3261  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: September 05, 2020, 10:45:10 PM
It's refreshing to know that Sportsbet got another partner in Southampton FC. Let's keep flash that BTCitcoin to the viewers of the most watched league in the world  Smiley
Yeah, bit surreal to finally see our crypto have sort of an impact on the real world. I know crypto already has a lot of achievements along the way but this thing is... how I explain it? Sitting at your sofa after a day of work, watching a football match with a beer, and seeing that little logo of crypto. Feeling more real than anything. Cry
I wish I can see it myself. This can drive some people watching to be curious about the Sportsbet logo and they will surely found out about crypto itself.

Being the biggest logo on the jersey will gain more attraction, Also being a co. partner with under armor can gain pretty good attraction to it.
3262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 05, 2020, 09:44:06 PM
This is no new, Correction hits on Defi tokens along with other market coins, This can be a piece of good news to those who are still planning to buy some coins, You can consider this time to buy, I expect price gains for some Defi tokens after this dump. As we see these tokens were pumped and gained value fast so we should expect to lose it's value fast also.
3263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme leader's twitter account hacked - but that's not the main issue! on: September 05, 2020, 08:50:09 PM
In the Bitcoin network, scammers can hide their tracks and that is the reason they are using crypto for Ransome. In the dark web buying and selling also happens in crypto especially Monero. But India's PM twitter account hack was because of a popular FPS shooting game PUBG ban. Some angry Indians have done this some people say and asking for BTC payments.
Decentralization has its own disadvantages and every disadvantage can take advantage of people in a bad way. Hackers are taking advantage of it as a gateway to collect money from their victims, This is why the reputation of crypto is being damaged. This might be a temporary problem but this can possibly lead to big problems. Unfortunately it the banning of Chinese apps in India and the hacking occurred in the same week.

Twitter should make their security better or else this kind of fud will spread more.
3264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there an official bitcoin wallet? on: September 05, 2020, 08:14:53 PM
It's called decentralization. They are all official. But check them out with people who know, and then test the ones you download or use. Only after you are positive they are good, then put a chunk of bitcoin into them.

Cool

That's true I was victimized by a scam wallet, it's open sourced any individual, group or companies can create and launch Bitcoin wallet, we have many wallets now the only way to safeguard yourself is to audit the team and the source and read lot of reviews before using them, when it comes to wallets, reputation ranks high in the list.

if you don't do your research you will end up losing everything.
Would you mind telling us what wallet has scammed you? There were too many reputated wallet that is available now and to add to it there's a non-custodial wallets. It's rare for me to find someone who was scammed by a wallet service provider.

Decentralization is what bitcoin is, This gives us the freedom to create and own a wallet on our own as long as you we have the skill or knowledge to build one. Having only a "official wallet" that can be used is I think is a centralization.
3265  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets /s ⚡ on: September 05, 2020, 07:13:14 PM
Guys, have you seen today's race leaderboard? Crazy  Grin

He was in the chat today, OhhNoo. From 1 btc to almost 2 btc and then busted, and he recovered again to 2 btc. Crazy day for him, with many ups and downs. I don't know did he continued with playing, or he stopped, but in one moment he just disappeared from chat.
Wolf race is definitely insane today, first two have 150 btc wagered! There's no competing with these guys! Unless you are ready to become high roller and deposit a few thousands and start playing flash!

What a race OhhNoo had, i thought that he will lose all of his earned funds but he was quite lucky that day having his btc recovered after he got busted. Quite amazing how he left the chat having the 1st position lol, he must be a real gambler having some funds to spend on WolfBet. Congratulations OhhNoo, hope to see you playing again.
The main winner will always be someone who has a ton of money, those dudes with hundreds of bitcoins they can spare to gamble will always be at the high levels. I know we do not hear from them too much, some of them are early bitcoin investors and some of them are just rich people who bought bitcoin but in the end they are there. They will wager 1 bitcoin per bet and beat you to it, they will beat everyone by just wagering a lot.

