Is hashdollar dead?

Apparently yes. Users had a lot of problems, the guy who idealized it (Tony Fontoura) premined a huge amount of coins, none of the initial plans were accomplished, even after several postpones on the dates and the last exchange which trading it stopped doing it about a month ago (if I recall correctly). There are some more details on the specific thread in this section (although it is in portuguese). Adriano There wehre technical problems in the coin too, that made it impossible to PoW mine the coin. With 10^13 coins in the hands of only one person and the coin operating only on PoS, no one was getting their share of mining, people dumped all they had as fast as they could...

HD68XX 5XXX not work,all hw. please help,Thanks
Yes, that might be why i thought it to be broken in the first place: my windows machine is has a 6350. Looks like the hamsi implementation by sph is not compatible with those boards. Is there a lot of people using those boards around? Is it worth it to try to port another hamsi implementation just for those boards?

when will TS release source in github so people can check if there is no malware/trojan to steal wallet?
I am not sure who "TS" is, but the code for both those miners is available. Check the first post please.

win version doesnt wok for me
it works now but my old .conf file doesnt wok how can i disable %1?failover 0 disabled in this version
The binaries are all with the 1% fee, to disable it, compile from the sources using make CFLAGS=-DDISABLE_DONATION detailed instructions on how to build from sources are instructions are found in the "doc/windows-build.txt" file.

thanks girino. when i have time i'll get it on my BAMT rigs.
I think the problem with the windows version might be bad drivers on my machine at work. If someone with a windows machine could kindly test it for me and post results (I am looking for several minutes of mining, like 20 to 30 minutes, with at least one share found and no hardware errors). The file can be found hee: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/enov174f6mwtztn/AAAiX2Sd97lKrkn9hUk6Yb2za/BADThanks a lot.

false alarm. windows version is giving too many hardware errors, i'll remove it until i can figure out why

girino, do you plan to release an update for x13 algo? I tried the other free version, but can't mine with it because the rig locks up after 8 hours requiring a hard reboot. All my cards are 270 or 270x and I've seen others with the same card have the same instability issues with the free version.
Well, you asked for it, you got it. X13-sgminer, slightly faster than lazybear's (5% on my 280x), stable as always, linux binary for now, windows binary later today, and source. Donation fee reduced to 1%. downloads: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/enov174f6mwtztn/AACLSbbBC06Xq0jz1_YSl5Swahttps://mega.co.nz/#F!FIo1kCCZ!G4WAGh8TFvTSVoUfdclPtQ

which coins use this algorithm? i see they call it "marucoin" algorithm in sph-sgminer, but is marucoin the first coin to use it or only the most famous coin?
Yep it's marucoin. it's the same as X11 it just has 2 additional sph algos (hamsi and fugue). By the way, once you earn enough from the donations (which I have nothing against), consider contributing some of your improvements to sgminer ( https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/v5_0). Since it would not be possible to do this without sgminer (or cgminer in the first place), it is nice to give something back from time to time. Cheers! are you one of the developers for the original sgminer? I'd like to ask some questions about the current opencl implementation of x13: 1- The code is based on SPH code, and as such has several tuning parameters, mainly "SPH_HAMSI_EXPAND_BIG" from 1 to 8 and "SPH_HAMSI_EXPAND_SMALL" (not sure about the valid range). Have you experimented with all the values before choosing "SPH_HAMSI_EXPAND_BIG=1"? I'm asking because I did some experiments with Groetsl and figured out that the current parameters were actually the best ones, and didn't want to loose time with something that has already been tested.

I have no real improvements on the C code from sgminer, all improvements are on the opencl code, which is already free and can be integrated into the original code whenever the author wants. It is not up to me to decide what get's merged back into his code.

I was not in my plans. I am still working on improving x11 algo. But if there is enough people asking for it I can try a fast port of the x13 algo. Im hands up for a x13 miner which coins use this algorithm? i see they call it "marucoin" algorithm in sph-sgminer, but is marucoin the first coin to use it or only the most famous coin?

Just so you know this guy seems to have hard coded in a pool - you will mine for him 2% of the time. It does seem to increase hashrate slightly but the reported rate in the miner isn't correct
The hashrate reporting has been extensively tested by many users and beta-testers, and no one has yet reported any errors. Please specify in which situation you are having hashrate reported incorrectly (which coin and pool, and which miner parameters did you use) so i can test it and correct it. Any bug reports are appreciated and encouraged, since they improve the quality of the software.

Is it normal to get "Stratum from Pool 0 requested work restart" very often? Why do I get this, and is it a problem?
Would anybody mind sharing their GTX750 Ti config? I'm getting 1,7Mh/s with no tweaking.
edit. seems as the work restart-message is normal.
I am not sure about it, since i don't own an nvidia card, but i think that for NVidia GPUs you should try cudaminer and ccminer, since they are optimized for those boards. People report getting 2+Mh/s with ccminer on 750Ti GPUs.

I have installed https://github.com/lasybear/sph-sgminer_x11mod on all my rigs (7950, 7970, R9 280X and R9 270). All rigs with 7950, 7970 and R9 280x work perfectly, but rigs with R9 270 hangs out very often from 15 min to 2 hours. But if I set in config "kernel" : "darkcoin" instead of "kernel" : "x11mod" rigs work perfectly and stable, but hashrate is more low. Can you fix this? I have use BAMT 1.3, 1.6.2 and PiMP 1.4.2. { "pools" : [ { "url" : "stratum+tcp://super.pool.com:3333", "user" : "user.rig", "pass" : "x" } ] , "auto-fan" : true, "auto-gpu" : true, "temp-cutoff" : "80", "temp-overheat" : "75", "temp-target" : "60", "temp-hysteresis" : "2", "gpu-fan" : "20-100", "gpu-engine" : "1050", "gpu-memclock" : "1500", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "intensity" : "15", "lookup-gap" : "2", "api-listen" : true, "api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1", "api-port" : "4028", "vectors" : "1", "worksize" : "256", "kernel" : "x11mod", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "no-submit-stale" : true, "queue" : "2", "expiry" : "30", "scan-time" : "30", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" } wrong thread. we cant rent our rings the failover option doesnt work as expected
failover is not available in this miner. You can either alter the source code to fit your needs or look for alternative solutions that have been posted on previous comments in this thread. I've created a pull request to add your copyright. thanks!
