 06:48:01 PM
Actually it's not easy to earn as you think but Obviously you need to work hard, if you want to be a perfect investor. Need to gain experience and skill that can makes you perfect as entails. Need to have many strategies that need for different market condition.  sometimes after analysis deeply, your strategies can bear losses. So its really hard be a perfect investors
Fundamental knowledge is sufficient enough in some cases but we are on a crypto market and things change quickly, Trends are going in and out and without proper experience and just by relying on the knowledge you have, The success chance is reduced definitely. Working hard to make research and to gain experience is a necessity in this market and we can't just believe in what we can see in our eyes or what other people want us to see, There are different factors to be considered especially when investing on some altcoins.
3205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 26, 2020, 06:01:55 PM
The amount stolen is just mindblowing, What if the hacker tries to dump half of the tokens  Undecided  This is a big loss for Kucoin and for the crypto community as well. We see Kucoin as one of the best-centralized exchange today and when hacking incidents happen like this, It would make us think that even a well-known exchange that has good security can be hacked, What more if it is a small exchange. I don't know what Kucoin will do in this situation.
3206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: September 25, 2020, 08:39:05 PM
It was the most profitable year because it was so easy to gain a thousand percent profit with almost every ICO or altcoin. Now, there are profits, but it is really hard to predict which coin will explode to the moon. Currently, we no longer see such increases on DeFi coins.
Don't forget that, during the 2017 in the eyes of ICO things where good because of their new invention compared to this 2020 with the event of Defi, this two event has actually helped in the beginning to a new era in the cryptocurrency industry. What happened in 2017 has taught us a big lesson that we won't take this 2020. The hype of 2017 did more harm than we thought and investors are just be careful with the 2020 hypes.
Therefore, 2017 is hardly a golden year for cryptocurrency. Most likely, it can be considered a year of great opportunities for participants in the cryptocurrency market.
The rise in prices for cryptocurrency in 2017, and first of all for bitcoin, was too fast and therefore it was followed by the same rapid and deep fall, and this also led to the onset of the mevezhy market for the next two years.
I don't know if this can happen again in the future, but the cryptocurrency market was not prepared for such growth then.
I think It will depend on the people point of view if 2017 is the golden year of bitcoin, Those who experience it will surely agree that 2017 is the golden year since the price leap of bitcoin a year after that is so huge that even the public was curious what's happening. It also gave so much publicity that year because of media reporting it's growth on national television. As a crypto believer, We will all agree that 2017 won't be the last and we should expect an equal or more than what happened that year.
3207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: September 25, 2020, 08:05:00 PM
I highly doubt that people would be overwhelmingly support something that sucks and very bad if they didn't believed on it for some reason. Not that people are waiting around everywhere hoping to spend their money on something that will go down, nobody dreams "I hope this investment goes to waste", they want the best for their investments and they do not hype anything about for no reason.

But sometimes they are wrong, humans are constantly wrong, look at the world and how we are doing right now, all those bad things are done because some people did something wrong back in the day, which means tokens do pump even if they are scam because they simply exist and some people made a wrong investment and hyped it in some communities making them famous for no reason but being wrong.
Some investors just want to take their part on the current market trend, As long as they can make money from it, They will just throw their money to earn more money. People are just getting tired of some unreliable project plans that gained so much in their crowdfunding and leave their investors after collecting investment from them. Investors just want to earn money and compared to shitty ICO and IEO before, They can earn real profit in the latest market trend. Those investors don't really care now that the pump is because of the hype.

If this Defi projects introduced before when ICO is on it's prime, I'm sure that everyone will just ignore Defi and there won't be a hype happening. Picking the real project over the shitty project that there is no goal is a logical choice before but today after many "real projects" became scam, Investors bend the logical way of thinking and just go with the project that can make a profit.
3208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest AIRDROP in the history of cryptocurrency on: September 25, 2020, 07:35:39 PM
i think Uniswap Airdrop token (uni) is currently the biggest Airdrop in the history of cryptocurrency. to drop a whopping sum of $450,000,000 IS Something so huge. i stand to be corrected if i am wrong. i believe that the every successful project does not care about dumpers that will dump token after sales or distribution. 40% of the successful participants in the Uni airdrop dumped their rewards in the exchange and it is interesting that the price never went below 3usd.

this is to tell you that a successful project needs no market manipulation to drive volume. it is simple. develop a token, have a very good use-case and watch your project thrive in the market.
Does having an airdrop really makes the project successful ?or only the Hunters that succeed?i did ask this because there are big airdrops that i have seen in the past but the currency is still nothing good right now.
But UNI may be bringing good movement and profit for now,but what about in the next years?
does this one will still available in rankings?
Well having an airdrop now is mostly on a promotion. Uniswap does give airdrop tokens and it seems to be effective, Their project got into different news articles and hyped people so much that attracted some investors that are hoping to receive some airdrop. This airdrop's main purpose in the project is to give a hype to the people that leads to the project's success. But as we know Defi project won't long since it is hype-driven.
3209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bull market and market news its a end of the crypto or whats wrong? on: September 24, 2020, 07:05:48 PM
is cryptocurrency other crash is coming?
or what is the problem that market cant act normally `?

like it was year  2017  when it will work again like 2017`?

