3321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POSW] POSW COIN | Earn Monthly Dividends in Profit-Driven Growth Coin on: January 13, 2017, 09:13:37 PM
Is there anyway you can keep us logged in for a longer time?   That's the least we could ask.

I think you are taking the faucet thing a little too seriously.  I understand that if it's harder to get that they will be around longer, but maybe we can all work on making sure there is a balance there for good coins.  Many good coins are so cheap right now that it's not unforeseeable that someone might donate like $1 of digibyte to your site, etc.    I don't do faucets much but clicking 10 times or more like sometimes your site makes one do is a little crazy.  With yobit, which is run by a hero account member here, and it's one click.  It's fun to diversify with the coins this way but I don't do it that much because it's almost a complete waste of time.
3322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.2 Now Available! on: January 13, 2017, 06:51:35 PM
I realy like your ideas about the donations account I think it would be a good development for earthcoin. Of course such things should be completely transparant on the site to give trust. In the beginning of eac there was a premine (for the development of EAC if I remember correctly) there was so much discussion about that. It never became clear where it has gone,  probably sold.
As for the change in algo are there any risks or cons and how does the change go into work can you give more insight in doing that, should every eac miner stop mining script with the old client at once or can the different algo's run next to each other for a while?

And a hurray for myself I compiled earthcoind.exe  Grin

Too bad the dev isn't friendly enough to give over the great website code they had going for a few years.
3323  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: January 13, 2017, 06:58:44 AM
As a Christian it is impossible for me to hate as that part of me has been taken away on the cross were my saviour was crucified. Muslim are not my problem but theirs doctrine, did you know that their doctrines set them against human especially the doctrine of jihad. God himself has said it from beginning."Ismal hand shall be against all man" so you can see Isis slaughter human beings without little remorse on the eye and they will begin to shout " Alahuakubrel". As a Christian what should we do? Please know that prayers' can change the mind of God and the heart of a king is in the hand of God. Let pray until terrorists are completely wipes out.

+1

I do think Christendom gave the world something amazing.  Christianity like any other force in the world always had to have a strong hand.
People point at that as hypocrisy but it's just reality.  Oscar Wilde said that life imitates art more than art imitates life.  Since Christianity wasn't as big an influence in the last 50 years you can see what's happened to much of the world.

Looks like this coin is the most profitable amongst X11-based coins... May be I should mine it?..

Coinwarz is showing it as a most profitable coin to mine today as: Digitalcoin-Scrypt

But is that just because of a temporary pump or is this long term?  Doesn't seem to be active here.
3325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Correlation is there Between Altcoin Index Price and Economy? on: January 13, 2017, 02:49:41 AM
What correlation is there between altcoin index price and the economy?  You could also call it the relationship between a very good altcoin mutual fund's price and the economy.  I see Digibyte was up in 150's in March 2016 which it didn't reach since it's launch.   I imagine most other good older coins were up high then too.  What was going on in the economy at large?

Altcoin capitalisation is totally in correlation with Bitcoin. When Bitcoin was almost $1200 was altoin capitalisation highest. So if you want to search correlation with old economy. then you should first research it towards Bitcoin.

I heard that when Bitcoin goes up, it takes money out of altcoins.  So, are you saying that the reverse will happen in altcoins when you see those factors happening?

3328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: January 12, 2017, 12:12:18 AM
To my Gulden friends the removal from Apple is the death knell for the coin, the price of the coin is too high without a iPhone wallet. What are the developers going to work on as most projects were mobile?

Why can't people just use an IOS app for Gulden?
Not sure why the IOS wallet is removed from the Apple AppStore but could also not find it. Did try to search if I could find some more information about the removal but didn't find any news about it. Anyone who know more about what actually did happen that Apple decided to remove it from there AppStore.

When can we expect to see the Gulden wallet back in the AppStore?

Looks like someone at Apple is trying to be political about what altcoins to accept.  Write the assistant to the CEO at once and tell them will have PR muscle behind it if Apple is shown to not be for the people.

I'm new again to using a Linux machine, only really having a lot of telnet Unix experience.  I installed cgminer on a Ubuntu install and copied over my Windows bat files to run.  But when I click on them I get the four options to run in terminal, display, cancel and run.  None of them seems to be working on batch files I've used for several months for Windows cgminer.

3332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Paying Bitcoin Affiliate Program Today? on: January 11, 2017, 12:19:55 AM
I am wondering what the best, hopefully longer term, paying Bitcoin affiliate program is today.

