2301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: September 15, 2019, 04:38:42 PM
Well unlucky that you received a small reward in the campaign, but at least they are paying rather than scam bounty campaign. Well Better next time, hope that you spot a good campaign that gives high reward.

Some of them are indeed paying but they are paying us with coins with no value and we'll have to wait for months, or even years before, I prefer getting paid with a small amount but that small amount will have good value in the long run, it's not the bounty rewards anymore, it's the project that you are promoting is it is legit or not.
2302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding the person who has received 1 billion dollar is likely possible on: September 15, 2019, 03:42:00 PM
The address below has received 94,500 bitcoins.
37XuVSEpWW4trkfmvWzegTHQt7BdktSKUs
According to what I read in some reports, it is the richest non-exchange address. I also read that at least one third of these bitcoin has been transferred from Huobi exchanges. As Withdrawing that big amount of bitcoin from Huobi exchange require KYC, so Huobi should know the person behind this transaction.
Assume that the government find this transaction suspicious and want to know the owner of these bitcoins. The government can force Huobi to give them the documents of the owner of this wallet. Huobi can be forced by court if they don't give those documents to government.
It's just a suspicion they need a court order to to be able to force Huobi to give them the documents and there's no guaranty either that they are going to catch the right guy, what if he hires people to do KYC in Huobi, he can do that because he has the money.
And with that huge amount of money, he can hire legal to evade arrest and go from one place to another.
2303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I want to start a business in gambling, which country do I choose? on: September 15, 2019, 03:14:48 PM
Curacao is the best choice, if you have the money and you are going to set up a big gambling company online, you can go to Curacao, but the most important thing is you are compliant to a country where you are going to register your gambling site.
You can talk a lawyer, the worse thing that can happen to your gambling site is being sued for noncompliant so better get a service from an attorney where you want to register your gambling site.
2304  Economy / Economics / Re: The Bitcoin Giveaway Project on: September 15, 2019, 10:25:35 AM
We should all be doing this, this is a good project to advance adoption, we should also educate people on what Bitcoin is and how good and how we can benefit people from using it, we already have faucets, this is also a big for people who wants to start out on how to use wallet anbd how to do transactions, I started on faucets and I guess many of us do.
2305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 15, 2019, 09:49:14 AM
There is now a lot of news about Satoshi Nakamoto coming up or uncovered are you still excited every time there is news about new discovery on who Satoshi Nakamoto is and his whereabouts.

We have fed by so many lies about this Nakamoto pretenders some of them are good storyteller some of them might be true I have a hard time analyzing the best version of the story.

I will still check, but will not be excited if his story is just an alibi, on why he cannot open his wallet, all these Satoshi wannabes, has different versions why they cannot open the wallet, but if there is a new one coming up and he shows that he can open the wallet.
That would be the end of the story, and our journey to find who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is.
2306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Client Error Login? on: September 15, 2019, 09:28:51 AM
make sure that you are using an updated version of WAVES client. I faced a somewhat similar issue a while back turned out my client was not up to date.

It's possible I just downloaded and created an account on Waves Client I have no problem login on, maybe it has something to do with your connection, every time my connection is slow I have a hard time running the client.

Many people are not using Waves Client and they are not holding waves based token and Waves is taking a back seat from all the token creation in the market, they should makew their platform competitive.
2307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Have An Exit Plan In Playing Gamble? on: September 15, 2019, 08:50:51 AM
I will not have a problem if I decide to do an exit in gambling I am not a chronic gambler I can stop anytime I want, although I'm going to miss playing if I decide to totally stop I can do it. I'm playing to have some fun, not for profit, I will just replace it with online games and that's it.

I tall goes down to how much time you are spending in gambling site, if you spend 3 to 5 hours, you will really have a hard time withdrawing because it is deeply embedded.
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Mystery Person Just moved $1B worth of Bitcoin on: September 15, 2019, 04:45:26 AM
I'm dreaming that one day I can move that huge amount, people not knowing who am I and moving at a price not even half even if I'm using a bank or a money transfer, I'm sure if I'm going to it they will ask me for a lot of verification because of the AMLAC even if it is legal.

But eveytime there is a movement of a very high amount we are worried because it could have an impct on the price if the mover dump it.

2309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Dev not shit coin on: September 15, 2019, 04:33:06 AM
A lot of alarm has been raised on shit coins which have become a concern to many in the crypto sphere, but i feel our attention should be on the shit developer rather talk about the shit coins. The reason why we have shit coins all over is because the number of shit developers has increased to the maximum, i guess it is time to begin to publish the names of shit developers on the forum in order to do some justice to the crypto sphere.

Some of them are with fake profiles or hiding and using from profiles they hire from Fiverr or Facebook, some of them do have an account on Linkedin but there's no guaranty that these are really people, because you can put any kind of skills and they will not verify if you are that experts or you have that kind of position.
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: September 15, 2019, 02:00:51 AM
It is almost impossible to believe that after developing a good project which might likely succeed because of the product, some so-called developers and teams will still go ahead and list in a shit exchange all in the name of reducing the listing fund or all in the name of no fund to list in the big exchange, if you cannot afford good exchange, why not continue with the development of the project to be able to attract the right investors, why rush to a shit exchange. So many projects that could have succeeded have been buried by shit exchange, and if you care to know, you are the reason why we still have shit exchange because the owners of shit exchange knew that some daft developers and team will surely come and list their projects. Why will someone prepare a good meal and then decide to keep it in a cabinet full of cockroaches? Wake up.

