3201  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: July 17, 2016, 11:05:24 AM
For me, Investing bitcoin is a big risky as no one is sure what will be the price of bitcoin in the future.
investing in bitcoins is not risky at all in my opinion because it might allow you to make some big profit in the future, besides that i dont think that the price is going to go much lower

A few years ago, it was quite risky to invest in bitcoin. Now it is much less risky. Bitcoin is much more mature.
When the risk is reduce the rewards also reduce, that is the nature in investing and I wish I could have invested with bitcoins when the price was still very cheap. For now, we could still invest and hope that the price will rise substantially as we know it would happen in the future.

well, that is a cliche but true thing that says "with great risk comes a great reward"
but there is a lot more to it than just taking high [dumb] risks. you actually have to make some plans and think about the kind of risk that you are taking.
for example HYIPs are consider very high risk but the reward is not good in any ways. or cloudmining is the same way too.

on the other hand investing in a gambling site is high risk but it can give you a high reward too.
you see everything is in the business that you are investing in, if they are legit you can have a good return and if not you will lose your money.
3202  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Bitcoin wallets are best to use? on: July 17, 2016, 11:00:10 AM
I think there is no bitcoin wallet guaranteed 100% safe and will not deceive us. In my view all of wallet risky scam, if you want 100% safe create your own wallet to make your own network: D

But the best use for the wallet, in my opinion blockchains.info and Coinbase. Because until now I still use their services. Just a suggestion do not ever leave your large funds in just one wallet providers. to reduce the risk of things we do not want.

bitcoin core is the best wallet to use I think that is save
for online wallet no guaranteed 100% safe. but the offline wallet like bitcoin core is very good.

I think the problem from bitcoin core is malware dude, so thats not 100% right for offline wallet. Bitcoin core is good but I do not like when it takes up a large enough memory. This time alone has reached 65 GB Sad

it is weird to say bitcoin core wallet for offline storage, but i guess if you want it IS possible. because you don't need to connect to internet with it so there is no blockchain (70+GB) download.
but that would only be used for creating a bitcoin address to dump bitcoin in, in that case there are simpler ways of doing this for offline storage.
3203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MY gambling strategy to limit loss and make btc on: July 17, 2016, 10:57:08 AM
My strtegy is very simple. It is called self control. i strt with .01 anytime i get  more than .001 over that amount i immidieately withdraw that ammount into coinbase. this way, i cant get cocky and gamble away huge orofits! Ehat are you guys opinions on this strat

i see many things that are wrong here.

1) this is no a gambling strategy, if you want to call it anything it is more like a money management technique.

2) reaching 0.001BTC profit from 0.01BTC is such a big amount (10%) so it can take forever if you are playing safe. and if not you are going to lose the bankroll fast.

3) the worst part is that he is using "coinbase" as his wallet. the thing about coinbase is that they will ban anyone who uses their wallet for gambling because gambling is illegal in the US (where coinbase is located).
3204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How would u make 10% profit off 100$ on: July 17, 2016, 10:51:07 AM
What methods would you guys use to get 10% profit with the lowest risk if you had 100$ to invest? martingale? I am pretty curious!

since $100 makes a good amount of bitcoin then you can start with martingale method and start with a very small bet size in order to guarantee your win and never strike out even if you face a losing streak. but although this method is going to be safe but it is going to take a longer time than usual to make a 10% profit.

you can also take a risk and bet all of it on a high chance of winning bet (like 80%-90%) and win little by little that way but risk more.
3205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you always do after you lose in Gambling? on: July 17, 2016, 10:47:32 AM
Im just curious on what are the reactions of the people lossing in gambling and why they still gambling even though they are wasting there money. What are the motivations they use to play back again.

when i lose i usually try to win it back but i don't pressure myself and try not to get out of my strategy that i laid out for myself before. so i stick with the plan and try to win that back to go into profit again.
3206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of the world is MULTIPLE crypto currencies not just BTC on: July 17, 2016, 10:44:08 AM
My prediction is that there will be 2-3 cryptocurrencies and btc will be the strongest one
thats right, bitcoin will always be the best cryptocurrency that is out there, in my opinion because of that it is the best to hold your bitcoins right now and not sell for the future
Yes there are almost hundreds of cypto currencies now and in the future the number will increase but the bitcoin will always be the best and mostly used cryptocurrency. It will be because it was the first unique thing developed!!

just being the first doesn't give bitcoin any kind of edge over any other cryptocurrency that exist or may exist in the future, there are in fact a lot of other factors that gives bitcoin that edge to be in front and be the number one.
for example one of the biggest ones is that bitcoin is being used as a currency so it is not just some digital numbers you give value to, but instead you can purchase goods with it.
3207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: July 17, 2016, 10:38:44 AM
Evem in the real world i really dont trust casinos i always believe that only them can benifit alot from their business. If you are that person who have a lot of money and want to waste it then you should try playing in casino

I also don't trust on casinos because the main reason is that in casinos winning chance is very less as compared to loosing chance. People loose more than winning and in casinos first 2 times you win and you think you are playing well and bet higher amount and you lost your money. So i don't trust them that is only my opinion.

all the gambling sites should have a working provably fair system on their site where you can check to see if they scammed you or not. there is nothing to be suspicious about. everything is laid out for you to see.

also you can always check their announcement topic in the gambling board to see their reputation if they are one of those old gambling sites.
3208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: July 15, 2016, 04:27:13 PM
At present, I am doing a research on the most profitable trading method and I am wondering: Is it better to do btc/fiat trading or btc/altcoin trading?