You can try to wager as much as you want with the small amounts you have, you can try to wager like 0.01 btc per second and get high, but at the end if they want to, they will just wager 10 btc 3-4 times and reach to a point where you can never reach. So, just like that there is absolutely nothing you can do to beat them if you do not have enough money.
This will be the case most likely. The casino wants players to spend more and more in their casino that's why big players are in favor of this event because they do have the capital to spend and win this event. If you have the courage and luck to win this even with a small capital I think it's winnable. You can just roll over your profit until it got big and continue the momentum you built, It's the scenario I can say that a small-time gambler can win this kind of event. But I know it's very hard on reality, Big capital is an advantage here.

The first place on the tournament and the second spot has a very large gap under them and I think on the span of the remaining time it won't be possible that the first and second spot will lose their positions. It's just a outstanding gap.
3266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Fees on: September 04, 2020, 08:40:29 PM
I don't know when ETH fees can drop again, but if the current situation persists and many people are still interested in Defi projects then I believe ETH fees will go up $ 10 or even high more like that next time
When goes down eth price then gas fees reduce. Really 5$, $10 not small gas fees for a beginner trader or investors. Yes definitely right hype now and many investors want invest in defi project without analysis lol. Without research for a crazy investors thinking.
This kind of eth gas prices happened before and it will settle down for sure, I don't have any transactions now so I don't know what is the price of gas but I think it's really high due to the hype of this deFi projects that lead to network congestion. I am hoping that eth 2.0 will be released sooner than it's expected deadline.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 04, 2020, 07:25:19 PM
KYC is one of the best solution, but that also takes away the meaning of anonymity that most user enjoy. Well, i don't see any problem with underage kids betting in esports tournament because Cryptocurrency is partially anonymous then regulators wouldn't actually know who's, who. The only problem is children under that age shouldn't be addicted to it. But what about the law that prohibits teenager to visit porn sites? Isn't that much more urgent as well? Why not just censor those kinds of sites just like in China?
This is not an ending discussion with regards to jurisdiction of the kids so also I can say kyc could be the most solution indeed. Also the big contributions here is the parents should guide their kids in crypto gambling sites since some are being addicted into playing. There's so much to tackle in restricting the children because some kids are unstoppable and also the important to censor those sites that are not good to the users.
I think someday crypto casino will make a way to refrain minority to play in their casino, But as of now KYC is the best choice and on the legal side wants it. Kids today become lustful in playing casinos and crypto casino is one of their ways to play some gambling. Kids today are so much attracted to esports games and betting sides need some way to make minorities stay away from them. Parents should teach their children the limits that they can go in the internet before it is too late for them to be addicted to it.
3268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a cryptocurrency software developer? on: September 04, 2020, 06:30:38 PM
If you are planning to go to a university and study programming, You should expect that blockchain technology isn't thought at school. More likely fundamentals are what is thought on school and it is the base of being a programmer. But there should be a way, the Internet is always open and full of things you can learn, You can do a research about it and there are codes for cryptocurrency that are open source. Motivation and not getting tired is the key to being a developer, It takes a long time process but you will improve until you can develop a cryptocurrency software. Learning fundamentals is the most important part, This can make you flexible in different languages.
3269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VPN for cryptocurrencies? on: September 04, 2020, 05:32:14 PM
I think there's no need for a VPN for your coins that is sitting on an exchange to be safe, This could also cause some trouble if there is an anomaly on your account, There could be a possibility that the exchange might lock your account due to IP jumping that might cause a larger problem. 2FA itself is sufficient enough for your accounts to keep it safe. I'm using a 2FA level of security for a long time now and I don't use VPN but I really don't have any problem with security.  Avoiding possible risks like using free wifi, downloading random files, accessing fishy websites can increase your own security. Just be cautious about what you are doing on the internet and you will be fine.
3270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: September 04, 2020, 04:54:31 PM
There are veterans of trading and they will tell you that the amount of profit you can make from regular day trading is not even remotely close to what you can make from just buying and holding. Don't get me wrong the fact that buying and holding is profitable is true, people could make money that way and I would say it is quite the investment if you really want to do it, and nobody could argue that people wouldn't be able to make a profit.