What kind of affiliate you are looking for? if you are looking for affiliate in gambling many sports betting are offering affiliate or any gambling site in gambling section..
But if you are looking for affiliate that paying just to advertise or pay per install, CPA CPI or survey..
There are many site which is paying in usd but the other are paying in bitcoin..
What kind of affiliate you are looking for?

I am not against some legit gambling but it's just I don't want to advertise it.

What actually you are need? i have i bookmarked site that you can seen all affiliate site i hope it can help you what kind of site you are looking for..
Check this site you can see almost all affiliate there. http://www.affpaying.com/

Looks great.  I dropped out of doing this work about five years ago.  If this site is legit, it's awesome.

Have you gotten paid by these sites?  One needs to cross reference them because I've seen HYIP sites that look like this too.

I click on the button then I can right click the text to do a search in chrome to see other reviews of them, but today with even Social Media possibly being fraud ratings, it takes a while to find out which ones are real.

One of the affiliate there which is ogads i already get paid with them and first time to get paid too in cpalead but that 2 are paying in usd or other payment method.. unlike other affiliate site. i currently trying other network there like adworkmedia, cpagrip still not getting leads in my one website and seo optimized.. and the other one is adgate media.. for now i am still studying their offer how i can get traffic with them.. and paid every leads or sale or depends what is working traffic with them.. ogads is good for mobile traffic and cpalead are both desktop and mobile are good ..

The rest still not yet tested..

I put together these kinds of sites to advertise with.  These have all been tested to give you some advertising for free:

3336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]CureCoin - Protein Folding Research based Proof of Work on: January 10, 2017, 11:17:35 PM
I was using it on my laptop chrome tab but stopped to mine Zcash.  Now I'm mining Curecoin with a ASIC.  I don't think it's unwise to think that this coin could reach higher levels.  It's more profitable to still mine BTC and use some of those earnings to buy Curecoin.  And from what I understand, mining Curecoin on an ASIC doesn't do any of the valuable research that folding on a chrometab does.

One problem is that chrome is a memory hog that shards off dozens of little chromes if you use 10 or more tabs at once like I do.  I wonder if google would create a standalone cure folding app that would be based on chrome but not end up bloating the chrome memory usage even more.
I'm not sure if they work off each other, that is, if folding cure in a chrome tab creates more problems for the browsing experience.  I will reinstall it on my deskop soon and find out.
3337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is the SearchTrade Idea Protected by Trademark? on: January 10, 2017, 11:08:26 PM
-snip-

Well fact is that you wouldn't really manage to do anything new with that...
You can't copy past the original code because code is a an intellectual production protected by intellectual rights. But you can largely inspire yourself from it without any problem.

Inspire yourself from this site: https://search.lilo.org/
The idea is that you win not money but points, with which you make donations to associations.
So giving out satoshis might not be the best because you actually see that you don't earn much...

But the most important would be to get the results directly from Google, because you need an excellent one.

I don't want to follow this business model, but it seems it's a good idea if the whole structure was implemented, like
Synereo is trying to do with the attention economy.

The problem is, you probably won't ever earn anything really at SearchTrade.  It seems it sets itself up to be used by office sweat shop
pools that just do searches all day long.  They should have a maximum number of searches that can be done per day, a lower payout,
and sell a lot of ads to actually be able to pay anyone.  The problem is, and everyone knows it, an Internet site today has chances of
only lasting two to three years, maybe not even that long.  Will they be around in a year or two to get your $1 in bitcoin for switching your
searches away from the all in one google domain to use google?

I wish the owner well, seems like a nice guy, I just think he should think outside the box a little more.

3338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2017, 08:33:35 PM
Trump has to show up China by investing billions in U.S. Bitcoin farms, with management positions given to the U.S. members of BTCTalk who spread the least amount of FUD.
3339  Economy / Service Discussion / Is the SearchTrade Idea Protected by Trademark? on: January 10, 2017, 08:17:17 PM
SearchTrade is a website that has a google search which you get paid 20 satoshis ever time you do a search.

Here is something from the Searchtrade site:

Minimum Withdrawal Amount : 0.00100000 BTC.
Withdrawal Fees                    : 0.00036500 BTC.

so they are taking 30% of your searches in order to get paid and looks like you would
be using it about a year or two, at least to reach the payout.

Searchtrade also doesn't have a good BTCtalk track record.  Not much activity in the last
year.

It seems like a good idea, preferably one that might be bought out by someone who can make
it more feasible.  Most people know today that high payouts are a no go in affiliate work, faucets
and so on.  But can this idea be legally copied by someone?  I think the idea was around before it
was converted to BTC.
