3261  Economy / Exchanges / Re: best place to trade BTC on: February 01, 2021, 11:37:59 AM
Another thread: Guide to check fees: Taker, maker, deposit, withdrawal, transaction fees

Binance is best from taker, maker fees and they run many promotions, contests, giveaways and distributions for users. On Binance, you can use your bitcoin to trade with many altcoins in spot, margin, future trades.

You would beware of risks with new exchanges which can run deposits, trade bonuses but you don't know they are scam exchanges and whether will reject your withdrawal requests. Think of exchange reputation first.

Do you know that big list? Crypto Debit Cards

I don't have interest in crypto debit card and can not give you more info. You can read that topic and try to find what you are looking for.
3264  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Wall Street Bets pump and dump group. on: January 31, 2021, 07:16:33 AM
Newbies need to learn from their lessons, with losses of course. They don't listen to you if they don't get any loss in the market.

It is seldom to see newbies have opened mind and listen to your advice when they begin in the market. They are lazy and want something that can help to get profit as most quickly as possible. They are not readily to learn and don't want to waste their time to learn.

Pump and dump groups fit their short-sighted needs.  Grin
3265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRV - The most undervalued project in DeFi on: January 31, 2021, 06:37:14 AM
--- This is actually a good thing, if you take a look at current government regulation surrounding these things. The way Curve Finance DAO was set up, due to their launch there is no way a Government can come attack them. Curve was launched by anon Twitter user who did us all a good favor: https://twitter.com/0xc4ad ----  Unlike Uniswap where their founder is known.
I am not sure about this but it is one of CRV problems. Huge supplies will make it bad in the eyes of investors.

CRV could be considered to trade, not to invest. Frankly said, I think that all DeFi projects and their tokens are currently overvalued. They will be corrected to their real values in the bear market. I know the market now is bullish and the game can continue for DeFi tokens.

I disagree with your opinion that CRV is undervalued at the moment but I agree that it is good to trade.

Zilon's post is unclear in meaning and your post is too. You said 2 opposite things in your post so what do you want to prove that it is not Zilon's idea?
Zilon is not talking about edit button

we should use the edit button to make corrections if mistakes are still seen in our post.

Proof read, preview, post and edit, everyone can use it. I agree that if you care about what you post and want to improve its quality as well as don't want to make multiple posts, use Edit button.
3267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on up trend and stop losing on down trend on: January 30, 2021, 01:58:17 PM
Stop loss orders need to be used in all market because you can get loss in all market.

If you use only 1%, you will earn very little profit but lose many for trading fee on exchanges. If you trade, you need to have your own filter and I think the changes from 3.5% to 5% is better for you to trade and get profit. It will happen a few times every day.

Changes with 1% happen more frequently (its frequency is 5 times more than the frequency of 3.5% or 5%) but you have to count for trading fee as said.
3268  Other / Meta / Re: Always remember your edit botton on: January 30, 2021, 12:51:53 PM
I can find the edit botton.  Huh

If you said about Edit button, it is used to correct your post when you see a typo, want to correct your texts.

Furthermore, it is used and advised to be used to add new information to your Opening posts (OPs). It is applied by companies or managers of bounties, signature campaigns.
32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

If you click on Preview button, you will have a backup in draft page
Q: What is the draft feature on these forums?

3269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading BTC / ETH and selected alts on: January 30, 2021, 04:00:20 AM
BTC is the king of cryto market and it affects price of other altcoins and tokens.
EThereum (ETH) is the Queen of ERC20 tokens so it does affect price of ERC20 tokens.

You have to observe the changes of BTC when you want to trade ETH and other altcoins. And if you want to trade ERC20 tokens, you must observer the changes of ETH price.
3270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRV - The most undervalued project in DeFi on: January 29, 2021, 03:25:44 AM
Curve (CRV) is currently the most undervalued DeFi project
Major problems for CRV are:
- One of their developer pulled the trigger to launch it main net before schedule, that created a bad drama at their early days.
- The token has very huge supply and it makes investors fear of loss from inflation.
- Daily pressure from investors and stakers, farmers when they receive rewards and cash out.

Quote
Short term price target: $5-8
From the 1 day chart, the price you gave is correct. At least I agree with you on the target price $5 that is the nearest resistance for CRV. If you use 3D chart, the resistance is $5.3 and I believe that CRV will be stagnant from $5 to $5.3 a while before it can accumulate enough capital and interest from the market to climb to $7.6.

