3221  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: July 11, 2016, 10:23:16 AM
if OP had started a business with his 10BTC back in 2015 (7 months ago) and he could manage to be successful in that business he was already on his way to becoming a millionaire by 2030 but instead he decided to sit on it and not be anything in 2030 apparently!
3222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello everybody, one more that's trying to get rich is here! :) on: July 11, 2016, 10:19:03 AM
we are all trying to get rich here, one way or another. and in my experience getting rich doesn't come easily to you if you want to take the easy way, and know that bitcoin price is volatile and getting into it and holding bitcoin with hope that it goes to $1,000,000,0....... and make you rich will not get you anywhere.

try to learn something instead and earn that way. for example if you know coding, or designing that can come in handy. or trading is pretty much famous around here for making bitcoin. but you gotta learn the tricks first.
3223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a decent amount with 30mBTC or around? on: July 11, 2016, 10:16:41 AM
AS the topic says, how can one make some good amount with 30mBTC ( 0.03BTC)? Please just don't say gamble, try to provide some strategy. This topic can help others who want to make big with a small start.

if that is all you have then do not gamble with it because gambling is risky and you may as well lose it. what i want to say is that you should gamble with what you can afford to lose

and after you set that amount in your mind then you can start gambling, you can choose a simple game of dice with martingale method and start from small bets like 10 satoshi and be moderately safe and make some profit.
3224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 11, 2016, 10:11:21 AM
I earn more money. I could buy a few things I want because money from gambling. gambling has made me more comfortable. therefore gambling is one of those jobs that make my life better.

if you are in fact earning a profit with gambling maybe you should teach the rest of us how you are doing it and help others do it too.

and also don't forget that one or two times making money with gambling doesn't count but instead if you can do it regularly like very time you gamble if you make a profit (more wins than loses) then that is good not any other temporary wins.
3225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: July 11, 2016, 10:05:13 AM
if i am earning a lot and my expenses are not more than that. then what will i do. i will certainly store them and there is no other option with me. because i will never like to share my bitcoin with any one.

I also hold most of my coins. I do not trade as I cannot control the price and make profit from the trading.
good to hold coins right now, with the bitcoin price fluctuating it can quickly become a lucrative business for experienced traders.

well, i agree that bitcoin as an investment, is at a good place right now so holding it for long term investors is a good idea and in fact it is preferred.

but you also have to spend bitcoin too, because if you only keep it as an investment you are missing out on the full potential of bitcoin which is also acting as a currency and also you won't be helping the adoption if you only hold bitcoin forever.
3226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: July 11, 2016, 10:00:45 AM
Well, i think internet is never goes down. If internet goes down, bitcoin will dead because no one can't using bitcoin on online, but maybe some people can use bitcoin with their offline wallet.
anything can happen, dude. I sure similarly with your said if the internet goes down, bitcoin will dead because no on can using bitcoin. but what you can do with the offline wallet?I think is not having a value at that time. the one disadvantages of bitcoin, without internet bitcoin, is worthless.

of course anything is possible but the important thing that you are forgetting here is that the chance of happening a lot of these scenarios are so small that it becomes negligible. so in this case you can safely assume it will never happen because the chance is so small.
3227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People deserve to lose their Bitcoins ? on: July 07, 2016, 01:33:40 PM
Well IMO I think people don't deserve to lose their hard earned bitcoins. I think everyone should also stop investing in cloud mining ponzi schemes etc since the only thing you can really trust in bitcoin is the bitcoin wallet offline you have.

there are two different scenarios when people lose their bitcoins. for example if you want to trade you have to put your bitcoin on an exchange even if it is temporary for one day, and that exchange can turn into MtGox any day and you lose. in this case you don't deserve it.

but on the other hand there are people who invest their bitcoin in obvious scams like HYIPs, ponzi schemes, cloudmining that are shady, and a lot more. these people deserve to lose their coins.
3228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is now a good time to buy and store Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2016, 01:22:55 PM
Well man I suggest that you don't buy for now. There is a big risk of you losing money if you buy now because it is sitting at 640.9$ and it can go down to 500$ so don't buy now. Just wait for another dump and buy when it reached below 550$.

if you buy now, and the price indeed happens to go down quite a bit, then you have not lost anything. you only lose money when you start selling at a lower price than where you bought your coins at. if you think the price may go down, then keep waiting. but it can also make you miss out on another rally that might push the price to $800 and higher. there are risks in either way. if you don't buy now, you risk missing the price go up. if you buy now, you risk seeing the price go down further.

that is what makes the difference. to be a bitcoin trader or bitcoin long term holder.

i always say that you have to decide between these two. if you are a trader then you buy on each dip and sell high and take the profit to do this the next day too.
but if you are a long term investor (holder) then you have to buy as soon as you get money in you hands (preferably in a dip) and then don't check the price each day until your time arrives and then sell or do whatever else you wanted to do then. but stop worrying about every little bump on the road.
3229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin going down 4 the halving?! on: July 07, 2016, 01:17:24 PM
I think price didn't rise since last few days in fact it started to drop so majority of users would have panic and started to sell their coins thinking that price may go even lower in next few days.

