Kangeroobits is looking interesting with a new wallet that is supposed to replace the old one:
"5% random 3% from then superblocks every 5000 blocks with reward x10 and random superblocks min reward x2 max x5 random frequence but minimun 1 superblock every 1000 blocks block time 300 sec fast transaction reducing confirmations to minimum."
Not sure if the new one will work but it's interesting to have another decent paying random staking wallet like RAIN.
I'm staking well with the new Kangeroobits wallet. You can only buy the new forked coin at Novaexchange.

What do you think would be the difference as to why this coin still has low value? For those who invested in RAIN, how long did it took for the coin to reach x10 or x20 value? I am curious as to the difference between these coins.
RAIN, and some others like Growcoin, Truckcoin, Version, and it looks like Kangeroobits, which is a random staking coin like RAIN, have just high enough POS return to not go down with inflation. BOAT's percentage is low enough that there isn't much incentive to stake it, and not much marketing work on it either. Try to get the word out about POS Wallets so more buy and stake and the price goes up.

The new wallet is awesome! Great job.

Noise23, What is the purpose of this coin? Do you plan to create a roadmap? Is there a white paper in its future? What features will this coin have that can grow the community?
I think that it's one of the five best staking/highest POS coins that will not tank due to inflation. That's enough of a reason for it's existence. Another is there is still room for it to grow up, whereas I think a lot of 2000 Sat + coins may be going down somewhere along the line. If nothing else, I believe that we could do with a much better website to help attract new members into this community. I'd be willing to contribute some V in order to help accomplish that goal. However, we'd need to have a utility, otherwise the best we'll ever be able to have is a one-page website. Define what you mean by utility. By utility, I mean use/purpose of the coin other than just staking. How about Version is about teaching the public about staking wallets? Those who invest in the coin are paying to have like public instructors that can hold demonstrations in libraries, schools, nursing homes, you get the idea... "There may be many 'Versions' of Staking Wallets but do they do THIS?" That's a great purpose/utility for the Version coin. How awesome would it be if we had an updated website with that as the purpose of the coin? That alone would bring new members to community, in my opinion. It definitely beats not having a definitive purpose. Did you just make that up or is that really the true purpose of Version coin? It's an ongoing goal of mine. I think it would really empower people to have staking wallets at home. It helps people that may not have that much going for them for extra income. If they open their mind a bit they are rewarded by this new tech hobby that can also teach them more about using their computers, backing up important things, and so on. I don't know what the original intent for Version is except V words sound interesting. That sounds like a great idea. The only true way that people can earn any significant extra income from Version will be if Version actually becomes valuable. If Version can gain value to 1 penny and above and be able to remain stable above a penny, then it really has the potential to help people generate extra income. At its current price, one would have to stake for a lengthy amount of time before earning enough to buy a cup of coffee. Maybe people from Version, Buzz, 1337, Growthcoin, Truckcoin and any other high percentage POS coin could team up and create a type of marketplace or co-op corporation against the coins tanking. Otherwise, it seems some of these coins are going to go the route of others that came down to zero. Or the coins could simply do a rebranding. Artificially propping up failing coins will ultimately end in failure. I've suggested that 1337 consider a rebranding, but it seems that the community voted against it some time ago. Some of these coins can get new life if they are rebranded and privacy features are added. Version has less than 500 million coins, based on Coin Market Cap. That means that If that number is accurate, it means that it could see tremendous growth if privacy were added and it was rebranded as a privacy coin. Reduce the POS percentage, rebrand the coin with maybe a new name and update the website. Those 3 things could send this coin to 30 cents in 6 months. Doesn't seem the percentage is high enough with Version, Truck, Growth, Rain, 808, and of course, BOAT, Piggy, Noble or Kangeroobits to see the inflation be a problem. I think the public awareness of what POS Wallets are will grow and bring more people in to stake. Buzz, 1337 and Linda I am worried about, but you can still make profits selling them for LTC and DOGE because they are much smaller than BTC and the volatility makes them profitable.