If CRV successfully breaks the resistance cap at $7.6, it will fly to the Moon.
3271  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] verified Twitter accounts promoting scam pages. on: January 29, 2021, 02:49:51 AM
There were so many verified Twitter accounts during the last year pandemic period that promised their followers some money in form of giveaway which actually they did, you can't possibly know the fake either, it's a thing of luck if actually the verified account is real. Also some verified account asks for minimum deposit to receive giveaway in equivalent to your deposited amount, such one should be avoided and may possibly be scam because in rare sense, verified twiiter account do not need his followers money. Novices are always the victims of this incidence.
Believe in the promise of Twitter users, how can they do that?

Money verifies your reputation. It is worth in the bear market where everything goes down and many people are rekted. Nevertheless, it is superb ridiculous to see people break their promises in bull market. Especially if you are mentioning about influencers, KOLs, leaders in your crypto communities.

I don't know who are Twitter users you are regarding to but I don't follow them or participate in their giveaways. El_Duderino run some BTC giveaways on our forum and he has never broken his promises on awards. Every award is paid for winners on time.
3272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you don't know or understand what happened today with cryto read this. on: January 29, 2021, 02:18:41 AM
Investors and traders in stock market called cryptocurrency as scam before they accepted cryptocurrency and participate in crypto market.

They said such stupid statements as they were jealous with amazing pumps in crypto market that not usually happen in stock market. In traditional markets, there are circuit breaks that help price has some control for their stability in a day of active market. In contrast, crypto market so far has not this feature yet and of course I honestly never want to see such stupid circuits in crypto market.

Sometimes, I see some pumps of stocks and they look very similar to scam cryptocurrency. Pumps to the heaven in few days and the screenshot in OP shows how stupid traditional investors said about crypto. They consider traditional market and approved assets, hedge funds are safer than anything in cryptospace. Boom, bankruptcies broke their belief. Belief when is put on centralized entities is always stupid.
3273  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies and inflation on: January 29, 2021, 01:59:28 AM
I have been earning interest on stablecoins for some time, and I would like to change my strategy. Most stablecoins are pegged to the USD, and with the massive money-printing, I see that to the results of compounding I will need to subtract a big amount due to the actual devaluation of the currency. The amount I can be earning is relative if the currency is also changing value. In the end, I no longer see that much added value of having USD-pegged stablecoins instead of USD.
Earning interests with stable coins, what did you say? Did you sign contracts with exchange with your stable coin and earned interest?

Stable coins claim that they are pegged with fiat. 1 USDT has a value at exactly 1 $ dollar and is pegged by 1 $ dollar in banks, vaults. It is what stable coin companies claim that their works are trusted. You as user of stable coins don't know who their words are. Personally, with many news I read, stable coins are similar to fiat currency and if fiat is printed from the air, stable coin is minted from the air. The diffference is print and mint. Print requires factories but mint requires a computer. Stable coin companies have easier works than governments so do you think governments will let stable coin companies a heaven to run their easy works for too long?

However, looking at the crypto market I have not really been able to find a coin like that. Have you got any ideas/suggestions?
Bitcoin is your friend.
Altcoins are your friend in bull market only.
3274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] verified Twitter accounts promoting scam pages. on: January 28, 2021, 05:32:43 AM
Scammers are keen on Twitter to run their scam promotions, fake giveaways, pump and dump signals, impersonate famous people to steal your crypto and fiat.

The logic of people who trust on tweets of strangers and unfamiliar faces in crypto market is broken. Verified accounts are not matters if they don't have enough time in crypto market and don't understand what it is.

Elon Musk, JP Morgan, examples are very bad in crypto currency and believe in their tweets on crypto is stupid. The same rule can be applied for other verified accounts. Honestly, I admitted that I don't know any of the accounts in OP.
3275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is an investment on: January 28, 2021, 04:49:26 AM
is out of surprised bitcoin moved to 19k, 20k, 30k and 40k, so I'm excited for having double of my btc within some months
What was doubled is the USD or USDT value, not your bitcoin 0.0003 BTC is 0.0003 BTC, always.

I want to know if I will sell it or withdraw it, because is a investment money not for spending.
I think you have only two choices: trade or hold it. There is no option for you to withdraw it.

I don't know where you store your bitcoin, in non custodial wallet or on exchanges. If you store it on exchanges, you are in bad situation.

Binance:
- Withdrawal fee: in BTC 0.005 BTC.
- Withdrawal fee: in USDT: $5 on ERC20, $15 on OMNI, $0 on TRC20.

