My friend is into sports. To be precise, he takes up cycling. His birthday is coming up and I want to give him a present. But I don't know what to give sportsmen. Clothes? Money?
Why not just take him for lunch or dinner. Physical presents are cool but I think he would appreciate to spend time & have some good laughs & drinks with his good friend.

Nobody gives a crap about Elon Musk and Tesla anymore. He has lost all his credibility, bitcoin price didn't move at all despite some people trying to hype things up over the past 12 hours; the shitcoins he advertises are also no longer showing any reaction to his pump attempts.
This is my thinking, it’s like the boy who cried wolf. Eventually after creating multiple drama lots of times, people start to ignore him. I don’t think his comments will have much of an effect on price now, neither negative not positive which is good. Bitcoin is decentralised, no masters or chiefs, Elon needs to learn that.

This sounds a bit dodgy to me, are you sure the scammer isn’t YOU, OP? If you’re considering doing something shady then I’ll ask you not to. Life is hard enough as it is right now, without being scammed.

I’m just glad he didn’t start trolling, which could have led to a significant dump. He was fairly positive regarding bitcoin on the Zoom Call for The B Word & the price didn’t do that much either way. Possibly he’s losing his effect on the market which is a good thing.

Won’t be any crying from me, I’ve waited many years with cold, hard HODLING. Sooner rather than later would be better for all of us though right?
I think we will see 1BTC @ $1,000,000 before the end of the decade.

I’m sure there are, some really really intelligent people do it but it’s morally wrong isn’t it? In some ways criminally wrong too, unless they help the Feds catch pedophiles or terrorists or something.

At least Elon didn’t play up & try to spread FUD. Other than that, nothing overly positive was said & tge price is unaffected. Bit of a nothing burger in reality.

It’s always good to hedge but in my opinion always be top heavy on bitcoin. It’s cool to diversify maybe 20% of your portfolio into smaller cap & reputable alts but be careful because it’s a minefield in the alt markets.

Do you really need a Degree these days? If you had to do it all over would you go to college?
I didn’t go to college & it stopped me doing nothing. I got involved in bitcoin early & made money, college didn’t do that. I think if you have a specific field of expertise as a target then go to college. So many people just go & study bum subjects & end up working in an office or being a teacher which is a waste of college fees.

A friend told me about bitcoin & he has a lot more money than me so I trusted his advice & bought. Suffice to say it has worked out very well for me as a 2015 adopter.

Looks like yet another shit coin/token, it’s not something I will be investing in but good luck to you if you decide to buy some. I usually wait until coins/tokens are more proven which can be negative for me too I guess.

Newbies lose money in bitcoin because they have no patience, they expect to get rich in a short time & if the price goes down a bit they sell at a loss which is the worst thing you can do.
|
|
|
If the cause of the bitcoin theft is user error (which it is more often than not) then no, they are not liable for the loss. If their servers are hacked or something though which leads to multiple losses then they should reimburse people. As we saw with MtGox though there is no guarantee.

I’m really hoping we are nearly past the worst & close to the bottom. All technicals point toward us still being a bull market so I have to remind myself to be calm & that we will start to go up again soon.

It’s a good time to buy any of the top 50 cryptos. We’re over 50% down from ATH’s & I think we’re still in a bull market even if the market says the opposite. So sure buy DOT, it’s a good time.

Email & text scams like this have been going on for decades. You can usually tell by the poor use of grammar that it’s some dumb scammer. Money doesn’t come so easily unfortunately so any type of correspondence you receive offering free money is almost certainly a scam.

He’s not mentally ill, he’s just looking for any excuse why Fury totally humiliated him in tge ring. He thought he was the man, undefeated, invincible champ. I don’t expect a different outcome in the third fight. He’ll never have to work again though, his family is sorted financially for life.

I like your attitude OP & others could certainly learn a thing or two by trying to replicate your desire. I have spent on credit cards & stuff like that over the years when I needed money instead of selling my bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best asset in the world, I am never selling mine at times like this when the market is bearish.

Not that long really, about an hour or two. I do really enjoy my time here though & have done for many years. I gained a lot of knowledge from being a poster here.

We’re not in a bear market, we’re just cooling off after going too high, too fast in the first part of 2021. Just relax & wait, if you waited 5 years you can wait another few months which is when this bull run will heat up again.