However just because one thing is profitable doesn't mean that other one is not making profit, sure a newbie doing day trading will end up losing and someone who insists on not learning and just doing it how they want to will end up losing as well, but someone who really knows what they are doing will make ten times more than the person who buys and holds.
The power of trading comes from compound interest, even if you were only able to earn roughly 10% per month if you can do this regularly then at the end of a few years you will multiply your coins many times over and that is where trading shows its power over holding your coins.

During that time frame a person that just holds his coins could earn fiat but the number of coins that he's holding will remain flat and will not increase but with trading you have the option of the number of coins that you are holding to grow significantly during that same amount of time which will obviously multiply your profits in fiat as well but as we know trading is very hard and only a few can earn money with the activity which makes holding such a good option for the rest of the investors in this market.
Every strategy will depend on the person, There are people who aren't good at trading so the most efficient choice is just to hold their tokens and wait for the token value to rise. On the other hand, If a certain person has the skills that can accumulate profit in trading the person would certainly do trading for him to earn much more profit. Trading can give you more profit because you are working for it, Doing some analyzation while holding is just letting your token sit on your wallet and you are just checking the asset price regularly. If we are talking about the time I think the person who daily trades will get profit more than the holder because the profit of it is just pilling up and using it to deliver more profit in the trader's portfolio.

Both trading and holding are profitable if you do it right it's just trading is where you can earn more but put a lot of work on it and holding is earning less but gaining profit slow and small.
3271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COCK FIGHTING: COVID-19 health protocols violators, caught on: September 03, 2020, 08:52:43 PM
even if they win but their Health is at risk, what if 10 of them become infected and shared with their family?is it in the governments concern and problem how to make them better?

Well, that is the worst thing to happen, you the most annoying part in that situation? Those people would be blaming the government about that, people would be scared of them so they would find a way to blame it all on the government, that is what they do. Then the government will be the one making an adjustment to those, that is the sad part. Hope they realize this before going on those "tupadas".

The problem is that you can't force people to stay inside forever. It has been almost 6 months since the lockdown came in to effect here (in India) and now people just want to go out and relax themselves even if that means that there is a higher chance of putting them at risk. For how long you want them to stay inside and refrain from entertainment? The pharma companies are saying that a vaccine may not be available for another 12 months.

I am not saying that they can't entertain themselves, but can they just follow the safety protocols? Can they just follow the law of not doing these cockfighting which is still banned? They can do anything to entertain themselves as long as they are following the protocols, They could relax, bond with their family, does it really need to be cockfighting?
We really can't control people in doing stuff like this, Even if it can be dangerous to their health or whether it is an illegal act in their country. We know this cockfighting wouldn't be happening if there aren't organizers that make this event. I think they are the ones who should be blamed for. I think those cockfighting gamblers are having itchy hands in betting on their cocks to fight so they can't wait. It's just there are some people who don't take this pandemic seriously and don't know the harm it can bring to them and their surroundings if they are infected. They aren't scared at all they just want to satisfy their own needs.
3272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest Gambling Losers on: September 03, 2020, 08:14:41 PM
Damn, and im here freaking out when losing 20$  Cheesy
When it is my first time doing gambling, I'm disappointed of myself when I lose at around $10 or less and saying to myself that "If I only just bought food with that money or at least saved it or invested in something" and there are times where I will just sleep out of my disappointment.

It will depend on the lifestyle of the gambler. If you haven't that much money then you will really freak out when you lose a few buck like you and me but if you will ask those rich gamblers, $20 is just nothing to them and they are still ok if they lose it. Its just experience and discipline. If you want to gamble then you must learn not to feel anything when you lost your money because at the end of the day, gamblers have a higher chance to lose all of their money in gambling.
It also came that to me, Realizing the thing I should have bought with the small money I lose in gambling, It was a small bet with my sister almost 5$ value in our fiat, I was really disappointed with that bet that I told myself not to gamble anymore or make bets anymore but here I am playing gambling on different crypto casinos and not regretting my loses. I do agree that it depends on the lifestyle, The time that I loss 5$ bet is when I was a young age that I can't afford to buy myself my wants cause I'm still studying that time, But now I do have income, I really don't feel any guilt when I lose some pennies.