Define "crash" and what is the reason why a question like that suddenly popped in your mind?

And what do you mean by "the market can't act normally"? What's the supposed thing you expect to happen now instead? Let's discuss this.

Concern like this should be dealt with by anyone who knows what happened before, especially in the year you have mentioned which is 2017. No one knows what will happen. Just go and ride with the current flow while doing something to turn any situation as your advantage.
If bitcoin loses its volatility, That's the time we can tell that the crypto market isn't acting normally. Being volatile is the nature of cryptocurrency and it is pretty normal for it to move on a crazy pumps and dumps. Our current situation is normal, especially on those mainstream tokens.

I think he is expecting to have a bull run like 2017 in this year  Roll Eyes We can't really tell if that going to happen this year, I think you were just hyped by somebody who's telling everyone that this year will gonna be the year that a massive bull run will happen. I'm not telling that it's not possible but it's a no brainer for us to just wait for it to happen and not think that crypto is broken because it doesn't give you a bull run your expecting,
3210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers targeting Youtube accounts to promote their projects on: September 24, 2020, 06:04:31 PM
The latest hacking scandal in the Philippines right now. AkosiDogie, A famous Filipino Streamer/YouTuber that focuses on vlogging and gaming contents on his youtube account got hacked a few hours ago. All of his video contents where deleted and was replaced entirely by a project promotion named GEMINI.

After the twitter hacking scandal from past few weeks ago, Hackers now are targeting youtube accounts. It's my 2nd time seeing this kind of news that thousand/million subscriber accounts are getting hacked for the sake of promotion of projects. We know that this wouldn't bring a good publicity about the promoted project, I'm thinking why would the project team use hacked account to promoted their projects.

Hackers doing this though, won't their accounts eventually get frozen when found out, which is fairly quick? I mean, they've got to be putting out all their referral codes on those videos, so all it takes is 24 hours, Youtube reports and freezes it and reports to Gemini, and then those accounts are all confiscated anyway.
This is probably what happened and what the hacker tends to do. The account of AkosiDogie (The hacked account) is recovered, restored, and given back to the real owner. It didn't take more than 24 hours for it to recover. The referral thing might be the goal of the hacker since he knows that it won't last long for the real owner to recover the account. It just somehow gives a little bit of negative image to cryptocurrency because I've seen some comments that are giving hate speeches about crypto and most likely some clueless people will think it's true.
3211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 24, 2020, 05:40:26 PM
Our neighbor had this kind of slot machine and they called it "Bar Bar" it is one of the exact slot machines you are talking about. In our village, people always want to play this game, and lots of kids are addicted to this. that's why the authority won't allow this game and whoever caught having this in their house will be fined and sometimes if they caught, they served months of sentence in jail like what happened to our neighbor. You can see in this picture what I am talking about. note: these are not my neighbors, there are different people but the same illegal activity.  Grin Grin

there is also a machine called video karera. these illegal gambling machines were operating illegally and were popular in my area before police started raiding them. me being a curious person(especially on a gambling game that I haven't heard/tried before) have played the game several times(just to try it out) on different places and of course, all of the places I have played are illegally operating.

if anyone is curious what video karera is, here's a simple explanation from wiktionary of what it is https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/video_karera and here's a mayor destroying video karera machines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoPCmAK5nPM
I remember this video karera game, Our place used to have this way back when I was younger and though it's illegal there are many gamblers devoted to playing it. People who are addicted to playing it most likely won't care if it is illegal and has a chance of being rigged as long as there's a change of winning.

Some people don't have the luxury of paying the casino entrance fee, It's one of the reasons why some gamblers just chose to play on these unsafe machines. We can't blame them for choosing it, They probably see the convenience playing on these illegal machines.
3212  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: September 24, 2020, 05:33:39 AM
I can say that raise my trust when I see positive stories from the forum members here!
They may be new to some from the people of the forum but this has been existing even before. As someone who's into esports, I've known them and they've been sponsoring a lot of Dota 2 tournaments before just like what I've said in the first page.. I think that it's time again to sponsor a tournament like what's happening right now which most tournaments are online.