Having touble synch-ing my V wallet - anyone got any reliable nodes?
I don't see a .conf file in the directory and that's been the only way I've seen node information displayed before. I'm running it with 20 connections. If you know how to get node info from the wallet, tell me or others and we can post it. Go to the console and type getpeerinfo, the IPs in each peer are the addnode=x where x is the IP:port. Or atleast I believe that's how to jury-rig addnodes with active connections I did try that for a little while but couldn't find the console, lol....maybe someone else can help. It's a great coin/wallet and is staking very nicely.

You can't withdraw if you have less than .02 BTC. None of the BTC trading is now active it seems, only CNY trading. At least you can convert to DOGE and withdraw that.

The coin(s) I trust the most are the ones I've thought about carefully. Hopefully, Signatum will be the last coin that I buy out of FOMO. I figure the way to buy into a coin is slow, like over a couple of hours. See where the buys are going, are they going down in price after your first purchases or up. With Signatum they were slowly going down and down from the time I bought in, but I was buying in over a period of about 30 minutes. I should have waited and saw that they were going down way further than what was a good idea to buy into. If they don't go up a bit a few hours after you buy, then chances are you bought in at a high that may never be reached again. Usually things will retrace and go back up again.

Thanks. You know, IMDB DELETED the entire forum that had hundreds of thousands of posts and was well LOVED by many people. I seldom use caps but we have to make sure corporations can't do this to people anymore. Synereo AMP is trying to be a type of Facebook killer for that reason. Many publically (which isn't a word according to Chrome spellcheck, funny isn't that?) well-loved sites have been gutted by corporations. MySpace is one example. Tokens like this have some way of hopefully in the future having a value and being able to be given to people doing work in the arts so they can circulate them to others and trade them on exchanges.

you should stop this thing with the newbies, there are newbies with 2-3 years old account as mine.
I'm not always that strict about it but it's custom to not give airdrops out to brand new accounts because of fraud duplicates.

Here is an example of the airdrop request. It only has to be one or two sentences, but more is fine. An anonymous member replied: Frankenstein (1910) This film makes me scared and shouted Shocked , Frankenstein, a young medical student, trying to create the perfect human being, instead creates a misshapen monster. Made ill by what he has done, Frankenstein is comforted by his fiancée but on his wedding night he is visited by the monster A fight ensues but the monster seeing himself in a mirror is horrified and runs away. He later returns, entering the new bride's room and finds her alone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-fM9meqfQ4FRANKENSTEIN (1910 Edison Production) HD

What is website's address?
This is just starting out and looking for people who want bounties to do various things like design a website. When I first got to Nitrateville.com in 2011, most were even opposed to watching silent films on YouTube. The silent film community is both high tech because of film restoration, and very Luddite, meaning old fashion. I believe in WAVES because I think it can make using innovative cryptocurrency easy, but we need to build teams who share the same cultural interests. Since I'm good at starting things, I am starting a few of these cultural coins and wanting others to join in and get the benefits. These are long range projects, which I'm good at doing.

how to join airdrop ?
Just send me a sentence or two showing me that you watched a Silent film horror movie. This Airdrop is for 1000 Tokens.

So, I have only 14,849 coins, and they are in one block of 6K, and five blocks of 13K to 16K, and two smaller blocks. What do you think I should do to get maximum stakes?
Hello there! You can use coin control feature from the wallet. Activate it under Setings->Options->Display Tab. Then go to Send Coins, click on Imputs, check all and send your coins to yourself. (copy your wallet address and send the coins there). The wallet will show only the tx fee and the remark "payment to yourself". Cheers, kiddo! Thanks, I know most of that, just wondering about the profitability/odds with changing block size with this coin. I guess bigger blocksize means better profitability, so having many smaller blocks isn't good?

It should be well known that this is one of the most profitable coins to mine on all the older Antminer machines. And when it's colder, they're the best option for heating a house

Does anyone have a list of all the websites related to this?
I think they should be in the OP or in the spreadsheet. At the moment I think that's all. There was a website posted a while back that I think referenced this coin.

|

Thinking of "The BuzzCoin Economy." If people want this coin to not tank, there should be some utility for the coin, like a trading website, marketplace for digital downloads, etc. About twenty other coins have done that, but not a high staking POS coin that I'm aware of.