i doubt that any bitcoin user is panicking just because the price didn't rise. this as Lauda has explained above is just market manipulation by whales. they dump some coins to create a dip and then the other day-traders join in to be able to buy at the bottom so that makes it bigger and bigger until we reach the bottom and then everybody buys back again at cheaper prices and in the meantime newbies who panicked are losing money.
3230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is the most profitable gambling? on: July 07, 2016, 01:13:41 PM
Many gambling in this world. What is the most profitable gambling ?

in my experience any kind of gambling game can become profitable if you handle it good, for example with a good strategy. even a dice game can become profitable for you.

but there are games that are considered mostly skill based like sports betting which can be more profitable if you have the skills.

but then again that is not a general thing because it falls on to you and how you are playing those games and your strategies.
I think dice is just a luck game, and at the end you will really lose. It is negative EV iIMHO.

yes dice is a luck only game. but this doesn't mean you can't have a strategy in dice which helps you win. you can even modify some existing strategy to make them better. even using martingale method with a large bankroll can help you make good profit with dice games.
3231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: July 07, 2016, 01:06:07 PM
The newly elected President Rodrigo Duterte wants to stop the online gambling here in the Philippines. Its because they cannot collect tax from it and they don't want people to become addicted to it. What is your side ?

i don't think banning it would solve anything. first of all gambling has been very huge in Philippines as far as i know. and online gambling is only a new thing that came to exist recently. so their worrying about people getting addicted to it is nonsense. so if taxes is the only problem they have with gambling they can easily regulate online gambling sites and take taxes that way because banning it would only lead people to use VPNs and TOR more.

3234  Economy / Speculation / Re: its time to sell if you haven't already on: July 06, 2016, 03:04:36 PM
Volume is dropping everyday the hype is over , just as i said it would be days before the halving. Goodluck people

every time there is a slow down or a small dip people start to doubt bitcoin and FUD people start to spread their lies around the forum.

whenever there is a stable price the daily trade volume goes down because fewer people are trading on fixed prices, because there is no change to make profit from. but as soon as price goes up the volume picks up too.
3235  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 02:59:17 PM
After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

no i don't have a paypal account and i never had an account either.

i was tempted to make a paypal account once or twice in my life but i decided against it because i read a little about the scams that keeps happening with paypal and also the agony of verifying account changed my mind.
3236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 02:56:48 PM
Since the price of Bitcoin changes a lot, so I know most of you are investing large amounts of money in Bitcoin.
But why are you doing this? to make money by selling them after a price increase? or is it just to have something to do on the internet?
And since the price can increase and decrease, you can lose this invested money, what would you do?

i invest in bitcoin because i believe that in the future bitcoin will be used a lot more and it can even grow as big to replace the online money processing all over the world.

and all of this means a lot higher price for bitcoin which i don't want to miss out on. so i buy bitcoin now that it is cheap.
3237  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when Chinese speculators enter Bitcoin market? on: July 06, 2016, 02:52:57 PM
Chinese have always been inside bitcoin from the early days and they have been investing in it for a longer time than any others. and the interesting thing is that this investment of their has only increased over time and they have been investing in bitcoin and also in other crypto currencies so much and that is one of the reasons why this market is so interesting .
3238  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: largest faucet win you ever made on: July 06, 2016, 02:49:18 PM
I was just wondering who has made a lot of btc NY winning with a small amount from a faucet ? I have made over 10 k a few times at free coin. But I did a few claims by before that.

in case you are asking about the winning from the faucet site itself i have won a 20000 prize once long time ago when i was claiming faucets.

but in case you are wondering about the winning that i got from a dice faucet and the gambling with that, i think the biggest win of me was around 20000-30000 satoshi and it was on primedice but unfortunately i lost it after a bad luck.
3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 06, 2016, 02:46:21 PM
just remove the principle of yours that gambling is for profit.. it is just for fun. and have a job to focus

I think gambling is never being fun, because on gambling you risk your money into it and it become not fun if you lose your bets on gambling.
I don't understand why people think gambling is only for fun. PEOPLE WHO DO GAMBLING OF COURSE HAS A DESIRED TO PROFIT. If ever fun is felt it is more likely related with way of want to have profit. You cant have a pure fun in gambling.

because gambling IS FOR FUN. and yes it is also for money but it is kind of a two opinion kind of thing that people usually don't agree upon.

also people say gambling is for fun because they have reached the conclusion that they can't make money from gambling and in fact they are losing more money.
3240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: July 06, 2016, 02:42:59 PM
Everyone's excited for the halving event happening around July. Everyone's saving hoping that the price will skyrocket after it.

But what if prices crash down instead? what would you do?

in case of a crash after the halving i will do my best to gather enough money $$$ from different sources in order to invest in bitcoin and buy as much bitcoin as i can in the dip before the price jumps back and goes to the moon.