Maybe they need a sort of marketing campaign here so that they will be known to those people who's not familiar to their site, Although its not needed but for sure they can gather more people to try their site for Esports bettings, I'm sure many out there love to bet dota since many people find a good place to spend their bets on.
If they'd like to get the cryptocurrency market when it comes to e-sports then they should at least be more aggressive in terms of marketing campaign because they cant really just get players on just posting an ANN thread here and just leave as if theres nothing happened but i do see it wont really be bothering them much since they do already had a big market in fiat basis.Just like on what Oilacris had mentioned where they have been here on this market on long time already and had been trusted by lots of e-sports players and bettors after all these years.

They might not really getting that much attention on crypto market but they do able to hold and still profitable in other side of things. No other cryptocurrency bookies at the moment do offer lots of lines that you can choose on.

Expanding their market scope by having cryptocurrency in their site would be helpful to some of their clients, It also gave awareness to their possible users. I didn't hear this sportbook until now and this can be proof that by just expanding the payment based to cryptocurrency can give awareness but I agree that if this sportbook give a better promotion here I will notice this earlier than today. I might give a try on this sportsbook this week  Cool

3214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 23, 2020, 05:48:08 PM
If you are not a good trader then there is no need of holding if you have the knowledge and understanding on how the market works and you can takes advantage of the up and down and buy and sell at the right time then you should better to hold.

I agree with it that the difficult thing about hodling to much crypto is just you missed out opportunities like getting a high trade price whilst the token you've going to trade on is on peak value. But of course trading is not an easy thing also you should have the knowledge that required for you to be able to trade your coin wisely. And also you should be always updated by the current value of your token.
The question in the OP is quite subjective and mostly will depend on the user, For example, there is some crypto user who wants to take a break from trading and most of the time their choice will be hodling some crypto especially bitcoin and mainstream cryptocurrencies so that they can get some profits even though they aren't making their usual moves as a trader. There are also newbies who want to earn but don't have enough knowledge and it's an easy choice for them just to hodl. But as a trader, we know that we can't miss some opportunity going on that's why a casual trader like me splits up some assets that is allocated for daily trading, long term trading and hodling.

These are the top 5 casino shared on your site and i did not know about any single of these casino ? None of these casino seems popular to me. I just don't understand how you rated these casino's ?
Maybe because those top 5 casino doesn't accept crypto? I haven't really heard those casinos at all and upon viewing the highest rated spot, it seems they really don't accept crypto at all.

There are many casino review site in this forum and they mostly focus on crypto, I think other casino review sites that is introduced here before will outshine this because this is a cryptocurrency forum and we are focusing on cryptocurrency.

I don't know if the rating of these casino is unbiased since I'm really not familiar with them.
3216  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crash game automatic follow introduction on: September 23, 2020, 03:24:54 PM
There are some DEMO accounts registered by customers in the game, and these people who use the DEMO account are not serious about the virtual funds.Anyone can create DEMO accounts in the game to make automatic bets.
Even if what you said was true, you should have separated demo account bets from real bets in order to make it easier to understand. Clubbing both together makes it really confusing and makes your site look shady due to the unusual bet history.

More and more red flags keep popping up related to your site and most people think this is a scam already. I don't really see the point in trying to prove your legitimacy anymore op.

If someone has an issue with a simple $10 transaction, what else can anyone expect from your site?
I agree, by just depositing on this site @btcltcdigger experienced a hassle. Just by depositing, the user needs to take extra steps for it to be credited and I think this is not a good way to welcome their users.

Because you did not contact our account manager to register, so you did not register in our team, we immediately verify the deposit for you.If you need to follow , please contact our account manager. You can find their TELEGRAM on the first page.
What if some user outside this forum deposited in your site? Will their deposited not be granted because they didn't contact you?

You just make your site unaproachable in my own opinion.
3217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - the niche within a niche and incredibly small community on: September 23, 2020, 02:54:45 PM
Most DeFi tokens are concentrated in hands of Top 500 Holders!   https://cointelegraph.com/news/analysis-most-defi-tokens-are-concentrated-in-hands-of-top-500-holders

If that is true, DeFi is like a sandbox game, with a very limited amount of players actually playing. Observing this from outside the crypto bubble itīs concerning that DeFi, while a good idea and worth investing, has such a small holders community.

Could that be a problem in the long run?

