XRP got dumped from $0.53 down to $0.43 and that is 18.8% XLM got dumped from $0.26 down to $0.21 and that is 19.2% besides the rule is this: when bitcoin drops, altcoins get dumped hard unless they are on in pumping session.so altcoins may not always even go down! they may actually go up. as it was the case with a couple of them that have been pumping during the past 48 hours. seems like centralization or semi-centralization in crypto is going to take over one way or the other. I hope not but we shall see soon.
don't confuse pumps with "taking over"! There's really a big difference between pumps and taking over if they are really going to take over then their price will not get affected everytime Bitcoin drops, and the "pump" is continuous and it should not be fake volume not groups making a pump of those coins, but all the community will buy and hold that coin. |

I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
Some people are blaming bounty hunters, but bounty hunters are only getting 2 to 5 % share of the total supply, it's either the team or the early investors who dump the coins after they realized that they can make profit from dumping their coins that's because of the big presale bonus that they've got. |

Well I have no more patience in holding it so I decided to dump all the altcoins listed in an exchange in a low price. I have been accepting already that I loss already in investing those altcoins. Because we are now in the peak season of the year 2018 and cryptocurrency market seem nothing to have gone good and I have also some needs to meet for the holidays so I sold all the altcoins. I will just check later on if cryptocurrency will going to be back at its normal market.
Well as long as you are not sorry for your lost, and you have not invested your life savings it is just ok. it's the holiday season and we need money to buy stuff for the holiday for our family and friends, we can always start next year again when the signal is ok but of course, we should only invest what you can afford to lose. |

If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!
Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!
It is an ugly situation!
If you follow your portfolio and had insight on the project that you are in, you'll know when to sell and continue to hold, no use holding your coins for years with the hope that you will make a profit eventually, it's better to check if they are doing what's in their roadmap and they are on target. |

Sad to say but I also have the same opinion, it's not profitable to do bounty hunting but from time to time we stumble good project that is very hard to ignore because they have all the ingredients to make a successful project, so it is really up to us if we want to give up or not or wait for the market to recover before we get involve to crypto currency again.