I feel sorry for investors who can only trade their coins to a lowly exchange and the developers are not moving to list it in a much bigger exchange, they don't care about the zero volume and a very low price as long as they have the funds, they set up the platform, it's enough their alibi is the market is not in a good confition.
2311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 14, 2019, 05:01:26 PM
That's likely going to happen, this fiat-based gambling sites will integrate cryptocurrency or they are going to lose more clients and of course, they want to cover more markets for their games, gambling is a multi-billion dollar industry just like porn and if Cryptocurrency dominated this market, there will be a lot of demands for Cryptocurrency.
2312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 on: September 14, 2019, 04:09:43 PM
Isn't a little bit early to start a thread like this?
Olympic game is an amazing sports event with a lot of bets, but what can be discussed at that point? There is still a long way to go for the athletes and for the teams till then...

You have a point, there will be a lot of spam that is going to happen here because we are discussing something that is going to happen in a few more months, it's better that OP lock this thread or moderate it, compare to the Joshua - fights, although two months to go  we can still create a lot of discussions as they are both visible promoting the fight.
2313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 14, 2019, 03:39:39 PM
What the *eck is going on? we have many good projects coming into crypto space but they mostly end up failing, too many good new projects are dying as if they are been created to just die, what do you think its killing new good projects apart from scam projects?

Investors already know that Bitcoin dominance is getting bigger, it's like a domino effect, investors will follow the decision of the whales and the majority, if majority of the investors or the whales, stopped investing in new coins and only focus on Bitcoin and the top coins in the market, new projects will only fail.
2314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT A SIGN OF FAILURE OR Scam? on: September 14, 2019, 12:21:34 PM
There's no guaranty that if developers are paying Bitcoin or other tradeable coins that they are a legit project but it's a good strategy for Konios, they want as many high-rank members to join their campaign because this means that they are trusted by hig rank members, many high rank members are now on gambling sites, which Bitcoin and Ethereum.
2315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao has own cryptocurrency called Pac on: September 14, 2019, 10:48:31 AM
I prefer supporting Pacquiao's coin than coins coming from ICO from unknown developers, it's very unlikely that he's going to scam people, because he has a reputation to protect and besides this is a very ICONIC athlete, he can promote it and he will gain a lot of supporters, he has millions of supporters around the globe.
2316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects plan from the very start on: September 14, 2019, 10:06:48 AM
1. Attract investors with good discount price
2. Make enough money from IEO fund raising
3. Use very low fund to list on shit exchange
4  Abandon the project slowly

This is all planned from the beginning....

Now the question is which developer doesn't know that listing on low exchange won't do any good? are devs that stupid? no they are not, infact they are the ones that understand more about crypto that any other.

Point number three is very good observation one of the projects that did this is Bitmillex, after more than a year of waiting the only best exchange that they can manage is Bilaxy, no wonder they do not have volume and the price is close to zero, nothing to expect on this project, they will fall to point number 4, which is abandoning the project slowly.
2317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOT (HOLO) good to invest ? on: September 13, 2019, 04:34:27 PM
for me HOT is good enough for investment right now, considering that trading is also in binance. HOT trading volume is also quite large. maybe short-term investments are more suitable.

I agree with you coins that are still in the top 50 in the market are still good coin to invest, I check it's volume, and it's still high, it's lucky to have that good volume considering the dominance of the top 5 coins in the market, it will perform better once the altcoins season come.
2318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: About bounty program on: September 13, 2019, 02:38:31 PM
Hi everyone
Although i am new here but i am not new in cryptocurrency market.
I have two questions about bounty program.
Is there any Restrictions to join bounty if i am Newbie?
Is the bounty program for only bitcointalk users, i see i should add and use my user name of bitcointalk.

You cannot do signature bounty that is the only restrictions, but there are a lot of social media and telegram campaign, but there's many of you that are doing this so the rewards are not that high, but you can join as many campaigns as you want, as long as you can follow the rules and do proper reports.
2319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 13, 2019, 01:13:19 PM
@cryptojor

anti-virus is a pointless waste of space, just delete the av program

in the days when updating your system over the internet was unheard of, computer viruses sometimes did spread. in practice, they were still rare.

now, there are no malware threats that cannot be mitigated by simply choosing a secure operating system, and keeping it up to date. I've been doing exactly that for 10 years, any virus worth a damn would have stolen some of my BTC, and that hasn't happened.

I disagree.

Several user already have been warned from electrum phishing sites (or even from the malware they downloaded from that site) by their AV.
They would have lost their coins without an AV.

While AV's only recognize already known or blatantly stupid malware, every average windows- or mac user should have one installed.

And neither mac or linux are safe from malware. There is malware for these operating systems, less than 2-3%, but still it exists.
A secure operating system doesn't protect you against 1) malware being executed by non-techy people or 2) other kinds of targeted attacks (which are very costly and complex).

Changing the OS doesn't protect an absolute non-techy person at all, IMO.
Good OS in combination with common sense and some technical knowledge does.

I think it it safe to assume that you are not a clicky-pointy type of person who is running a colorful windows installation. You don't need an AV. That's fine, me neither.
But i would never suggest other people reading this (especially those running windows being not techy at all) to live without an AV. It offers at least some level of security.

Maybe what he means is by choosing Linux OS because it is much safer to use, because anti-virus main target is the Windows type OS but even Linux can be targetted by a virus, as stated by this article here
 https://www.pcworld.com/article/3156931/why-malware-should-be-a-concern-for-all-linux-users-and-what-to-do-about-it.html

There's really no safe OS and users should be educated on how to protect himself from getting infected.
2320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is or are the contribution of Crypto gambling sites to Crypto Currency on: September 13, 2019, 10:30:14 AM
Gambling now has become an integral part of Cryptocurrency, it's obvious there are hundreds of gambling sites for Cryptocurrency, and there are Cryptocurrency dedicated for gambling, I think Cryptocurrency help gamblers to fund their account and to protect their identity.
