Notre Dame Burns!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlaxZtwUpVc

I am sure the religion of pieces had absolutely NOTHING to do with this. This is becoming a pretty clear pattern. Europe, you are going to have to make some hard choices very soon.

Quoted to prove how islamophobic you are.
At this point the cause of the fire hasn't been determined.

Phobia is usually reserved for communicating the idea of irrational fears. There are plenty of very rational reasons to be afraid of Islam. People like you would keep pretending until all of Europe is Eurabia. Keep telling yourself I am the irrational one until you are the foreigner in your own country and your will submits to theirs.

If I was a cop in the vicinity of N Dame, I sure would be taking a hard look at Middle Easterners, male, age perhaps 18-45.

We can try to give them the middle finger by switching platforms but at this point they've already become large enough to buy up or outright destroy competing startups. And they already have our data anyway.

There is no cause for hopelessness.

As an example, suppose you dl an app to your phone, it wants you to set up an account using your facebook (or google) login before it activates.

You would be giving your FB info to some totally unknown small company. Regardless of how evil FB is, this is still a step not to take.

Many, many examples like this exist.
3303  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can this be one of the biggest science breakthroughs so far?(Blackhole) on: April 17, 2019, 10:59:21 AM

So... How many black holes, mathematically speaking, exist across the universe?

Are they responsible for that missing mass?

How come the light (energy) I see on that picture is not perfectly spherical? I thought a black hole was a hole from all directions, from all perspectives... and not something shaped like a warped doughnut... So a black hole has an up and a down and a profile.

Cool.

 Smiley

EDIT: The light we see is a what is happening in the region behind the black hole. I answered my own question.

Rate of centrifugal force is highest equatorially. There the speed is likely a good fraction of light speed, where at upper and lower latitudes that speed is proportionally less. In those regions light falls in at the equator it cannot.
3304  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 17, 2019, 10:52:06 AM

Conservatives of all stripes overwhelmed the Twitter responses to Cher’s original tweet, but liberals peeked in here and there to criticize the singer for everything from her own net worth to her supposed lack of understanding on the issue.

The Left is destroying their moderate base, even destroying people who hates Trump like Cher... Not a smart move (for them).

Hmm... Seems logical to me calling her an hypocrite and a coward.
Wasn't she calling for welcoming immegration something like 2 years ago? Claiming we should all "open our arms" and shit like this?

Changing her word like this just when she's asked to participate via her city is proof she's a stupid lying cunt. Seems logical to call her this.

But some do realize the error of their ways.
3305  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can this be one of the biggest science breakthroughs so far?(Blackhole) on: April 16, 2019, 01:34:38 AM
@spendulus,

Well, I still completely understood that it was a collaborative effort man, and  I didn't even say that she was the one who contributed more on that project it's just that for my understanding she was the one responsible for combining all the data that was gathered all over the world. The only thing that amazes me is that she said if I am not mistaken that she is really not a scientist and as young as that contributed to one of the biggest science breakthroughs is still so amazing.

Sorry, because of not crediting the other team members tho and for the wrong choices of words.

I am not accusing you, not at all. In fact I have second thoughts about my post and here is why. Sure what I said is "right," but science reporters often, almost ALWAYS, get hard science wrong. They just don't understand it.

So I have moved from thinking "fake news" to thinking "another bungled science reporting coupled with politically correctness inclinations and a great pic of a pretty girl".

But there is simply no excuse for not showing and even naming each of the individuals. Yes they are likely all brilliant. In a field like this there is no room for pushing minorities or women to the front. Those games do not work, they stifle progress.
3306  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Austrialia wants to ban online anonymity - globally on: April 15, 2019, 12:34:34 PM
I may not support the ban of online anonymity when it comes to financial transactions such as  blockchain and cryptocurrencies, but on the issue of trying to stop hate speech on the social media ....

In the USA for several years, we have seen over and over, banning of conservative writers and thinkers by Facebook and Twitter based on something they said being "hate speech."

I no longer take this type of thing seriously and consider it nothing more than one sided political repression.

Maybe it is one of those kind of things that sounds nice in the abstract, but when implemented becomes evil very quickly.

Recently I have made a post on making chaRity activities and raising funds for a good cause. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124375.0

Until I have seen some people that are ready to help and encountered a person who really is in need, and yet the fundraising event is not getting any attention even though it already have some activities.

Does any person will be poor if he donates a $1 money coming from his own pocket? .....

To answer your question in the header, the reason the Hell People are not helping is because they are Hell People.

You are looking for angels.

But then, what you find are the Hell's Angels.

If you,re looking for people to blame, blame the people who won't let women with penises into the bathroom.
I think most people would call this type of person a "man"

True, but one would strongly argue the oppose if his goal was to sow division and discord into the population of the USA.
You have to be diluted to believe anything different.

Maybe the rise of the transexual movement is the taxpayer funded teaching of far left wing extremism present on college campuses. It is no wonder why so many Democratic Presidential candidates  in the states are pushing for "free college", they want colleges to impose liberal ideology onto as many students as possible.
There is no "maybe," instead there is a carefully orchestrated release of "issues," year after year, each more radical and divisive than the last. I would submit this is intentional and planned.

In reality, there is no "rise of the transexual movement." There is only the media hype of issues surrounding a very, very small percentage of the population. This is part of the media setting the issues their handlers want you to talk about and think about.

It looks like they even released the email addresses of their donors https://file.wikileaks.org/file/wikileaks-leaks-donors.txt

Edit: they may have Clinton’s emails lol. https://file.wikileaks.org/file/clinton-emails/
Edit2: it looks like this may not actually be new, and may be from early 2016 - https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/

I looked through some files published on file.wikileaks.org and it looks like most of the files are mundane, nothing stands out as being potential bombshells, and a lot is really old, decades old. Also according to a tweet from Wikileaks, nothing on file.wikileaks.org is new.

At the core, the issue here is the power of the individual, vs the traditional power of the state. This is part of a gradual change that of course, is dangerous to the state.

...the person behind the taking of that beautiful images was a young lady?

Her name was  "Katie Bouman" and she explained that in order for us to see ....
Here is a cute pic as well of her worked....

JOURNALISM: Woman Who Media Claims Created Black Hole Image Contributed 0.26% of Code; The media may have been overzealous giving Bouman in giving sole credit for the discovery. “According to data provided publicly by GitHub, Bouman made 2,410 contributions to the over 900,000 lines of code required to create the first-of-its-kind black hole image, or 0.26 per cent. Bouman’s contributions also occurred toward the end of the work on the code. In contrast, contributor Andrew Chael wrote over 850,000 lines of code.”

To her credit, her credit-sharing response was appropriately honest.

https://bigleaguepolitics.com/woman-who-media-claims-created-black-hole-image-contributed-0-26-of-code/

So you've been fed A COMPLETE LIE by the mainstream media. Here are the facts.

While the Western media attempted to use her gender to make a point, Asian publications, including Asahi, offered a more nuanced and truthful article, writing that “207 scientists in 17 nations and regions took part in the project,” and refusing to assign the achievement to any one of the scientists.

For her part, Bouman made it clear on Facebook that she did not want sole credit for the achievement.

“No one algorithm or person made this image,” wrote Bouman, “it required the amazing talent of a team of scientists from around the globe and years of hard work” to capture the black hole image.

Replying to one of the comment asking if the image was made by her personally, Bouman added “Actually no, there were a number of us that all squeezed into the room and pressed go on our computers at the same exact time! We didn’t want any one person or algorithm to be the first one to make the image.”

Andrew Chael wrote the code.

Just another case of a father who can't accept that HIS SON is trans.  He probably sees it as a verdict of his own manhood.   /toxicmasculinity....

There is zero difference between this case and a case in which the mother tried to cut off an arm of her son. Whatever the "reason" does not matter.

What is worse than a deluded woman who believed this nonsense propaganda is fools who blindly follow and propagate the ideas.

Useful idiots, all.

I should have created a btc wallet when I started the thread, instead of just doing it for the good of humanity and the polar bears...  Smiley

There is a high correlation between the period of time this thread has been in existence, and the explosion in the polar bear population.

As climate alarmists have repeatedly insisted, correlation is causation....

So what you are saying is... My thread about global warming got the polar bears horny?

But...

But they all told us horrible things would happen. It would be our fault, and the bears would all die.

The burden of proof is definitely on you to prove that the meaning of the book is not what the author said the meaning of the book was...

Author never said book was about communism. He said it was about Stalinism...
Go ahead, prove it if you can. Quote him. But stop making things up.

Don't bother. This is more comtard logic from mOgLie. BuT iTs Not TrUe COmMuNiSm!

I'd be willing to listen to a more detailed analysis, supported by facts, which should be plentiful since we're talking Orwell here. But that not forthcoming, I have to agree with you that this is the "True Scotsman" logical fallacy.

Marxism is based upon victim status. The proletariat and the oppressed masses which need to create a revolution to overthrow the bourgeoisie yadda yadda. It is a collectivized form of malignant narcissism. It is a simple formula. Either find or create victims, point at a target group and condition them to believe that target group is responsible for their victim status, justify victimizing them in the name of equality, create more victims as a result, rinse and repeat.
One thing to add.
It is true that Marxism always operates to victim status of some class. But as we see it is not necessarily supposed to be the proletariat. Working class was in the middle of marxist ideology somewhere at the 20 century. Now when proletariat understood that Marx was wrong and working class does not really suffer from anything Marxists switched their ideology to different minorities: mostly sexual or religious ones.

I don't even have to really talk to you, just putting your own words close together make it funny ^^
In some other words: "I know that I'm right but I don't know how to prove it and I don't have to because you are wrong."

Duno if this news can be considered as a breakthrough but it is definetely cool.

It is indeed a big breakthrough for science discovery...

Imaging a stellar event certainly can be a breakthrough, similar to the amazing ways we are starting to use sensors to "see" planets around stars far away.

However, imaging a black hole was not necessary as proof of the theory of the black hole.
But there are many parts of the concepts about black holes, and here the issue is the Schwartchild radius. Any object whose physical size was smaller than the S radius would be a black hole. Predictions WERE that light should be given off as matter and photons approach that radius. Now we know that's true.

Schwartschild developed his theory while serving in the German WW1 army. IIRC he was doing artillery ballistics, then he'd work on the math and now and then send a letter from the front lines....
3319  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: April 14, 2019, 03:19:27 AM
She should stand again in the next presidential election and i hope she wins.

You realize she lost to Donald Fucking Trump... right?

Hillary Clinton couldn't beat a turd sandwich in an election... people HATE her with a passion... she is the quite literally, the worst presidential candidate in the history of the country... millions of people who voted for a black man refused to vote for her... yes, she is THAT bad

Trump didn't win the election, Hillary lost the election... Hillary would have lost to anyone, literally anyone

Nominating Hillary in 2020 would be a surefire way to get Trump re-elected
My thoughts exactly.

But it goes much deeper than that. There wasn't really a D primary, it was sort of fake and they ran essentially a gonna-fail 2nd candidate, Sanders, to make it at least look like there was a primary. It was rigged by the powers that be before that "primary" that she was IT, and that became very clear.

Those manipulators are still there, but now they are hiding their intentions behind 20 some primary candidates. What they want is someone who will do what heshe is told, and do it reliably.