Which method yields the highest profit?

it is only up to you to decide which one of these methods is best for you.

many people prefer trading btc/fiat because it is closer to other real big markets and can speculate it better based on technical analysis and other stuff.

but many others [like me] prefer altcoin market because it is more volatile and have more opportunity for profit in it, the swings are bigger. but it is sometimes harder to predict.

in the end you can do both. trade bitcoin/fiat when the bitcoin price is volatile (unlike the stable state right now) and trade altcoins when you get the chance to find a good opportunity.
3209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memorizing Private Key on: July 15, 2016, 04:13:21 PM
it is a pretty good idea only if it could be doable. but because of the way a private key looks like (which is a random set of upper case and lower case letters and numbers) it is impossible to remember it.

but if you could somehow find a way to memorize a private key and never forget it even after a few years i think that would be the safest cold storage in the world but the important part is not forgetting it over the years because forgetting even one letter or even misplacing them would cause losing funds.
3210  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 15, 2016, 04:03:22 PM
the block halving itself.
what you didn't realize about block halving is that, it just happened so the effect which will boost bitcoin price up will happen soon but it takes a while to see that effect.
just take a look at last time it happened. it took nearly 2 month before any major rise in bitcoin price.
3211  Economy / Services / Re: SafeDICE.com Signature Campaign - Weekly payouts up to 0.025 BTC + Bonuses on: July 15, 2016, 03:56:55 PM

3212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 13, 2016, 09:00:32 AM
i have always came back for two things in gambling: for fun and for profit.

although i try to stick to the fun because that is guaranteed to happen if you want it to happen but the profit is not always guaranteed to happen. but also it depends on the strategy and luck and many other things. and it happens sometimes which is good enough for me to come back to it.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Didn't know I can loss all without winning anything on: July 13, 2016, 08:55:33 AM
this is how gambling works you always have to expect everything in it because it is a game of chance and your luck determines the result and nothing else. but in case of slots i don't like that game it is a little bit boring and i have always lost in it so you are not alone in this i have a pretty terrible record in slots too.
3214  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you know BTC price will go down or up within a day? on: July 13, 2016, 08:52:49 AM
if we all knew when bitcoin price goes up and down then we could all be super rich or super poor because everybody would have been doing the same thing. so always some people have to not know and decide the wrong way so that some other people can make a profit because they made a correct decision.
3215  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 12, 2016, 03:16:31 PM
I am accepting NXT as my salary already. I created the website and got paid with NXT for example.  Smiley

we are all getting paid for bitcoin for the jobs we do and some altcoins from time to time but that doesn't mean it is our salary. according to dictionary salary is a fixed regular payment and i think this topic is about receiving it as only salary or main salary not a second one.
3216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on sport = gambling? on: July 12, 2016, 03:12:03 PM
Betting on sport = gambling?
Please write your mind.

Of course it is! duhhh??? That's why from the first play, you BET! It means you gamble, because it will either lose or win. haha
actually betting on sports is betting on sports and gambling means more something like casino games where your winnings are based only on luck and nothing else

may i don't understand English as well as i thought or maybe you are just playing with words here.

but i don't see any difference between "betting" and "gambling" those two words have the same meaning and are used on the same thing. whether it is betting on a sports game or it is betting on a casino game they are both gambling and have risks.
3217  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can keyloggers store your wallet password if you use on-screen keyboard? on: July 12, 2016, 03:09:13 PM
....
Having multiple virus scanners won't slow down my system, or at least it's not noticeable for mine. I know there's no 100% security, this is why I said you never know when you can get infected. I'm usually sending the suspicious files/websites to a few antivirus/malware research labs, waiting for their reply after a detailed look before accessing them.

it is not only about speed multiple virus scanners can even interfere with each other's work. and i don't really think it is going to make any difference to have multiple of them installed as long as you are online.

and to answer your main question i have to say yes they can because they also take screenshots on each click.

....there are not keyloggers for Linux. ....

are you sure about that? Cheesy
3218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: July 12, 2016, 03:03:30 PM
I am getting the hang of them more and more, and it's so hard not to bet everything away, LOL! My fav is freebitco.in though. Gosh... I have 20k sat there from the faucet, and all I want to do is use it all for betting, ha!

I am not addicted; the 20k is still there, but wow... I have an itch to scratch for sure.

yeah i have the same feeling too. i always like dice games a lot more than anything else. although some of other games may be more interesting but i always find myself coming back to dice somehow. but i never really liked playing it on that faucet you mentioned i always like a professional dice site.
3219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: July 11, 2016, 10:33:07 AM
I want to know that girls also gamble?

If yes then it looks like the number of female gamblers is negligible with respect to male gamblers. why?

yeah they do gamble, and actually i have seen female gamblers but they are mostly older women not young women who gamble. and yes their number are lower but i don't know why it is like that maybe it is the difference between the way women think financially!
3220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing poker is a gambling activity? on: July 11, 2016, 10:27:51 AM
I actually mean playing poker professionally, like taking part in tournament's,etc.
Do you think that it is considered all across the world as gambling?

gambling has a clear definition so i think playing poker even professionally falls under the category of gambling. because there are two most important factors of gambling involved in it: Money and Risk even if they are winning.

if anybody is playing poker without involvement of these two then no that is not gambling anymore.