Your amount is smaller than withdrawal fee (in BTC, USDT on ERC20, OMNI). You mostly are out of choice.
3276  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 28, 2021, 02:43:28 AM
As BTC is dropping now I feel this is a good opportunity to buy and sell for short-term there are lot of news coming across as miners are selling and this could be the reason for drop in the other hand institutions are investing money in BTC.
From $42000 range to $29300 is about 30% pull back. Is this what people discussed a lot in past one month? Yesterday, they had such great opportunities to buy up the dip and wait for few hours, days or weeks to enjoy the ride back to the bullish track. They only say they will follow the famous guide from Warren Buffet but they never apply it.

As biden is planning for a change in SEC I hope this could boost the market in upcoming days and the possibilities are more for a good movement in BTC, share your thoughts.
SEC have policies that are changed under different Presidencies so let's skip them. Bitcoin in history moves up and down with news, with policies and with halvings. The last one is most important as each halving will bring bitcoin to massive media and more adoption occurs after every halving.

Pandemic now has less power on the market so big men are planning to use SEC as their tools to create news.
3277  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Currently trying to recover an Electrum wallet and am stuck on synchronizing on: January 28, 2021, 02:38:14 AM
I installed Electrum portable on 3.2.2 (the same version my old wallet was on as I was told to do on a video) and entered my seed.
Electrum.

You must visit their official website, and the download to get link and download it.
https://electrum.org/#download

At the top, you have a warning
Quote
Warning: Electrum versions older than 3.3.4 are susceptible to phishing. Do not download Electrum from another source than electrum.org, and learn to verify GPG signatures.

Latest release: Electrum-4.0.9

So yeah the version you are using is susceptible to phishing as the warning displays.

You also misunderstood that if you have private key, you are the owner of your bitcoin, and can import it to any later version of Electrum or even in other wallets.
Now, download the newest versio 4.0.9 and Verify it (if you are careful).

I created a new password and it seemed to go fine.
Password is to protect your wallet file, and the private key that is stored inside. In other words, password prevent hackers to have access to your private key. If you or hacker have private key, password is not needed to move bitcoin from that wallet.

Quote
But in my wallet, it just says synchronizing in the bottom left, and nothing is being displayed. What's the problem here?
Is your wallet synced yet?

Synchronization icon:
- Red: no connection
- Recycle Arrow: is sycning
- Green: completely synced.
What do you have now?
3278  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: January 27, 2021, 01:24:29 PM
Are there any crypto wallets with zero fees for sending coins out?

Unless the protocol itself specifies no fees (and almost no reliable crypto network has this), then you always have to pay fees. Some online services do provide free withdrawals, but then you aren’t in control of your funds.

With Bitamp, you can set fees according to priority. If you’re not in a hurry, use the lowest setting to pay the cheapest fees.
Exactly. I don't know cryptocurrency that has a protocol that no transaction fee is given.

The zero fee that some people thought is from real fee in that coin or token but as a consequence of very low price of coin or token, transaction fee is very low and nearly zero in USD. Therefore people believed they have free transaction fee, that is not.

I checked the FAQ page again today.

Which seed phrases are compatible with Bitamp?

The following bitcoin seeds are backwards compatible with Bitamp to access your account instantly: Electrum, Mycelium, Blockchain, Trezor and Ledger.
Do you think the information for which types of BIP is supported by Bitamp wallet should be included in the FAQ page?
3279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: See why I think etheruem will be bullish on: January 27, 2021, 03:31:30 AM
Lower fee with the coming upgrade, ok it's good. Do you recall that when Ethereum has very low transaction fee before the appearance of ICOs and Cryptokitty, how high or low the price of Ethereum was?

By that I meant, why do you try to forecast the price of Ethereum on the transaction fees on ERC20 chain (expensive or cheap)? Is it a good way to speculate the price of a cryptocurrency?

The chart from Glassnode's Insights show balance of exchanges is falling. Whales bought Ethereum and moved it to their wallets to prepare for staking and for future pumps, probably.
3280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Trading BTC / ETH and selected alts on: January 27, 2021, 02:13:50 AM

Please help me to make my decisions with the drop of ETH balance on exchanges in that chart. I know Ethereum is different than Bitcoin and I can not apply what happened for Bitcoin to Ethereum. The common drops of balance on exchanges of the two cryptocurrency are interesting. I will pay my attention to the Ethereum price.

In the analysis of exstasie, Ethereum in ETH/BTC is forming the reversed Head and Shoulders pattern.
We have liftoff. The ETHBTC breakout has been confirmed by a weekly candle close:
