3281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: October 01, 2020, 08:39:51 AM
Price is currently $10,890!
Maybe this is a day we rise above $11,000 again, it’s been a while. Perhaps we see a bullish breakout, I hope so.

Thomas Lemar, wow what happened to him? At one stage he was touted as the next big thing, I’m sure he’s a good player but I expected big things from him.

If he joins Bayern then perhaps this is his time to shine.

The EFL  continues today.
+ Brentford vs Fulham:
Something we took from the Match between Newport  vs Newcastle is that it does not mean to be a premier league team, Fulham also are not in form. I predict a both team score.

+Aston Villa vs Stoke city:
Villa has been part of the improved teams this season and they would win this match.

+ Liverpool vs Arsenal:
At the anfiels again, well we all know what will happen. A win for Liverpool.

Difficult to predict these games due to coaches playing squad players as they don’t see this competition as vitally important.
3284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: September 30, 2020, 05:46:44 PM
EFL Cup games taking place tonight 30th September 2020

I’m just watching Newport vs Newcastle, it’s 1-0 to Newport with only 35 mins to go. This would be huge if Newport could hang on, they’re several leagues below Newcastle. With the financial impact of covid & fans not being allowed to attend, it’d be amazing for Newport to get into the 1/4 final. The TV money would be really good for them.
3285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 30, 2020, 05:17:56 PM
I believe more in Atletico Madrid's success in the Champions League than Real Madrid or Barcelona, but whether Simeone's team will have enough patience this time around is unknown.

Atletico don’t play an expansive game of football. They defend, defend, defend! The winner of the CL is usually a progressive, attacking team. I don’t think Atleti will come even close to being champion of Europe.

Tottenham's match against Man U. will be the most exciting match in this month . Both  teams are strong . Anything will be happen in this match . But i think Tottenham would like to  draw this match . Because their other opponents in this month are relatively easy teams .

Dude, this is not a high quality match any more. Man Utd are a pale shadow of the team they once were. Spurs are just, well, Spurs. They never win anything. It’s an important match for both teams to try & get points towards a fight to squeeze into the top 4 but neither team will get anywhere near the title. They can try & get 4th or something, it’s far from the most exciting match of the month.

Man City throwing more money at defenders lol. Pep has a terrible record of signing defenders at Man City. I think teams are starting to figure Pep out. All of City’s best players were already there when he arrived, he has wasted so much money. If Man City don’t win the title or CL this season I think he will be sacked.
3288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 29, 2020, 08:40:00 PM
Bale has been a great player over the years but he’s constantly riddled with injuries. I just don’t think it’s going to work out as well as Spurs hope. You should never sign a player on the way down in his career. Always better to sign younger, hungry players.
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 29, 2020, 02:07:44 PM
tomorrow in the allianz arena the supercup final between bayern munich and borussia dortmund will take place.
it will certainly be an exciting game - but bayern is considered a big favorite in my eyes, even though L. Sane will not play due to an injury...

The two biggest teams in the German game. I have to say, I think Bayern will win but Dortmund are such a you t, exciting team, they will definitely make it hard for Bayern.

Arsenal showed some good playing performance in the first half of the game. They managed to score a goal and by the time the game was on 1-1 score I thought that they are going to get some points out of this game.
Unfortunately, they conceded another goal and then another one and when the Gunners were unable to react on the 3-1 score.

Arsenal showed Liverpool too much respect, they set up to play like a team at the bottom of the table. They play far too defensive & just ask Liverpool to attack them. Liverpool could have scored many more goals.

Dreadful week for me this week - a big fat 0 points ! Smiley I honestly didn’t think my picks were that bad !!
On a positive if I can manage somehow to get 0pts in one round,  I reckon I can somehow get 25 pts In another round  Smiley I’m trying to remain positive . ONWARDS AND UPWARDS ffs

It’s a very long season, positions don’t mean much now, we have 35 match rounds to go. Nothing is decided yet, just keep going. I must say, I have started the season terribly too Cheesy
3292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Twitter Mentions Dropped To 2 Year Low on: September 28, 2020, 12:58:41 PM
I don’t think bitcoin's success or lack of it depends much on Twitter users. Most people who spend all their time on social media are broke so wouldn’t add much.

We’re aiming for mainstream adoption but losing mentions on Twitter isn’t going to be harmful.
3293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: September 28, 2020, 12:54:53 PM
Very difficult to start making predictions of final league positions this early but I’ll give it a go -

1st Liverpool
2nd Man City
3rd Chelsea
4th Arsenal
5th Spurs
6th Man Utd
7th Everton
8th Leeds
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 27, 2020, 01:25:16 PM
Damn it, I had Sheff U vs Leeds down as a draw, I’m always one goal away from picking up points in nearly every game. That’s the way it is I suppose, Leeds are a breath of fresh air to the PL though aren’t they. It’s great to see them back.
3295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: September 26, 2020, 12:00:52 PM
I don’t see any point to this fight aside from a big pay day for both fighters. McGregor isn’t a boxer, it’s a farce, I would like to see him back in the Octagon where he belongs.

Pacquiao is one of the greats, he has nothing to prove, let alone against a MMA fighter. I struggle to see a need for this fight, it makes a bit of a show of the sport.

Your Oktoberfest promo sounds cool. I’m not German but I presume the genuine Oktoberfest won’t be happening due to the pandemic so the next best thing is to spend it with you guys.

Keep up the great work Karl.

Thanks Smiley

Edinson Cavani is closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid, according to TuttoMercato. Atletico is preparing an atomic attack for the new season.  Cheesy

Dude,

Suarez, Diego Costa & Cavani would be the oldest front 3 in the top European Leagues?
It would be the best front 3 if we were in 2015 Cheesy Atletico must be a retirement home, great players but definitely not at their peaks any more.

A guy who is at the forefront of technological advances & pioneering internet apps is definitely a person you should be listening to with regards to making money.

It makes sense, buy bitcoin Smiley
3299  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Not your keys, not your Crypto – Kucoin Hacked! $150m Stolen. on: September 26, 2020, 09:52:31 AM
Ridiculous that this is still happening in 2021, sad for the people who have lost money but like you say OP, ‘not your keys, not your bitcoin’.

People just don’t learn. Guys please don’t leave your crypto on exchanges or if you have to, if you like day trading, move your coins off the exchanges when you’re not actively trading.

Exchanges should not be used as wallets, use your brain.

After Edouard Mendy move from Rennes to Chelsea, Chelsea are considering to move their out of form goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan in this summer transfer window. Given the performance he has given so far I have doubt anyone would be interested in Kepa. Better move out on loan to see if he can still show signs of improvement.

(Source: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8770537/Chelsea-ready-send-flop-Kepa-loan-Lampard-finally-replaces-Edouard-Mendy.html)

I am interested in hearing some Chelsea fans reaction to this.

I haven’t seen much of Mendy play but he can’t be any worse than Kepa. How that dude is the most expensive GK in the world is one of life's greatest mysteries Cheesy