If what youre saying is true then yes it would be a problem in the long run. With so few big holders they could manipulate these coins to their whims in the future but then again, dont all coins? Even on coins that we have frequently nursed in our wallets, big holders still manipulate those markets. Just dont mind it i guess if you really believe on your project.
We can't really expect that DeFi will have a long run. We know that this market trend is just hyped and sooner or later this hype will be extinguished. Big players are enjoying the every profit they can get as much as possible because I'm sure they know that this is temporary and they won't hodl trash tokens that has no foundation.

For now, I think there's some manipulation happening due to extensive pumps and dumps by some DeFi tokens, I'm not pertaining to all but there are some that is just for profit only.

3218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm scared of ethereum gas fee on: September 23, 2020, 01:53:39 PM
The current DeFi hype made the fees ridiculously high. I've seen some posts were a lot of posts where transactions fail and you will have to set a high gas price for your transactions to go through. I avoid transacting in Eth platforms whenever the network is clogged. Small traders are suffering due to this high transaction cost.
in fact, for the time being, I do consider the circumstances before making the transaction. however, the fee paid is really quite expensive. I am afraid that this fee could be higher, and only certain people can make transactions without thinking about fees. however, I really hope that the fees come back down.

People who transact will certainly think about fee transactions because if not in the end they will lose in the calculation. Transaction fees have skyrocketed recently, in my opinion, because of the high traffic on the ethereum network which is dominated by transactions at Uniswap or other Dex. In my opinion, high transaction fees will make ethereum prices slightly increase because people who want to transact on Dex or Uniswap will continue to buy.
This is what's exactly happening in Ethereum network Traders and normal people who transact using the ethereum network are being cautious about the gas price because it is still sky rocketing, This is mostly the trade off between having a hyped platform like uniswap. Small traders can't really do a thing because their small volume of ethereum can be just eaten by the gas fee.

I think the gas fee woudn't rise up to $2000 in value, I'm sure I'm gonna wonder who will spend that much on a gas fee  Roll Eyes
3219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP explained on: September 20, 2020, 10:28:36 PM
Apart from those explanations and descriptions given to you OP. I only want to give you a reminder that there are copy-cat projects that are starting to imitate Uniswap, hoping that they'll get some investors misleading them into their platforms and buy their imitation token.
It is what you need to remember too just in case you're too attracted to Uniswap and you're liking it because of its trend.
if what you say is true then uniswap tokens should not have this high price because if you can see that many altcoins have less supply than uniswap but the price can't be this expensive, hopefully UNI won't make many traders disappointed and really have developments good so that it can give a lot of profit.
If they are in demand, price will definitely appreciate and that's unstoppable if the mass is with them. But as their demand increases, there are also the opportunity takers which are copying the names of these projects but theirs is entirely different if you'll check the whole details about their project. It's just a reminder for those lovers of Uniswap or any token that you want to trade there. Be careful because if you are not, you may fall to the wrong type of token which has almost similar name.
Copying the allmost the same name of a certain project can lead to these scenarios 1. Make the project a copycat in the appeal of investors 2. Make some people confused on which on both original and copied names is their target project 3. Label them as a copy-cat project even they have different concept. There are many possible scenarios that can be positive and negative effect to the project, I think it's not necessary to have a project name that is close to others.
3220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coin Shilling Question on: September 20, 2020, 11:32:11 AM
Can't say much about media houses influence but that of social media has major influence on the market as I have witnessed it first half. I was hired to managed a supposenly new DeFi related project but later discovered I was just been hired to shilled their project. The host group I was added to had tens of users hired for the same purpose. Before leaving, I took note of the price of the project and comparing the price of the token a week later, it was quite obvious their shilling had a positive impact on price.

Do understand though that tere are some factors that contribute to a successful shilling, the circulating supply of the coin couple with the hype surrounding the technology the project are working on. Like in the current market, DeFi related project are likely to get more attention if been shilled than other technology unlike few months back when layer 2 related project were getting more attention.

In regards to the price decline after the shilling period is over, that's certainly going to occur considering shilling leads to pumping and dumping of a particular coins. If you observe in the current market situation, DeFi related project are getting dumped more. That's as a result of them been overbought during the shilling period.
Being shilled and promoted is one of the factors that makes DeFi projects and their token gain attraction that makes the price go up. They desperately use bounty managers just to make traction to the price. We know that this is for a short period price bump only and I'm sure that they can't maintain the hype around them and this will surely lead into price decline as you said. This happened to most of the DeFi projects, I think DeFi projects will just be a one time profit since we have seen that maintaining the hype is hard and in addition to that there are many DeFi competitors out there that are giving some FUD.