Putting some limitation on your gambling money can help you not regret the gambling session you did. Gamble what you can regain with your job  Grin

Lossing too much money in gambling can cause damage to your mental health  Grin
3273  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus & promo codes! Site And App on: September 03, 2020, 07:10:18 PM
is it ads banners? or just a background image?
because it has links and clickable. is it supposed to be displayed like that?
well, my screen resolution is 1600x900, and I feel distracted with that position.
maybe you can consider to make it as a floating banner.

I feel distracted by the advertisement of roobet, It feels like this site is made for roobet. I agree that the floating ad banner is more better than making it the whole background.

I hope that your designer isn't lazy for just replacing the whole background, For an advertisement like this I understand roobet pay more than others but please consider the design of the site.

Btw it's nice that you have a mobile application hoping that it can get through ios.
3274  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 03, 2020, 06:43:18 PM
Price rise: adoption!
Price drop: manipulation!

Ah, classic. If you're a long term holder, why are you so affected by a price drop? It's not like price drops are anything new with bitcoin in the first place. If anything, price drops like this are great opportunities to stack up some more.
I genuinely laugh at this haha, I don't know why there are still people who are complaining when bitcoin drops it's the price and blaming that it is manipulation. As a long time holder, I really don't even care enough what price would be.

We can't expect that bitcoin will just go straight that price border, I think it's normal to have the price drop on that price but I agree that it is a pretty big price drop.

3275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which type of trading you think is good? on: September 03, 2020, 06:21:11 PM
The one you know obviously, the more you know the more you can do, if you think there is a set configure that could help you with making money you are very wrong, I am sure that people actually think like that, there is some sort of quick way of making money, do this type of trading or do this type and you will definitely make money! Well that doesn't exist, you can't make money that way, you are going to end up losing money.

This is why I agree that people should actually focus on learning, learn whatever you want and learn how to do it however you want and that is why I want to make sure that you know what you are doing, if you know what you are doing you are going to profit from it, that is why just study your things and whatever it is as long as you do it well you will profit.
Sad reality but this is what happening on most people who do tend to make up trades for the first time on where they do hurry to learn up things and even jump to the battlefield without any sufficient
knowledge or even knowing the basics which would really result into a 100% loss and they do realize that they had done the wrong stuff.Trading cant really be learn overnight and this would really be
a pile of trial and error and we know that there are several ways on being a trader and you cant just have to learn it all but rather focus into a path or way on which you are comfortable into neither
you would be a long term or a short-term kind of trader and you do really need to find out on which one works the most on your part.
That is one of the common mistakes of new traders that just want to earn a profit, Imagine there are experienced traders that are losing even they have sufficient knowledge, What more if you only have a limited of it. Trial and error are effective but you shouldn't risk something if you are doing that especially if it involves money, There are a platform where newbies can practice trading through trial and error that can't cost them a single penny.

The crypto market now is unpredictable, Before I am basing my trading decisions depending on the new event of a certain token but now It's really hard to conclude things to make the right move on trading.
3276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: September 03, 2020, 05:19:08 PM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are my key players.
But I am still hunting some altcoins these days, I am trying to avoid DeFi coins these days coz I think I am already late for the party, lol.
As long as my bag is majority on Bitcoin and Ethereum, i'll be more safe, kinda scary to pick some low market cap altcoins, I am afraid on Bitcoin to dominate the market again.

I believe a lot of us here are rooting for btc and eth. They are like the only cryptocurrencies you can trust of when all others fail. But if you are a crypto user who is closely following updates and developments of others alts, you will know which one is worth investing for. Not gonna believe all the FUD by other people here.
Yes. Bitcoin and ethereum are my only top choices and the rest of those altcoins are not really seem profitable for me. And besides, it's more risky if you fill your bag with pump and dump altcoins and only to find out they only end up as dead coins in the long run. Better invest with bitcoin and ethereum since they made the best hit in the crypto market.
This will more likely the answer of most of us, there are many of us who are scared to hodl newly born alts. DeFi is now on-trend but there's a large possibility that DeFi tokens can't bring their fire in 2021, Knowing their trend might go down.

I do think that the tokens on top 20 of rankings on coinmarketcap will hold their position in 2021, The number one spot on cmc which is bitcoin won't change absolutely If you're going to settle into tokens, of course, choose the best.
3277  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto.com investment app is it a good deal? on: September 02, 2020, 08:16:29 AM
For now, I don't really suggest it because anything can happen with your investment at any time. Your friends are telling it's a legitimate investment "For now" but we don't know what might happen in the future, there could be a possibility that the coins your hodling will dump that it makes hard for you to sell. This has a risk knowing that the payout is a bit high and I don't know if the investment could sustain that high payout in the long run.

The general rule of thumb is, if something is too good to be good, avoid it.
Just remember this  Wink
3278  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Bitpr0.com | The Ultimate Crypto Directory on: September 02, 2020, 06:00:02 AM
Been a fan of dark themed websites as it is pleasing to my eyes, Good job having it like this. I think I will be using it as my directory since it contains very good compilation.

I will be glad if you add blackjack fun in your directory, Blackjack fun is a blackjack focused game so I think there will be a new blackjack site identification in your directory.

3279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts! on: September 02, 2020, 05:16:47 AM
As long as the response from the forum members will be positive like they actually earn even a small profit then I will try to download your application and will likely to start from a small amount. In my side, I can say that it is a little bit risky as I am not that familiar on how it operates but I think I can handle it as long as your application is safe.
You realise that the dicebot is NOT a "guaranteed to make you win" type system right? It is just a tool, like a web browser... that lets you automate certain aspects of your betting and allows you to create or run custom scripts so you can try various "systems" or strategies...

It is NOT guaranteed to win, it does NOT increase your chances of winning etc... the odds are exactly the same as if you used the site manually through a web browser.

Anyone that tells you otherwise, is a fool... and if they're trying to sell you a "winning" script, they're a scammer.
I think he is aware of the risk of this dice bot, It's a common-sense that a bot can't lead you in a sure victory just by using it, It also requires knowledge and strategy that's why it is called a tool. It's meant to be used for more proficiency.

Bots have the same purpose that is to help the gambler to help them with their rolls and bot makers are doing something to help the user like this bot, It has charts in it for the user to easily see the data of his session also built-in strategy is also nice.
3280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 06:44:45 PM
Asking that question shows that your teacher really wants to know what bitcoin is all about. He/she might have heard it in the past. So many people do not have an understanding of what it is but you jump into the conclusion that it is a scam or an investment scheme. I believe with time the bitcoin will be more discussed in an institution and public places and will change the orientation of the people especially those that have a biased mind towards the crypto and blockchain technology

It happened to me a lot since I have a knowledge about bitcoin sometimes I put bitcoin or cryptocurrency in the topic. And then most of the time my teacher ask me what is bitcoin etc. and then I end up explaining the bitcoin to the whole class. I think a lot of people or even professionals doesn't really have knowledge about bitcoin, bitcoin is not yet ready as an online currency and it is still in the progress of adaptation. A lot of people don't trust bitcoin-like my professor because it is just digital and doesn't have a physical form and he says that you are just investing in something that is imaginary meaning anytime you could lose it. I think he has a point but in my experience on the market supply and demand works.
I sounded like you before, Explaining the concept and bitcoin itself in the whole class, Honestly, it is a very satisfying experience to be sharing my knowledge to others and having many people ask more about bitcoin to me. The only thing that conflicted is the knowledge of my teacher, He really fights me that bitcoin is a scam due to recent news of bitcoin scam that time but I'm relieved that I changed the entire knowledge of my classmates on bitcoin. I don't ask them to believe but I intend to make bitcoin positive for them because of the negative impact on scams on bitcoin at that time. Sharing knowledge about bitcoin and blockchain is awesome!
